All of the New Hamptons Restaurants Opening in Summer 2025 | Eater NY

"A legendary East End dining wharf that first opened as a stand on the Montauk docks in 1943 and grew into a large waterfront location in the 1970s has been repurposed for a new French Mediterranean operator. The site’s long history as a waterfront destination and its 1970s expansion provide notable context for the incoming restaurant’s seaside setting." - Beth Landman

Stopped by Gosman’s Clam Bar for the view which was fantastic. The lobster salad roll and crispy seafood combo were just okay. Disappointed to find out they don’t have their alcohol license yet, even though beer is still listed on the menu. Worth it for the scenery, but the overall experience was underwhelming.

Google
Calamari 7/10 Blackened mahi mahi 9/10 Clam Plate 1/10 ( it's just fried bits from a bag) no bellys at all and no flavor, except the heavy corn breading

We wanted to go to the Topside, but was denied due to we have kids! Under 16 can't be up their. So we opted for the nice view / tables on the water. My wife's wine came out with lipstick on the rim. Our oysters were skinny and sad. My $44.00 Lobster Roll sandwich was ground lobster and a majority celery. Lobster bisque was cheesy I think...all in all we walked past The Dock and new we blew it not going into that place. Maybe tomorrow!?!?

Amy Fox

Google
A great spot to get a quick bite or a cocktail by the water. Whether you get table service from the friendly staff, or order at the window, you get fresh seafood and sushi while dining outside enjoying the ambiance

MIKE Mayers

Google
Fish and Chips were excellent and fresh. Calamari were good too. Fish Tacos were spicy not very large portion. Mussels in Wine sauce and tomato were ok too.

Google
Great view of the harbor, this place is the spot to watch boats and yachts sailing by. The seafood was fresh, we had a lobster 🦞and it was absolutely lovely.

Google
One of the prettiest spots in America! No matter what time of year, Spring Summer or Fall, grab a table on the corner that juts into the inlet and watch the fishing and pleasure boats sail in with their catch. Gosmans chowder is exceptional. A large, steaming cup, add some Tabasco to spice it up, enjoy! This year, a cup knocks in at a pricey $8. Kind of exorbitant, but when you enjoy it after a nice free outdoor concert in Gosmans green, and take in the free views, it's a very worthwhile splurge. No kids under 16 allowed upstairs.

Google
Love eating there. Fresh fresh beautiful relaxing view staff friendly. Also one of the kids dropped her wallet in the water and the owner of inlet restaurant radioed a boatsmen friend and sure enough they got it out of the water. Her dad just gave her $20 she felt so bad. But hooray worked out great Thanks again Catherine

Yelp
Topside is our first stop on vacation to Montauk. Yesterday afternoon was perfect !! Matt, the host, is so personable and really on his game. It was a beautiful day, we started with Prosecco and margarita and enjoyed the boats going in and out of the inlet. Starters were raw clams (so tiny- yum) and shrimp cocktail - big and fresh. Everything is artfully plated. As my favorite watermelon feta salad wasn't on the menu - actually a blessing - I tried the Lobster caprese salad and it was a miracle. I took a picture. My husband's fish and chips was hot, crunchy, and not greasy at all. Plenty of fries. A couple cocktails, beautiful scenery and a fantastic meal is the way that we jump start our Montauk trip. Highly recommend it. Note- there's a lot of talk about Gosmans just being sold blah, blah, blah. No worries the Topside hasn't changed a bit. No kids allowed- probably too dangerous. Not the worst idea for my serenity fix either. Cheers ! To the folks complaining about the price- you're in the wrong town. Topside is a treat for us, worth every penny !!

Yelp
Food was good but really expensive $40 Lobster Roll and $42.00 Lobster tacos.(The Lobster Tacos were really yummy) We expect higher prices in the area but this was pricey for a casual cafe on the inlet. The view of the harbor was nice we watched all the fishing boats come in. The service was good and the staff was very friendly. Update: I guess $40 Lobster Roll is the going price as two other restaurants in town also charged the same.

Yelp
We had a great outdoor lunch with a beautiful view after our visit to the Montauk Lighthouse. It was a warm sunny day and we were seated promptly on the dock under an umbrella, a perfect setting. Our server was pleasant and our drinks and food arrived in good time. We ordered a cup of New England Clam Chowder, a lobster roll and a 1 1/2 lb broiled lobster and were not disappointed. The chowder, although a little thinner than we were use to, was very flavorful with plenty of clams. The lobster roll was stuffed with lobster. It was prepared cold as a salad with mayo and celery. Be sure to take note as we had lobster rolls elsewhere that were served hot with butter. My broiled lobster had a seafood breadcrumb stuffing that was delicious. It was served perfectly with a nice brown top and had little shrimps in the stuffing. The lobster was very sweet and meaty. Our server returned several times to check on us and refill water. Our meals came with fries that tasted homemade. We had no room left for dessert. All in all it was a meal for the memory book! So glad we made the stop.

Yelp
Topside 2025 is the Gosman's we know and love, unchanged for the better. Lobster Bisque good as ever, Lobster Caprese with huge chunks of delicious tender lobster meat. We even enjoyed the new (to me) kale salad. Service was excellent, and everything seems better from up high looking at the water. Always a wonderful experience!

Yelp
A local institution. Big venue with lots of seats and good views of the inlet and boats. Food is ok, you pay a bit extra for the name and the location. Lots of parking available.

Laura M.

Yelp
I would rather try to fish for my own food than eat here again. Watered down drinks for two (that arrived after our dinner), soggy fish and chips and a prison food bowl of lobster bisque. All for the bargain price of $165 for two! Insanely bad service to boot. Abysmal.

Yelp
It's over guys, this place is in the tank. I say that ONLY when absolutely positively necessary.. Hit up Montauk for my mothers birthday. For early dinner late lunch knew Gosman's would be reliable for outdoor dining on the water... lets' go! An hour later we are all sick. I knew the chowders both looked gummed up and one was LUKE warm in summer.. Not ideal when temperature is everything in food service safety. Fish and chips seeeeemed like cooked in old oil based on the amount of absorbed oil and not bright color of the fried outside... I know fresh fried oil because I am a super fan of Bigelows in RVC for that very reason.. always changing always fresh. No call to BOH... try not to be a jerk... if we lived. Did call the restaurant first thing next day, insisted on a manager... and spoke to 4 times.. not once.. four times.... They insisted they would take care of the food issue... and we told them no refund needed on the whole meal... just the soups... why? Stupid.... we felt bad they were seasonal and hate being mean. So these meatheads said ok we will refund the two soups that made you sick.. and went on to look it up and insisted they couldnt find the ticket... and called and left messages 4 times back and forth needed cc number.. Ok so we kept calling back and each time... kept missing each other..... Finally one person said... they took care of it and had the cooks throw out the old soup.. No refund, no 5th call back.. Just an outright food hazard, disorganized young managers... and not somewhere to eat food with your parents.. Stick to drinks and watch your back here. Gosman's is officially not the Gosman's you knew and loved.

Yelp
Bagatelle at Gosman's Montauk needs to close. Like shut down. It is bad there. No vibe, no service, no hospitality. Not crowded but had a 9:15 res and waited until 10:15 to get seated and never did. It was our fault for waiting because we should have immediately walked out after seeing how low grade the entire establishment was my sincerest recommendation for them is to shut down. Quit while you're behind. Spare yourself from getting infinitely more bad reviews on Yelp. A waste of my Saturday night but I feel like I'm performing an act of community service by warning fellow Yelpers from wasting their time and money at this place that should shut down. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Yelp
You like boats? This place is just opposite of Inlet...so boats views are great! Don't go for the food...go for the views of the boats. Service is ok not great...but the views of the boats are amazing! The end.

Yelp
Tried this place with my friend when we were visiting during the summer and we loved it! We were new to the area and didn't really know where to go and we stumbled upon this place. Really nice views of the ocean and boats coming in. They had a very mellow vibe! We stayed here for probably 2 hours enjoying a few courses here and there of a variety of seafood. Everything was fresh and great. The service was so great and everyone working seemed so happy! I will say I think we overstayed our welcome because after a couple hours I had an important phone call and they seemed to be annoyed that we asked for a different table with a quieter setting but other than that everybody else was Amazing!

Yelp
We ate lunch outside on the upper deck. It was a perfect day in September. The food was great. The lobster caprese salad was amazing, with lots of lobster. The view was perfect, right in the water. Service was wonderful.

Yelp
3pm on a Saturday and they are turning away customers in droves telling them they can't be seated. No wait times offered and the tables aren't full. During a 20 minute period I watched the a young man with long hair running the floor tell 30+ customers they were at capacity with not enough staff and that they wouldn't be able to be seated. I have never seen a restaurant turn away business in the middle of a sunny Saturday afternoon, with many many tables available. Management is either not making the right call or completely unaware of what is going on here. Tried to order from their "to-go" window, 30 minute wait for a drink with 4 customers. Really sad to see such a missed opportunity.

Yelp
Food was absolutely abysmal. Do not order seafood here. Tacos were about a tablespoon of fish. Terrible. Waiter was nice, but just no quantity or quality to the food.

Lani H.

Yelp
Gosman's used to be an excellent restaurant - great food, wide selection. Not any more. My wife and I ate there Friday August 16 and were sorely disappointed. First off, the menu has been reduced to several uninspired choices (hmmm, how difficult is pan-seared halibut?). My wife wanted pasta and at the waiter's suggestion she ordered shrimp scampi. After two bites she said the pasta had probably been sitting in the fridge for several days - it was certainly not fresh. I ordered twin grilled lobster tails ($55) and received two four ounce tails - along with plain everyday french fries. No vegetable, not even a garnish. If I am going to spend over $200 on a meal, I expect it to be spectacular. Obviously being a tourist restaurant Gosman's is not interested in building a clientele. It saddens me to know that a once great restaurant has become one of the worst places to eat in Montauk.

Yelp
On my trip to Montauk needed to get something before the trek back, and tried my hand at seafood. The sashimi eel was a good choice, but would have like it smoked. Regardless-- it was just the right size to be a snack, and didn't taste like "too much". However, ya do gotta pay a bit for that. Given this was a trip, I was ok with it but would recommend to anyone reading, you'd be better off with ice cream.

Yelp
Ceviche, kale salad, and 2 sushi rolls for lunch. What a great outdoor spot for lunch., on the water. Lobster tacos looked amazing.

Yelp
Once upon a time, in the summer of 1977, Greg and his group of friends decided to let loose and have an unforgettable night at Gosman's in Montauk. The stars sparkled brightly overhead as they stepped into the buzzing atmosphere of the iconic restaurant. The night started innocently enough, with laughter, camaraderie, and endless rounds of drinks. The disco beats echoed throughout the venue, inviting everyone to dance and celebrate life. As the hours passed, the energy escalated, and Greg found himself fully immersed in the euphoria of the party. Unbeknownst to Greg, he had consumed a bit more than he could handle, and the drinks began to cloud his judgment. With inhibitions cast aside, he started to take part in daring stunts and even attempted a moonwalk across the dance floor, drawing cheers and applause from the crowd. However, as the night wore on, Greg's antics became riskier and more outrageous. He climbed on top of tables, attempted to recreate the famous John Travolta dance moves, and even led a conga line through the restaurant, much to the amusement of some and the concern of others. The restaurant staff tried their best to manage the situation, but Greg's party spirit was unstoppable. Unfortunately, his exuberance led to accidental spills and minor damages, and some patrons began to express their discontent with the disruptions. It wasn't long before the local authorities were alerted about the chaotic scene at Gosman's. Montauk's police officers arrived to restore order and ensure everyone's safety. As the music faded, the flashing lights of police cars illuminated the parking lot. Greg's wild night of partying had come to an unexpected halt, and he found himself face-to-face with the stern but understanding police officers. After assessing the situation, they made the decision to detain Greg and a few of his rowdier friends for the night. Inside the confines of the jail cell, the reality of their actions began to sink in. What was meant to be a night of celebration had turned into a series of regrettable decisions. As the night turned to dawn, Greg and his friends reflected on the events that led them to this predicament. The next day, they were released with a warning and a reminder to party responsibly. The escapade at Gosman's had left them with a cautionary tale to share, one that would be retold with a mix of laughter and humility in the years to come. From that night onwards, Greg learned to cherish the memories of wild partying but also understood the importance of moderation and respect for others while having fun. Gosman's remained a symbol of their youthful adventures, and whenever they returned, they would raise a toast to the unforgettable night that landed Greg and his friends in jail--a night they'd never forget.

Yelp
10/10 would recommend - fish was insanely fresh and Gosman's is where all the locals eat and grab there fish for their restaurants. Low key- no kids upstairs - freshest lobsters you can get!

Yelp
We rented bikes and rode from the center of Montauk to the lighthouse and this shopping center. Lots of outdoor seating on the harbor and cute little shops nearby (retail, ice cream and seafood). They cleaned tables after patrons left too, which we appreciated. Service is really quick too! Worth a stop.

Yelp
This place was amazing! We came on a Saturday night and were confused by the emptiness of it at first, but the fog and cool weather definitely kept people away. We got sat right away on the top deck overlooking the water and I imagine on a sunny day the sunset there is perfect. Our waiter was awesome and service was impeccable. For food we got the lobster caprese, oysters, fish tacos, and fish & chips - all so delicious. We can't say enough good things about our dinner here! The drinks were also top notch. HIGHLY recommend coming here.

Yelp
Great view and location on the water by the beach in Montauk. Recommend the lobster roll, it was excellent. Fish n chips was also very good, would order both again and will be back next time we are in East Hampton.

Yelp
Correction: This Review is re Gosman's Seafood Restaurant not Gosman's Top Inlet & Bar: I ate @this restaurant on Thursday, Early Evening of 8/15/24. Food was Good. Service by Male Waiter-Excellent. Ambiance Very Nice Indoors with beautiful views of Montauk Harbor as different size boats/yachts came into the Harbor. What did upset me was the condition of the Woman's Bathrm. After I finished my meal, I went into the bathrm and was appalled by the horrible condition Toilet Paper ,on the floor in each stall, near the garbage receptacle. So many used paper towels were on top of one of these receptacles, you couldn't see the opening. I was so upset with the terrible condition of this bathrm that I went & spoke to a young woman who appeared to have some Supervisory Position @ this Restaurant. She Went into the Bathrm and with her Bare Hands Pushed the Overflow of Used Paper Towels Down Inside the Receptacle. She did not wash her hands or address the condition of the Bathrm. Floor & Walked Out!!! I was so upset that I could not even speak. However I am Speaking Now thru this Yelp Review. I want & I'm sure All Customers want to be Able to Use A Clean Bathrm/Restrm Before or After Their Meal!! Suggestions: (1)Install Hand Dryers/Get Rid of Paper Towels; (2) Assign A Staff Worker to Maintain/Clean Restaurant Bathrm/Restrm.(Not just when the Restaurant Opens/Closes!!!! I'm Sure this Restaurant Would Not Want the Suffolk County Health Dept to Make an Unannounced Inspection and Find the Woman's Bathroom in Such a Deplorable Condition!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Lovely servers helped us with a very large group. One of us in a large heavy wheelchair. Gracious snd thoughtful service

Justine M.

Yelp
The burger was tasty. We found this spot needing to take our friends who had never been to Montauk because we had a dog with us. We showed up right at opening but all of us were confused how the food was barely warm despite it being the start of the day. Confusing and wouldn't return.

Yelp
The inlet cafe is a part of the Gosman complex in Montauk. This restaurant runs along the waterfront right at the inlet to Montauk harbor. The tables are inside or out with outside being the preferable seating. There is a canvas covering to keep rain, sun or seagulls from being a problem. Sitting at your table boats of all sizes from rigged out professional fishermen to the smallest pleasure boat glide on by and you can exchange friendly wave with the crews. What to eat here ? You don't come here for a fancy, upscale meal go over to La Fin if that is what you are looking for. The Inlet cafe is the perfect spot to eat Lobster rolls. The view, the briny air and a Montauk beer and a Lobster roll. I don't care if there are better rolls somewhere in Montauk there is not a better place than here to truly enjoy one.

Richard Z.

Yelp
I have no problem with what restaurants charge, but a glass of wine should be a better pour. It seemed like 4 oz.

Yelp
Updating review: Gosman's has multiple choices for dining. This listing covers two: Inlet (not to be confused with the Inlet Cafe, which is conveniently across the inlet from Gosman's) and Topside Topside: Walk up two flights and you arrive at Gosman's Topside. Nice view of MTK Inlet. Only a few tables, there is also a bar. Children and pets are not allowed. We went on a Sunday night around 8 PM, in Aug, no reservation and were seated right away at the far East corner table. Perfect - most requested table. Menu is similar to Gosman's Inlet, but no sushi. We had: Sesame tuna - so good! Best meal of the night. Cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly. Burgers - slightly over done Classic Cesar with shrimp - was ok. Service was ok. This place is all about location! Review for Gosman's Inlet: Another year in MTK, another fab meal at Gosman's Inlet. Arrived at 6:30, lots of tables. While I didn't think they took reservations, they do for parties of 6 or more. Great location, food, and service. Tonight our crew had: Oysters - omg so good, local, fresh, sweet with a little salt. Best oysters I had in a while! Fish tacos - light, very filling Baked clams - more clam than breading Lobster - local and fresh And of course sushi - fresh. I almost hesitated writing this review bc I don't want to share this place. Enjoy!

Yelp
I originally had another one of the Gosman's restaurants in mind while here for the day with my family, but this needed up being very nice. The views are superb. Sit on the outside dock area and watch all of the fishing boats and ridiculous yachts go by on Montauk Lake. While you can get sushi here, I stuck with an east-end staple, the lobster roll. It came as an open faced roll with two scoops of lobster salad. The roll itself was not buttery or seasoned at all, which was disappointing. The lobster salad was good. It was fresh. But there were small chunks of lobster, while I usually prefer larger pieces.

Yelp
Gosman's Topside offers an excellent view overlooking the inlet into Montauk Lake. It's really the best feature of this place and the reason I rate it so high. The Inlet cafe is downstairs with the same menu, but also offers sushi. Topside is the best during the day because at night time they keep the tables fairly dark. You'll probably need a flashlight to see what you are eating. It was the last night of the season so I am sure they were cleaning out the fridge, many of the taps empty or certain beers unavailable. With that in mind they were offering the sushi menu upstairs. I avoided most seafood on the menu opting for the burger ($18! + $2 for a slice of cheese) and the lobster bisque. The burger was large, but a bit flavorless - could use some char, or browning on a flat top. They have good fries. I found most of the other food rather ho-hum, perhaps because it was the last day. Lobster roll has way too much celery, onions and peppers, which is 3 items too many! A good lobster roll really should be dressed simply with mayo or butter to let the lobster shine. Step-dad didn't enjoy his shrimp risotto much - he ate the shrimp hardly touched the rice. Mom liked the crabcake - she wisely opted only for an app. Food is pricey! You pay a premium for those views, but there is Gin Beach across the inlet meant for locals, but on Columbus Day Weekend it's fairly empty and not an issue. I would come back to Topside for the view with some drinks, maybe some apps. Eat a full meal elsewhere especially at the end of the season.

Yelp
Ok, not bad, but I think, for us, this was more of a "Destination" than an actual go-to dining experience, if that makes any sense. We had already eaten a late lunch at the Light House (not bad at all!!) and just wanted drinks here, but were told that we'd have to order food if we wanted to sit outside/upstairs. Understandable, esp. at the early hours of probably a busy Friday evening. We were headed for a long ride back home, and wanted to experience the GORGEOUS sunset, so we ordered apps., a flatbread pizza and a salad, which were both good, but... not exactly earth-shattering. This was a classic three star experience, fine, but not STELLAR. Service was good, we didn't feel rushed, prices were (I guess) on par with other places in the area, but other than the great view (which WAS nice, but probably just as great elsewhere here on the water, I'm guessing...) not exactly the highlight of our trip out east, but fine nonetheless...

Rosa M.

Yelp
We went to this nice restaurant to celebrate Father's Day. It was a perfect day and they sat us outside. It was our 2nd time there. I remember the fish was excellent as well as our other dishes. This time flute was in the specials and we ordered it. We both ordered it and the kids had great pasta with kids menu. My daughter ordered the tuna tartar and she loved it. Everything was very fresh and quantity was enough to share. The flute came with rice and veggies. We had a delightful evening. It was definitely one of the best fishes I ever had Our waitress was very polite and courteous. She took the orders and food came pretty fast. We can sit inside with AC or outside. We sat outside and weather was cool We really like the food and will definitely go back again.
google avatar

Kathy W.

Yelp
We stopped into Gosmans dock to check out the area and I was shocked to see it was completely empty. Hardly anyone walking around and many of the stores had closed up shop, even the ice cream shop (which was always my kids favorite) is closed. We decided to get take out as it was getting chilly. We ordered the lobster tacos to go from Topside. If it was sunny and warmer i would most definitely sit up top on the rooftop patio and enjoy the beautiful view. The waitress at the takeout window was very sweet and patient as we decided. OMG the lobster tacos were awesome. Literally the best!!! There was a ton of lobster and the slaw was delicious!! Will definitely be back at Topside next time in town. Hopefully the next time we are back in Montauk, Gosmans will be back in all its glory and this restaurant will remain open because i seriously annoy wait to go back and enthuse delicious tacos!!!

Julia S.

Yelp
I don't even know where to begin. this place is designed like a maze. when my party was first seated, we were put by the door/facilities, and i asked that we be moved. everything was going fine until after my party and I paid for the bill. We went to the restrooms as we were about to have a long trip home ahead of us. Upon coming out of the restrooms we were greeted by our sever, visibility angry. He threw the bill down and explained that we hadn't paid enough, to which i responded that we wouldn't leave until we had it all figured out and we would surely pay, and yet his attitude and tone only augmented. we handed him the rest of the money we owed and explained that we were sorry to which he complained about a "rush" and stormed off. The next day I called, only for the same man to hang up on me. Bill, if you're reading this, you need to learn better customer service etiquette. While his frustration was understandable there was no reason for him to completely loose it on customers. Our intention was never to short this business. If you want good food for a reasonable price, as well as good customer service, i advise DON'T EVEN BOTHER! We spent 70$ and change on three of their smallest meals, and water (which is free) In my own experience I wouldn't have treated someone like that, no matter the circumstance. Do better.

Ronald S.

Yelp
you go to the topside for the view of the water and the boats coming in and out- imo, the best view in montauk- the food is 'passable' , if u want gourmet , go elsewhere - if u want a basic burger, i am told the lobster tacos are really good, the topside is the place...
google avatar

Matt G.

Yelp
Didnt try any food but is a nice spot to hang outside and have a drink at. Bartender was very nice and views were great. They had a nice drink menu and they were made perfectly.

Joanne D.

Yelp
I hesitate to write this as this is a hidden gem I don't want to ever change. Topside is a slice of heaven that is located at one of the prettiest sites I've ever been. Watch the boats come and go as you enjoy the most delicious food and excellent service. If your lucky, you can get a seat in the bar area and have Julie or Aaron make your cocktails. They are both so much fun. I have been going for years and have never been disappointed
google avatar

Tara L.

Yelp
Really good food and service, nice on the water, just pricey! The lobster roll had great quality lobster meat, the spicy tuna sushi roll was great, and I could've eaten ten of the shrimp gyoza!

Scott A.

Yelp
Really meh. Great views, nice location, bright welcoming dining room. Food was really really mediocre. My wife and I split baked clams. Strongly suggest skipping this. Tasted like mayonnaise and bread crumbs. Texture was really off. We both got the 1 1/4 lb lobster with baked potato. Who microwaves a baked potato for a $40 entree? It was so obviously not cooked properly and just awful. The lobsters were good. Service was so-so. We waited quite a while to be acknowledged and place drink orders but once we got started with our waiter, things got better. I will not be back. its not worth the $100+ price tag for two people.
google avatar

Regina E.

Yelp
Whoever the woman bartender was today was rude as anything. We would have stayed and spent our money there but nothing turns a customer off like a bad attitude and shitty service. Plenty of places that will be happy to not only serve drinks but be friendly to the customers while doing so.
google avatar

Juju W.

Yelp
Came here on a windy day that turned dining here, not a good choice. The top deck did provide good views though. My lobster bisque was luke warm and the lobster roll was disappointing. No big chunks. Not much lobster. It was served on a plain cold roll, not toasted w butter like I had expected. Better choices elsewhere for pricey lobster roll.
google avatar

Cookie B.

Yelp
Should probably branch out but we eat here every time we go to Montauk! Food is fresh and delicious.

Yelp
Wow...I can't believe I haven't been here since my last review, but every time I go to Gossman's I usually eat in their restaurant. I am so happy I rediscovered this place! The view is amazing and the food, exceptional! There was a little bit of a wait because of the limited seating these days, but it was definitely worth it! Their calamari is cooked to perfection, so light and crispy! I had the blackened Shrimp risotto which was probably the best I ever had! My mom had the fish and chips which were also perfect...crispy, flaky fish, not greasy, and really great french fries! I also was impressed with the wines they had on the menu. Good prices and nice wines. Our server was also awesome and I'm sorry I can't remember her name, but everyone there was just so friendly and accommodating. The view is also absolutely beautiful! Looking forward to next season :-)

Yelp
Visited on a Tuesday afternoon. Not busy at all. Got a seat on the deck by the water. You order by the window and take your seat. The FISH and Chips was outstanding. Not over fried or over battered. Nice view of the inlet to the docks and of the ships coming and going. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
An expensive joint with beautiful views. Food was sub-par especially for the prices paid. Our four person party had food that ran the gamut from pretty good to terrible. $10 bottles of wine were going for $50. Service was just so-so. I thought our waitress was surly and barely adequate. Along with the high prices are cheap paper napkins and paper cups for water glasses. If you don't mind being fleeced for a nice view of the inlet, this place is for you.

Yelp
Love the views and casual food. Today I stopped by for lunch and ordered delicious oysters, Mahi mahi tacos and friend clam strips. Ate outside and enjoyed the gorgeous views.

Yelp
Overpriced, average service. Location is great on the water. Worst New England clam chowder I have ever had. One little piece of fish in each of the fish tacos.

Yelp
My family and I spent Memorial Day weekend in Montauk, and grabbed a quick lunch here on our second day. Their outdoor seating right by the water is calm and relaxing, especially with the view of all the boats sailing by. The warm, sunny weather with a slight breeze was perfect for sipping on some refreshing summer ales from the local Montauk Brewing Company. My tuna poke was very fresh and tasty, but came in such a small portion with mostly leafy garnish at the bottom of the serving bowl to make it look like it had more substance. Their lobster rolls were quite lacking in flavor, as well, and definitely not worth $29. Beware: This place is a tourist trap.

Yelp
Beautiful view and cold drinks but the food is lacking based on the price that is charged. An order of calamari contains more fried peppers than seafood, and the scallop polenta special I ordered was served cold. The New England clam chowder was the one "worth the price" menu item we ordered. I would go back to Enjoy the views/sunset up top at the bar with a drink but pass on dinner.

Yelp
Food was really delicious and the view was beautiful. Food came out fresh and hot. I felt that the service was a bit rushed, the waitress took my things before I was really finished. Interestingly, I didn't see her do that so much with other tables.
