Highly Opinionated: The 8 Best Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps in LA | Eater LA

"The restaurant outpost of Gwyneth Paltrow’s online store/magazine/business (as described in the piece) delivers a surprisingly good, near-innovative chicken Caesar wrap that is fully gluten-free, made with a Coyota cassava-flour wrap instead of flour tortilla. The cassava wrap is chewier and less airy than flour but holds up well; the use of little gem lettuce provides a refreshing snap and high water content, and the wrap comes standard with avocado (adding buttery fattiness). The chicken is high-quality white meat (somewhere between shredded and cubed), the croutons are garlic-forward, and the Caesar dressing carries a touch of Calabrian chile for a suggestion of heat (not overtly spicy). Priced at $19.19, the result is characterized as a balanced synthesis between traditional Caesar and “fancy hippie” food." - Hilary Pollack

Google
We love Goop Kitchen! My husband and I first tried it last week with delivery from the Beverly Hills location — the gluten-free pizza was amazing, and he loved the chicken teriyaki bowl with extra protein. Today we visited in person and loved sitting outdoors in the beautiful Beverly Hills area (not all locations have seating, so this is a big plus!). The food is healthy, delicious, and offers great gluten-free options. Their non-dairy ranch dressing is the best! Also, big shout-out to Ian from customer service — he’s always so helpful and even gave us $10 off our first order when we had an issue online. So happy with the food and the service! Suzanne

My partner and I are officially obsessed with Goop Kitchen — it’s rare to find a place where both the salads and the pizzas are equally crave-worthy, but they’ve nailed it. Everything is fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and honestly just feels good to eat. The salads are next-level (the spicy Cesar salad is a staple for us), and the pizzas are flavorful without being heavy. Total standouts. But the real must-tries? The summer rolls — so refreshing and perfectly balanced — and the salmon bento box, which is somehow both clean and indulgent at the same time. We’ve made it a weekly thing, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend.

Google
High quality, nutritious and delicious food with a conscious. The price is actually amazing for the quality of food. It is number one of only two places I will order from if I have not meal prepped. I used to work as a chef, so my expectations is somewhat high. Thank you Goop for your excellent customer service!

Google
I order from Goop Kitchen often, maybe 50+ times. When I first started everything was amazing. As they’ve gotten bigger I’ve noticed things perpetually getting worse: quality, portions. I ordered 3x this week, I know crazy and each portion of salad was pretty small but tonight’s salads were about 1/3 full. When I tried contacting to ask why, request refund or replacement it was rejected since I had received my order. Hope they go back to how they were in the beginning considering this salad was $27.

Google
Damian I believe that’s his name was super nice and friendly helping with an order. 100% satisfied and happy with his service at goop in Beverly Hills.

Google
I’m obsessed! My food was delicious. I want to try the whole menu. Plotting how I can manage to eat Goop every day because if I could I would. It’s well-priced for the quality though! I’ve now had the falafel wrap, chopped salad and sweet potato soup and loved everything. I also got a mushroom bowl some years back that an employer picked up for me and I’ve never seen it on the menu until yesterday I realized all the items are customizable and can be made vegan or vegetarian. So now I’m genuinely excited that trying the whole menu is an actual possibility. Please keep up the great quality!

Not your typical lunch spot—more of a hidden pickup hub. Tucked inside an office complex in Beverly Hills, Goop Kitchen is easy to miss. There’s no storefront, no visible signage—just an entrance marked for Uber drivers and a few closed doors. On a Saturday afternoon, we went in circles before finally following a delivery driver around the corner to find the right entrance. Once inside, there’s a casual outdoor seating area, the kind you’d expect for office workers on lunch breaks. Orders are placed on a kiosk, and you get a text alert when it’s ready. It’s not a dine-in restaurant—there’s no indoor seating, ambiance, or table service—just a functional pickup counter with a few friendly chefs behind the scenes. We tried a range of dishes: Japanese sweet potato soup, wraps, pizzas—all fresh, organic, and flavorful. Portions were decent, though note that there’s no microwave on-site, so if your food arrives lukewarm, that’s how it stays. Bottom line: Great food, but don’t expect a traditional restaurant experience. Perfect for a fast, healthy pickup if you work nearby or are willing to navigate the maze to find it.

Google
My family ordered from goop Kitchen tonight. This is my second time trying the food. I ordered a winter salmon bowl and it was very good. I definitely recommend it. It was a good portion. I love eating light and healthy. They have other great options. I hope to visit the location on one of my trips to LA.

Yelp
As with all goop Kitchens it's not an actual sit down restaurant but this location is in the courtyard of a building that has plenty of seating. They have great portion sizes and you really can't go wrong with anything. There's a good amount of street parking nearby too

Yelp
Driver review: Maybe I caught them on a bad day but they really need to fix their pickup system. Two people in front of me had been waiting for 30 minutes. After I was there about 10 minutes with one lady calling off order names, she closed the door and disappeared to the back. Another lady was there but she wasn't calling out names and there was just 15 or so drivers waiting with nothing going on. I finally just went to the doorway and started helping out by calling out orders myself and lo and behold my order had been sitting on the bottom shelf for probably 20 minutes. Management: Please, for the sake of your customers, employees, and drivers, create a better system. One employee with a loud voice should be constantly calling out the orders so that we don't have to do your job for you.

Yelp
portions are WAY TOO SMALL I just finished my lunch and still starving Like literally this should be called snack box Not lunch Why can't they fill it up This is literally a joke Don't waste your money

Yelp
Customer suggested place. Take-out only. You go in and place your order on an iPad. I went with the miso salmon with brown rice. Once you order they text you when ready. The location is an office complex and there are benches to sit to eat. The food comes in a nice plastic container so easy to eat from. The sauce for the salmon and salad on the side which I like so I can try first. The food was pretty good and on the healthy side so it was light which is good for lunch.

Yelp
tasted like a school lunch , quantity and quality horrible. I'm sorry but honestly if i could i would put 0 stars.

Yelp
I ordered the The goop Teriyaki Bowl, Japanese Sweet Potato Soup and the Coco Chocolate Chip Cookies. The chicken in the Teriyaki bowl was dry and the rest ok. The sauce was amazing. The sweet potato soup was yummy. Wowers. And the cookies were meh. I wouldn't order them again. They were dense and very sweet. I would order from Goop again, the delivery came fast and packaging was done well. The one star that fell off was the dry chicken, but still I would try again.

Yelp
Since this is their closest location to my house, I come here all the time! The food is always fresh and ready on time. Pre-ordering online is a breeze, and the prices are fair, considering the quality of the ingredients. I am obsessed with their Brentwood chicken salad,so many flavors in each bite! Highly recommended if you are looking for a healthy and quick meal in the area!

Yelp
This is my new go-to salad spot! I would order the Fall Harvest Chopped Salad every day if I could! The crispy falafel bits, aged cheddar, butternut squash and marinated beets combined with the maple mustard vinaigrette make the perfect savory and sweet combination. Truly the most satisfying salad!!! The Summer Salad Rolls are also super satisfying and filling, and I love that they come with a few different sauces. I almost always order delivery, so I can't say a lot for the ambiance, but for a to-go spot, this salad can't be beat. The few times I've ordered pickup, the staff has been friendly and the pick up process has been easy and efficient.

Yelp
Ordered through postmates. Food was really good. I had the winter salmon bowl. Came with brown rice and roasted seasonal veggies (squash, sweet potatoes, onions). Nice pairing to the salmon. I also ordered the sweet potato soup not pictured here but was also really good. It was thick and creamy and had mushrooms in it. Also came with roasted seaweed on the side so you can sprinkle some in your soup. My coworkers got the teriyaki bowl. They said it's good and healthy. Would love to try their salads next time.

Jay J.

Yelp
I ordered the Caesar Chicken wrap. As I was unwrapping it, I noticed hair on both wrap pieces. This was very unpleasant and made me lose my appetite :(

Yelp
I want to give a higher rating because I do love the food/menu, but here are some reasons why I can't: 1) food quality isn't consistent- you can tell the broccoli in my teriyaki bowl turning black, or the salads not fresh. 2) the lack of service but they ask for a tip at the end- you can get your receipt sent to you, then you just wait around awkwardly at an office building courtyard. No one calls your name, you go up to a bag that hopefully has your name on it. If it doesn't, you go back outside bc the coffee shop clearly doesn't want you waiting in there. 3) the food takes awhile I'll still eat here because I genuinely like the food- but it's almost better getting it delivered and getting ripped off paying for the inflated postmates rates and delivery fees. I hope they will open an actual fast casual location soon, or at least send notifications when your food is ready to make food pick ups more efficient.

Yelp
OK what is going on!? I came to pick up my order and you have to go in through this corporate building. It looks like it's a ghost kitchen where the café carries all the food but tell me why my salmon which is fish and egg is out in the open in the refrigerator... This is very concerning. As per my previous reviews, I was a fan of goop but however, I'm not sure if the recipes changed or they're using cheaper ingredients because of the economy. The salad has downgraded so much. As you can tell I barely even finished it. It's not fresh. I am highly disappointed if I am spending $20 for a salad I probably won't spend it at goop again.
google avatar

Bayan M.

Yelp
Food is decent! Nothing to write home about and kinda overpriced. I got the miso salmon and it was good. Another downside is that they don't provide any nutritional information? So I had no idea how many calories/protein/sodium etc was in the food which kinda defeated the whole healthy eating thing... This was a door dash order so I can't comment on anything but the food
google avatar

Chef L.

Yelp
Deliciously prepared and packaged organic foods. Flavor profiles to meet everyone's exceeded expectations and we will definitely re-order in the future. All the food was ordered for a group of sophisticated chefs for a lunch during our photo shoot. Thank you again for keeping the standards in the industry

Yelp
Coffee was good. Avocado toast had barely a film of avocado akin to what would be on a sandwich if someone requested light mayo. Not able to taste it at all. Other ingredients on it were fresh, but I was not expecting a very sprout-heavy salad on toast. When I asked if they were low on avocado and showed my barely-green bread to the staff, the snappy response was "That's how we make it." No offer to remake or addl avocado. Not a do-over.

Yelp
goop! she did it again...Gwyneth Paltrow opened a goop Kitchen in Beverly Hills for pick up and delivery ONLY. So glad goop is in Beverly Hills yay! A few months ago I wanted to try goop's creations and went the WLA Colony ghost kitchen just to witness unhappy customers with the order fulfillment process, so I left. Now, this kitchen is dedicated to goop and you order online, your order delivered or you can pick it up from their location on North Maple Drive, across from the Beverly Hills Tennis Club and 1 block away from BH Mercedes dealership for reference. If you visit this shop, you need to enter via another main entrance on Alden Drive. Otherwise, unless you really know your way, you will get lost inside the courtyard. The courtyard has many outdoor seating for single dining or as a group with umbrella shades in a very relaxing zen like setting. Upon placing the order on their online website, there was no ability to modify any order and there was no live person to call and talk to about your order. Also the website gets stuck asking for a promo code, hence the $5 discount couldn't be applied, so due to this tech glitch, which is an major inconvenient minus star. I ended up visiting the goop kitchen. The kitchen shop is small, no indoor seating. The touchpad ordering system was easy and no issues with taking ApplePay, as I had encountered earlier via mobile. The goop staffer Kim was present to help and explain the possible tech glitches. She was apologetic for my inconvenience and helped remedy my inconvenience with goodies. She listened to Me and will relay some of the issues as well as suggestions I had about the menu to corporate and hopefully Gwyneth Paltrow might consider some of my suggestions. I ordered salads and soups: salmon miso salad, Chinese chicken salad and the curry cauliflower soup. Everything was packaged nicely in their containers. I prefer to eat from porcelain plates and use silverware, but you can eat from these containers for convenience and not do dishes, however, goop should know better and use less plastic for containers and switch to paper compostable containers and wooden utensils which are biodegradable and eco friendly. I enjoyed the Brentwood Chinese chicken salad, it looked appealing and I know it was made with clean healthy local, organic ingredients, which is how I prefer to eat without making it myself. I'm a hugh fan of salads and eat it daily, sometimes I want a change of pace and like to try another creative version of what I already know and enjoy eating. Will save the miso salmon salad for later. The curry cauliflower soup was so delish and paired nicely with the Brentwood chinese chicken salad. Ordered a side of vegan carnitas made with mushrooms and it tasted amazingly good; well seasoned marinated srooms! For sweets: chocolate brownies made with almond flour and the chocolate chip cookies made with coconut flour were both YUMMY. From the drinks menu, it was my first time to try a sparkling kombucha tonic drink which named 'Rowdy Mermaid' in strawberry hibiscus and I like it :) Have posted the website pics as they look much better than my container pics. The menu mostly offers salads, chicken and salmon as protein, and pasta. I'm excited to try it All. Go goop!

Yelp
I had green soup and salad with chicken Soup was very cold, it didn't taste good, but after worming it up and adding some red and black pepper taste changed, so recommend to eat it hot, not cold

Yelp
I had never heard of this until I was searching Uber Eats for a new restaurant to order from. I got the Thai Crunch Salad. It was great. Crunch and packed with chicken protein and extras like glass noodles a slightly spicy Thai dressing, I would order this again. Looking forward to exploring the menu further!

Christina R.

Yelp
Ordered via DoorDash a few times... this is the second time that the inside Chicken Ceasar wrap had large pieces of gristle in it -- I shutter just thinking about it. I would expect better quality especially based on the prices.

Yelp
Always clean. Fresh. Right across the street from my house, I actually was surprised to learn it's a 'ghost kitchen' but honestly it was delicious.

Isis M.

Yelp
It's really hit or miss! 50% of the time it's fresh ... 50% of the time it's cold, over cooked and tastes like it was made many hours prior to the order (not associated with the delivery) This order tonight tipped us over the edge and unfortunately we will not order from Goop again.

Andrew T.

Yelp
Great place to get a quick snack but had the matcha latte and do not recommend!! Absolutely tasteless and would not recommend.
google avatar

Dayna C.

Yelp
I don't like Ghost kitchens but this is only available in ghost kitchens. So, gotta do what ya gotta do. One word- delish. The only reason it's been given a four rating is because if you order to pick up it's a wild ride. Dozens of delivery drivers., smoking and talking junk are just hanging around at the door. So you have to wade through that sea. I did. And I'm happy I did. I ordered the soup and salad situation. I got the Caesar salad and added salmon and the Japanese sweet potato soup. And a sea salt brownie. Umami city. I have zero complaints about the food. It's not cheap, but it's not cheap. I'm worth it. So I'll treat myself ever so often. It's great to eat food that is delicious and doesn't leave you feeling miserable.

Brandee S.

Yelp
I love Goop so friggin much! One of my favorite lunchtime spots. The food is delicious and the service is easy breezy.

Bertrand ..

Yelp
There is clearly a problem with customer service here, not to mention a substandard online ordering system that is severely neglected and impacts the overall quality of this brand's commitment to quality and integrity. Despite repeated messages, they refuse to address the multiple instances where they have failed to be transparent in their operations and communications. Whoever is managing things is either in denial or simply unable to perform the role of basic systems optimization.
google avatar

Katrina K.

Yelp
I ordered delivery. Food was amazing and tasted farm fresh. I felt energized after eating it and not lethargic. The items are reasonably priced. I am looking forward to the next time I order.
google avatar

Davy K.

Yelp
Surprisingly very good, simple, healthy meals. Fresh ingredients. Creative options. I'm currently obsessed w the Cobb-ish salad but also love the teriyaki chicken bowl and the miso salmon salad. My only complaint is that they don't give you the option to add extra sides such as pickled shishito peppers, Japanese purple sweet potatoes, roasted beets. It would make everything so much better if I could add or customize. I don't mind paying more but it doesn't even give you the option. Only good for pick up/take out bc it's located in the courtyard of an office building, which is a little odd.
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
I love goop kitchen so much. I pick up meals there multiple times a week. The food is delicious and clean, which is so helpful to me now that I'm on an anti-inflammatory diet. Picking up meals is super easy. There has rarely been an issue with my order but when I've had to contact customer service via text, they've been great. I'm a fan. Goop kitchen 4evr.
google avatar

Whitney W.

Yelp
Better than sweetgreen! My fave take-out. Even their sides are great. I think most dishes can sub out meat with tofu or mushrooms if you're vegetarian. Only issue with this place is all the plastic they use! :( Their bags are also made of thick paper. Not the most environment-friendly packaging.

Kayla T.

Yelp
BEWARE if you have any allergies or if you're vegan. I'm highly allergic to seafood and found pieces of FISH SKIN in my salad. I'm totally grossed out and feel sick. This was truly disgusting. GOOP, PLEASE CLEAN YOUR KNIVES BETWEEN ORDERS!!!
google avatar

Laura W.

Yelp
Beware of large food orders as multiple people were missing the addition of chicken that we clearly paid for.
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
A little hard to find as it's located in a large commercial building, BUT the food is delicious ‼
google avatar

Lindsay A.

Yelp
If there was any level of customer of service I might have given another star. The staff in the coffee shop which shares a "storefront" with Goop is incredibly rude not to mention there's not a single Goop staff member in sight. Sat around for 20min and when i asked for help, the obnoxious barista said we're not the same company. Never even got my food.
google avatar

Victoria A.

Yelp
This $17.50 chop salad makes Goop kitchen look more like POOP kitchen. Never again. Yuck

Joshua M.

Yelp
Goop shouldn't advertise as being open for in restaurant dining if they aren't going to offer patrons a bathroom. There are bathrooms inside the adjacent office park however goop employees did not know the code, nor would office park security readily allow access to the bathroom. Very disappointing, and poor execution. Expect better from Gwyneth :-/

Mella P.

Yelp
Best salad I've had in a long time. The menu is extensive and it has alot of flavor. Would visit again.

Mariah J.

Yelp
Food is amazing! I love the" Pesto Both Worlds" pizza and adding the " little gem Ceaser" on top is the best combination I've ever had ! The service was great and very helpful! The ambiance was very nice also it was very clean inside as well.
google avatar

Marybelle M.

Yelp
Very fresh and yummy food. I've had the salmon and all the salads. All great and not fishy. Portions were good. Service was great.

Jan L.

Yelp
Tried Goop last night for the first time. I ordered the Cobb Salad, one of the best salad's I have ever had. The salad was so fresh, presentation was excellent, and a good portion. Cannot wait to try lots of other things. Doug the Manager was so helpful and kind, I appreciate you Doug.

Margie C.

Yelp
beyond good it's fantastic! i order a lot from door dash, and this is THE FIRST TIME i was so happy with the food, and they prepped it for delivery! i can't recommend good kitchen enough....food is delicious, fresh and healthy! GO GET YOUR ORDER YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! thanks to everyone at the beverly hills location :)

Allison T.

Yelp
I went to eat at goop Kitchen, but ended up eating at Cafe Ruisseau, instead. Perfectly fine because the people were helpful. However, a sign would be nice. Something that explains how goop Kitchen is just a computer monitor on the counter, while Cafe Ruisseau is the physical shop. Wow! Not user-friendly.

Daru A.

Yelp
Love this place! The food, the service, and the atmosphere is always top notch! But most importantly the people who prepare the food are incredible and they always make everyone feel welcome!
google avatar

Robert F.

Yelp
Outstanding food! Quick and easy to pick up. Love the Arugula Salad (add chicken!).

Yelp
Was over-the-moon excited when I heard a Goop opened up in my neighborhood. Having tried it twice thus far, all I can say is that I hope they get their act together, and fast. First time around, I ordered the salmon bowl. It could have been so good. But the salmon was painfully undercooked. The Cesar salad I ordered with it was quite enjoyable tho, especially with the crispy shallots that came alongside it. My next major annoyance was, having signed up with Goop in order to get $5 off my first order, there was no such discount reflected in my bill. So I had to speak with a manager who explained that there's a glitch in the system, and subsequently refunded the $5. The salmon bowl was a 5/10 at best. It could have been made with a lot more love. It felt like it came off an assembly line and was thrown together. So a few days later, I got an email promotion offering a free dessert with my next order should I come back within the next 2 weeks. So I decided to give it another go. This time, I went in and asked what's most popular and was directed toward the teriyaki chicken bowl. Yum, sounds good. So I shelled out about $16/17 for it thinking I'm in for a real treat. I also tried to get the free dessert that was promised in the email, and again, no such luck. The teriyaki bowl would have been great, except that the chicken tasted OLD and GAMY. I've been eating chicken my entire life, so I know what fresh chicken is supposed to taste like. I emailed Goop support to let them know. The response I got was, "We take pride in the quality of our ingredients, etc..." No offer for a refund, adjustment, or any kind of consolation. Another let down. What can I say other than Goop BH has called short of all expectations fo far. Given it's convenient location to me, I may give it one more chance to redeem itself. If they fall short again, this relationship will be officially DOA!
google avatar

Ariel M.

Yelp
Food is good, but my order was missing an entire $10+ soup and there was no ability to resolve the issue. I ordered through postmates and they have a no refund policy, meaning if you have a problem you have to sort it out with goop, which has no phone number or immediate customer service. So in other words I was shit out of luck. Hope they can fix this to better serve their paying customers.
google avatar

Stacy S.

Yelp
It seems goop Kitchen has an issue with delivering soup! This is the second time the soup in my soup and salad combo was missing. Makes for an expensive side salad and not a very filling meal. Will stick to Urth Cafe.

Tara S.

Yelp
GOOP kitchen is fantastic. It can be a little pricey, especially if you deliver, but the quality and taste are worth it. My favorites are the brentwood chinese salad, the chicken southwest bowl and the seasonal salmon bowl, but honestly have never been disappointed with anything i ordered. Seriously, how is all the produce perfectly ripe and fresh? Bravo Gwen!

Lex B.

Yelp
Wow I am so disappointed. This is my 2nd time ordering this through Postmates and this is the second time they completely messed up my order. I paid an extra $4 for chicken that I never got. I asked for no peppers on my bowl and I got peppers. The sauce I asked for, I didn't get, they gave me the sauce that just comes with it. They can never seem to get anything right! Not to mention the lettuce is limp and black. Why have all the modifications if the people working there aren't reading and/or paying attention to them? P.S. both locations I've tried were horrible. Save your money!

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
The salads are balanced and fresh. I also love the fresh spring roll. The dressings are complex and sophisticated. I would eat here everyday if I could because it's healthy and filling. Thank God for Goop.
