An amazing place to come with your family! Very nice led lights, and the amount of lighting is perfect. The food is fabulous. But most of all the led lights are insanely nice. The server and host was very kind and very helpful when picking out food. Sharing plates seems to be a good idea. It has a tapas (small Mexican plates) type feel. Very nice. Especially the lights.

New place in Chicago which serves Indian Food..Dishes were served fresh, felt like fresh ingredients. Tried their Neehari and it was the best..sangrita was good and it had mezcal..I also got to get their boozy lassi, which was great. Hope Chef Prasad maintains the standards and with a seasonal changing menu...

Place was almost empty on Saturday evening. The bartender was working as a waiter too. My two dishes arrived with only one serving spoon. I requested some salt and it arrived in a tiny dish without a spoon! Food tasted good, but there was one dish which did not taste like how it should have tasted. Maybe their food is good for people who do not know the actual taste/recipe. Portions were unjustifiably small for the price paid & the cocktail was weak. I love dining out, but seriously regret spending my $ over there. Altogether the restaurant/service lacks something to be desired.

Just got some food from their delivery/carry out menu. I ordered pan roasted lamb chops which were beautifully cooked with medium spiciness, tender and juicy. The rice with potatoes that accompanied the rice was yummy too. The other item I ordered was spinach with goat meat. This was also delicious with just the right spiciness and tender meat. I am glad they have the carry out/ delivery option. Will definitely be ordering again.

We went to Grand Trunk Road because we were craving some Indian food on a cold, rainy day. I was very pleased with the quality and presentation of the food- perfect spice level & not saturated with cream like so many other Indian restaurants. This allowed me to enjoy the various plates we ordered without getting full too quickly. At the end of our meal, one of the employees (possibly an owner) asked us how dinner was and struck up a friendly convo. This place is a tad pricey, but I thought it was justified with the service.

I was so excited to check out Grand Trunk Road as we live just around the corner, and we are in need of good restaurants in the neighborhood. We were incredibly disappointed the moment we walked in the door where we waited for over 5 minutes for waitstaff to greet and seat us. There were only 4 occupied tables in the restaurant. We were patient as we know they're new but the service was awful, we sat for over 2.5 hours as our dishes were brought out 1 by 1 instead of a couple being brought together. For example, rice and naan were brought out alone after we received a curry dish. The food was very good, but the poor service in an empty restaurant won't bring us back anytime soon.

Apparently opened about a few weeks ago, the menu is quite nice with good vegetarian options. The ambiance is very nice and they seem to have a nice bar/beer list. The concept of the indian food is a bit different than traditional indian food, and we were a bit disappointed that some dishes arrived with a flavor profile that was not consistent with what we were expecting. The Chapli kebabs were a bit tough on the outside, which is not really what this dish should have. However the Sheekh Kebabs were excellent, and the Dal was quite tasty. The Onion Kulcha (Pyaazz) was not up to expectations, however the Naan's were spot on perfect, as can be expected from a Tandoor oven. Overall it was a nice dinner, but the service had a few quirks, which they were keen to overcome, and I expect will get ironed out with time, and the food was decent if not exceptional. I would go again, because the place has great potential and I am betting that they will improve with more experience.

Everything we ordered was delicious and so flavorful. The mushroom and cheese naan is warm, soft, and stuffed whith cheese and mushroom. We also had the eggplant curry, masala fish of the day, and cucumber salad. Every dish had a perfect balance of spices, zest and lots of flavor. The cocktails are creative and very good. To top it off, the service was nice, friendly, and quick. Highly recommend!
