DEFINITELY NOT a 4.1⭐️ place!! I read some bad reviews so I wasn’t sure, but I gave it a chance and I have to say, this is not a 4.1-star place. It should be at least a 4.5. Great vibes, loved the style, safe, welcoming host, professional and quick service. The food was delicious and came out in less than 15 minutes. Honest pricing and great value for money. What else do you want? Give it a chance and support a local business!

Easy, relaxed spot for a casual lunch or a low‑key night out. We stopped in for sandwiches. There’s plenty of outdoor seating during the day, and by evening the whole place shifts into an open, lively bar.

We had our wedding at Gran Torino this summer. The food, drink, and overall vibe was excellent (as usual here), but above all the experience working with Ana and her team was perfection. She accommodated every request we had and were so flexible throughout the process, from custom menu items to the setup and arrangement of the space the day of. We could not have picked a better place for our wedding day. Thanks to Ana and the rest of the GT team!

Well priced drinks and tasty grub! Margarita pitchers are a hit. Love the outdoor seating and ambiance for a catchup with friends.

I walked in expecting to have a good cocktail and enjoy the vibe. I was not expecting the food to be SO GOOD. There is not a single thing we ordered that wasn’t top notch. Drinks are great Service is very hospitable. 100% will be back

We had our engagement party at Grand Torino in Brooklyn and it was simply amazing. With over 80 of our closest friends and family in attendance, the Velvet Room was spacious and inviting. The team truly went above and beyond for us. Ana was incredible in the planning stages, taking care of every little detail before the event, and on the day, Carlos made sure everything ran smoothly, helping us set up our decor and making us feel so at ease. The food was delicious and everyone had nothing but great things to say about it. Being in our favorite Brooklyn neighborhood made the whole day even more special. Overall, Grand Torino made our day unforgettable with their attentive, friendly service and a venue that feels both stylish and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our love.

This place has a huge space with a pool table and outdoor dining area. The food was alright but they’re probably more for bigger groups who are there to drink and hangout. We all liked the fig pizza the best out of all.

We just happened to stumble upon this place while in the neighborhood. The vibe was good, and the food was decent. To be fair, we didn't order much because it was a midday snack.

The reviews here are fascinating! I had a very wonderful experience for my first time at Gran Torino. We were seated in a very nice little outdoor section with only two other tables. The food was quite good and came out very fast. Our server was very attentive and kind. My only note is that if you serve vegan dressings or condiments, the servers should know if they are nut-based. Though the restaurant is very specific about eating elsewhere if you have any heavy food allergies. But all in all, it was a very pleasant evening of great food! I'll definitely be back!

Exploring Williamsburg and stopped in this place bc it was offering a reverse happy hour. Ordered the XXX martini, but it was too much of a dessert tasting martini. Friend was hungry and ordered a pizza, which was good and nicely priced, $10. Good place for a late night snack and drink for the reverse happy hour.

If weather was better, so much better for the outdoor space and cute. Kind of confused where to check in for reservations and my friend and I were waiting in different areas for 10 minutes not realizing we were both there. Seemed kind of unorganized in that way. I would say the spicy cucumber margarita was the best part, with a pitcher serving about 7-8 drinks which was a steal for the price-could be a bit more spicier/strong but v refreshing. The food was average, the chicken soup was good especially for the rainy weather. The pasta left something to be desired, potentially if a protein like chicken or something could be added but it felt a little doused in sauce so less could be better.

I love this place -- this was my second trip there, went with a friend looking for a burger and a beer and oh boy were we satisfied. It's an almost sprawling restaurant/bar with different rooms having very different feels -- we were in a room with a pool table, dim lights, and good music. Service is fantastic and fast, and whereas they denied my request for cheese fries, the alternative truffle fries were a delicious complement to an incredible burger and I left with no complaints. For context, I always ask for cheese fries if I'm at a place that ~might~ have them, and whereas I was initially disappointed, the end result of this was some bangin' truffle fries so I tip my cap to you, Gran Torino. I'll be back.

Gran Torino is located on a bustling corner in Brooklyn. It's a huge space for being smack dab in Brooklyn. They have a patio, a bar area, a smaller dining room, a larger dining room with another dining room off to the side, and even a basement. This place is huge! With so many different rooms with so many different vibes, I'd imagine this to be a great place for a night out or hosting a private event. The interior design was cool too with disco balls, retro Italian inspired decor, and even a pool table and stage in the main dining area. While the vibe was great, I wasn't impressed by the food. The burger my sister ordered left much to be desired and looked like it could've come from a hotel kitchen. Just mediocre. I got a side of potatoes which were not very flavorful and came with a weird, watery sauce that none of us could place what flavor it was. Judging by the other reviews, people seem to enjoy the food so maybe we came on an off day or just didn't order the right things? The coffee was fairly solid and they appeared to have some natural wines available in the bar area. If I were in the area again, I'd pop in for a coffee or happy hour but probably would stay away from the food. I liked the vibe enough that I wouldn't stay away but I'm also not rushing back.

Enjoyed the ambiance. Good music and wide assortment of drinks. We had the frozen marg and lychee martini. Had the pizza margarita - it was fine too. I would improve the service. Had to constantly look for help and the bartenders weren't really friendly either

Had a great experience at Gran Torino when looking for a dog friendly place on a Friday in December. Friendly staff, great chicken schnitzel sammie and hot chocolate and oat milk isn't extra if you want it in your coffee! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area?

First, let's all just agree that this is the most beautiful açaí bowl ever. Unfortunately it was kind of room temperature which made it not as delicious as it could've been. Overall the restaurant is pretty fun. I had one of the watermelon coolers (I think that's what it was called) and I was DELICIOUS. 10/10 mocktail!

Beautiful restaurant and great customer service. Terrible food. I ordered 2 slice of pizza because I needed something for lunch and it was the first pizza I couldn't finish. It was a struggle to chew on the cheese and after walking 3 min to my friend's place the food was cold so I warm it up in the microwave and the cheese became impossible to chew. Had to throw the second one away.

My first time here admittedly did not go great, but Ana with the restaurant was incredibly kind and helpful and invited my partner and I back, and our second time was so great!! I love the ambiance of the outdoor areas and the happy hour late-evening deals seem like an absolute steal!! I got the mushroom risotto the second time and it was great. Will definitely be going back, and thank you Ana for your help and attentive service!

Great vibe for nice weather! A huge fun space. The risotto was a bit watery for the price and my friend's vegetarian burger was slightly undercooked, so definitely more of a fun drinks and apps place.

Went with a group for a birthday. With the hostess' permission we moved from standing table to a table in the corner. The owner was insanely drunk and kicked us out for moving. He was rambling you don't know how a restaurant works and was behaving extremely unprofessional. Half of the staff looked embarrassed at his behavior and we immediately got out of there.

Went to Gran Torino for the first time on a rainy Saturday at 2pm so no wait. We didn't know they were still serving brunch until 4pm so we got a margarita pizza and house salad with chicken to share. I also ordered a matcha with oat milk which actually saved my life (it was sooooo good and only $4). The ambiance in the greenhouse room was nice and cozy lots of plants. The service was good, attentive server. Only 4 stars because the salad was pretty expensive for what it was ! But overall good experience

Awful experience. Got kicked out by the drunk owner for changing tables. Would absolutely not recommend this spot, there are so many better options in the area.

Wow the aesthetics here are so beautiful! Such a beautiful green room style dinning area that can be occupied in the colder months too! The service was quick and our server answered all our questions. The food was okay. We ordered a mushroom pizza and it was lacking a bit of flavor but still good. Generally Parmesan is a strong flavor but honestly that's all I could taste on the pizza. I would definitely go back and try something else.

Came by for a late brunch with my dad when we were in the area. No reservation & was able to walk right in. The place is huge for Williamsburg, so many different areas to eat in. Inside & outside, we ended up in the room with the pool table but it still felt restaurant-y & not like a bar. For food we ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana Bites to start. Devoured this, so good! The sauce had depth & the eggplant itself was fried perfectly. Definitely a need to order. The pizza menu was good, a mix of traditional & new age interesting. We went with the Salsiccia; it had pork sausage, scallions, ricotta, mozzarella & parmigiano reggiano. The sausage had a great spice to it & the scallions gave such a great onion like flavor. Might be one of my favorite pizza's I've had in awhile. Little hiccup, we did ask our waiter if this was a white pizza or if it had sauce & he did say that it had a red sauce on it so my dad was a little dissatisfied but I loved it! Great spot to come with friends or out of towners!

Good place to come with a big group, but the food is nothing special. The atmosphere is great, especially on a warm summer day. They also have drink pitchers which are fun to share with friends. Most of the food is good, but nothing to rave home about. There were a few disappointing dishes, like the quinoa bowl and fish tacos. Servers were really attentive and got everything right with our large party, so shout out to them.

Terrible, went in for an iced coffee and literally worst iced coffee we ever had. Some container with old and stale coffee. You should have seen the color, disgusting, we threw it out. Have fresh things on hand. we won't be back.

I've tried this place three different times in hopes that I could have a good experience since they have a great ambiance and is centrally located. Unfortunately Gran Torino is truly just a tourist trap. Food is exceptionally and consistently mediocre and as for the drinks... yikes. Came here one last time a couple weeks ago, and in our group of 5 not a single person was able to finish the drinks we ordered. This place has so much potential, but poorly executed. The hosts / hostesses are always friendly, but beyond that, and the great scenery they've crafted, there is no reason to come back.

Food was good we got their pretty late so it was off of their late night menu. They had like a different menu for every part of the day. Like 10 menus so im sure depending on what time you go you can find something. I got the NONNA MIA pizza- it was basically a margarita pizza with extra cheese. It was good standard pizza Service was good, and the outside was cute. Good overall

Santiago is the best bartender ever!!! Literally perfect for a birthday party! Best service and such a fun atmosphere!!!

This place has become one of my go to spots for dinner and drinks. Everyone who works here is always on top of everything they come around often and check if we need anything else. The place is very clean and we love all the plants they have. Each room has a different vibe to it which is really cool. The food and drinks are always great we have been here a few times and the quality has never changed. We got the fried calamari 10/10 crunchy, hot, and fresh not over breaded and perfect texture the marinara is perfect. Also got the eggplant bites omg you need to try these they are perfection I have never had eggplant that has tasted so good it's savory and bold in flavor 10/10. Also got the fig pizza so so good we never tried it before and the speck with the honey and fig all went together really well. Each bit was a different experience 10/10. For dessert we got the tiramisu very good as well you can actually taste the espresso like a true tiramisu 10/10. For drinks we got the hibiscus margarita and a mezcal margarita both great as well!

Came here on Sunday night late around 10:30pm. Here's a few things I like about this place: late happy hour, vegan options, and decor/setup of place. Drinks were good. For food: got classic burger & beyond meat burger which were both good. Only thing I didn't like was the crispy potato due to it being so hot (basically burned my mouth). That needs to be cooled down before you eat it. For late night place, I'd definitely revisit for happy hour. Lots to choose from the menu late at night. Only gave 4 stars because I didn't try any appetizers to give full review. Service was also good BUT it was slow for the day/time I went so consider that.

AÇAÍ BOWL FOR THE WIN great ambiance, great drinks and coffee, accommodating service. Service is a bit slow sometimes but I usually go solo to the bar and am helped quickly. I wish they allowed laptops during the weekends and after 4pm but the policy is understandable. Love this spot, I come here all the time. Can't wait to check out the pool table sometime at night with my friends.

This review is simply based on cocktails, not food: I went in at around 6:30 on a Wednesday. It was not very crowded so I had plenty of spots to choose from. Their happy hour starts at 10 so the drinks were regularly-priced. I got the XXX martini and an espresso martini. They weren't bad, but I've definitely had better elsewhere. 3/5 stars strictly based on drinks. I bumped it up to 4/5 stars because the environment was cute and fun. Bonus star for ~cute and fun~.

Went with a big group and we all got pizzas! So delish and such a cute atmosphere. You can't get seated until the whole party is there FYI.

Was reached out to by the manager and our experience was absolutely made up for! The food was delicious as I remembered and the service was great :) So glad I went back for a re do!!

Disappointed to say this place is homophobic. I loved the vibe here, but when I invited my partner to join me the bartender stopped serving us. There was one kind server who put in our order (and charged our card), while the different bartender ignored for 30 minutes, continuing to serve everyone around us. Mind, it was not a busy night.. We were checked in on again by the server who took our order; we watched him remind the bartender of our order, but the bartender shook his head and continued to ignore us. He never once looked at us. We waited for another 30 minutes before just asking for a refund and leaving. I have never felt so deliberately ignored. I alerted the manager of the bartender to explain why we asked for a refund for the drinks we never got. We felt like we had no choice but to leave. They wouldn't even bring us water. And during pride month!!!

The place is so much fun, unfortunately its extremely understaffed. We waited at least 10 to 12 minutes to get water. The food was good and we enjoyed sitting in the greenhouse with the great weather. Would love to go back but they need to staff better.

Visited here on Saturday afternoon by myself with a dog. They sometimes have a long line during a peak time (~6-8pm). Went at 4pm to avoid the peak time. Pretty low key italian place. They have indoor and outdoor (not on the street. They have an outdoor space on premises). Dogs are allowed in both indoor and outdoor. Just be really careful if you are bringing dog. They might find some foods on the ground/floor. They have a small cafe. A small convinient store and large dining area. Ordered two slices of pizza and coffe. Price is pretty reasonable for the quality. Enjoyed pizza and coffee. They serve various beers and wines. This restaurant is pretty good for solo or group. The outdoor space is definitely good for group hangout.

Ambience was great and it's pet friendly! I got the fish tacos, which were so good. VERY filling and lots of food for your money. Service was quick, just slow to refill the water at times. Would definitely return with friends or a casual date.

This place has lovely outdoor seating, good drinks, and decent food. I've been here a couple times now, and each time the service has been friendly and fairly quick. I do like that they have a late happy hour--however, I'm rarely so far from home that late, so I never get to be there for happy hour. It is a little bit of a bummer that their happy hour isn't earlier since it would be such a great place for it!

This was a big, fun restaurant that was good to go to for my birthday dinner. Their outdoor space is definitely the pull to this place. Our service was pretty bad throughout the night unfortunately -- we were a group of 9 or so but we were calm so not sure why. The food was mediocre all around I'd say, but the drinks were good! I think I would return to try some new things and just enjoy the space, but definitely not the best restaurant in Williamsburg.

I used to go here alot with my friends . Now I no longer go . Hey hired a short Al Salvador lady Im guessing she's the manager I go there with my friend and everytime she sees people of color. she gives us an attitude and also shows anger and wants us to leave . She should know we don't do that in this country. I don't want no free meal or coupon from this . I'll be happy if they fire her . Thanks peace

What a fun place. Anywhere that has a working outdoor BBQ pit and an actual rowboat for decoration is going to be serious about fun.this place is on a corner of Williamsburg and depending upon which side you're looking at it, it looks like multiple places. Even inside there are a few distinct rooms. But to be fair, what caught our eyes was the sign saying dog-friendly. Turns out much of Williamsburg is dog friendly. But having a sign clearly state that is smart since we were out with our pooch. We sat in the large patio-like area which was technically outdoors while being covered and sheltered from the weather if it doesn't cooperate. So ambiance - check. Service was fine - they even provided a water bowl for our dog. They have the now ubiquitous QR code based website for their menu. We had a glass of Prosecco (very nice). We ordered the crab cake burger with a side of the potatoes (crispy and amazing!) and the Gran Torino salad with smoked salmon. The crabcake itself was encouraging-it wasn't actually jumbo lump but it wasn't the shredded imitation kind. It came on a toasted bun topped with lettuce, coleslaw, and some remoulade sauce. The coleslaw was a new one for me.it was tasty but itwas pretty wet that it compromised the crunchy exterior of the crab cake. But it was definitely tasty and of good quality all things considered. The salad was actually really good. It had cucumbers, alfalfa sprouts, roasted corn, chick peas, avocado, tomatoes and red quinoa. I'm not a salad person and guys, I didn't even douse it with salad dressing like I normally do! Frankly, it felt kind of like being in LA. Although I didn't order any, they do offer reasonably priced coffees and oat milk with no upcharge. Probably the only minor gripe was a somewhat limited lunch menu without a theme. But better than a huge menu with mediocre food. Definitely recommended.

Really exceptional casual outdoor spot great for brunch, lunch, happy hour, or dinner! Good spot for families or for friends. Service a bit slow but plenty nice staff. Salad was delicious although wouldn't recommend the cold brew.

One of my favorite "Sunday funday" spots to grab a few drinks and chat with friends. Everyone is super kind, the vibe is great and the espresso martinis are amazinggggggggggggg.

We stopped by for drinks before heading to dinner on Christmas night. We were not disappointed at all. The decor is off the charts for someone from upstate New York. The bartender was the nicest guy. One of the first times ever probably that a bartender has given me a glass of water with my drink without having to ask. The drinks were nice. My old fashioned was STRONG in a good way. The place is decked out and the vibes are definitely vibing here. We loved it. Would love to be back here for a meal.

The only great thing about here is the atmosphere. Staff mediocre. Food was terrible. I ordered a Burrata salad which lacked so much flavor I couldn't even finish it. My SO ordered the tomato soup, which was watery. Additionally, the drinks (mulled wine, bloody Maria) were barely drinkable. Definitely not worth $67 (before tip). Will not be back & would recommend against.

Came here for a nightcap on a Thursday night and was happy with my vodka soda! I wish I came hungry so I could've tried their pizza but it was just a cocktail kind of an evening and it hit the spot. Great ambiance, friendly bartender, great music (80s!), and plenty of seats inside.

I was out and about Friday night, the sweet hint of summer energy in the air. Gran Torino has a to-go drinks window, which I happily joined. I ordered a spicy cucumber margarita, and wow was it what I wanted. The perfect mix of spicy and fresh - no cheap mixer being used here. I would definitely come back for more margaritas.

Stopped in with a friend for a mid-day pick-me-up. The cutest, most quirky little spot in a pool of cookie cutter shops! Amazing, super close to the water and subway, and the caramel latte was delicious! Great service.

I came here and ordered to go from the deli counter for a quick and filling lunch. The sandwich I ordered (the chicken one) did not disappoint! The chicken was flavorful and moist and the focaccia bread tasted fresh. I did not see the dining area myself/dine there, but a friend had told me that it is a bit slow. For the take out situation that was not the case; they were quick. I was in and out within 10 minutes.
