Two Austin Bars Nab Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Award Nominations - Eater Austin
"Gourdough’s is looking to expand by opening a food truck at 1903 East Riverside Drive in Austin and a new location in San Antonio by taking over Tex-Mex restaurant La Paloma Riverwalk Parilla Grill. They have applied for TABC permits for the 215 Losoya Street address for the San Antonio location." - Nadia Chaudhury
Ordered some blue balls from Gourdoughs and then went to order tacos nextdoor from Rositas. Came back to the young female cashier devouring my blue balls, her realizing I came back to get my order, she removed her plastic wear and put new ones in. I was left with like 6 tiny blue balls. Went back at a later date to reorder and it had much more blue ball goodness than the first time. She was totally eating my order then gave me the remainder of what she didn't eat when I came to claim it. Not cool. All that said, the blue balls were damn tasty.

Now I know what you're thinking, this man can't really mean it when he says this is the best donut of his life. Let me tell you, the shortcake donut (an amazing crispy fresh dough, light sugar, cream cheese frosting, and strawberries) is the best freaking donut of my life. Get it, eat it, never look back.

My family loves visiting the Gordough’s Public House location, so having this food truck is great for when we just want to grab some delicious doughnuts to go. There is outdoor seating, too!

Fun place for dessert but this place was filthy inside. Had similar experience at the shop on Lamar. I don't eat at dirty restaurants.
