"This late-night favorite — open until 1 a.m. on weekends — is the brainchild of former Capo’s pizzaiolo Matt Molina, whose bona fides include three international pizza-making championships. For those who like a slightly heftier crust than your average thin-crust pie, Graffiti’s pizzas are picture perfect, offering a satisfying chew. The topping combinations are also topnotch — try the “Cloud,” a wonderfully garlicky combination of sausage, spinach, and light-as-air ricotta cheese." - Dianne de Guzman, Noah Cho

What a great surprise! I would have never bought it based on looks since I usually prefer Neapolitan style pizza and yet it beat more expensive ones I've had in regular rotation lately. Their tomato sauce actually had flavor!!, they were not cheap with the cheese amount, and the crust was crispy yet not dry. This may become my new go-to. EDIT: The bad reviews are REAL and sooner or later you'll get to experience their rudeness first hand. Thanks for ruining the best pizza in town with so bad customer service!

Location isn't so good, it smells bad outside. The pizza is good to try.

I don't know what happened. This was, at one time, the best pizza place in Oakland. Not anymore. I don't give a one star review lightly, but Graffiti Pizza has earned it. Over the last six months or so, they have gone from excellent, to inconsistent, to progressively worse with each order. This all culminated in my order last night in which I ordered garlic knots and a pizza. The garlic knots were undercooked, unseasoned, and completely lacking garlic. They were just unfinished lumps of dough plopped into a puddle of olive oil and butter. Because they were undercooked they were literally inedible. The pizza was even worse. It was thick, chewy, and very soggy. Almost as if it had been cooked underwater. It was, in a word, disgusting. As I said before, Graffiti Pizza was once the best pizza in Oakland. They have trended downward into literally inedible slop. I don't know if they have new ownership or management, or if it's a new kitchen staff, but something has drastically changed. They were once excellent and I sincerely hope they will be again. But, for now, avoid Graffiti Pizza like the plague. It's become a catastrophe.

Google
We discovered graffiti pizza one night when we’re hanging out at a bar down the street and someone walked in with a whole pizza. We decided to go and try it for ourselves and ever since whenever we’re in Oakland is a must stop. It’s simple but flavorful pizza our go to is the classic, pepperoni. They also sell beer if you’re in the mood for it.

Tony G prodigy n world champion zza maker in his own right Matt is definitely the man, how exciting to have in Oakland. Teaching his trade to the willing which equals yummy for us. They are just getting this this rolling and it'll be fun to watch how it grows. $5 cheese zza makes a great lunch run and is right across the street from the court house. I got a slice of margarita n a calzone to go. Both were delightful. A sweet private back patio for days it's not raining is a must check. Did I mention the shots, real alcohol here!

Google
This place is a hidden gem. Came in for a late night pizza fully expecting to be disappointed as I always am with pizza in the bay area, and was pleased to find that they had would make me a margarita pizza even though not on the menu, and added ricotta upon request. I was also surprised to find a full bar inside with one of the chillest humans I've met in a while, lily, behind the counter. She took my order over the phone for pick up and greeted me warmly upon arrival. Pizza was freaking delicious, crust perfect, cheese fresh, and I got extra red sauce which was also great. Not that you need it with this pizza but the ranch is also on point. 5 stars, highly reccomend a margarita pizza with ricotta and extra sauce.

Google
One of my new favorite pizza places. Came here for dinner on a Friday night with a large group. They have a patio in the back with a bunch of seating which was perfect. I got a slice of the cheese and a slice of the pepperoni and mushroom. Both were delicious. The sauce that they use is spectacular. Also got a meatball sub which was great. Highly recommend.

Johnel T.

Yelp
A nice classic slice! Great sauce, light crispy crust, full of flavor. Really great service as well. Felt like I was part of the family coming in! Would def return for a quick meal

Angelina B.

Yelp
The customer service was fantastic! Saoirse was incredibly kind. The service was amazing--my husband even got a sample of beer. We decided to order some slices and extra well done wings, and they were delicious! I enjoyed it so much that we ordered more to take home. We were so hungry after the last A's game, I didn't even take pictures. The pizza I took home was fire. Oakland will always have a special place in my heart, filled with great food and unforgettable memories. Oakland A's and Raiders for life!

Mike J.

Yelp
Best plain cheese pizza I've had in the Bay Area. However, they're often closed weird hours (like...Friday at 3pm??)

Laura K.

Yelp
...wings are not jumbo in the slightest....do not make this mistake...very tired and very disappointed

Emily P.

Yelp
Service was really friendly but the food was nothing spectacular. Garlic knots had no crust and were not very garlicky. The parmesan cheese that topped the knots overpowered the garlic in my opinion. Very let down by these. I got the roll call pizza and it was good but nothing special. Definitely not worth the price. Very forgettable. However, the crust had a nice crunch. I had been wanting to try this place for a long time but I would have been okay if I never did.

Zerica M.

Yelp
The pizza and chicken wings were fire! The customer service was great as well. They do take awhile to make your pizza so make sure you order in ample time, it was worth the wait though.

Esther W.

Yelp
Pretty tasty pizza with impressively crisp crusts throughout. Dropped by for a few individual slices for late night bites with my partner as recommended by a friend. Great vibes inside and delicious toppings. We grabbed the combo, veggie, and pepperoni slices. They don't skimp on the toppings and the prices and value are way better than other pizza places I enjoy like Artichoke Basille's. I typically like thicker and crispier crusts, but this place does their thin crust well. Service was so friendly. Seems like lots of people like hanging out inside, sometimes passing around blunts lol. But good vibes. Hoping to come back and grab a full pie and try out some of the other flavors. I've been around this area a lot and never knew this pizza shop existed! Would definitely recommend to others to check it out.

Andrew L.

Yelp
Giving a solid 4 stars to this wonderful pizzeria. The pizza is not overly greasy (but obviously still greasy because...it's pizza), has a nice thin crust, and doesn't skimp on the toppings. Even better that it's open late. It is not the most cost-effective pizza but you're paying for quality and is still on par with other smaller non-corporate chains.

Vito K.

Yelp
TERRIABLE, DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! If you don't like being disrespected, STAY AWAY!! My wife and I were in town over the weekend visiting family and we stopped in for an early dinner only to be dumbfounded by how rude the cook names Paul behind the counter was to delivery guys picking up. And then my cousin who came in this afternoon who after asking for more mushrooms on her pie, was told she didn't have to be too difficult and not to return. Listen, as a New Yorker, trust me, their pizza is not anything special to be giving paying customers such a hard time. Especially when their prices are nuts! I DO NOT recommend them and I highly suggest you stay away and find pizza else where!

Steve D.

Yelp
Graffiti Pizza, in Old Oakland, serves up a great Old School Combo pizza! Look at my pictures, what a beautiful pizza! Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom.....blended together on a golden oven browned crust. I paid extra for extra mozzarella, because I love molten cheese on my pizza. This pizza place earns it's "4.5-Star" Yelp rating. Now, to be honest, I did have to wait an extra 25 mins for my pizza. It wasn't ready at the set pickup time. I went outside, and a delivery driver told me everyone usually has to wait for their order. This place is in historic Old Oakland. It's near the Oakland Police HQs and the Courthouse (where you pay traffic / parking fines). So if you're in the area, drop by for pizza, sandwich or salad. So I took my pizza home, put it on my pizza pan, popped it in the oven for 5-7 mins @ 400*F ( That's why it looks a little burnt). It came out of my oven with glistening molten cheese. All those delicous toppings welded to the crust. The Old School Combo Pizza is a great pizza. I ordered a 14" medium w/ extra mozzarella. Lots of options for added toppings.

Yelp
*updated review. As of 3-1 lunchtime: Burnt outside, uncooked inside pizza crust. 1 of 2 pizzas I got was not edible due to uncooked crust. New staff, no familiar faces. I've been coming here for a few years now, every Friday. As I write this my tummy is stating to hurt. Hope it wasn't the undercooked pizza. This place USED to be a FREAKIN GEM! Best of the bay all day! WTF HAPPENED? *graffiti pizza OG instagram account is also shutdown......hmm. BABY COME BACK!! Please be sure to message me when you do!

Yelp
HANDS DOWN one of the best Pizza joints in Oakland, or Bay Area! I am a pizza connoisseur, and have actually worked at 3 different pizza places, so I don't give this review lightly! Their pizza slices are out of this world! Not sure how they do it, but every time I've been in here, the experience was downright orgasmic! I've never gotten a pie, but their slices are the BOMB! So tasty! They also serve beer, which goes great with their slices. An outdoor patio is nice. They have even won awards for pizza! They are hanging on the wall behind the counter. The staff has always been nice and friendly, and there's this cute chick with glasses that works the register, but the dudes are hot as well. I go out of my way to drop by Graffiti Pizza. YOU GUYS ROCK!

Sunny F.

Yelp
Ordered a pizza at 10:08, went over to sit close by to pickup as soon as it came out. Site says pizza will be ready at 10:40. At 10:32 I ask the bartender if they'll call me or text me (as they have in the past) when my order was ready. He informs me that he canceled the order because they "didn't have any of the grandma style"...? Gave me no explanation as to why I wasn't informed sooner, simply handed me a refund receipt. In the past I've had many great experiences here, and to have this uninterested, uncaring bartender do absolutely nothing to help me when his inability to do his job effectively has wasted my time... bleak.

Kendra W.

Yelp
So this is turning out to be my favorite pizza place! They have great food and super great staff! The pizza is thin and the sauce yall it's the sauce that's sooooo delicious! I am a pizza eater and I could honestly eat here twice a week if I could do so without gaining weight but unfortunately that's not the case! They also serve pizza by the slice if your not in the mood for a whole pie. My favorite pizza to order is the 14" pepperoni pizza add extra pep! They also have in house made cheesecake that is out of this world! I don't even like cheesecake like that and I wanted to eat the whole thing which is physically impossible because the slice is bigger than my face! They make a fresh batch in Sundays and they are sold out by Wednesday even with Monday being closed so enough said! If your in the mood for good pizza check this spot out!

Yelp
The City of Oakland is filled with pockets of surprises. Graffiti pizza (GP) fits that description to a tee as it is hidden on the outskirts of downtown not far from the Oakland Police Department Headquarters and the prison and the many bail bond stores just down the block on 6th St and Washington. I believe technically this part of Oakland is referred to as Historic Oakland. Who knows? Maybe the racist Jack London used to haunt these areas? Not sure. I find it odd that a liberal city like Oakland gives so much accolade to him. When you have the chance, search for his newspapers articles about African American boxing great Jack Johnson and you'll learn how openly racist he was at the time. I give this a 5 because this place shot up shortly prior to the COVID-19 revolution that turned human beings into robots programmed to accept unsubstantiated info at fair value and to be fearful at all costs. As a result of that revolution of over-reaction, a lot of Oakland Restaurant institutions fell belly under and crime here for a brief spike became worst than normal. Yet in all that brew of negativity, this place, in its infancy survived. What I love most about GP is that is not bought or corporatized. It has a unique feel that reminds me of old San Francisco where chains like Subway, Roundtable and McDonalds weren't the norm. Aside from my personal commentary, let's get to the details: if you have a group of 15-20 friends and desperately need a place to wind down with food and a good bar, look no further. The back area holds 20-25 people comfortably. The pitchers of beer are honest. We came in with a lot of beer drinking momentum and we're pacified by the (3) gargantuan pints IMMEDIATELY served to us as we walked in. There was no Ass scratching delays which is typical in anti-friendly "I'm too cool to give good service" California. They had our backs instantly and made us all feel welcome instantly. For pizzas what did we order? 5 different ones: cheese, meat, combo, veggie and pepperoni. All arrived to a group of 15 hungry friends within 10 minutes. All fully packed. All fully delicious. Amenities? All the cracked red pepper or Parmesan that you needed. I am glad I found this place. After 8pm, since the COVID-19 over-reaction, most kitchens are now shut save for the grotesque chains. This is pretty much the only viable pizzeria open in Oakland after 8pm with a good bar, cool staff, cool vibes and a socially unpretentious welcoming vibe. Thanks for moving into this city and giving some life back to it. Also, sorry it took my so long to find you. I had given up on finding places like this in Oakland and had been programmed to just buy food and scurry off to home nestled in my cove of anti-sociability. Cannot wait to come here again!

Elijah C.

Yelp
I ordered the 20-inch classic cheese pizza. The pizza may be on the pricey side, but well worth the price. One slice alone felt like 2 slices and the flavor/texture was good. The reason for the 3 stars is mainly because of the lady working behind the counter. When I went to pick up the pizza, she asked how many paper plates I wanted. I then replied "about 10." She then said, "I mean, there's only 8 slices." Like..... okay? A bit unnecessary to say. Not to mention, this was literally my first time visiting there so I had no clue how many slices came with it. Felt a bit snarky.

Charisma K.

Yelp
Pizza is absolutely delicious, yes. But you can't expect people to wait 2+ hrs for some pizza! :( I get pizza when I'm looking for something quick and simple because I'm too hungry to wait- if it's one of the best I've ever had, sure I'm willing to wait a little. But Graffiti takes around 2hours every time! One time I tried to order on DoorDash and it said 2.5 hrs so naturally I thought that was an error, and called them. Yep it really was 2.5 hours, and the person on the phone was pretty rude about it too. They're clearly very popular but I think they may need to hire more people or expand or something, idk. We stopped ordering from them because of this. Not worth the trouble.

Andrew E.

Yelp
Fantastic, great pizza, great crust large portion size. I'm a slim guy, ate half that XL. My joint from now on.

Nadia I.

Yelp
These guys are open late which is great. My family decided to swing by one evening and grab a pizza. They got an XL cheese which was huge and filled up three adults and three children. The cheese was yummy and the pizza was not overly sauced. I would love to try some of their speciality pizzas. They sound and look good. Cute outdoor seating area in the back patio with heaters. Parking is a little tough in the area but not impossible.

Ashley W.

Yelp
I finally get to write Graffiti Pizza a long-awaited review! Ever since we tried out Graffiti, it seems like my partner and I come here at least once a week. Whether you get their pizza by the slice or a whole pizza, you can't go wrong. The pizza slices are huge and are comparable to Costco slices. The ingredients they use are fresh and I love that they are open late! They usually have pepperoni, cheese, and they always switch up their combo and veggie options and each slice ranges from $4-$7. Sometimes the pizza can be a bit greasy but hey, if you're not looking for a bit of grease, why are you even getting pizza? I haven't tried too many of their whole pizzas but I do have my eye on the Cloud to try next!

Keanna W.

Yelp
- Pizza by the slice, as an option which is great! - - - - Approx. $6 for a slice; big slices however - crispy crunchy crust without being too hard - mildly spicy pepperoni with the right amount of cheese. Not too cheesy and just a tad bit oily. - you'll get classic pizzas and you can't go wrong

Harry W.

Yelp
Super friendly service and excellent pizza with a ton.. I mean a TON of toppings! They do not skimp! I ordered their "Roll Call" which is like a meaty special at other places. The "Roll Call" includes heaping big chunks of sausage, pepperoni, salami, red bell peppers, and sliced olives with mozzarella over tomato sauce. Though they do not deliver, ordering over the phone is fast and easy with a friendly person on the other end to take your order. It took about 30 minutes from order to pickup time, which is a bit on the speedier side than most. The medium size is plenty for 2-3 people, starving teens on a growth spurt do not apply here! To pick up, I just double park, Lock the car and run in. Parking is kind of tight and the neighborhood may seem a tad sketchy. They hand that pizza right over piping hot with a minimum of delay, and it's PIZZA TIME once I get home.. We've been here twice now and they are consistently good in both pizza and friendly service! Leave 'em a good tip.. They try hard to make everyone happy! We are happy! ( no, I don't know them, I'm just a happy customer!)

Jo Anne A.

Yelp
I am writing again to warn prospective customers. I ordered a pizza for pick up the following day at 12:30 pm. Graffiti Pizza changed the pick up time to 1:15 pm. My lunch hour ends at 1:00 pm, so I would not be able to pick up the pizza. I walked in at 12:15 pm the day of pick up and cancelled my order. The manager said that he would credit me back. I stupidly didn't demand a receipt for the credit. He did not. My credit card company states that he refuses to refund my $37.00 for no service. He, in effect, stole $37.00 from me. Not only does Graffiti Pizza provide bad service, but they are thieves. Steeling money from their customers for services they do not provide. Again, I was charged $37.00 for a pizza that I did not receive.

Philip A.

Yelp
Went in to welcome them to the neighborhood and see what they had to offer. The guy working the counter is grossly unpleasant in attitude. Extremely unwelcoming and dismissive. Before I could even say a word he say's aggressively, if you want a whole pie it's gonna 40-45 minutes! Furrowed brow...no smile. Not even a hey how are you. It was also dark, so dark that you can't make a judgement call about how clean it is. The only place that has light is the kitchen. Now ask yourself, is this the type of business you want to do business with? Not with my money. Over my dead body.

Carol C.

Yelp
The first time I checked in at Graffiti Pizza was on June 6, 2021 and the second time on June 20, 2021. At both times I was not able to write a review due to the business being bombarded by negative reviews re: whether the business is black owned. The pettiness of some people is ridiculous. The owner is "blackinese" or "blackasian". When I first met her, she was cordial and friendly. It didn't matter to me what her ethnic background was. The bottom line is whether or not the pizza is bomb-diggity good. (It was.) The manager who took my order the first time was pleasant and helpful. Wow! The second time I ordered my roll call pizza the same young lady remembered my name and acknowledged me. Great! Specialties: signature pizzas, calzones, pizza by the slice, sandwiches (bread is made fresh daily), salads and starters (garlic knots with marinara sauce and chicken wings). One can order a custom made/build one's own pizza. There are also assorted beverages on the menu. Housemade cheesecake is $8.00. Eats: My husband and I enjoyed the roll call pizza. It was tasty and delish. The crust was thin and the edges were soft and chewy. I even watched the chef tossed the pizza dough in the air. Cool! After the manager mentioned there was an outdoor patio, curiosity got the best of me and I had to go to the rear of the business to check it out. Casual dining in a comfy atmosphere. My guesstimate the outdoor patio has enough room for about 20 people. Future visits? Most definitely. I believe my next order is to build my own pizza. They have the ingredients to prepare a margherita pizza, which is one of my favorites.

William W.

Yelp
Great spot! Had the cloud pizza with ricotta, spinach and sausage and it was so good. My friends got the grandma and also liked it. About 10 seats inside plus a parklet. Sells beer. The crust is nice and crispy and the ingredients were high quality (sausage especially). Food came out pretty quick. They also have slices.

Nguyn Y.

Yelp
I LOVE GRAFFITI PIZZA! New york Style with thinner crust, the ingredients taste high quality, love their tomato paste/sauce. Highly recommend if you are into NY style.

Toddrianna L.

Yelp
Delicious pizza and great wings. I had the pepperoni slice, buffalo wings and honey sriracha wings. Honestly, I have no complaints whatsoever! The chicken is well seasoned and the pizza has the right balance of crispness and softness. If you're reading this, GO and get some!

Andrea R.

Yelp
I LOVE Graffiti Pizza! I've been coming here ever since I moved to the Bay Area and i have never been disappointed. The pizza and calzones are delicious and the staff is always so lovely and have fast service!

Bonyan Z.

Yelp
Their pizza is great probably one of the best in the area. However, it takes way too long to prepare the orders. We have already made peace with the fact that a single pizza might take up to 1.5 hours. Last night our order took about 2.5 hours and when we called the restaurant to check in, their interaction was very rude. Graffiti was our go to pizza place for years but we probably will never order from them again.

Hester D.

Yelp
Delish pizza- ordered via uber eats and had no expectation. But i was pleasantly surprised that damn this pizza is gewd!!! The garlic knots--im not too much of a fan of (probably taste better when you dine it, warm & soft). The pizza has generous topping, delicious chewy nice crust. Ill be ordering again soon and i recommend you to try

Meg M.

Yelp
This is my favorite pizza in Oakland right now. Hands down one of the best. A must-try. YES it will take long to order. Don't order via doordash. Your best option is to plan ahead and pick it up. They also have a back patio, beer, and are open late so grabbing a slice is another great option. The pizza with balsamic glaze and banana peppers is my go-to and really a stand out. Great ppl too.

Marco C.

Yelp
They have garlic knots! The moment I saw that on the menu, I knew this was where I was going for dinner. They come covered with Parmesan cheese and a nice cup of hot sauce, just the way it's supposed to be. And great foldable slices, and some beers on tap, and a nice array of cocktails to boot. Great spot!

Terry P.

Yelp
This place is pretty cool don't have nothing to much to say about it . It's a good spot & we was hungry so me and a friend of mine stopped and grabbed a slice of pizza

Tammy R.

Yelp
Dear Graffiti Pizza - I LOVE You! My friend and I were craving pizza and I found the pictures to look like authentic NY pizza, so we tried it. Um - yummy! The pizza slices are large covered with toppings. The pepperoni was a bit spicy and the crust was perfect. The bottom was crunchy, yet you can sink Your teeth into it for each delicious bite. The garlic knots were delicious little bites of soft dough covered with Parmesan and sitting in some Butter. The side of sauce was good, but lacking a tad in the flavor department. Not sure what the fuss is about with the staff, they were all friendly to us. Great pizza and drinks off the beaten path!

Mia T.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in Oakland, this is my go to with my nieces and nephews. They never disappoint! Love you Graffiti Pizza! Still have yet to check out the dine in experience, however the take home is just fine!

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
I love the pizza here!! Both the pizza and the crust are so bomb. We got a medium cloud pizza ($20). Comes with 8 big slices. Two will fill you up! The pizza comes with sausage, spinach, garlic, and ricotta. The bread they used tasted so fresh, and the combo of ingredients was mouthwatering. The pizza was beautiful with ricotta cheese "clouds". I didn't even know I liked ricotta until I had this pizza. The crust was like a perfect ending for each slice I ate. It was soft, crispy, and chewy all at the same time. Even tastier dipped in ranch. Garlic knots were really good too. I love their cloud pizza - I highly recommend trying it. I'll definitely be returning when I have another pizza craving. And I can't wait! I just need to make sure to order more ranch next time lol

Row G.

Yelp
This was my favorite pizza place in the Bay Area but the last time I visited the quality dropped significantly. The pizza was so greasy it felt soggy. The pizza wasn't crispy at all. It was so floppy it was hard to pick up, I don't know if the sogginess contributed to this but either way it was inedible. I ate 2 slices and threw the pizza away. To their defense I didn't see the usually staff their making pizza, but since the price point of the pizza is so high, I will not be coming here again.

Jude D.

Yelp
One thing I've always found weird about Oakland after moving from Brooklyn is that hella places close early, and late night pizza, even on a Friday night, can be hard to find. This place comes to the rescue tho, and you can get a drink while you wait for your food! Also, I have to admit the pizza is pretty reminiscent of New York style, which is obviously my favorite, with the greasy thin crust you gotta kinda fold over to eat. The slices are also huge, which is always a big plus in my book too! So glad I found this place!

Brian A.

Yelp
I ordered a pizza at 12:15 AM tonight and while walking over to pick up my pizza because they don't deliver and they're open till 1 AM. I ran into a friend when I got to Graffiedi pizza. I asked them as soon as I walked in nicely to hey could you split my pizza and half my large $47 pizza so that I can split it with my friend and walk home. the gal with tattoos all over her face said no flat out I then asked the other gal could you please slice my pizza in half and she said you're getting a reaction because it's seven minutes before closing time now they told me not to come over there until 1 AM to pick up my pizza, they wouldn't cut it in half. I then asked the pizza oven guy. Hey could you slice my pizza and half for me he wouldn't do it until I said hey, what's the deal and then he finally relented and gave me a mountain of shit for doing it. Like I asked him to bake me another entire pizza. What a turd. You're a pizza chef, not anything more than that. Lesson: avoid this place, they have no work ethic, entitled babies who are afraid to actually work for the extra $20 I gave them for their trouble of running a blade across my pizza after it had already been boxed. Boo Hoo, you children. The pizza wasn't that good, either. Too bad these reviews don't mean anything.

Jim G.

Yelp
This place has some of the best local pizza by the slice. The chef is a champion and has won awards for his pizza for a reason! They have a pretty cool indoor setup too. You have to find the miniature model of their restaurant. It's so detailed and accurate to the real thing! I would definitely choose this place if I'm hosting an event and need to feed lots of people. On the flip side, if you want delicious slices of pizza and a pint of beer, then this is the place to go to! The staff is also super friendly and helpful. This is as local Oakland as It can get. They also have a cool outdoor patio that you can chill with friends and family! Parking is also pretty easy. I highly recommend getting their combo-style pizza!

Susan C.

Yelp
$50 for a large pizza? You lost your goddamn mind!!! It's Pizza! Dough, sauce, cheese, and some toppings. What does it cost you at most to make? No more than three dollars.

La Donna S.

Yelp
Was in mood for a slice of pizza. Had a slice of pepperoni. Although it's reheated in there pizza oven, it's really good: good flavor, nice crust and a good price. Service was good. The area is sketchy, but this place firs right-in--grungy.

Khalid R.

Yelp
Hands down best pizza in the Bay Area. Can't say anything more but Yelp wants me to write a long post which is a waste of time just order a slice

Yelp
Hands down my favorite pizza since discovering it. The fact that its a female black-owned business is like +1 million points!!! The ingredients are super high quality and bread and dough is so chewy and fluffy!

Yelp
Love this place. My go to spot at midnight when I need to soak up all the liquor I had.

Yelp
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Placed an online order for pick up but the store never made it for 3+ hours despite confirming multiple times that it was just about ready. Turns out, they never made the order. The female cashier (white, black hair) was super rude, aggressive & not accommodating at all. She was even cussing at her coworkers and didn't allow us to talk to any one else. She kept hanging up the phone and wouldn't talk to us when we were in the store. Door Dash recommended to file a complaint and leave reviews. Thankfully Door Dash was able to give us a full refund for the $200 worth of order.

Yelp
Ordered a big pie online for a night in. We "created our own" with pepperoni and bacon. Now as a New Yorker who loves some pizza, I can agree with it being a New York styled slice, but just wish that the pizza was a bit crispier. Of course we got this delivered so that plays a factor. All in all, I'd like to try this pizza again, but when it's piping hot to get the true essence.

Yelp
I'm a fan of Graffiti pizza! Pizza-by-the slice or call ahead to order a pie for dine in or to go. Very casual environment with some 'fancy' (tasting) pizza...yummy! I know most people are all about the crust but I'm all about the sauce and Graffiti has the right balance: not too sweet, acidic, watery, good texture, etc. ...but get some sauce and cheese hitting the edges and 'no crust left behind' Nice sized slice and plenty for me...even my male coworkers who are big eaters said 1.5 slices (3 of them got 2 slices) is perfect...crust is a little flimsy (limp factor!) so you gotta fold it so the toppings don't slide from the generous sauce...did I mention I liked the sauce?! ** COLLABORATIVE CO-WORKER REVIEW ** Note: one self-declared "Grand Gastronomer" P R O S: = Very nice crust (assuming you like NY style) = Good amount/balance of crust, sauce, cheese = $5.75 does get you a very good sized slice = More options available by the slice than just cheese and pepperoni = Old School has nice chunks of sausage = Hands still smell like pizza after washing w/soap = Open late. Great for a snack after (fill in whatever activity!) C O N S = $5.75 for a slice = Forced to buy the slice- 45 min wait for whole pie = Hands still smell like pizza after washing w/soap = The Bus Hopper (spinach and mushroom) was a little bland (I thought it tasty) = Amount of toppings was nothing special Overall, we'd definitely return to order a whole pie and try other offerings. Located in Old Oakland and walking distance from 12th Street BART. Plenty of metered street parking.
