"Crack into this lively seafood boil, pile on the by-the-pound seafood in buttery sauce or tour the rest of the menu – it’s impossible to go wrong. Non-seafood-fans will love the massive fried chicken sandwich and the ice cream cone desserts." - Eater Staff

"It’s a fresh seafood holiday as this Grand Avenue restaurant returns with take out options after being closed since the beginning of the pandemic. Order those Isaan spiced shrimp boils or snowcrab clusters to go." - Joy Summers

"Corn, potatoes, seafood and spice is what visitors will find at St. Paul’s Grand Catch. The spot has been making a splash since its debut last year with its crawfish boils and bright-blue exterior. It’s also a partnership with the chef/owner of Cajun Deli in case diners don’t want to venture to the ‘burbs to try his food." - Cinnamon Janzer

"Grand Catch is a new seafood restaurant that has been popular since its opening in mid-April. It features large vats of boiling seafood, vibrant decor, and a unique drink menu. The restaurant was conceived by brothers Sameh and Saed Wadi, along with Thien Ly, and offers a variety of seafood options boiled in custom-made pots with secret herb and spice blends. The menu also includes sandwiches, wings, and desserts. Grand Catch does not take reservations and is open daily from lunch through dinner." - Joy Summers

Great service. Cool ambiance. Amazing food. Had the Crawfish and King Crab boil, cheese fries with lobster, and shrimp toast (my favorite). Surprisingly spicy - I like some spicy and their Mild was just right. Shrimp Toast made my mouth burn. I don't think the level of spice is sustainable for Minnesota!

Went here last Saturday night with a good friend - very fun upbeat atmosphere & great food! We were on a shrimp theme that night but can't wait to try more seafood boil options next time. Salt & Pepper shrimp were good, & kale avocado salad was fantastic... And then we had don't serve ice cream, it was like cinnamon toast crunch in ice cream form - yum! Our server Elizabeth was top-notch - she helped us find our way through the menu & had great recommendations. Can't wait to go back again soon!

Delicious and delightful. Went for brunch and Jennifer was really helpful talking us through the menu. Everything we had was really flavorful and super well-balanced (eg, the spicy things had a depth of flavor besides the heat). The awesome sauce for the boil is great, shrimp toast was crispy and good, and the king crab benedict was decadent. Do not sleep on the soft serve!

Yuuuummmmm! First time and I loved it. We had a boil with awesome sauce and it was indeed awesome. Cocktails were also delicious! I had the Grand Old Fashion, Mez-call Me Saul (my fave of the three) and Boyfriends & Girlfriends. Next time I’d definitely add rice to dump in to the sauce at the end and eat. I’d skip the Jonah crab claws. They are frustrating to eat and not worth it. I’d also eat at the bar instead of a table.

Tried this place for the first time, and was not disappointed. Ordered the medium catch with awesome sauce seasoning. It was very flavorful, and the assortment of seafood was very good. It was a little pricey at $62, but that's what you pay for when you want quality seafood. Did not have to wait long for the order to arrive, and we were given all the utensils to eat without having to ask for anything else. Nice ambiance, would definitely come back for more.

Authentic seafood prepared the right way! Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable and made the experience very enjoyable. I got the special which came with over 4 oz. of lobster and my wife got the small portion seafood boil. Both dishes were very fresh!

Swung by for brunch, was not disappointed. I had the King Crab Benedict and Sweet Corn Pancakes, both were amazing. From the seafood I had I assume the rest of the menu is great as well. If you're in the area I recommend stopping by.

Service was friendly and thorough! My family & I felt comfortable there. Has outdoor seatings in the front of restaurant on sidewalk areas which we preferred. Parking is off street. Cajun food was delicious 😋! Definitely be back. Overall atmosphere of dinning outdoor & feeling the Grand Ave vibe was nice.
