here is what you need to know before coming to this location finding it is 80% of the battle and then finding parking but once you accomplish those two things it is so worthwhile as their little hole in the wall family owned and operated they do chicken wings and waffles in one of their highlights is especially on weekends they stay open late for adults to hang out and more also keep in mind it only have one restroom and it is a small location with limited indoor dining area that being said it's more of a pickup to go location with what the owner said was over 50 choices to choose from from your chicken wings count to combined with your signature waffle that they make and that is what makes this place so special and different tried the occasion ring and our barbecuing and a parmesan wing and they also make everything in house even their ranch which was absolutely delicious and went well with all the wings reasonably priced their wings are actually a great value for the bang for the bud cuz they're actually large wings not small wings which is a big big highlight here I want to point out I will definitely be back to twice some of their spicier flavors along with their waffles! also they have things for the daytime for the kids and family which I've highlighted in my pictures including all kinds of little props and things you can take pictures with with the family and enjoy when they're not too busy :) handicap accessible but once again just keep in mind getting here and then finding parking cuz it's a shared parking with like 10 other locations in this little shopping area and makes it a little tricky to get in and out of here but once you can get here and find it so totally worth it and highly recommend it :)

Love this place! Great food and the staff is always welcoming and friendly! Which is a big plus for me. I only ever get the food to go but it looks like a great place to sit down and eat as well. The food is always made fresh, wings nice and crispy. Even their waffles are amazing! Definitely check this place out

Food was amazing! The fried waffle tasted just like a funnel cake 🧇 and the chicken tenders were perfect. Lost a star for not having any water and the lobby had little to no air circulation.(Also recommend the lobster Mac,chicken wings, and dirty rice)

Love love love!! Definitely recommend. The customer service plus amazing food 10/10 recommend. I got the crispy buffalo wings with lemon pepper seasoning on top, was delicious, and big wings.

Finally got out to the Gossip Shack to try their chicken wings and they did not disappoint. The only things that could’ve been better are the texture of the waffle, maybe unavoidable since it’s put inside of the to-go container underneath everything else and I guess the steam makes the waffle all soft and floppy it loses its crisp. Also, it’s not real maple syrup with the waffle. I ordered “THE BOMB” flavor wings which is savory/sweet not sure how to describe it but it lived up to its name it is the bomb. I love good onion rings and these are some delicious soft-crunchy battered thick slices of onion. I took a peek at the order before my drive home and was a little underwhelmed at the portion given the price so I was hoping that the quality and flavor would be on point and it certainly is. I’ll be going back to try out more wing flavors in the future!!

New to TX so we are always exploring the many restaurants. My husband found this place and we decided to give it a try. Drove about 20 minutes around 1pm on a Tuesday. Not busy at all, but they had several online orders ahead of us. Greeted right as we came in. She asked if we had ever been there before, we said no and she proceeded to describe the food options. She said a lot because there are a lot of options for flavors . We decided on the 6 wing combo, I got dirty rice and my husband got fries. I got garlic parmasean and jerk, my husband got jalepeno CPR and he couldn't remember the other. We also got a waffle on the side and he got banana pudding. The wait was about 20min but All of the food was good! Fresh and flavorful! The cost was typical for what we got. The atmosphere was great, nice chill RandB playing on this day. We will go back! This was my first time trying Gossip Shack, and I was seriously impressed. The wings were super flavorful, crispy, and juicy—definitely lived up to the hype. I loved the variety of flavors, and the seasoning was on point. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors!

Came here at the suggestion of my son. Food was great. We ordered Tenders, wings, lobster Mac and brisket Mac. All on point. The owner also brought us a sample of deep fried biscuits with hot honey and ones with garlic parm. So good!

I needed a little nourishment to power through Black Friday sales. Of course, I was I my element. Shopping....deep discounts, you know the drill. smile. However, I needed some food before hitting the sales. Gossip Shack 2 is located on Grand Avenue Parkway in Pflugerville, TX, to the rescue to fulfill my food needs. This was my first visit. I got the opportunity to meet Michael Blaylock, the owner. I asked him about the origin of the name. He mentioned the trifecta 1) biblical based in that he wants to spread the news about his business very much like evangelism was spread. 2) he wants his business to be a place where families come together to talk and play games...enjoy themselves and 3) at catchy title for the young peeps (people). I ordered CPR (Cajun, Parmesan & Ranch) chicken wings and a waffle OMG!!! They have the best wings I've ever eaten. The chicken wings were lightly crispy with the Cajun Parmesan one two punch. Amazing!!! The waffle was flavorful and soft. It was delightful to talk to the owner and hear the history of the restaurant.

My son and I stopped at this little shop after deciding it sounded better than our original plan. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who walked us through the menu and helped us decide what we wanted. I got three strips and waffle. I got honey garlic strips,and plenty of in-house made ranch dressing. When the food arrived, the smell made my mouth start watering. The chicken strips were huge, well-seasoned, and tender. Combined with the ranch dressing, it was incredible. The waffle, while not crisp, had a savory/sweet flavor. I was only able to eat half of my food, so I brought it home for my husband. My son got the monte cristo. Delicious! We both had a glass of peach-mango lemonade. Delightful! The only thing that could affect our positive experience is that it was quite toasty in the building. I had a fan in my purse that we set up and it made all the difference in our comfort level. We will definitely be revisiting Gossip Shack 2.

You ever crave wings? Me too. Ever disappointed by the chain restaurants? Me too. Food quality and consistency has been on a downward trend it seems for a few years now with chain wing restaurants. Prices went up though. If I'm paying a premium, then I expect a premium product. I was nearby during a lunch. I hadn't been in the area around lunch for a while so I stopped in to get a bite. Every time I've been in the staff is always awesome and service is fast. There is a smallish dining area with low tables and bar height tables. I ordered the 6 pc wings in buffalo lemon pepper with dirty rice. Maaaaaan... I've yet to be disappointed. This was no exception. There are other options, but I've only ever had the wings. I can't speak for anything else on the menu, but I'm willing to bet everything is to the same standard or excellence.

Okay so I found the secret!!! You gotta order the wings regular and get the sauces on the side to control the saltiness!! The waffle was TRASH!! I was throughly pissed off for wasting this man's money on that. It was NOT fried, no butter or powdered sugar Although I ordered through DoorDash the service was awesome! I called in with a million questions about the many different flavors and the young lady that answered the phone was very patient and willing to help. This is definitely my favorite wing spot in Austin (when I'm not looking for Korean fried chicken)

Incredible wings. Best I've ever had hands down. Try any sauce and its going to be good. Unfortunately, no matter how crowded they are, expect 20/30 more minutes more than what they gave you on the phone. It has never once been ready when I show up no matter how long I wait.

10/10 so many flavors. We got the wings and waffles as well for the wings and fries. THE SERVICE AMAZINGGGGG. We will be coming back and recommending. They have games to play and MUSIC??? A vibe

Small businesses I might go to spots honestly I prefer them every single time over Big name restaurants it's hard to find a terrible small business restaurant as most of the time everything is made with love and usually family own and family ran my wife and I are new to the Pflugerville area and we're pretty beat and tired so we decided to try something local and gossip shack looked promising as the wings look great and the reviews are outstanding, but we learned quickly. The things were not what they seemed to be their pricing is higher than average, which is understandable for a small business as margins are cut through there are flavored choices were overwhelming which made it a bit unpleasant simplicity is key when it comes to the restaurant Business I will start by saying my wife did not finish not one wing as I ended up having to get her McDonald's across the street. We took our first bite in the vehicle and the food was already cold as we did pick up and arrived on time. The wings were extremely large but resembled a brand new pair of Goodyear tires I managed to scavenge through my wings and pull off the edible parts as most parts of the wings were extremely chewy. There is not much detail to give as the experience was short-lived and underwhelming. The french fries were extremely over seasoned floppy, and the texture was just off. Imagine Bitting into a banana that's as best as I can describe it as as I always say, please make your own opinion as this was just my experience. I hope you have a good day.

The food was good, the only complaint I hated was the wait time. The plus to this is that they have games and the tables foe you to play while you wait. I got the lemon pepper fried fish. I would definitely go back.

Heard about this place through some clients and had to try it out. They sent me to a good spot. I ordered the 6 wings with waffle and a side of fries. I went for the wings specifically and they didn't disappoint. I got the garlic Parmesan and garlic hot. Both had great flavor. The fries were really good too. Only complaint is the cold and tough waffle. I tried to eat that first thinking it'd be nice and warm. Not even close. As for the staff they were great. Super helpful and even over heard them helping another first timer. Let him taste test the sauce before he chose. I'd recommend the wings for sure! And I'll definitely be coming back to try it again. They have a lot of wing flavors to choose from.

Dropped in for a togo order! Had this place a few months ago -- loved it then and love it now! I'm a sweet and savory type of person, so I LOVE the Herdy Bird. Venturing out for something new, I ordered 3 Sweet Hell Wings. They're spicy but not in an overbearing way. The sauce pulls everything together so well. Those Sweet Hell Wing's definitely got the hell part right because they're hot!!! The dry heat just really accentuates the spice with an air of sweetness. Ambiance is personable. It's more known for the food than the friendliness. Wait time for food is not long if it's not busy but if it is, wait time and response time from the front counter might be long. I think it's worth the wait! ps. tried the rumble jumble-- it kind of tastes like blueberry syrup meets chicken ‍

Have to give this place another visit as hadn't visited in a few years (too busy and pricey). Food quality was always top notch in both taste and variety. I'll report on my latest visit soon.

The food and drinks were absolutely incredible 10/10!! I had the three-piece chicken and waffle Herdy Bird, and it did not disappoint. The service was amazing everyone was so helpful and sweet. The interior was the cutest thing ever!!! They have fun games around to keep you entertained while you wait, a photo wall and the music truly touches the soul and sets the mood. I always have a great experience here. Food is always fresh & the staff are always very pleasant & down to earth. Very good hospitality. & my food always comes out in a timely manner.

If you don't hit up Gossip Shack, you're missing out. The wings with bustdown sauce and fried pickles are delicious. But LET ME TELL YOU, that banana pudding is everything.

Gossip Shack was soo good! 9.8/10!!! Got it pretty late night and still such fresh chicken! Preferred the wings over the tenders but would go back for both! Loved both sauces (bustdown on the wings, CPR on the tenders). The Mac is made fresh daily, since we went so late I probably wouldn't get that late night. So many sauce flavors and different options! The service was great, the girls were super helpful with explaining the menu and checking in on our food. Great ambiance too with the music and games. Such a vibe and chill spot with good food!

This wasn't my first time coming to Gossip Shack, however the previous time I came they were having issues that evening in getting orders out--waited one hour before finally leaving. That being said, I decided to try my luck again since I was in the area. The staff were very nice and greeted me right when I entered. I ordered food to go, which was a mistake on my end. My 30 minute drive back to Manor definitely impacted the quality of the food (I hope). By the time I got home my fries were very soggy and flimsy, and the wings I ordered--lemon pepper and Parmesan--were a little chewy. Flavors were definitely there, but the food wasn't the same when needing to be reheated and all. I don't recommend takeout if you live further than Round Rock or past Parmer Ln going South. I'll take the blame for how the food ended up tasting, so I'll definitely update this review if I'm able to eat at the restaurant or nearby and my assumptions are correct. Will be back when I'm in the area again.

Gossip shack is an all time classic in central Texas with fried delicacies seasoned to perfection. The operation is family run and has friendly staff, we ordered online and waited around but it was well worth it fresh out of the grease. Enjoyed the catfish and shrimp meal, and really loved the wings fried to perfection with the Cajun lemon pepper. They have so many flavors to choose from you can't go wrong. The Cajun Parmesan's ranch (CPR) and bbq bustdown also were stellar!

Best wings in greater Austin area; Cajun Parmesan. The wings were hot, crispy, flavorful, and juicy. My only complaint on the first visit was that I didn't get a larger order. Now I have to share with the wife!

Visiting from Charlotte, in town for Afrotech but staying near by. After looking for chicken wings this place looked flavorful and so I ordered online for pick up. I ordered fried fish, a waffle, lemon pepper garlic wings and fries. Food was ready when I arrived and everything was flavorful. I enjoyed the taste of the fish it had great flavor. The wings were great too. I was quite full so are my waffle later and after warming up it was great too. May stop by again before I leave but great work.

Update: there is sometimes a boneless option. That's good! However, I've noticed a few times I've tried to order ahead and they do not have boneless as a choice. Additionally there are times when their ranch is not homemade which is a deal breaker for me. Otherwise, the employees are always very sweet and they're clearly working hard.

Lived down the street from this place a few years and finally was in the mood for some wings so stopped finally to give them a try. Did a to go order. First off was greeted very kindly and given some great recommendations since it was my first time. Came out in about 15 min. Not long at all in my book. Means everything was fresh made. Sat down at home and ate the wings. And will say didn't disappoint at all. Exactly what I was craving. Got the buffalo lemon pepper and the honey garlic. Both great choices. And great size wings. Would recommend to anyone. Much love

Dope 5 star wings and onion rings. Dropped a star for ridiculously high prices and extremely confusing flavor options. One sentence or even just a word would go a long way. What the hell is Kenya, WWW, Monte Cristo, Bustdown, GSO, Bomb etc?? Which ones are saucey and which ones are dry rubs? Wouldn't know from the menu. Btw, Bustdown is a wet BBQ sauce and Kenya is a wet hot sauce type. Both are pretty good.

This was my first time visiting. The owner was in and noticed right away it was our first time in. He walked us through the menu. The food was hot and fresh when we received it. I hate we didn't capture pictures but we tried the fish, wings, shrimp, dirty rice and fried Oreos. Everything was well seasoned and really flavorful. Oh and the vibe was bomb, 90s RnB makes everything better. Would def come back!!

I have been ordering here for a while and the food and customer service is always memorable. Would recommend calling ahead if you are in a rush. My go to is the GSO Tangy and Buffalo Lemon Pepper with a purpleade!

I didn't even get to try the food, i walked in and the two lady's in the back kept staring at me literally telling me to hurry up, they kept laughing and glaring at me acting like i wasn't worth the time. I wanted food, i had a long day at work, i was hungry, its a spot i haven't tried before. When i walked in i wasn't greeted, i wasn't told welcome in. The two ladies were on their phone connected to a bluetooth speaker, which isn't bad in my opinion, but you could tell she was texting cause you could hear the ios text noises (the bubble pops) When i went to the tablet to order, yes it was a tablet, the rude lady in the back said to hurry up cause i got ten minutes, mind you the apple maps and the website says they close at 12 AM. I work the night shift for my job. These ladies are back here dancing and slacking off talking non stop, when i was taking my time to order, they both kept starting at me, and i could hear them loud and clear. " he about to piss me off " " he doing this on purpose" And maybe I was, but genuinely I won't be coming back here, and i don't recommend anyone to as well, i saw four stars and thought it could be a good experience, but now i gotta waste more gas and go somewhere else. I don't ever leave reviews cause i feel like they're pointless, but this was a completely awful experience. I don't blame the owners or the management staff, however they didn't even try, and i recommend these people to be fired.

Food was awesome! 10 piece wing half CPR (Cajun Parmesan ranch) and Hot Honey Garlic. Wings are big, juicy, crunchy, and flavorful. They are breaded wings so keep that in mind. Waffle fries were so crunchy and even better with CPR seasoning. Homemade ranch delicious.

We stopped at this place after a full day of activities and we're not disappointed by the portion sizes or the food. The wings were delicious and my son got the chicken tenders that were also spot on. We dined in and the restaurant had a cute little aesthetic and board games and dominoes to play. The place provides counter service and the person was very friendly and accommodating with anything that we needed as well.

It's ok! Lots of sauces and flavors to choose from without any reference or explanation so ordering online was difficult. The wings were really big but definitely not worth the price. The onion rings and egg rolls were just ok. Nothing special. I don't like in the area and there's so many other options for wings so I probably won't be back.

Wow talk about price gouging and owner greed. Fix your prices. You are selling chicken wings not caviar. I can get a whole roasted chicken for $5 anywhere. Unless you have deep pockets steer clear. Ps all of my chicken was drenched in seasoning. I like seasoning but dang what a wast of time and taste buds

I was hyped to find a black owned business yesterday. Called the family and asked what they wanted. We got a 4 piece "JUMBO" wing and fries, 6 piece "JUMBO" wing and fries, A tender meal, side of brisket Mac, potato salad and a order of fries for the little nephew. It smelled amazing and they could t wait to eat. I was disappointed in the size of the "wingette" not wing. There is a difference between the two. Wording means things you know. The 4 piece for the price i paid should have been the whole wing. The food was tasty but not all what we thought. One person said they would go back and the rest said no. It's not worth the $54 we paid oh no it was $60 once i added the potato salad. We probably will continue to make them at home. But happy i got to support a black owned business.

The service was excellent. The cashier was very respectful and friendly. Our food was nice, hot and ready upon entering. We ordered fried Oreos on the spot and they came out fast and fresh. Ridiculously slow, good food. Waited an hour for a 6-piece waffle combo. Insane. Second time ordering after last time when they got our order very wrong. Sad considering the potential.

Best wings in Austin! We got the Cajun, garlic Parmesan, lemon pepper and Buffalo. Each flavor hit! We tried the waffle fries as well as waffle...loved the waffle fries more then the waffle. But the waffle was good as well. The business seems very family oriented and Friday nights they have karaoke! We are definitely planning on returning and sharing with everyone we know. The service was welcoming and ambiance fun.

Gossip shack definitely has some of the best wings and great quality meat. The batter is the perfect amount and it doesn't feel super heavy either. Our favorite flavors are the CPR, bussdown bbq and lemon pepper. Wait time can be tricky, can be anywhere between 30 min - 2 hours depending on the time you order.

Food was amazing season well flavors on point great customer service. Everybody was friendly engaging with the guest recommend 10 out of 10.
