Where to Get Grown-up Versions of Childhood Favorites for Takeout in Seattle

"This five-year-old bakery in Ravenna built a following at farmers markets and serves a variety of treats, including croissants. But the showstopper has always been the shop’s frosted mini pie “Top Tarts” (likely named as such to avoid copyright issues), filled with cinnamon and fruit. Available for pickup and local delivery." - Gabe Guarente

Grand Central Bakery Opens in Wedgwood and Previews Wallingford Cafe - Eater Seattle

"One of Seattle’s top spots for fresh pastries and bread, 29-year-old Grand Central Bakery — home of the famous como loaf — opened its new Wedgwood cafe today. The space is relatively bright and light-filled, with large windows along the front, white tile, and plenty of light wood accents. It has outdoor seating as well." - Adam H. Callaghan

You know, I want to like this place but it just doesn’t do it for me. It’s too corporate, not cozy or comfortable. The food doesn’t inspire. Very forgettable.

I love this bakery and I finally made it into the cafe. It was a great, focused environment and I was able to complete a bunch of work and enjoy some small talk with fellow patrons. Staff was great, food looks delicious and I enjoy Victrola coffee. It was a good experience and I’ll definitely be back. They have a variety of sitting options and ample room. Noise level was not too bad.

I love this location of Grand Central! They are always clean, they have great customer service and plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. I got my seasonal sandwich to go this round. The Bristol Bay salmon sandwich has got to be their best sandwich I have had from them. The capers and the smokiness of the salmon plus their fresh baked bread was an addicting combination. The fennel and the onions gave this sandwich a nice twist. Every ingredient complimented each other well. I could have eaten 2 of these in one sitting it was so good. I ordered my sandwich the day before because their seasonal selections are limited. It was worth it to order it a day ahead to guarantee I could get one. Pickup was easy-I scheduled it at the time I wanted to pick it up and it was ready when I came. Their website is easy to navigate and also make adjustments to your order.

Google
Lovely spacious bakery and cafe with plenty of seating (outdoor picnic tables available too) and nice environment for reading or working a while. Their seasonal veggie garden sandwich was amazing - great mash (peas and avocado?), seasoned veggies and fresh lettuce all perfectly elevated with a pickle and Ballard hot sauce! The chocolate croissant was great with a hot latte too and we picked up some fresh bread for the week. Definitely will come back with a book and try their rhubarb tarts and danishes and more sandwiches!

Google
Fantastic bakery! The iced brioche cinnamon rolls are amazing! We also enjoyed their hot tea, coffee and hot chocolate with homemade whip cream! If you're in the area definitely stop by!

Google
Excellent neighborhood bakery! We tried a ham & leak quiche, chocolate croissant, ham and cheese croissant and a sticky bun, all of them were great. There are several tables in a modern setting, and they have two small tables for outdoor seating. They have their own small parking lot. Service was fast (despite the line on a Sunday morning) and friendly. We'll be back for sure to try the many other baked goods and sandwiches!

Delicious blueberry muffin! parking lot on north side of building. After driving a bus past this for months, am very happy to finally be inside!

Google
WOW!!! I drive past here everyday and this place always has cars lined up in the street. I saw the pizza dough sign and let me tell you WOW. They gave me whole wheat instead of original dough. Yeah I just ordered 2 more whole wheat and 3 regular pizza doughs. I did make mine on a stone on the Treager to the exact direction to cook.

Yelp
Quality bread!!! I love picking up fresh loaves and having lunch here. Online pick up is super convenient. The turkey chutney is my favorite sandwich. Kale salad is good too!

Yelp
I was lucky enough to visit Grand Central Bakery on a quaint Sunday afternoon and there was only a small line and quick service. You can also order online if you would prefer not to wait at all. The staff were very knowledgeable and kind in suggesting me a loaf of bread to have with avocado. 5/5 for service. I went with his suggestion of a rustic baguette, which was a little expensive at around $4. This is where one star was lost. Maybe it was intended to be like this, but I thought the bread was too crusty. The crust was very hard and I felt like I was going to cut my mouth eating it. This is the second star. Despite the hard exterior though, the inside was pretty soft. Flavor wise, it was nothing special. I prefer the bread at La Parisienne in Belltown instead. They also make a lot of variations of sourdough, pastries, sandwiches, and drinks. It seems to be a nice place to sit and work in with lots of natural light and ample seating.

Yelp
Good food, but I thought Grateful Bread was slow...I needed to bring a tent and a sleeping bag while waiting for my mobile order. I could have binge watched an entire Netflix series waiting for a breakfast sandwich!
google avatar

Lana B.

Yelp
If you order online and pick it up - then the problem of slow service is solved! That's my go to now. I order online, park on 34th street, go to the window and pick up my order, and get my food without waiting so long. I love the Como bread and I recently tried the kale salad which is delicious. I also like the turkey sandwich with chutney.

Yelp
This place is a pleasant surprise and offers good tasting goods baked with solid fundamentals at a reasonable price. I'm used to local bakeries around here offering pretentious overbuilt menu items at outrageous prices. The food here is simple but effective. I really like their seasonal red shrimp sandwich. The bread has the depth of flavor and texture of a fresh baked roll and the shrimp salad filling was surprisingly generous and refreshing. I got a take home bake pie and it was very good as well. Not too sweet with flaky aromatic dough. At 25 dollars it was cheaper, tastier, and more substantial than most pies sold in specialty bake shops in the area. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, but it does take a little long to get your order out and that reduces the convenience of stopping here for a snack on the way to work.

Yelp
I ordered two sandwiches for pickup via their website! I ordered the sandwiches yesterday online, and that was super nice to have them ready today at the pickup time! We ordered two Bristol Bay sandwiches. I absolutely love the flavor of this sandwich and hope it becomes a permanent menu item. The quality was outstanding and I really enjoyed it overall. There are two things that would turn this 4 star review into a 5 star though. 1) They do NOT send notifications to you when the food is ready, you are expected to show up at the time chosen. This is totally fair, but I wish it was more explicitly mentioned that they DON'T send notifications, or they they would revisit this. I called in to check and all was fine, thankfully. Not the biggest deal, but it would be nice. 2) The tomatoes on the sandwich were too big-I just took mine out and ate them on the side. The flavor was solid but especially for eating a sandwich on the go, I want to try and keep nice and tidy. The pickled onions, cream cheese and smoked salmon really hit the spot! I have not had the pleasure of dining in person, but I would in the future!

Gracie H.

Yelp
I would say the food is good. Service is slow and unfriendly. Small parking lot. $20 for a ham sandwich and small coffee.

Yelp
Fantastic Bakery looking forward to making tuna sandwiches with the multigrain whole wheat the staff was was great and the bread slicer machine was neat. I noticed they also carry other brands that I'm a big fan of, like Portland's Tao of the tea and Oregon Growers, all around a great experience and looking forward to next time.

Yelp
I recently moved to the area and have been looking for places to hole up in for little study/work sessions. This place hit all my marks: it has ample seating, reliable wifi, plenty of outlets, and great food and coffee. I don't think this is the best place for a 'grab and go' situation, since the orders can take a bit of time -- but it was perfect for what I was looking for.

Yelp
I like to do my work from home at cafes around Seattle, and this is by far one of the best options. They have great food, I have tried their breakfast biscuit, tuna melt, and tons of the pastries. I always leave super satisfied with the food and the coffee! The employees are fast and really helpful when I ask for recommendations. There's at least 15 seats inside to work from and a few outdoor tables. Plus the Wi-Fi has been really reliable!

Yelp
Sometimes, it's the simplest things. On a warm, lazy summer's day, I wanted nothing but a salad and an iced tea with lemon. Thinking Grand Central was more of a carbified bakery, I wasn't hoping for much. I'm glad I was so wrong. The chicken tarragon salad and iced tea with lemon hit just right. My recent breakup with carbs and sugar wasn't an issue in the slightest; I deftly sidestepped the brioche cinnamon rolls, giant cookies and strawberry frangipane, but left feeling none the more deprived. Thanks for the amazing flavors, healthy options and friendly service, guys! Will return soon. (Five stars reserved for Michelin restaurants like Jean-Georges only; no other reason for docking a star!)

Yelp
How I've missed Grand Central Bakery! I used to visit the Pioneer Square location often pre-COVID when working downtown. Today, I visited the Wedgewood location. ORDERING: I ordered my food online in advance. They share the estimated prep time and the last pick-up time. You can schedule if you'd like to pick up your food at a later time. They have a number of locations, so be sure to choose the correct spot. PARKING: I parked in the residential area to the west of 35th Ave. They may be a parking lot next to the coin shop? Unsure. SANDWICHES: I got the Happy Goat sandwich and my partner got the Blue Ribbon. SO delicious. I have had the BR before and the pickled red onions is really a game changer for texture and kick. The Happy Goat was so tasty. A nice layer of chevre, a solid layer of shredded carrots as their seasonal veggies, and the zesty chimichurri adds wonderful flavor. Absolutely love them! PASTRY: I couldn't decide between the ginger molasses cookie, the almond croissant, and the ginger scone. Ended up going with the almond croissant, idk if I've had theirs before. It has a tasty almond creme filling and of course is buttery, airy, and delicious! I don't often get almond croissants, but I was pleasantly surprised to have an almond filling and not just almond topping. I'll certainly visit Grand Central again for their delicious sandwiches and pastries.

Yelp
Ok, I hate to be this person today but wow was i disappointed by my experience at grand central bakery in Wedgwood. I know the hospitality industry is hurting and I'd like to support them, but wow was this unexpected. I've always wanted to stop by this location since they opened but I'll tell ya now, skip it! I ordered a breakfast sandwich and after asking a couple more questions about what else I could buy and about the bakery, the person taking my order seemed like she was taking an order at mcDonalds. She knew nothing about the products they sell, Oh well a missed opportunity to sell me something she thought was special. I chalked that up to training issues. Then I go to pick up my custom ordered breakfast sandwich which took 10 minutes to make so expected a tasty little meal when I got this home. My husband the recipient called me back to the kitchen to look at what I had brought him home, he mentioned McDonalds like sandwich if they didn't care about their product, I laughed because this guy isn't picky. He wouldn't even eat it! I looked at it and was embarrassed! I've included a picture, no hand made relish, bacon was limp and old and egg looked like it was microwaved. Lack luster sandwich, in fact I think McDonalds breakfast sandwiches offer more! For upwards of $8.00 this is a miss don't waste your time here!

Lorraine S.

Yelp
it's best to order something cold from the pastry case. otherwise, it could take up to 20 minutes for a cup of soup. no exaggeration.

Jacklyn D.

Yelp
the pastries and vibes are always good, and they serve breakfast until noon :) good place to grab a sweet treat or breakfast sandwich

Yelp
We love their almond croissant but noticed the price went up almost double and the size of the croissant reduced to half the size.

Yelp
So good I came back while visiting friends in Seattle this weekend. First trip was chaotic, but expected on a Saturday AM. We hot some olive bread, a rustic baguette and some pastries...all delicious. Second trip was for a breakfast sandwich and a loaf of sourdough (which they were out of on trip #1). I built my own sandwich--egg, bacon, cheddar and lettuce on ciabatta roll. Glad I didn't add the tomato relish on the sandwich. It was delicious but overpowering for a breakfast sandwich...would be great for a lunchtime addition. And their bread is great--not super-sour but nice chew and great crust! I'd definitely be back next time I'm in Seattle.

Yelp
Hello no you DON'T have bollo rolls at the Burien Cafe. And they also said I can't order them there plus there is no listing of bollo rolls on you website. Finally QFC says they only take what you give them to shelve. So there is some disconnect here that YOU are not aware of

Randy B.

Yelp
Imagine a bakery where half the time you order a sandwich, they either run out of the bread it typically comes on or some other ingredient such as tomatoes for a BLT. Yes, that would be Grand Central Bakery. In fact, a few years back I ordered their Blue Ribbon sandwich which usually comes with roast beef, but they ran out that day so suggested that I substitute turkey instead. As it turns out, I actually enjoyed that better than the normal one. So I have been ordering it this way almost weekly the past few years. Last week, they informed me that they could no longer do this one single simple substitution because of corporate's new policy (despite the fact that they like to claim their sandwiches are made-to-order). Additionally, that day they had also run out of bread for sandwiches so had to use their Bolo Rolls instead (something I'm all too familiar with). It's sad to see that GCB no longer values good customer service the way they used to. Unfortunately, we will no longer bring our business there as lots of other great options in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Not a fan of their baked goods, they look beautiful but tend to be dry or overcooked. Iced coffee is watery.
google avatar

April M.

Yelp
WiFi not quite working right now. Staff wasn't able to help me, so not the best place to get work done as of yet - I'm sure they're still transitioning to having people back dining in. Had a great, flaky and fluffy croissant though and the coffee is great. Staff very friendly.

Yelp
I'm very disappointed in Grand Central Bakery. I placed an order to be picked up 15 minutes early because of an event that we were hosting. They were very inflexible and said it was too much of an inconvenience. I reached out to their management team and they emailed me back stating the same. Grateful bread on the other hand, right down the street was very generous, very gracious and willing to help out. Grateful bread has earned my loyal business from now on.

Yelp
Have loved stopping by here on a near weekly basis for the past several months. I have always had a super pleasant experience with all of the employees and appreciate that they're always so friendly! My favorites include the iced coffee, fresh baked cinnamon roll, and the fresh fruit coffee cake. Plus, love the COVID friendly walk up window!

Yelp
*Updating my review* This place has still not figured out how to cut down their wait time. Wait time for one sandwich at 10:45am on a Wednesday is still 20-30 minutes. I just don't get it. I really enjoy their food/pastries but having now gone there 3-4 times, the wait time is extremely slow as others have mentioned (25-30 minutes for a single breakfast sandwich is nuts). They also messed up on my to-go order which of course I didn't notice until I got home. Not a huge deal, but also not that hard. Was excited to have them nearby but not sure it's worth waiti

Ken A.

Yelp
Rose from GCB took care of me and my sandwich situation. Great customer service! The tuna salad is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I have been a weekly customer since this whole plague thing started. I went less frequently before, but meant to go more often. I'm so, so glad to have a good place to go since I don't eat much take-out food regularly. Every-single-time I get the most delicious sandwiches, and the mochas are always perfect. I bought 'take and bake' pies for holiday last year (One apple, one marionberry), my FIL and SIL never had Grand Central before. We all agreed it was the best pie we'd ever had, just delicious. I don't eat many pastries, but the peanut butter cookies? The BEST. There was one instance where there was a mis-communication with my sandwich order, and it was quickly resolved, and I was sent a card for two complimentary sack lunches (sandwich, chips, and cookie) without any hesitation, so I would say I am completely happy with having this marvelous place within walking distance of my house. I've routinely bought SO much from there, sandwiches, cookies, coffees, cans of tuna!, bags of coffee, jars of jam, farm fresh eggs! If they wanted to sell me a kitchen sink, I'd be AOK with that! I would give them six stars if I could. The people there? They are SO nice. Always upbeat and friendly! I can't think of one thing to say that isn't praise to the skies. I love Grand Central Bakery!

Yelp
They have amazing seeded rolls that they use Use for some of their sandwiches. Their veggie sub is really good and it's easy outdoor pickup during covid.
google avatar

Yelp
The egg and cheese biscuit was exceptional! I also liked the croissants and muffins. My friends are crazy about the cinnamon rolls and the coffee cake. The service was friendly and the shop clean and pleasant environment. I'll keep coming back!

Yelp
Grand Central Bakery is a game changer for this neighborhood. It's so nice to have a healthy, walkable lunch option vs having to drive to the University Village or beyond. The food is super fresh and tasty--the turkey chutney, tuna melt, green salad and chocolate chip cookies are among my staples. The staff is extremely pleasant and competent. I've ordered lunch to go dozens of times now and my order has always been accurate and ready on-time.

Yelp
Grand Central Bakery - it breaks my heart to leave a bad review but I have to. Every Wednesday my daughter & I get sandwiches for lunch, today I decided to try GCB's sandwiches & was SO disappointed!!! I had the veggie grinder - it was literally 1 piece of lettuce, 6 Mama Lil's peppers, some avocado & 2 pieces of cheese while being caked in mayo. I have never had such a horrible sandwich - I literally make better sandwiches at home. Then my daughters sandwich - they used very porous bread & again caked on mayonnaise so with every bite she took mayonnaise would squirt out all sides. We made our order a sack lunch & the cookie which we received was rock hard. So disappointing. No one can deny that GCB has amazing breads to take home & serve with a meal. And the donut muffin is really yummy. But beyond that I wouldn't waste my time on any of the menu items. Plus the wait for two poorly made sandwiches was quite ridiculous.

Carolina M.

Yelp
Amazing place. The chedar egg biscuit sandwich is great. The employees are super nice and friendly

Yelp
I was so excited to see Grand Central Bakery come to the neighborhood. We desperately need new and quality options. Then - after standing 15 minutes in line to purchase a pre-made sandwich and still only half way to the register - I gave up. There were two registers, with only one in operation, and the staff clearly had no care whatsoever in speeding things up. I don't care how good the food is, or supporting local, businesses should be aware of the basics of demand and supply. Welcome to the neighborhood. I'm keeping my business at Grateful Bread down the street. Great food. Great service. Caring staff.

Yelp
GUYS! This place was incredible! I had the best coffee cake I've ever had. It is the fresh fruit coffee cake and it was so incredible. I also got a couple other items recommended by the staff and they did not fail me either. Everyone was super fantastic and 10/10 recommend you eat here!
google avatar

Michiko N.

Yelp
Loved their pastries, sandwiches and latte! The pastries tend to be burned a little bit, but they still taste good. My favorite is Blue Ribbon sandwich which has roast beef and blue cheese mayo, and I switch the bread from potato to como. It's really comfy inside. I'll be a frequent customer here!
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
Love the Covid protocols. I have been hesitant to go to places due to indoor dining. You don't even have to go inside to order here! Walk up window for ordering and pickup.

Matthew M.

Yelp
Grand Central Bakery is a very good bakery. They have delicious, fresh baked pastries that are always very tasty. The cookies aren't quite my style, but still good. The breakfast sandwiches are made fresh and are delicious. The coffee cake and Iced Cinnamon Roll are to die for. The pastries are so good that even going around lunch time they're liable to have sold out because they make everything so delicious and fresh! Yes, the wait time can be long, and parking's a drag, but order online/over the phone and get there early and you will not be disappointed! The people are always super friendly have always owned any mistake they've made.

Yelp
I hadn't been to this corner spot since it was a different bakery years ago but I was fortunate enough to be introduced to their food by a neighbor who bought treats from here recently. Specifically the coffee crumb cake with some sort of fruit in it was delectable and the mushroom quiche was both beautiful and delicious. I will definitely be making a stop here in the future for their other menu items that look incredible!

Yelp
Awesome toffee bun and great coffee. Looking forward to the loaf of potato brad we bought. That said they do have some kinks to work out in the made to order department. Waited 20 minutes for the wife's egg/avocado toast...had no salt and was not toasted. Took it back and they returned it toasted only on one slice. My egg/bacon croissant took 35 minutes to make. Bacon was chewy and croissant was slightly burned on the bottom. Overall great potential here. Optimistic they'll work through the kinks.

Yelp
Wanted to do 2.5 stars but I rounded up. This is a very average bakery imo. I stopped by today on my walk and they are doing great with their COVID precautions it seems! You order at a window and receive your food/drinks at another window. It's nice you can stay fully outside and don't even need to enter the establishment. I had a stroller with me so this was especially nice. I ordered an iced chai latte and was sadly very disappointed. I'm a frequent chai drinker and this might have been the worst chai I have ever had. I took a sip and threw it away. It was like sweet milk with a little cinnamon. Very strange. I also ordered a cheddar biscuit which was a little burnt and very dry:/ Also disappointing. We also got a blueberry muffin and it was okay, nothing special, but not bad. Overall very meh. Some of the other pastries looked good though, I might stop by again if I'm walking by, but wouldn't ever go out of my way to go here.
google avatar

Yelp
Tell you what, I ran in here for the good stuff...the pastries!! I was buying for the office today, a Friday treat for my team, and everyone raved about them today. Top winners: the pecan sticky bun, the Jammer, and oui oui, le pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant ). I took a break my nespresso at home today too and enjoyed one of their awesome cappuccinos. I'll be back with the crew soon for sure--our new Friday spot! THANKS Grand Central!!

Yelp
Amazing customer service! And Delicious baked goods. I Can't wait to try out more of the menu.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday night about 15 min before closing. We ordered a ham, egg, and Swiss sandwich, a salad, rum bar, and two drinks. Came to a little over $30. They were very kind in allowing us to stay and eat even though they were getting ready to close. The food did take a bit of time to come out, but not as bad as what others seemed to have experienced. Then again we were the only ones in the place with an order in the queue. The lady behind the counter was very nice and the sandwich was tasty. A little pricey, but I look forward to trying again as it is a neighborhood spot.

Yelp
I've come here for breakfast four times. I've had a variation on their breakfast sandwich each time and I have to say they do it right. They're a bit pricey but very good. Bacon & Egg on croissant: the croissant was a little over toasted and the egg a wasn't over easy as advertised (more like over medium). Bacon & Egg on bolo: I really liked the bolo. It was crusty and chewy and a little sour. Again, the egg was over medium, not easy as the menu stated. The next two times I ordered a build your own on a biscuit with cheddar, ham, and an over easy egg. This was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had period. The biscuit is legit. I lived 20yrs in the south and I know a good biscuit when I eat one :) the egg was cooked perfectly and the ham wasn't just lunch meat. My theory is that when you order one of the "stock" items on the menu that say they do an over easy egg, they actually go a bit longer so that you don't get surprised by yolk spurting out of your sandwich. I, for one, love that, but I get it. Basically, if you're like me and want a runny egg, ask for it. You'll get it. I'm going to have to try some of their other stuff someday...

Amanda A.

Yelp
I usually visit their location in Pioneer Square. This location has reserved parking. They don't have much of a variety of pastry location as other places. Nonetheless all of the pastries they do have are great as always. The staff here are really nice. They have this party called the latte dunker, ugh it's soo flaky and delicious. All of their puff pastry is delicious. They also sell pre-made pie dough. Each pastry runs from about $3-$5. My other favorite is the berry danish. Their coffee are ok nothing fancy about them. The only thing they i wish is they their staffer worked much quicker to serve the customers in line.

Yelp
This bakery's food is exceeded in quality only by its service. Its employees are friendly and helpful. We had a miscue on our order and when I asked that a portion be corrected, the entire lunch was refunded. This was so far beyond our expectations! The food was delicious. try the coffee cake; no matter the flavor, it's always delicious.

Yelp
If I could put negative, I would. I don't think anyone at this bakery care about reviews here. We like their baked goods so we go but never again,. Today as usual (on Saturday afternoon) the bakery is full of people, and this cashier lady (she must be in her 60s) is extremely slow. If she's taking her time to work I wait but she was chatting with customers in front of us and taking time. And there is this younger blond tattooed woman just slowly making boxes while more customers are coming and the line was getting long. She's just taking her time and not helping this only one cashier out. I made an eye contact to her but she knows exactly why we are getting annoyed but nope, she didn't care. Finally our turn and we started ordering. I tried to hurry up but then this older cashier said "wow, slow down" but "Look, there are people behind me!" and FINALLY red hair woman came to help out, then tattooed woman. FINALLY. seriously rude. At the end, this older cashier was slicing my bread, and the tattooed one told me to move so that another customer could pay. SERIOUSLY? If she stepped up right away, there weren't that many people waiting. I'm writing this because this isn't the first time. It happened just few weeks ago. Sure they are stuck there working but people come and go with what they want. I haven't seen customer service like that for a long time and came here and saw 3 star review over all and I'm not surprised. We won't go back again.

Yelp
I was super surprised to see a 3 star average, I had a delightful experience. I'm temporarily staying in the area and pass by this location everyday on my way to work and it always seems busy. I was driving by this morning and saw no line and lots of parking so I took my opportunity. I had the bolo breakfast sandwich and it didn't make it out of the parking lot, I also got a danish to share with my kiddo but might have accidentally eaten the entire thing because it was absolutely delicious. What he doesn't know can't hurt him. I also got some bread which was offered to be sliced for me and tastes amazing, my husband had the sausage biscuit and states it's one of the best breakfast sandwiches he's had in a long time, and he's a total breakfast sandwich snob. Now my sandwich was for sure salt to taste - which I appreciate. I see reviews talking about flavor expectations and like, we're not dining in. Menu items need to be salt and pepper to taste or else someone's going to freak out about the pepper and say it's to spicy or if it's salted someone's going to freak out because they are on a low sodium diet or something so I think how my food was prepared was excellent. The eggs were all cooked perfect, my almond milk latte was so nice and smooth, perfect temperature, and came out quick. My order took 12 minutes and considering someone had to go slice my bread, then my sandwiches are on another station so there's that, then my coffee is at a coffee station, then my pastry a was packaged. They needed to go to 4 areas to complete my order so even if it was 15-20 minutes I would not have been shocked considering this is made to order and I had modifications for my breakfast items. The staff was super nice, they communicated times to each other, and were all in motion. Super glad I found a nice spot to grab our bread and the occasional breakfast treat while we're in the area.

Yelp
What a great experience today 10/22 as I ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches. The tall gentleman that took my order was super helpful helping me use my apple pay. He was so kind and upbeat in a weird uncertain time. The barista and the cook were just so awesome and happy. Thank you GC employees for making my wait so upbeat, your positive attitudes were contagious! Everyone waiting on the sidewalk were smiling and happy. I never post on yelp but GCB food and service was just wonderful today!

Yelp
Ordered a sack lunch to go. An hour later opened it to realize they forgot to include the turkey on the Turkey Deluxe sandwich. No answer at the cafe when I called. I'm not sure how you forget the first ingredient.

Yelp
Absolutely terrible. We asked for a latte with almond milk and received a dairy latte with almond flavoring. When we went back to explain in a respectful manner, we were met with an attitude. Not only that, the SAME MUG was used and it was still a dairy latte with diluted almond syrup. Thanks for giving me the sh*ts.
