Grand Victoria Hotel Taipei

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! 🌟 The service is outstanding — every member of staff is warm, polite, and goes out of their way to help with anything you need.|A special thanks to Sophie at reception, Michelle the manager and Simon the concierge. | Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfasts were fresh, tasty, and plentiful. The location was very convenient: right across the road from a shopping mall with a good food court, and only a short stroll to the train station. |And on our last day, they made sure to send me off with a birthday present of lovely macaroons from the hotel’s excellent bakery! A very lovely gesture. |I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area!

This was our 4th stay at Grand Victoria Hotel. The newly decorated Double Fashion Room is bright, trendy, and super functional—shower, toilet, and sink are all separate, so no waiting around! ||||We got a high-floor room facing the swimming pool, just as requested, with a marvelous view and stunning weather to enjoy. ||||The service remains unbeatable. Concierge, reception, and all staff always go the extra mile without even needing to ask. ||||Overall, Grand Victoria Hotel is a fantastic choice when visiting Taipei. We’ll definitely be back!

well it is exactly that, a small boutique luxury hotel, the location was okay, meaning access was difficult, but once you get there, the surroundings, mountains are quite good. The rooms were in great shape, great service we even got a free bottle of wine, and plenty of complimentary water bottle, and soda. I will stay longer next time. Best part it's near the national Palace museum if you're into that. there's a mall nearby, and plenty to do and quite restaurants for dining

Best for business travellers. Reason? Quiet area. One shopping mall opposite of hotel. Starbucks walking distance. One museum walking distance. Mia C'bon in Miramar Shopping Mall is excellent for snacks, wines and etc.

Our ten day stay at VR has been a wonderful experience thanks to the exceptional staff at La Festa. The breakfast my wife and I have had each day was so good that it had become our main meal of the day. Li Ching my wife being Taiwanese is more than happy with the wide Taiwanese selection of food and myself being English found the combination of western food and Taiwanese choices very tasty add to this the superb service of the whole team then we feel completely at home. The chef and waiting staff deserve an extra thanks for putting up with my English breakfast requests such as extra cutlery, crockery, tea pot and milk jug for my Breakfast tea, you provided me with everything I needed to make my breakfast even more enjoyable. Sometimes the chef would present a dish of the day which varied the selection even more. Chef Yan, sous-chef Mei, Ellan, and the young waiter who every time I put the bread in the toaster appeared with a warm plate for me, special thanks to them. A kinder, more friendly and efficient team I have rarely met on my travels.|I have passed the above to the staff it relates to in writing.|The reception desk could be more welcoming and a smile would brighten the day, having said this they are efficient. How about a little background music to improve the ambiance. Nathan at the bar went the extra mile and served us with super G&Ts, we rushed to get to the bar, 21.59 one minute before his closing time. The reception told us the bar was closed, wife said “let’s go for it”, thanks Nathan I had a hard day. |No time to even visit the swimming pool due to work. |Business centre very helpful and fast.|Rooms spacious, excellent amenities, plenty of water and kept very clean. |Hotel manger popped up all over the place keeping his eye on things I guess, nice chap.|I thoroughly recommend this hotel in Taipei to any International travellers coming for work or for pleasure.|We shall certainly be back.|This is a great hotel from all angles, well run.

Appreciate the assistance from the Reception and Concierge, especially Michelle Ting for her help with luggage problem.||Sadly it does not provide any complimentary toiletries. ||Would have welcome a second comfy chair in the Deluxe Bedroom.

Overall, our stay was quite good. The room itself was very spacious, and the cleaning ladies did a fabulous job with keeping it tidy. The staff was friendly and professional, and the amenities were quite nice. While we didn't swim in the pool itself, we hung out in the outside area and found it quite lovely. There was a wedding held on site, which made it pretty cute to see! We got no noise from the wedding in our room as well. Breakfast was fine, solid standard fare. Location is quite good.

This is a splendid hotel with stylish rooms and a very good breakfast buffet. Close to Songshan airport and Jinmiam Mountain (dont miss the short hike up with a beautiful view of the city) and not too far from the city center.

Had one fabulous stay at this fine hotel. Their personal touches really impressed me beyond description. The most noticeable shortcoming is their system isn't quite connected to their the Hilton mobile app. Therefore, it was virtually impossible to communicate or check out via the Hilton app. I sincerely hope the responsible parties can rectify the flaw. In addition, I hope they can fix the small jacuzzi next to the pool that is broken. Using it as child pool seemed inappropriate; my two cents.

This is part of the small luxury hotels collection. However, I don't think there is much luxury about it. It's located north or songshan airport a bit far from downtown but steps from nearest mrt brown line station. Miramar mall is across the street which is convenient. The breakfast buffet has limited options and leaves much to desire when compared to other hotels in Taipei. Service was excellent as everyone was very courteous, helpful, and pleasant. It is a nice touch that the minibar (non alcoholic) is complimentary and replenished daily. For a luxury hotel, the room amenities were lacking as the bathroom lacked typical things like dental kit, vanity kit (cotton swabs), shower cap, etc. the hand soap was a foam dispenser of a generic brand which seemed a little cheap. It is part of the Hilton group, so you can earn and redeem points, but I think I will stay elsewhere next time.

I have been coming to stay with them for over four years every business trip here and their service is always remarkable. This time is no exception from the great friendly staff, the clean and beautiful rooms to the delicious breakfast every morning. You can always find a big name hotel like a Marriott to stay at but no where will you find the personable service like at Grand Victoria. They are conveniently located in the business district and walking distance to the train station, Carrefour, Shopping centers, restaurants and the view on either side of the hotel is great. One side you get the morning and evening sun to see (pool view) or the Ferris wheel view on the other side.

Ok so apparently this is the cool place to get married these days. I've personally been to two weddings held here just this month! Both were held on the ground floor which was very nice. Large room with high ceiling with a big screen on each end. The sound quality was pretty good for a function room come to think of it. The foyer was nicely decorate, very elegant. They have a little dessert buffet set up with macarons and cakes at the entrance for the punctual guests as well as some bubbly~ (gets packed away before the event actually begins). The early bird gets the worm!! Food. It's decent. Not great. But for wedding food... I'd have to say it would probably be one of the better ones. They use lots of "fancy" ingredients - lobster, abalone... and finish off with a steamed turnip cake. But a word of advice, don't come hungry!! You only get a few bites for the first couple of dishes. I was was not satisfied until the turnip cake! - that's probably why I'm only giving this place 3 stars. It probably deserves 4 but they left me hungry for too long and now I'm bitter. Btw, there is underground parking - get the ticket stamped during the wedding reception and parking is free.

Nice interior and decent atmosphere. New and clean and organized. Decent service and speed and decent food. Red wine is not the best but alright and other drinks are available too. Not that crowded so it's nice. Rooms are from 5-10 and anything below are places you can use or spend time in. Decent place and a pretty convenient location with bus stops around and an MRT station at walking distance.

If you are looking for a venue to get married, Victoria is one of the best venues in Taipei for it! They have an outside area with flowers and romantic decorations for soon-to-be married couples to have a ceremony outside. During spring or summer, it can be really nice outside! As well, their venue inside is huge, and the customer service is great. The price of the set menu is a bit pricey, but the food is great. To me, I think it is worth it.
