Gorditas Don Elver

Delicious and affordable gorditas, fast and kind service. Great place for lunch or a quick stop on a road trip. We were taken care of quickly even though the place was busy. Highly recommend the al pastor with onions and cheese!

The food is good but every time I drive from Greenwood its a always a hit or miss on if they're open or not. Google will say they're open and they're not. They should fix their hours

The gorditas are very good. My favorite was the Verde in flour. Amazing flavor. Their green salsa is so good. The agua fresca we had was delicious. The gorditas are big. Fair prices. Will definitely be back. Good, fast service.

What tastes like herdez out the jar on chilaquiles with the rest of the plate out of a jar or box at this price hurts my soul. Unseasoned papas?? This joint, Garely's, Dona Anita's is what local latina women recommended to me... I'm done trying. Midland has no good Mexican food, it's all TexMex or shelf stable. Y'all are sweet, sorry for you to be the final target of my disappointment in this town.

This is the real deal, mexican comfort food at its best! Their homemade gorditas are beyond delicious, their aguas frescas are amazing and their service is fast and friendly and prices are affordable! They have a wide variety of fillings to choose from. The “sopita de la abuelita” it’s a must try, it truly reminded me of my mom’s fideo soup!

Excellent food. Really the best place in Midland for gorditas. Everyone is nice and the food comes out in good time. Would definitely recommend to everyone! Also, a great atmosphere here.

I tried the gorditas. The flavor is very good all around. The ladies at the desk were friendly and the food was out in a reasonable time. The prices on the menu are a bit too high but understandable, keeping in mind that everything is going up and it will continue to go up (thanks to Trump). I was looking for some good tasting gorditas, and this place didn't disappoint, so I definitely recommended it. 👍🏼

The service from the waiters they need better service They don't deserve one star

Walked in while charging my EV at Walmart. Friendly staff. Warm welcome. Speedy service. Plenty of seating. Great fideo as soup of the day - love a piping hot brothy soup! Yummy hot and flavorful chorizo and egg Gordita. Would absolutely come back when in the area again.
