The very best venue in NYC for parties. Service gets five stars but the kitchen could use some help with better offerings from international cuisines. Five stars for the space and acoustics.

Good Old Architecture Hall, it is situated in heart of Midtown Manhattan. It is very near to New York Penn Station and also many parking garages are available nearby. Food was also great for our Company’s event. It can accommodate close to 400 to 500 people but more than that it will feel crowded like how we felt today. There is no building parking. Nearest Parking is a 4 min walk away.

This place is amazing ! Would Deff rent out for an event. It is just amazing !

Superb customer service. One of the most beautiful halls in NYC. The food was excellent. Finally, someone who can make eggplant properly. The team was very hospitable. I love this place. I hope we use them again next year.

I visited here for a Banquet event during the Puerto Rican Day parade festivities week. The venue is a truly magnificent place, being a former powerful bank its architecture is truly something to behold and make any occasion here feel regal and special. The main floor hall was set up glamorously, arriving for the cocktail hour they passed out wonderfully delicious hord ourves compatible with all pallets and the drinks were all generously poured and top shelf. Service was very accommodating and impeccable. The dinner was also very good and overall it was a very enjoyable evening. If you have an opportunity to come to an event here it is a place I recommend you experience at least once. Its an $$$$ venue but it seemed worth the costs of admission.

Visited Gotham hall for a family party earlier this month. This place is located right on Broadway. This is a nice location for events. The staff helping was courteous, helpful and professional. The only thing this place didn’t had was a dedicated nursing station for a new mother and a baby. One of our family member had to do that in the restroom. But I truly thank that staff member who placed some chairs in the restroom to help that mother. He did go above and beyond and we are very grateful for that.

This is such a cool event space. I like how open spaces it was but the seating itself could be better. The chairs felt like they swayed every time I sat down. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The screen to view the show could have been bigger but was still decent to view.

Breathtaking space with stunning architectural details you won't find in your run-of-the-mill hotel or conference space in NYC. Restrooms are beautiful, well maintained and offer fist-class accoutrements (disposable dental picks, mouthwash, cologne, hand lotion, etc.). Food was OK. While my experience was limited to a continental breakfast, it was also unimpressive with some fruit selections as the only healthy/non-carb options. Staff was attentive, but not friendly. Regardless, still a great space for events in Manhattan.

Not to be confused with Got Ham Hall, which is the hall that is full of pork products and such. This is a pretty fantastic concert venue and one of the old style ones which is smaller and more intimate and also really impressive on many levels. Barbie and I came here recently. We both really like it and I'm hoping to see lots more shows here in future, even though I've only been here once so far.

Recently attended an award show with my company at Gotham Hall. Overall, the event was great. There were two bars set up with two bartenders each. I frequented the one with Andy, he was great! For the reception hour, we were confined to the bar area and weren't allowed to walk around by the tables. The area that we were in, was quite small and everyone was constantly running into each other. It was great when they let us by the tables and we could sit down and still mingle. The food was perfect and everyone at my table enjoyed it. There were a lot of servers waiting on the tables so there was always someone near by to assist. At the end of the event, people left periodically so there wasn't a mad rush to get out, thankfully. I would say the only bad part was the packed reception hour with no where to sit.

I had the opportunity to attend the Watch Time show at the Gotham Hall venue. It is located in Manhattan, with easy access to buses, trains, parking garages and taxis. The building is older architecture and very grand. The high domed ceiling is breathtaking but unfortunately echoes sound which makes lots of talk in the room quite loud. There is a balcony which looks out over the auditorium floor. I have no idea how much it costs to rent this facility but if you want to make a high class impression, Gotham Hall is the place to do it.

Ah the glory of Gotham. There aren't too many places like this left. From the imposing entrance at the corner of the block to the stout, yet friendly security team that seamlessly lurk in the dark corners this place screams, in a muted whisper, the grandeur of all things vintage and charming. The mystique of watching this place transform for each event is a luxury afforded to it's employees only. Even if you happen to be hosting, they will allow you entry only after the basic accommodations have been met. Akin to an opera singer prior to a show, no secrets must be revealed. I love that they can do so based on their expert attention to detail and professional staff. The staff is both professional, yet approachable. Despite the large crowd that this venue can hold in the main room and in the multiple alcoves/rooms, there is never a worry as the space is ample (think fairytale ballroom). It goes without saying that the place is immaculate, carpets are rich and plush, and the floor is heel/stiletto friendly. Catering is also well executed. All of the items in the four course dinner were delectable and service was well timed. (Sadly, there are no food pictures because in this environment it is just uncouth). Bar service was efficient, quick and courteous. I can honestly say I enjoyed every aspect of the evening and if forced to sum it up in one word: superb. Old school charm that makes the hustle and bustle of the City disappear must be acknowledged. I would recommend for any special event/occasion and I cannot wait to return.

If you are considering hosting your next event at Gotham Hall, I can tell you Allan Kurtz and his team are all top notch. They went above and beyond the call of duty time and time again. From the beginning, it truly felt like they were a partner to our event. The food was delicious, the displays were all on point. James Bell and his lighting team from Bentley Meeker really know how to get the most out of the 70' ceilings and can make the building look spectacular. Stunning, dramatic venue...5 stars for being a breathtaking space and ambience. Attended beautiful wedding at GH. Ceremony was stunning. But cocktail reception was crowded and no counters or tables to sit a drink down to enjoy a plate of food while holding a drink. Main event space had horrible acoustics. Music was not just loud but echo and head splitting. Gave up trying to chat even with guest sitting directly next to me after maybe 20 minutes. Food itself was pretty good but no real standouts.

Spectacular venue. I keep hearing people say this place hosts some of the best parties, weddings, and events. Now I know why. The Romanesque style gives it an unforgettable tone. The backdrop looks regal. You can change the backdrop style to hide the columns or even play them up. When you come into the main room it feels like you stepped into another dimension. I came here for the Style Fashion Week. The set-up looks amazing. The large space allows people to move from one room to the next. In the foyer, you see people taking photo ops with models. Even though many people attended this fashion show, it never felt uncomfortable. If I decide to plan an event in New York, I would highly recommend this place.

The Quick: Gorgeous venue for galas, holiday parties, and fancy events of all occasions. Food was very good, but the focus is really on the high ceilings and how picturesque everything is. Not quite the plaza but definitely up there.

NYUCD held a Halloween Party here and it was JAW DROPPING amazing. This place is huge and so beautiful. I loved the high ceiling, tall columns and subtle lighting. The music was pumping. The servers at the bar were friendly and quick. All of us had a great time here. This is definitely a gorgeous hall to hold any type of event.

Thanks to Yelp's Jia J. I know a little more trivia today! Never knew that Gotham Hall was converted to a party facility in 2002 after the Greenwich Savings Bank met its demise after deregulation in 1980. Inside, plenty of reminders of being a glorious bank - tall cavernous ballroom / main room in the center, several smaller rooms to either side and a duo of balcony rooms that overlook the main ballroom. Had an event here, and they had wonderful sweeping photos and a good projector - audio suffered a bit, but I can't tell if that was just the speaker. Food was so-so. Appetizers all had cheese, so my fellow attendees that were vegan or couldn't consume cow's milk were all out of luck. Too salty beet salad, and a steak that was dry (not dry-rubbed but just too well-done was a gentler term). Service was okay - not overbearing but hovering in the background, plenty of waitstaff. Drink service was quick and simple, no long lines at all for the 100 attendees. Overall a nice, if expensive, venue - great for all the weddings and other fancier ball events and NYE that comes through, but for the group of ~100 people, it still felt a bit too big to fill in. Better for larger events.

Beautiful space with a stellar in house staff to boot! Planned a celebrity charity gala here recently and it was a huge success. Guests loved the venue and every staff member at Gotham made our event memorable all in the best ways possible. They have a second level with a big balcony that overlooks the main ballroom and also smaller rooms that could be used for private green rooms and such. Using their exclusive in house vendors for AV and catering went without a hitch as well. Can't wait to plan another event here!

Our wedding at Gotham Hall was beyond our wildest dreams! The venue itself is spectacularly majestic with its sublime architecture, elegant interior design, and jaw dropping dome ceiling. The food, drinks, and service were outstanding from start to finish! The staff was the epitome of professionalism and delightful to work with along the entire journey from planning to even days after the event itself. Stephanie Black, Robert Fortunato, and Pejy Kash, in particular, managed our entire event flawlessly and were exceptionally talented and wonderful to work with. We had several dietary restrictions, requests for items not on the menu, and additional needs for help for some of our older guests and the team at Gotham Hall was quick to come up with solutions to make our wedding perfect! Weddings can be chaotic, and the Gotham Hall staff was attending to our every need throughout the whole night, making sure were calm prior to the ceremony and ensuring we were having a wonderful time at the reception. This team really knows what they're doing and coordinated with each other and all of our vendors flawlessly! It's been over a month since our wedding and our guests cannot stop talking about the beauty of the venue, the quality of food and beverages, the top-notch service and attentive staff. Adjectives such as "BREATHTAKING", "SPECTACULAR", "OUTSTANDING", "DELECTABLE" continue to pour in. Several guests commented that it was the best wedding they had been to in their entire lives (and 3 of them were over 75 years old)! Having a wedding at Gotham Hall is truly a one of a kind magical experience and worth every penny!

While the venue is beautiful choose it with some trepidation. They treat their staff like absolute crap, and have been taken to court for stealing gratuities from them. As an attendee of multiple weddings, I can attest that everyone does it better, when it comes to training and treatment of employees

Lavish ballroom space. Ideal for engagement parties or small weddings. There's a space upstairs for hors d'oeuvres and the space downstairs is for the reception.

I came here with a friend on 1/17 for the Benvenuto Brunello Wine Tasting. It was our first time here and we both loved the venue. -elegant & opulent interior -bluetiful glass ceiling with a big bright chandelier in the middle -friendly and professional staff -clean bathroom but a bit small We checked in our coats and we grabbed a wine glass before we went in to sample all the wine. I'd been to a lot of wine tasting events but this one was much bigger with tons of different wine to try. Most of them were red wine but there was a vendor carried both white and dessert wine. Besides wine, we also love nibbling on their snacks especially the goat cheese....so good (^^)ｂ There were some suit & tie bouncers around and they were very friendly. They would take pictures for you if you asked them. By the time we were about to head to the coat check to pick up our coats, I couldn't find my coat check ticket...I was so worried and afraid that they would tell me to stay until everybody picked up their coats. I told the attendant what my coat looked like and while she was looking for my coat I found the ticket stuck in one of my bag's pockets. Then she came out with the right coat...thumbs up for the female coat check attendant:)

We came for NYE bash. Spend good money, about 150x2 people. Aside from the venue itself which is nice everything else was very disappointing. To sum: I came at 9. Waited on line for 10 min. Then waiting for coat check for 15 min. Then waited on line 2.5 hours for food which I never even got because they ran out! The drinks were small and full of ice with low quality alcohol. The dance floor was overcrowded. The dj was not even that great. Overall I am greatly disgusted with this place. Wish I could have my money refunded because it was essentially wasted money.

This gorgeous place has character, style and the perfect name for it. During the event I've been attending annually, I look up and see Batman on the roof standing at the edge of the large oval glass ceiling protecting Gotham's citizens. The terrace, if you can find it, is a great place to schmooze with co workers. This place breathes sophistication, and in the heart of the city and relic of a more romantic era.

This is the second event I attend to at this location. I love old buildings that are preserve for our use now. This is a huge beautiful space with really high ceilings. I heard it used to be a bank that now is used for private events. It also has a balcony that over looks the whole space. This place is so large no matter how many people in attendance you never feel crowded which is great.

Attended an event there last night. Fabulous space and environment. Also, they served many of us at the table a red snapper fish (we didn't have a chance to choose between meat or fish), and it was delicious!

My husband and I had the pleasure of getting married at Gotham Hall on July 26, 2014. We knew Gotham was the correct venue for us the minute we walked through the front doors. The hall is exquisite and the Haer Building is also a classic hallmark of traditional New York, simply unforgettable with a one of a kind glass dome ceiling. With the white-glove service, attention to detail, classic ambience, and award winning cuisine, we could not have asked for a more perfect day on our wedding! The chef also went to great lengths to make us a traditional Sri Lankan appetizer form scratch - just so we could include something from our heritage, and also served alcoholic cupcakes at the end of the night with dry ice! Allan Kurtz and the Gotham Hall crew were wonderful and a pleasure to work with - they went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was everything that we asked for. Allan's oversight of the many vendors and details and the kindness and attentiveness he showed to us throughout the entire planning process to the days even after the wedding, were just priceless. Beautiful space that we visited for a fancy watch show. Loved the ceiling. It was a good space for such events, the circular structure facilitated walking from vendor to vendor, to each of the watch makers and crossing over from one end to another. Never ending possibilities!

DUDE!! Pier sixty in the monin and this shit in the night....I was already buzzin from the early morning drinking... inspite of takin a fuckin cold shower .. I was still TULLI.. Oh well another gorgeous venue , this is my judgement after seeing the pics... cause I don't remember a DAMN thing.... All i remember was the open bar ....the drinks were Ok here kinda watered down...but things got better later on as I picked up a bottle of Black from the bar and brought it to the table... that is when the real PARTY started....all Desi aunties givin me dirty looks and all uncles were envious of me.... the food sucked here also was really bad.. the catering was from BUKHARA GRILL and looks like they GOT BUKHAR themselves.... anyways the party was horrible .. only thing good was the damn BLACK...

2012 company holiday party was hosted here. There was a coat check disaster. Turned in to 3 hour wait at the max for coats to be located. For a 4 hour block of time for the whole party, most of the party was spent by people on line to get their coats when word that the coat check was unorganized made its way through the party. While it was a beautiful location, the food was mediocre and the coat check fail ruined our company holiday party. Basing solely on my experience, it would be hard to recommend this place for large (500-1000+) occasions. 2 stars for coat check mayhem and very mediocre food.

This is the site of the best alum event I ever went to (last night). Rolled up (on foot), admired the huge school flag they hung out for the event, and took my place by the open bar on a plush balcony area overlooking the Grand Ballroom where perfect round tables were being laid out. Converted to a party facility in 2002 after the Greenwich Savings Bank met its demise after deregulation in 1980, the feeling of money and industry still hung nicely in the air. As the jazz band played, I gazed up at the bluish ellipical skylight embedded in the ornate, domed ceiling and quite expected Batman to come crashing through the cobweb patterned portal and the Penguin Man bursting up through the marble floor in a giant rubber duck and Michelle Pfeiffer slinking out from behind a wall. Hell, I felt like I WAS Michelle Pfeiffer in this place! The service was superb all night long. The hors d'oeuvres servers were attentive and diplomatic, popping up in regular intervals in all reaches of the room to offer miniature duck wraps, coconut shrimp, triangles of brie with grapes on top, and hot samosas. The bartenders were quick and skilled, and kept everyone liquored even as the space became a total mosh pit. Just as the balcony was probably on the brink of collapse from the weight of lushy and overenthusiastic alums, we were called down to our tables for the program and a delicious dinner to match. The server assigned to my table kept me happy as a clam in red wine, and kept up a good conversation as I got chattier. I liked that the servers were real, dimensional people who didn't shuffle or have inferiority complexes about their work. They were definitely professionals. A goat cheese quiche in a nest of baby greens was followed up by melt-in-your mouth roast beef (giant gnocchi for vegheads) and a dark chocolate tart. All the while, bigwigs, students, and performers stepped up to the stage and said their bit and played their instruments. The sound system was sublime. All in all, this hall is a holiday venue made in Gotham. It should be utilized by those who can bring an occasion that justifies and complements the extravagance of the space. For example, last night's dinner celebrating a ramp up in fund-raising efforts for need blind admissions at a blue blood prep school was just such an ocasion. Everyone felt good, and it wasn't just because of the Scotch and the wine. Speaking of which... the downside was that I accdientally (whooops) got Absolutely Shit Faced (we're talking misplacement of entire purse, trying to get into my house with my work keys, riding almost to the Bronx on the 6...I'll stop here), but even this was arguably glam rock. Anyway, the miscalculation of my limits thankfully played out after the event, in an inferior locale devoid of anyone of major consequence to my future. So you can keep your five stars, Gotham Hall.

The venue is pretty and the planning staff is great. It reminds me slightly of Cipriani 42 or Capitale but not quite as beautiful. I like the old bank feel that it has and the upstairs is nice too. I actually had a 200 person presentation upstairs and then came downstairs for a reception. I had no idea i could really fit that many on the upstairs mezzanine - but the fact that it did helped us maximize the space downstairs. We had them set up a square central bar accessible from all four sides. The food was on the outside and we had set up the interior as a speed networking system. Overall the staff and space were quite adaptable and creative to our needs. The food was only ok- not spectacular but good enough and all of the vendors we used were their preferred. i think it is also a little overpriced - but if you are looking for the old school bank grandiose feel for less money than Cipriani Gotham Hall is the way to go. And like i said the planning staff was great - they really made us feel comfortable during the entire process.

The evening started out very disorganized! For being held by event coordinators, I expected a better check in process. If the coat check group can use iPads why can't the actual hosts? After we got our table and all settled, everything went much smoother. Food was basic finger food. Nothing fancy but something definetly to fill the belly. Having private bar in the Lounge was great. But even the bars in the main room weren't that long of a wait. Music was so-so. But we all had a great night.

NYE: Decent music. Food was just average. Bar was satisfactory. Obviously, the service was concentrated on tips and coat check revenue, during the hectic evening. However, one instance made my group's night memorable, resulting in a successful new year's celebration.

What a beautiful space! One of my clients had a launch event here tonight, and it was amazing. He designed the lighting element of the event, and brought in caterers and a Grammy-winning DJ, but the space still held its own integrity and really accommodated the host's taste and style. Such an amazing event space, nestled into midtown.

I was here for a movie premiere after party. The staff were very friendly and indulged me and my friend Ava E. in our "we hover over free food mode". Not much else to say about it but if you have tens of thousands of dollars on hand for a party, consider this place lol.

The architecture is what's causing me to give them a solid 3-star rating. The space is ok. But, if you're there for an event, once the bars and tables and stage are set up, it's REALLY difficult to maneuver throughout the space. I also found a lot of the staff to be very indifferent and some to be downright obnoxious as they obviously gave preference to serving certain guests over others. The food options weren't that spectacular...though I'm not sure if that criticism goes to their in-house or an outside caterer. I did find the spacing of the stairs leading to and from the balcony to be very odd and difficult for various people to maneuver. You can't quite do one step at a time...but they're not big enough to warrant two full steps. Odd. I will say it's worth viewing and considering the venue for your event. Most people at large events here are so awed by the space they really don't look at the finer points. But the location is right and it is a visually appealing space.

Just had my companies holiday party here and realized I'd also been here years ago for a fabulous Lucky Shops event. It's a very versatile space, thanks to two balconies and a crowd friendly circular floor plan. My company's holiday party was gorgeous and really showed off how majestic this space can look. Not necessarily my taste, but if you are looking for a beautifully ornate backdrop for an event or wedding, this Midtown spot is a gem.

Beautiful space. Came here for a work holiday party and the space is phenomenal. It helps that there was free food, open bar, and enough space for everyone. There's a 2nd level with a balcony to give you sweeping views of the floor below. The pillars and high ceiling really adds to the effect. The main doors are small so we ended up on a line waiting to get in (like I'm still in college and clubbing) which can be a bit disappointing but once inside, it's well worth the wait.

The most magical place i have ever visited. It makes you feel like you are into another parallel reality. Out of space! I visited a Helloween Party there and it was awesome! The service was top of the top. The lighting was appropriate. Last but not least the food was perfectly presented and delicious.

My friends and I spent all this money to purchase a ticket to attend a Halloween party at this venue. This venue had no decorations what so ever. You would think, you are pointlessly charging people a lot of money for a halloween party that there would be some great decorations. The 'VIP' tickets we purchased were extremely pointless and we were all very disappointed. The only good thing was the music and our togetherness. We will not be returning for any future holiday parties here but It was a beautiful venue.

Gotham Hall is a FABULOUS event venue!!! We had our wedding at Gotham in June 2013. Allan Kurtz of Gotham Hall is one of the most incredible people I have ever worked with (and I've worked with some incredible people). He understands hospitality like no other. From the moment we met with him, his service was beyond top notch. He helped us with each step of the process, including advising us on which vendors to look in to (ie: florists, decor companies, etc) to the actual day-of managing. I cannot rave enough about him! And to those planning upcoming weddings or events...let me tell you: the people aka the talent behind the event are what make it or break it. Allan answers emails promptly and thoroughly, is excellent at managing people and problem solving, and has such a fabulous personality to boot. This guy keeps his cool, even when you're starting to lose yours in the planing process! You cannot buy his years of expertise in the business of hosting events. I must also say that the entire staff at Gotham follows Allan's leadership--everyone we dealt with was tip top. The venue itself is spectacular, and is the quintessential New York City backdrop. It's a classic venue, but is also unique in that it was once a bank which closed in the 1920's. My (now) husband and I are of the mindset that a hotel is a hotel is a hotel when it comes to weddings, so we searched for a venue that encompassed our love of classic New York, but was also not your typical hotel ballroom or private club. We wanted some character...but was also wanted classic...not the easiest combination to find. Having a creative background working in the entertainment biz, I was also looking for a venue where I could create the world I envisioned, as opposed to a more plug 'n play type of venue where floral choices and seating charts are as far as the customized planning goes. So Gotham was absolutely perfect for us, as we were truly able to create the world we wanted inside the beautiful bones of Gotham Hall. We even changed the carpet out, which was my first thought expressed to Allan when we came to see the venue for the first time... I say: "Sooooo...this carpet...it can't be moved, can it?" His immediate response: "You can have whatever carpet you want." For those interested--we actually placed a carpet of our choice (white) over top the existing one, which of course came at a cost. For the record, the in-house carpet is perfectly lovely (it's got a regal look) and fits the space beautifully. Again, we were just looking to create a highly specific world and execute a very customized vision. A lot of other "iconic" NYC venues have strict rules about what you can and cannot change about their space, which therefore makes every wedding/event look pretty darn similar...whereas Gotham was open to any and all of my ideas, even the "crazy" ones! And, of course, customizing to such a large degree incurs cost. But Allan was also a great touchstone in terms of helping us gauge our budget properly, and in helping us anticipate any "hidden" costs we may not have initially budgeted for. Overall, I feel I assembled a phenomenal team of vendors, and Allan at Gotham was a great help in advising us. I'm a big proponent in doing your research and spending a lot of time and work assembling your team...then letting them run with it and trusting in the talent and expertise of those you've hired! But back to Gotham Hall specifically! In closing: The architecture is spectacular. The interiors are classic and unique at the same time. The staff is top notch and fulfills your every need and wish, before you even realize you have them. After reading a few mixed reviews we finally decided to attend Gotham hall for New Year's Eve. It didn't take us long to queue and the whole process was swift and smooth. The building was decorated beautifully and it felt really grand. There were several bars which meant we were served really quick. My only issue was that there were no seating at all for general admission! The staff were great too, very friendly. Overall we had a great evening and would come again!

Gotham Hall is a gorgeous venue in the heart of midtown New York City. Attended a wedding here in November 2013 and the venue, staff and food were superb. The cocktail hour was in the entrance space - you walk up these elegant stairs, are welcomed by courteous staff, and directed where to place your winter layers in the coat check. Nice space for a cocktail party - not too big, and very intimate. Our wedding event was in the main ballroom, then we went upstairs on returned to the cocktail area, while they flipped the room for the reception. when we returned for the party, there is a big stage where there was a live band, a large wood dance floor, and lots of space for tables and buffet too. overall , a glorious venue .

New Years Eve event. PROS- All tickets, no matter what level you got, included a 6 hour open bar, which was nice, and the bartenders were friendly and allowed you to order as many drinks that you could carry back to your table/friends with. The crowd was mixed - age and ethnicity which was great. CONS- The space itself is spectacular and very grand, but the service leaves much to be desired. We waited one and a half hours to get in and that was with VIP tickets! They had only one person with a paper list checking names/groups....(ridiculous) Possibly the worst DJ (DJ Michael Demby) on the planet. I am not sure if he was high, or just plain stupid, but the music selection was quite poor. He chose music that was frankly un-dance-able. He did not play any top 40 or any good dance/house beats. If you see a crowd not moving and giving you the finger, you should pay attention and play more relevant music! ITS A NEW YEARS EVE PARTY! PEOPLE WANT TO GET DRUNK AND DANCE! Because the space is so grand and built of stone, sound bouncing/echo is a major problem. You could always hear a second delayed beat wherever you stood, which isn't the DJ's fault, but more an architectural issue. (it was built as a bank, not a club) I give it 3 stars. - Classy place/ Easy to get booze/ Irritating Door Policy/ Shit DJ

decor was beautiful - service was excellent- went for a wedding - the area was small and no place to sit and eat for cocktail hour, entree wasn't anything special.

A lovely space, but awkwardly laid out. When the entire center is filled with tables at a party, you're going to find everyone squashed in the perimeter, i.e. the only place to stand and mingle. Also, the sound system does not seem well suited to the space--the speeches at our party were all echo-ey.

I have been to Gotham Hall more times than I can count and it is never a disappointment. I am sucker for old architecture and old banks could not be more grand and breathtaking. The accent lighting always catches my eye.

Gotham Hall New Year's Eve 2018 is like a sad retirement party or work party. The Dj was boring/horrible he did not play top 40 hits and the sound system sounds like your in a car with cheap speakers horrible. The vip lounge is like a room in a funeral home, very sad lounge space. BIG DISAPPOINTMENTMENT. People make a big deal about the event space and high ceilings I'm not impressed seen better around the world. The tables and chairs gave the event a cheap vibe should of been a bigger dance space. There was no live count down they should of had big screens up so you can see the count down in time square. BIG WASTE OF MONEY.
