Mark from “Goose Gear” was outstanding in customer service. First both my son and I had bought from “Goose Gear” the rear seat delete version 1 when they first came out. When I upgraded to a new truck albeit a Tacoma it was a different year and at that time Mark and the Goose Gear team had come out with “Version 2” which would not work with Version 1. Mark “personally” called to clarify not only the vehicle I was ordering for but to let me know if I was keeping the older Version 1 that it was Incompatible with the new Version 2. Mark also stated that with the version 2 all additional side plates would be included in the order whereas with version 1 they were not. Marks diligence to customer service, accuracy of the order and attention to detail sets an excellent standard for the company. Also to note even though the website states xyz weeks for manufacturing and shipping Mark ensured that he contacted me beforehand so I knew production was starting. As far as the Version 2 “Goose Gear passenger side rear seat delete, it is even better than the version 1. Less hassle to assemble 95% of all the small parts are already assembled on the decking. The real wood is coated with a textured overspray that protects the wood from gouging and prevents damage to the items setting on it. The instructions are clear and show pictures for ease of installation. If you’re looking for a deck to hold a cooler or crash gear or even a deck for your pet, goose gear is an excellent choice and their customer service is “Top Shelf”.

Had small issue with washer being installed with screws that hold drawers in. It made it so I couldn’t remove them. I told Goose Gear and they thanked me for the feedback by giving me 20% off! Great customer service. Just wanted their new guy to know. Don’t install washers. Everything else was great.

I have 2 vehicles with goose gear seat deletes and absolutely live the product. The systems are so well built, its amazing. It has given me the ability to get my gear organized and safely packed away. Beyond that, the platforms allow me to add extra gear that was once left behind due to space constraints and created an area to safely store bags and other items inside the vehicle. I also have a comfortable flat surface for a large dog bed and my animals really love that! All in all, Goose gear makes an incredible product. The seat deletes & drawer systems have changed the game for me. Thank you

I have the stealth system for my 2016 JKU. At first, I wanted to build my own, but I’m definitely glad I went with Goose Gear. American company, quality products and great group of folks to help you build your over landing rig. Highly recommended!

Very well built product. Fit perfectly into my 2019 tacoma. Great for organizing my tools, bags, and misc. cargo. On the pricier side in my opinion, but you definitely get what you pay for with this delete kit. I’d highly recommend.

Purchased a rear seat delete for my 2024 GMC Canyon and was extremely impressed. The engineering and overall quality of this kit are outstanding. While there are no written instructions, the manufacturer’s step-by-step video made the installation straightforward and, honestly, better than a paper manual. Everything fit and installed perfectly. A couple small pieces were missing from the initial kit, but customer service was excellent. They sent the parts out immediately and even offered to overnight them which wasn’t necessary, but the offer was greatly appreciated. This product was worth every penny and exceeded my expectations, even with Goose Gear’s strong reputation. I firmly believe you get what you pay for, and I wouldn’t put a cheap product into an expensive truck. The added storage has made my camping trips far more organized and enjoyable. If you can give up some or all of your rear seat, the extra space is a game-changer. This definitely won’t be my last Goose Gear purchase.

Pros: Looks good. Full coverage. Seems pretty solid but we'll have to wait to see how it holds up over time. Instructions were pretty straightforward. Cons: Need to keep an allen key on ya to remove the 4 screws if you want to access the rear hatch where you keep the jack. Holes were a bit off and needed to be enlarged to get lined up. Whatever sealant/liner they used on the wood smells horrible. It's been installed for a few months now and the smell is still as strong as it was the day I put it in. Gonna need a bio bomb to rid of the smell. Overall I'm Neutral on the rear seat delete. I nor love it or hate it.

Overall, this is a good-quality product, though it isn’t perfect. It appears well-built and should last a long time, but after installation I was left feeling that the price was on the high side for what’s included. This may be one of the only products on the market that truly meets my specific needs, so there’s clearly a convenience factor at play. That said, for the cost, I think there’s room for improvement. Insulation really should be included, and some form of brackets or separators would help prevent the cabinets from banging into each other. Despite those points, I’m still happy with my setup and the functionality it provides. I plan to pull everything back out of my Jeep to add insulation and fine-tune the layout myself. While “you get what you pay for” might be a bit of a stretch here, the lack of comparable alternatives does make it a viable option. Update: If you have read all this, take a look at American Adventure labs as another option.
