Love this park... very well maintained... Lots of parking and just steps from the Town Centre... you'll also find some cute bunnies 🐇 if you go for a walk early morning 💚

Google
Nice safe dog friendly park with good views, walking paths, open field, children's playground and picnic area with charcoal grills. It's adjacent to many restaurants and a movie theater.

Raymond Halim (Ray Halim)

Google
The garden is nice and well maintained, good for a gathering place and can bring the children to play, and you can also barbecue here. There is a place for children to play too

Google
Nice park. Great place to spend the 4th of July.

Google
Grand Park is a very clean, friendly, and convenient park for everyone. Very easy access to the shopping area and right next to the theater.

Google
This is my go-to place as it is very close to my house. You can see the entire valley and ohhhh, the sun rises...magnificent! It's a feel good place and everyone is friendly. Take a visit and see for yourself.

Nilka Dabare

Google
Nice place to see a movie have a bite and do your banking or just relax a nice range of shops

Google
Nice place for a concert in the park. There's restaurants nearby to get food, drinks, use the restroom, etc. The field has a good slope making it easy to see the stage. The dance area is big enough, but can get a little crowded.

Yelp
Wonderful park with great views, sadly no ramp from parking area to grass / bench area, street curbs are too tall so wheelchair users cannot access, very disappointing. The city must fix!

Yelp
Trashed by untamed wild animals. Though it has beautiful views and the perfect set up for family gatherings, there seems to be a growing number of local parents lacking on their responsibility to properly raise their children, & this is their favorite meeting ground. Kids leave their trash everywhere, graffiti the benches, lash out, and leave bongs laid out publicly. My only recommendation is to show up ready to crack the whip and consider it a public service.

Yelp
This park is right by the Aliso Viejo Town Center. It has a lot of fun city events and activities. I've been their for a few events, including 4th of July and it was great. The city goes all out and always has fun things going on. It is also nice it is located right by the Town Center since there is a lot to do there. Parking can be tough since it gets very crowded at the Town Center - especially if their is an event or if it is a weekend day or night.

Yelp
A park with a SPECTACULAR VIEW! It is located above the Aliso Viejo Town Center. Nice little play area for the little kids complete with a shaded sandbox, slides and swings! Nice that it is gated so the little ones can't run off. Comes complete with picnic tables and grills. I always pick up a doggie bag while on my walk on either Saturday or Sunday morning and I must say Shiro just loves frolicking here. The City of Aliso Viejo holds a number of outdoor events at the lower amphitheater of Grand Park throughout the year. There are no bathrooms here and the traffic is quite fast here. So, parents please keep a close eye on your little ones. Five star park for a quick break with a breath taking view!

Yelp
Gorgeous views, huge grassy area, gated playground, and next door to a shopping plaza with restaurants! This is a prime location for a park. The playground sits on top of the hill, and is gated to keep runaway kids at bay. Next to the playground are parking spots, benches and grills, and overlooks the valley and the Saddleback mountains. A wide, grassy hill sits next to the playground and at the foot of the hill is the Aliso Viejo town center fountain, with bars and restaurants on each side.During the summer, this is the prime spot for the Aliso Viejo 4th of July festivities with movies every weekend held on the lawn, concerts, and the fireworks show. Check out the sunrise by the playground if you're up early enough. It's gorgeous!

Yelp
I have gone here a couple of times during COVID. It is never busy which makes it awesome. There is ample tables you can use to eat your take out without being next to people even if it's outdoor dining. It's pretty quiet here and if you prefer to have a picnic style take out dining with your mats, there's plenty of area too. It's close to dine in restaurants where you can just easily pick up pizza, Thai food, sandwiches, etc and bring it to the park and enjoy without the fear of being at risk Of being in contact with others.

Yelp
A lot of community events happen here, from movies to concerts to fireworks or local fairs and festivals. In the Town Center, close to entertainment, restaurants, shops and theaters. Easy to walk to from Aliso Creek, Enterprise, Vantis, City Lights or Pacific Park when there is an event and the usual parking is full. Bring your chairs, blankets and tons of water or soda, (no alcohol is aloud) and your snack of choice and save your spot early.

Yelp
This is a nice park! Grand Park is located in the middle of a large shopping strip mall. It is a nice piece of grassy goodness in-between a lot of concrete and commercialism. We visited this park several times after we had dinner in one of the many restaurants surrounding this park. It was a nice way to end an evening by just relaxing in the nice weather, breathing fresh air, and watching our daughter play in the grass. The park has a small amphitheater where many people can sit and relax. There are also great hills to climb up and then roll down, as we saw many kids doing. Just in front of the grassy area is a huge fountain that you can sit around and listen to the water. We liked the water fountain, but we had to work to keep our daughter out of the water. She so wanted to jump in and go swimming. Overall, it is a nice park to sit and enjoy yourself and relax after eating too much for dinner.

Yelp
Went here recently for a reggae concert and loved it. The venue is large and the free concerts are great. It is somewhat hard to find, but if you bop and weave to the back of the shopping plaza it is situated next to Buffalo Wild Wings. Plenty of parking, but beware that you might have to hike quite a bit to get to the amphitheater.

Yelp
One of our favorite parks with the best view of Orange County. The park is gated so parents with little kids don't have to worry about their kids running into the street. There is a lot of picnic benches w/ barbecues that are perfect for park play dates. I recommend getting an ice cream from the town center and then walking it up to the park with your kids after dinner

Yelp
Such a beautiful and peaceful park! I almost alway feel safe when I go to this park. Very family friendly (there's a playground too), has a couple of BBQ grills, and picnic benches/tables.

Yelp
Possibly the worst large park in California. There is nothing here. The playground is small and lame. Next to a road that cars speed through. There is no bathroom ( an annoying trend for newer parks), and no shade. Gets some greenery and a better playground and a bathroom and maybe it could deserve three stars.

Yelp
This has to be my least favorite park in Southern California. I had heard good things about it and I am really disappointed. The play area is pretty boring. I didn't see anything original or fun. There's a gate surrounding the play area, so what? Newsflash: if you need a gated park to not watch your kids you are a total and complete moron. The 2 stars are for the water fountain at the bottom of the hill. When I was little I remember the excitement of going to Griffith Park on the weekends. Its not gated and somehow people are still okay. There are so many better parks around LA and Orange County that are more fun.

Yelp
I love having this park right next to home! A lot of great AV Community Association events happen here such as the SnowFest, Fall Harvest, and 4th of July fireworks show. In the summer they also have concerts in the amphitheater area and family movie nights on the grass. All this and you get a spectacular view of Saddleback and the valley. There's something for everyone at Grand Park!

Yelp
This has to be one of my favourite parks in Aliso Viejo. It has a gorgeous view and a great Walk up/down the park area. some of the best views in AV! what I love about this park is the actual playground has a big fence with a foot around it so it is very safe to let your toddler toddle around without having to stare at her every second. if you go past the playground, there is a HUGE green grass area with trees lining the edges. this is so rare to have this in Aliso Viejo! there is a nice path at the side going down to the town Centre- very convenient, especially those who live in the Vantis neighbourhood (the neighbourhood around the grass/playground).

Yelp
This park has one of the best views in Aliso Viejo. There is also a tot lot, outdoor amphitheater, walking trails, picnic tables, and charcoal grills. I walk my dog, Suki, here when we have time. My community is located adjacent so it's pretty close by. I just wish that there was a dog park but they have dog bag dispensers and plenty of trash cans. There's a path that leads you down to the park and into the heart of Aliso Viejo Town Center. For the most part, the park is well kept. They offer free concerts and movies in the summer paid for by AVCA. They also hold the 4th of July fireworks here. Those are my mello roos dollars at work, so enjoy!

Yelp
This is a nice quiet park with great views. I needed a break so I took a quick drive to the nearest park and this is where I landed. I just parked and took in the scenes for a little bit. It was so peaceful that I almost fell asleep a couple times.

Yelp
Come to the events, you won't be disappointed. Awesome family fun and very well supported by the community.

Yelp
The Park is very clean and well maintained. I love coming here especially when there is great events taking place.

Yelp
Check out the amphitheater design. Similar to Shakespearean design it will naturally amplify your voice for the audience when standing "center stage". It is located behind the fountain between Stadium Brewery and Buffalo Wild Wings. It may also help to wet your whistle at the brewery before giving it a shot.

Yelp
The city of Aliso Viejo uses this park for all its outdoor events. A wonderful place for concerts in the park and 4th of July fireworks.

Yelp
This was a really cool little park. I didn't get a chance to change out the entire thing, but it was fairly close to our hotel. It has a water fountain that I spent a lot of time trying to keep my 19 month old from trying to jump into and terraced grass hills that lots of other children had fun running up and rolling down. I'm sure they were dizzy by the bottom!

Albert H.

Yelp
This park is great if you have a toddler that is a runner. The playground is gated and covered which is nice but it is pretty small. My 3 year old seems to get bored here quickly. It has great shaded area for watching your kid play (or on your phone as it seems most of these parents are). Check my blog thatdadswag.blogspot.com

Yelp
This is a great park to bring the family to. There is a lot of room to run around, and a cool fountain. They have several concerts and movies during the summer. If you get hungry, there are lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Leslie L.

Yelp
Great views, good parking, love that it's gated and small so I can have an all around view of my kid from the bench. I can give him space and not hover and not stress about it. (He's 3) no swings but I'm ok with that. It can get crowded here though.

Yelp
local park right behind the town center by buffalo wings. always a great turn out for the holidays (: 4th of july is packed and the weekend typically theres something going on. its nice to have so close for just kicking back etc. I will suggest the need for a dog park however as the only negative (hence the 4 stars). Check the city website for the community calendar for a complete up to date list of local events and free concerts to be held here. (: Overall great park!
