Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips at Icon Park is a casual spot serving up fresh, crispy seafood combos and perfectly fried chips, with fun outdoor seating and friendly service.
"Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips is a fast-casual Wharf restaurant where you can find a decent cheap meal in one of the most expensive parts of town. The seafood spot serves basic combos that run about $20 and are some variety of fish, shrimp, chicken, and lobster with a side of fries. While the proteins can be hit (shrimp) or miss (lobster), they’re always deep fried and hot, which means they’re perfectly fine with a slathering of ketchup, cocktail sauce, or sriracha aioli. It’s a great place to wrangle hungry kids who are fed up with taking family pictures in front of the water. Grab a seat at one of the tables or take your Union-Jack-covered boxes of fried seafood to the outdoor courtyard right across the street to reminisce about better fried seafood days at the Wharf. Food Rundown Shrimp These are your best bet because the shrimp always tastes fresh and flavorful. They’re perfectly fried, with a thick crunchy coating while retaining plenty of hot juiciness (so be careful when you bite in). Lobster Lobster is hard to get right under the best of conditions, and deep frying halved pieces with the shell on isn’t the best of conditions. Skip this. photo credit: Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips Fish These fish stick-style pieces could just as easily be from the Gorton’s fisherman. But if you’re hungry and looking for a meal under $20, they’re straightforward, flaky, and get the job done. photo credit: Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips Fries You can grab these plain or get them dressed up with things like jalapeño, chorizo, and chives. While the dirty fries are fun in theory, the extra ingredients don’t add much flavor. Save your $3 and just get them plain." - Tristiaña Hinton
"This may sound strange, but you’re not actually coming here for the fish. It’s good, don’t get us wrong, but this British-themed spot in The Linq Hotel is worth visiting for the chips alone. There are four different options and our favorite is the Dirty #1, topped with crispy chorizo and jalapeño. The better idea, though, is to go with a group and share all of them. It’s a great place to get a quick bite before heading to a show across the street at Caesar’s Palace or a walk through the crowds down Las Vegas Boulevard. And just because we know you’re wondering, there are not any cutouts of your favorite guy who yells at people on TV." - Edward Thompson
