"I visited Grand Central Bakery’s new Wedgwood café at 7501 35th Ave. NE and found a relatively bright, light-filled space with large front windows, white tile, light wood accents, and outdoor seating. As a 29-year-old bakery and home of the famous como loaf, the shop is one of Seattle’s top spots for fresh pastries and bread and offers a huge selection of treats like cheese danish and cinnamon rolls, as well as soups and salads, bake-at-home items (frozen pies, potpies, pie and pizza dough), Victrola Coffee Roasters’ coffee and espresso, and amazing sandwiches made with plenty of local ingredients, including seasonal selections and breakfast favorites such as a fluffy buttermilk biscuit sandwich with scrambled egg and a sausage patty. The café’s hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily." - Adam H. Callaghan
