"Gourmet Goat serves Mediterranean dishes made with seasonal vegetables, and British meat that, shockingly, includes a lot of goat. It serves everything from slow-roast veal salads to halloumi bulgar wheat bowls, but the kid goat kofta pitta is what you really want to get involved in. We challenge anyone to come here and try this bad boy without entering a very serious and slightly obsessive conversation about tzatziki." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, daisy meager, sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

"We’re big fans of alliteration. But we’re even bigger fans of this stall. Gourmet Goat serves eastern Mediterranean dishes made with seasonal vegetables and British meat, shockingly, including a lot of goat. Although they serve everything from slow roast veal salads, to bulghar wheat pilaf bowls, to breakfast yogurt pots, the kid goat kofta pita is what you really want to get involved in. We challenge anyone to come here and try this bad boy without entering a very serious, entirely sincere, slightly obsessive conversation about tzatziki. photo credit: Giulia Verdinelli" - Heidi Lauth Beasley

Everything was so fresh and delicious! The olives with herbs were a nice touch, and the kofta was perfect. I could eat this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day! Beware, closes at 5 on most days, so plan accordingly!

Ordered the lamb kofta bowl with bulgur pilaf. Quick service, excellent lunch option. Fresh tasting, great flavours. Reasonably priced. Generous portion of slaw and delicious bulgur. Great sauces, would have liked even more of the green one! One of the best things I have eaten in London for £10.

We had Halloumi Fries with Chilli sauce as a starter to our time at Borough Market. Fantastic fries and sauce; and good portion size for the price. Will be back to try the wraps!

The food is good quality but the chicken is VERY salty. I could barely finish my sandwich. Also, it’s not halal which a lot of people think. There are a lot better options in the market. I wouldn’t come again.

Simple, tasteful and delicious in the best market in London, totally recommend.

Kid Goat kofta was good, but regrettably, it didn't quite suit my taste. The sauce, in particular, was a bit too sour for my liking, although my friend found it enjoyable.

The Kid Goat Kofta wrap is amazing! Wish I was local. Service was excellent and very accommodating.
