The 22 Essential Dim Sum Restaurants in Los Angeles

"For great dim sum without the wait, head to Grand Harbour in Temple City. The prices are on the higher side for standard (har gow, siu mai, and pineapple buns) and more unique dim sum (fresh lobster congee, purple yam buns, and deep-fried chicken cartilage). There are no carts, so use the paper checklist to order. Grand Harbour also has a number of lunch specials Monday through Friday and offers online ordering." - Kristie Hang

I dont know why there are so many not so good review on this place, but both times I have been here it has been pretty good, at least the food. The latest time I came was for a birthday, and we celebrated in a room that they had Karaoke. The room fit 3 big tables, and it was pretty spacious. The staff were quite nice, and I believe the food was really good as well. What stood out to me was the Lobster, Truffle Chicken, and the Filet Mignon. I’m sorry that I dont have the official names, as the dishes were preset and brought to our table. You just gotta look at the picture, and if you think it looks good, then go for it. This is a great place for anyone to celebrate any occasion, and the private room made it that much more exclusive. If you are planning an event, and want GOOD food, then look no further.

Nicole Chu

Google
The dim sum is satisfactory, but unimpressive in terms of value for money. We felt like we spent a lot and ate very little. The dishes are categorised into small, medium and large, costing $5.38, $6.68 and $7.38, respectively. There are also special/premium ones that cost even more. They do offer a discount during the weekday in which you can get 20% off your bill if you pay before noon and 10% after noon. I don’t think it’s worth it to come on the weekend because it already stung with the discount.

Andy Tzeng

Google
Made a reservation for private banquet room for 7 people and ordered their set menu that is roughly $90/person for a menu for 10 people. Overall standard dishes that were great with friendly service. Lobster, Peking duck, filet mignon, all great staple dishes.

Google
Located in a shopping mall but step inside and you feel like you are in a grand restaurant in Hong Kong.. it is outdated glamour.. a little too much for me. As for the food,,, they have all day special for $12.99 . We tried 3 dishes. House special chicken was good but nothing special. Pork belly with tofu was not good,, and steamed tilapia was ok…

S Chang

Google
Went for the dinner specials. Most plates were under 13 bucks. Portion size was good. Taste was ok. Service was a bit slow. Maybe due to short staff??? Many people leave with take out boxes. Better than cooking at home.

Virginia Wong

Google
Good selection of special dinner. Rice not included though. They use frozen clams which are dry. Versus the nearby red 99 uses the fresh ones. Service is good and attentive. Changed our plates a few times. Tea is good. Ambiance is great.

Google
Here for a 12 table wedding reception and loved it! Attentive but unobtrusive service. Recommend Whole Lobster on Noodles, Pineapple Puff Pastry, Steamed Fish, Peking Duck, and Crsipy Skin Piglet; everything was good though.

Google
Was just here. People kept telling me it wasn't good, but after I was brought here, it actually was decent food. But it was a super busy evening with birthdays, and Lunar New Year dinners going on, so it was party city! Service was OK, but you really had to flag people down, because things were hectic. But the staff maintained their cool! I'd come back again.

Yelp
We came here at around 8:00pm on the night before Thanksgiving. Food: 4/5 We ordered three entrees, one side dish, and one soup. The three dishes were really good. The pork chops were crispy, the tofu was well marinated, and the steamed fish was good. Their fried rice was alright but lacked presentation. Their soup however was bland and watered down. We ordered their soup of the day which was the lotus root. I'm sure it was because it was the end of the night, they probably just kept adding water without adding more meat or veggies. It was so bland that our family laughed at how it was like drinking water. Price: 4/5 This place has a dinner special menu and their normal menu. I would 100% recommend ordering their dinner special menu which is around $13.00 per dish. Their normal menu was like $25-$50 per dish. I would say this place is a little pricier than your normal Chinese seafood restaurant. Service: 4/5 We understand that we came here near the end of the night but they were out of several dishes we tried to order. Aside from that, the severs were attentive and the food came out pretty quickly. Ambiance: 5/5 Very typical looking Chinese seafood restaurant. Very clean and well lit inside.

Yelp
Baked dim sum plates are soggy and buns look like rashly made. Their service is even worse than the food. The black main menu is so torn and you won't dare to touch it.

Yelp
2.7 is brutal (nov2024); solid 4 stars from me, and we've been here multiple times for dim sum and their 12.80 menu dinner across the board, their dim sum is slightly above average and carries a slightly above average cost when compared to other small dim sum restaurants nearby (~.50-1$ more/ea) this, however, did not used to be the case! per my parents, their prices were so exorbitantly high for such a long time that they had to bring in this 12.80 dinner menu -- the food which, you would imagine, is cooked in the same kitchen and by the same chefs that serve $200 abalone and a $10k tasting menu (or whatever it is, i'll upload new pictures for everyone next time cause the ones on here are very old) for dim, i felt the bbq pork white radish pastry is extremely well made, and their yangzhou fried rice has just the right texture to make you never want to stop eating it. sadly i don't think their selection of congee is all that great, but we did order a beef long noodle that was surprisingly good, though there must be 2 on the menu because last time we got the wrong one anyways, if you haven't been here yet, i think it's absolutely worth giving a shot, especially seeing as how inflation nowadays has reduced the price gap between this restaurant and all the others thank you for the meals!

Yelp
Amazing service!!! All the workers over there are actually really nice and friendly!! The food dishes are delicious and very yummy as well!! The menu prices are reasonable too!! I definitely will come back over there again in Temple City, California when I get the chance to!!!! Five stars is exactly my total rating!!! Thank you guys so much for everything!!

Yelp
I don't have a super high standard for dim sum. As long as it's decent and good enough, I'm glad. I'm happy with the basic har gow and soy mai. Food came out fast and service is prompt. We arrived just when they opened so there was no wait for a table. Good dim sum fix and price is pretty good.

Yelp
Honestly, this place isn't bad. Grand Harbor has been around for a while, it's a big restaurant and it's good for a quick dim sum gathering or hosting a celebratory dinner. If you finish brunch/lunch before a certain hour, I believe you get a discount on your check also. It's a no-frill kind of place as all Chinese restaurants are. I came here for dim sum with my parents for the first time recently, and had asked for hot sauce and hot mustard. The waiter dropped both items off and I thought the hot sauce looked odd - it had a brownish tint to it as opposed to the "dou ban jiang" that usually has a brighter red color. My parents tried it, said it tasted normal, and we continued on with our meal. It wasn't until later that it hit me, that the restaurant had replaced the hot sauce with hot salsa, since you can buy that bulk probably cheaper in California than the real hot sauce that should be used for dim sum. I was honestly a bit disappointed for how they thought they can fool their patrons, but I guess a business is a business...

Yelp
Came here for some Dim Sum at 1pm on a Sunday. We were sat down within 10 minutes. I've had a lot of dim sum but I'd say nothing really stood out to me. Luckily I didn't particularly run into bad service here unlike some of the other reviews I've been seeing. I felt like the selection of dim sum didn't seem very appealing to me and my parents. We got: Steamed tofu with beef-this was our favorite dish surprisingly. The tofu texture and flavoring was on point Pan fried radish cake-not a fan of the bean sprouts it came with and it was t pan fried for long enough so it felt like it was just steamed Cha siu bao (bbq pork bun)- this was ok but it was advertised as bbq pork with abalone sauce and it just tasted like a normal cha siu bao Shrimp rice noodle roll- I liked that it came with some veggies and this was good but kinda just average Har gow (shrimp dumpling)- it's usually one of my fave dishes at dim sum but this one was kinda mid and the skin fell apart too easily lava custard bun- this was pretty good! These are usually harder to make and these were yummy Steamed pork ribs- these were pretty good but also advertised as having abalone sauce but I couldn't taste a difference from other dim sum spare ribs I've had in the past Overall I feel like the dim sum here was just ok and not justifiable for its price point.

Yelp
Came for a birthday family style banquet. They have a house special menu where many entrees are around $12.80. We got 8 items and a soup which was enough for 5 people. Pork belly and tofu dishes were good. The steamed fish needed more flavor but luckily had enough sauce on the side. We also brought our own cake which they brought dishes, knife and candle at no extra cake fee.

Yelp
Today is 12/24/24 come here for dim sum. The service is terrible. guys don't come here

Yelp
3.5 stars Came out here for father's day w/ the whole family. We order quite a bit of food - fried rice, chow mein, steamed tilapia, walnut shrimp, basil clams, salt pepper pork chops, ong choy, & some other veggie dish. Everything we had was pretty tasty, except for the pork & veggie dish. The salt pepper pork had a strange chemical taste to it...I can't pinpoint what was wrong with it, but it wasn't good to me. Service was good, everything came out around the same time, so we weren't twindling our thumbs wondering when the next dish would come. Definitely recommend the clams, walnut shrimp, & fried rice! I heard they serve dim sum, but I haven't tried it. Free parking on site.

Yelp
Came here for lunch. I told hostess I would like a table for one. She gave me a hard menu with English translation and a paper menu to mark for ordering. Glancing over the menu, I noticed sadly that dim sum prices have been increasing over the years. I ordered a couple dim sum dishes : Beef chow fun w cilantro (small) Egg tofu with beef Mango pudding (dessert) Both dishes were as expected and I ate every last bite. Dessert was a treat. It was served cold and had pieces of mango fruit mixed in. Service was more than satisfactory and when I asked for something , my request was taken care of in a timely manner. This is a beautiful restaurant with extra touches that enhance the elegant atmosphere. I saw numerous fish tanks which indicates fresh seafood is offered as well. There are private rooms available here. However , you must order a minimum per room size . Different prices for lunch and dinner. For instance, 10 person room Lunch: $300 Dinner :$600 In my opinion, Dim sum is better when you come with family / friends because you can order more dishes and enjoy additional plates.

Yelp
I've been to Grand Harbor plenty of times for dim sum, but this time I came for a private dinner. Overall I was very pleased with the attentive service and the food selection. Please note that some of these food items I had are likely not on the menu, as it was a curated private event. However, I still wanted to write this review because it showed that this restaurant not only can do dim sum, but has a diversity of unique flare and flavors. The dishes had unique vegetables, like squash vine stems, and were absolutely delicious. The seafood was also top notch with crab and lobster. The veggies soup felt hearty. The sweet soup dessert was unlike anything I've had before using ingredients like fermented glutinous rice. The waiters constantly changed our plates so we had clean ones. The restaurant decor is what I'd describe as "bling".

Yelp
My family and I went on Labor Day Monday for dinner and there weren't that many people, so there wasn't much of a wait. Grand Harbor offers amazing dinner deals through their specials menu. The dishes we ordered ranged from $12-$14 each, which is honestly a great deal compared to other Cantonese restaurants. They offer decent sized portions for the price, and it was more than enough for four people to eat. We ordered char siu, roasted pork belly, steamed chicken and soup. All were delicious and would definitely come back again! The waitress mentioned that they were super busy in the morning for dim sum, which I gotta check out one of these days!

Yelp
WORST DIM SUM PLACE ON EARTH. I refuse to come back. I am typing this as I leave this terrible restaurant. This is the fifth time I've had terrible service and the is one was the absolute worst one! I finished work earlier and finished a recertification ACLS class afterwards so I had time to get some dim sum for breakfast. Now this place is close by to my house and was on the way back, that was my first mistake. Firstly the hours on Yelp aren't correct. They open at 9:30AM. But that's okay cause they opened the doors around 9:34AM. Anyways, I order on the paper by 9:36AM. I wait in the front, by now it's 10AM. I asked the lady in the front if my food was on the way. She said oh let me check. She tells me in Cantonese that it's still being made. The other guy with glasses joins in and says yeah yeah it'll be fast. Just a few minutes! Then they ask did you pay yet? I said uhh no? They're like why haven't you paid you need to pay! go okay? I mean no one offered me the check or told me to pay, but alright. I pay, and they continue saying yeah yeah almost done. Anyways, I give my card, get it back, and sign. No one comes to get the check back. They pass by for the next ten minutes and not do anything. There's literally the lady sitting in the front, but I'm like I just wanna go. It's 10:12AM. Anyways, I'm sitting in the lobby or waiting area. No one is there. I decided to move the check onto the front table, and I guess the lady noticed, came out to the front, and took it, immediately she opens it and ask what?! How come you didn't put down tip?! I snapped. I told this lady it's been like 40 minutes and I haven't gotten my food and you think I'm gonna tip you people?! She was like okay okay. The audacity of these people! By 10:20AM, I was planning on asking for a refund. Anyways right when I got up to ask the lady she goes let me check let me check, out of the side, the guy in the glasses says oh the order is ready the order is ready. I'm like okay where is it? He points off to the side and goes it's over there! You go get it! Basically they want me to walk into the back of the restaurant to go grab my food. I was shocked, because you made me wait this long, ask me to tip you, and then make me get up and go walk into the back of the restaurant. You guys literally look and me point your finger at the food, telling me to go grab it. I'm over it at this point. The service is dog water. Absolute trash. I would never come here again and I would tell anyone to never come here too. I honestly this they have no manners here. 冇家教! The food is so so too. My shrimp rice noodle tastes expired. There's better dim sum places out here in the 626. Ambiance is meh. Don't come here unless you like waiting and starving.

Yelp
On September 6th, I purchased a roast duck from your takeout section, only to find it was spoiled. Unfortunately, my child had already eaten two pieces before we realized the issue. The next morning, I called the restaurant at (626) 309-9998, and I was instructed to contact the roast meat section directly. When I did, they asked me to return the entire box of roast duck for a refund. Fortunately, I hadn't thrown it away and had my neighbors to verify that the duck was spoiled at the time. On September 7th, I returned the duck to the restaurant, but they refused to issue a refund, claiming the manager was not available. This delay in resolving the issue is unacceptable.

Yelp
AVOID THIS PLACE! HORRIBLE SERVICE! Terrible service and the worst dim sum experience ever--avoid this place! The service deserves zero stars. From the moment we walked in, the server was rude and unwelcoming. He asked what tea we wanted before we even sat down and was visibly annoyed when we didn't respond immediately or speak Chinese. He ignored us multiple times, even when we tried to place our order. Even when we made eye contact with him, he would literally walk past our table. I had to raise my voice to say, "We're ready to order please!" just to get his attention. When we asked for spicy mustard, he pretended not to understand even though other tables had it. I also showed him a photo and he still said they don't have that and what is that a picture of. Seriously?! We had to ask another server to get it for us. He never checked on us or refilled our tea (which they charge for) and only catered to the Chinese-speaking tables around us. This was a horrible experience--wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews. I WILL NEVER RETURN.
google avatar

Yvonne C.

Yelp
The food was okay, the service sucks ass. Like why would anyone want to come here with the lack of service. We sat down, got our tea and then had to wave a waiter down to finally have our order taken. Idc how good the food is, I shouldn't have to wave a waiter down. It's not even like their food was above and beyond. The restaurant is kinda on the smaller side and it feels like we were squished together, I like the lights though. Parking is available right outside but it gets super busy bc there's a lot of other establishments in the same plaza. Too many other dim sum spots to come back here again.
google avatar

Derrick K.

Yelp
Not too sure why the rating on Yelp is so bad for this place because I had a really great dim sum experience here! Everything we ordered from the har gow, shu mai, and Cheung fun all the way to the Ham Sui Gok and chicken feet were really delicious! They are quick with the food and are pretty good with their service as well! Everything at the table was clean well and it's a more elegant dim sum without the carts rolling around!
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
This place is good overall but they are badly organized! We had 11 people and waited over an hour. They kept seating seating everyone who came after us and every time we asked, the lady would say would say one moment and we wouldn't hear from her. They finally sat us in a room at a very tight table. The place doesn't do carts, you just order. Food came out pretty fast and was good but the turnip that we ordered was not fried. Overall this place is good but didn't like that we had to wait that long and got such a small table. Prob wouldn't come back.
google avatar

Aaron L.

Yelp
No no no. This is the worst restaurant. Selling the stinky chicken fingers. Food was terrible
google avatar

Lily V.

Yelp
My family come here often for dimsum. A few months ago they made their Shu mai differently so we stopped coming but recently they changed it back so we're back! Decorations is very fancy, there's usually a wait on weekends and holidays. The front hostess is very nice but be patient as during very busy times they'll be very overwhelmed. Tables all have white tablecloth, which they change each time. They provide tea upon sitting and you pay for each adult on the table. My aunt orders for us, they hand you an order menu and a pencil so you mark what you want. They also provide a menu booklet so you can see the photos of each item along with the English name and number. Our orders usually consists of Siu Mai, Shrimp Rice Noodles, BBQ Pork steamed buns, fried noodles in soy sauce, Chicken Feet, egg tarts, fried quicksand ball, ham sui gok, and pork ribs. Sometimes dumplings or har gow. Everything comes out relatively quick and fresh, servers will bring the items and cross them off on a receipt they provide. My favorites are the chicken feet, pork ribs, ham sui gok, and siu mai. Prices are in the more expensive side but their quality is better than most places I've been. If I want to treat someone to dim sum, I'd choose this place. Today was New Year's Day, we got there around 11:30, most tables had reservations but my aunt and uncle got a table for us earlier. Got very busy around 12ish. They ran out of Diet Coke but that's ok, I got a cup of ice and poured hot tea into it to make iced tea instead.
google avatar

Brenda L.

Yelp
Food is excellent. I asked for low salt and less oil, and yes they complied! The special price dinner menu is awesome.
google avatar

Ann P.

Yelp
A great place for casual dim sum. I will say that they don't have the carts so you don't get the real dim sum experience. You have to order and they bring the dishes out to you. The food is very fresh and it's a great place to just eat casually with family. I would say the max time to drive out to this place is about 20 minutes. Anything beyond 20 minutes is not really worth the time as there are so many better dim sum locations in the area.

Yelp
This is the most unfriendly and rude restaurant I have ever been to. The Chinese host lady in her 60s at the front hostess area on a Saturday morning greeted me in Chinese and I gave her a blank stare because I didn't understand. I told her I'm not Chinese and that I didn't understand her but that I needed a table for my group of 6 people and she gave me a dirty look and continued to talk to me in Chinese in a rude manner. Then without saying anything to me she went away and I hear her talking about me to other employees saying this lady said she doesn't understand Chinese in English! Oh so you do speak English but you choose to ignore me, give me dirty looks not say a single word in acknowledgment and seated us next to the bathroom just to say screw you because I don't speak Chinese: I asked multiple waitstaff who the manager is and they couldn't tell me who the manager was. It is 2024! Please don't assume everyone is Chinese in America just because I'm Asian. This is why you have 2.5 stars! Never going here again. I couldn't taste the food because you left such an awful first impression and I was too offended to eat.
google avatar

R T.

Yelp
$10 for 5 pieces of pork. Granted this is take out but come on. Horrible! Go to Sam woos instead
google avatar

Mikki N.

Yelp
First, we waited a while after sitting down, but no waiter came. We had to flag them down to get their attention. It was not very busy, either. The food was good; some of it was just okay. I'm really only giving it one star because of the hidden fees that they didn't tell us about until we were in the middle of eating and hadn't even received all of our food yet. Fees for what? The tea sets, the small plates that no other place charges us for, and the sauces. They really should tell us there are fees for those. It's incredibly shady to me. I really hope they're not ripping off the elders. I'm never coming back here again. Shady and money hungry to me.
google avatar

Charlise W.

Yelp
The wait time was so long. I ordered at 5:15 PM, and TWO HOURS later, I was still waiting on all the food to come out. The food is pretty good, especially the lobster fried noodles. DO NOT recommend!!!
google avatar

Francine L.

Yelp
Grand Harbor has steadily been around the place for years but I haven't ever tried their dim sum I did end up coming here for a dinner celebration. We got a room that could fit about 30 people tightly but it still worked. Service was nice and pretty on point for the dinner. When we needed water we got pitchers of water with ice cups. Tea is pretty strong so I did mix it with water. For this dinner, I had lobster noodles, deep-fried crab, deep-fried tofu and seafood bits, deep-fried frog, and some other items. For dessert, we had different buns with lotus inside and some brown soft bread and light brown colored bread kind of like a sponge cake. It is a very traditional Chinese dinner food and overall I have to say it wasn't bad but reminded me of the old school style of food. So if you want something that brings back memories this place could be a fit for you.

Yelp
You know what - I'm shocked that this place is rated so lowly...but then again, it pays to know people. I think my mom knew someone who frequents this place and so they were very kind and generous with us. We just held a small banquet for my mom's birthday here in a private room with 3 tables of 12-13 folks per table. Tighter than I like, but not bad at all. Room was equipped with 3 tvs & stereo system so that karaoke was rolling all night. they were also nice to provide 2 bottles of sodas per table. Service was wonderful all night, very attentive. Food rolled out one after another. Some of the dishes were yummy (peking duck, the BBQ platter, MALAI GOU, egg&scallop fried rice), and some were super forgettable (chicken & mushroom soup, steamed fish, abalone & veggies, tong yuan dessert). The food isn't THE best, but for ~$700/table (pre-tax & tip), I think this is considered well-rounded these days. We brought our own cakes (they supplied plates, forks and a giant cake knife) & decor. We came about an hour early to set up our balloon arch. Take down was easy and they were willing to trash our balloons for us, so that was really nice of them. Everyone was VERY full. We had sooo many leftovers, the staff brought us sooo many take out boxes and bags.

Yelp
If you want to find very good food inexpensive this is the place they have very authentic dim sum and also the barbecue baby pork the best barbecue pork and also a lot of a stirfry food that you should try! Go to a restaurant if your owner is the real Chef 江振誠, then you will have very good food with very fair price Some other team some restaurant are good but to expensive here at Grand Harbor do you find the chefs authentic food and you enjoy the price !

Verlina W.

Yelp
The service is very slow. I ordered jasmine tea and tasted like water. Young chow fried rice is bland. Lotsa rice no shrimp and no bbq pork. The beef fillet was decent so was the shrimp black bean sauce. But I won't recommend to go to this restaurant. It was a lost

Yelp
COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is massive, but during peak business hours and weekends, this parking lot will be packed. Lots of parking spots, but some of them are smaller than others. Food: I ordered the BBQ Pork rice plate. It comes with some veggies too. Big portions, so totally worth the price. The BBQ pork was so yummy. The sauce was bomb too, and they drench the jasmine white rice with the BBQ pork sauce, so it's double tasty. The steamed and boiled veggies were also very delicious too. Staff: The staff here are very kind, friendly, and fast. They accept cash.
google avatar

Yelp
This is probably one of the best Dim Sum places in SGV. The parking lot is typical crazy Asian chaos so beware but you will find a spot. Coming inside, there is plenty of tables and chairs. The food is very delicious and perhaps it helped that I came with Canto speakers. They did all the ordering! My company even came here a couple of years ago for our Christmas party. It is a very spacious restaurant. The bathroom is hidden in the wall, it blends in (the door handle is clear and the door is gold) and is towards the back. They serve Jasmine tea (it's pretty strong) and they are good about refilling it and checking if we have enough. I definitely recommend this place! P.S. They have the best fried rice!! I have had plenty of fried rice at Chinese restaurants but this one was really good! Something about it is extra tasty and it doesn't make you have to drink a lot of water after.

Yelp
Service is bad . Food came out cold and ask to re heat . Waitess giving us attitude. Last time eating here .

Yelp
So sad to receive those bbq pork and sausage from a well known restaurant. I asked the lady for a good piece too. ‍ We got it and tried it within an hour. It is not like we leave them out for a long time. I never seen bbq pork like this before, very very dry and the texture doesn't look right to us. They do look like fake meat. My husband tried it and he said "it is not edible". Please do some quality control and check your food. Don't give your customers spoiled food. Don't think we will come back again.

Yelp
Authentic Chinese Food, handle the sea foods via typical Guangdong/Hong Kong/southern China style. Fresh and good quality foods.

Yelp
Came here for Chinese New Year Eve dinner and the food was delicious! we rented out a room for 14 people, and they have Chinese karaoke available as well, making it very festive and fun. We ordered a lot of food including Herbal soup, abalone, sea cucumber, large crab, bass, wagyu French style filet mignon cubes, and more! Super stuffed and the servers were great at switching out the plates for us. I'll have to come back for dim sum or regular dinner, but after that feast, my standards for this place is pretty high now!

Yelp
My sister and I went there for lunch today . Ordered two items -tofu with lettuce and honey sweet pork chops & 2 glasses of water . When we got the bill & were charged for 2 dollars per person for setting . I have never gone to any Resturant that will charge setting fee for lunch . It s Not the money but the principle is not right We felt being cheated . Bad customer service and food weren't good , they were lukewarm. We won't go there again.

Yelp
The foods here are traditional Chinese style . Price isn't friendly enough. Service is far tooo bad that can drive the customers CRAZY!! The waiters are rude. I am curious about whether they've got trained trained enough. How dare you can charge gratuity beyond 18%, I am wondering? NO RECOMMENDATION!! WON'T BE HERE AGAIN!

Yelp
You fancy folks ignore the to go BBQ place next door to the fancy smancy big brother. That place is with the real deals. Two kinds of BBQ meat, veg, and a whole hell a lot of jasmine rice -- so plentiful that it is capable of feeding a family of 4 (seriously) for all of a nifty price of $8.50. You would probably need to supplement in more veggies but you are definitely good with carbs and proteins. Super fresh and delicious.

Yelp
What's up: The family wanted to try this place out for their dim sum. We've seen it before with long lines so this time around, we went right when they opened. Parking: Going early is definitely better for parking. Located in the Elm Center Shopping Center, the parking is shared amongst the businesses there...and there are a lot. Some spots have time limits, so be wary where you park. Environment: The interior is nice and the tables were spread out. Masks are required except when eating. No dim sum carts here; order your food using the menu provided. The difficult part is that it's in Chinese, but they have pictures of the popular items shown. What was ordered: - Shui Mai - Tripe - Chicken Feet - XLB - Ma Lai Go - Beef Ball - Shrimp Cheung Fun - Lo Mai Gai Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. Overall, the food was good, but a bit pricey. Nothing super outstanding that stood out to us. Staff members came by every so often to refill our teas. It's also a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand for good quality, good value cooking. Credit cards are accepted.

Yelp
I don't often write yelp review, if I do, normally the place is either very good or very bad. In this case, it's great. My wife and I visited this restaurant on a whim on Monday. Both of us were very surprised with food freshness. We've tried at least 20+ dim sum places around U.S./Canada and dozen in LA area, we both agree that this restaurant might be one of the best we've ever visited. The restaurant is not new but it's clean including restroom. Services is good and food quality surprised us. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
We were absolutely stumped on what we wanted for lunch and decided on Yoshinoya (because we saw the coupons in the mail). We walked by their store front and smelled their delicious aroma, and decided to go with a half portion of duck. The transition was quick and easy, and quite tasty. We quickly went home to make a pot of rice. Will be adding this to our go-to!

Yelp
Service was great, and they were attentive and accommodating. We ordered 8 items but only 7 came out and we were already full, we explained to the waiter, and he was very apologetic and took it off our bill and brought us boxes and check right away. They said they accept American Express here but when they ran my card it was declined here, I called my card company and said everything was ok, so something on their end. My visa worked fine here. The dim sum came out promptly, and was delicious.

Yelp
TERRIBLE SERVICE! Waiters were unresponsive and held an attitude towards customers. They even had the audacity to ask for MORE TIPS! I paid the bill in cash and after getting change, a waiter purposely came to the table and took the bill holder to check the tip amount. He said it wasn't enough and asked for more. Another waiter came and checked again then set the bill holder on the table again. How RIDICULOUS!! Prices were highly increased. This was the family's go to yum cha location almost every weekend however NEVER AGAIN!

Yelp
The only dimsum and dinner place you need in the 626! The quality of the food is negatively correlated with the ratings. This is my family's go-to place for birthday celebrations. Service used to be subpar but have improved substantially since the pandemic. But it is part of the charm....

Yelp
1. Cleanness & Parking- BUSY/TIGHT, clean, no trash on floor, shared parking with other stores, but at least no fee nor limit, stressful to park 2. Contactless payment- didn't pay so not sure 3. Reservations/Appointment - first come first serve, got seated though pretty quickly 4. Customer Service/Assistance - all employees have been nice 5. Food - love me some dim sum in my reviews each star is given when they meet all my top necessities overall, definitely would return great quality food and very local dim sum

Yelp
I wouldn't recommend this place honestly. In terms of service, it was okay but not the best. It was also busy due to Father's Day but some of the orders never came even after we paid for the meal. There were many times we asked if our food was coming yet, but either they were too busy or they simply forgot. For the price, I don't think the food was anything to write home about. Very limited dim sum selection as well, so that was a big disappointment as we were recommended this place by family. There are many other dim sum places for cheaper, with better food and service in the same area. The thing that really brings it down to one star however, is the bug we found in the tea and the piece of hair we found in the noodles. Would not recommend.
