The 22 Best Bars In Paris

"In an area changing from industrial and warehouses to bobo chic, Gravity stands out—the small cocktail bar near Canal Saint-Martin looks sort of futuristic with its curved counter and wavy ceiling. It’s also the happy medium between a dive bar and a fancy drinking spot, so you’ll find good drinks, natural wines, and seasonal tapas like scallop sashimi and duck confit. And since you’ve already made your way here for date nights or casual cocktails, you’ll want to stay for the ‘90s and 2000s R&B playlist." - tanisha townsend

The Best Restaurants in Paris | Bon Appétit

"The scenic Canal Saint-Martin neighborhood is stacked with bakeries and boutiques, making it an ideal spot to spend an afternoon. But return at night for Gravity Bar, and your reward will be an inventive cocktail in a lovely room with an open facade that looks out on a quiet block. The menu is robust, with drinks that are balanced and exciting. Take the Combattante: a savory Aquavit and stout cocktail that’s served foamy after being shaken with an egg white, served with a spoonful of ruby red tobiko on the side. On a recent visit, when the clock struck midnight, a server hopped on the bar to commemorate her birthday by pouring everyone shots, a delightfully raucous sight in the otherwise mellow and chic space." - ByThe Bon Appétit Staff & Contributors

The 24 Best Bars in Paris

"True to its name, you'll feel as if you bolted into outer space upon walking into this spot near Canal Saint-Martin. The bar itself is your space-ship, with concrete counters and curved slats of plywood that extend over the space via the ceiling. They like to shake things up here—both with classics (previously, they've infused their spritz with OJ) or their own creations (on a recent visit, we had the Cream Paie, made with Madera, crème de cacao, and almond-flavored crème fraîche). But while they've got around a dozen quirky cocktails to keep you sated, their wine and beer selection is top-notch, too." - Sara Lieberman

We went here to spend NYE night. Service was exceptionally great, food was amazing, and it had a cozy ambiance. Not sure that’s always the case - but we reserved a table and it was full around dinner time. Would recommend!

This was a charming bar with the most gracious waiter. He went above and beyond, offering us blankets when it got chilly and promptly opening the awning when it started to lightly rain. We ordered a vodka on ice and a gin and tonic, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service made for a delightful evening.

What a nice cocktail bar! Everything we tried here was fantastic from the beer, cocktails and food. We had a super nice evening with friends. The staff was super friendly and their recommendations were perfect! Will come back for more this is for sure. And the bar design is really beautiful. Congrats on making this (almost hidden) gems in Paris !

We had a lovely experience at Gravity. The take me on a date was Ana amazing drink. I loved that there was a small piece of chocolate served with it, fun to taste it without first and then with, deepened the experience. Well balanced crafted cocktails. We did 5 of the food items, all were great. Trio of mushrooms was phenomenal. We asked for some input on other places in the area and they went out of their way to give us great ideas. Highly recommend. I’ll make it back the next time I’m in Paris.

Came here last fall on a recommendation by another cocktail bar. Food and cocktails were all phenomenal here, as was the service! Definitely will return when back in town.

We came here by accident, actually looking for some food, and had a wonderful experience! The food was very delicious, we had 3 plates for two people and were full afterwards. (The waitress also told us that two persons usually have more than 2 dishes). The only thing that even topped the food were the cocktails - they were composed with a lot of creativity and far from the usual classic cocktails. Everything was complemented by the super friendly and helpful service, which was professional but still somehow casual and pleasant, creating a very enjoyable atmosphere. Also, they took their time to explain everything we wanted to know. It was about 15 euro per dish and per cocktail - so probably not the cheapest place to be. However it was totally worth it, especially taking into account that this is Paris and not any other place.

We came here with a larger group of people & I have been dreaming of this place ever since!!!! The cocktails are perfection and the tapas are so so delicious!! Plus the presentation is such a pleasure for the eyes 😍 It gets suuuuper busy on the weekend evenings though, so make sure to stop by early, in order to really enjoy the place

Google
Excellent service and decor. The cocktails are really good value for money! ( all for 12 euros) The music is not so loud, so its pretty quite and the place is a bit small, which makes it the perfect spot to have a nice intimate conversation with inventive cocktails. I highly recommend!

Yelp
This place was recommended to us by a bartender at another bar we had visited before as a great spot for a craft cocktail. Upon arrival we were able to grab two bar seats that just opened up. It was fortunate, as this is a very small bar with only two employees. That said, service was quick and friendly. The drinks came pretty quick and were well made. An interesting touch is that use micro-clothespins to hold the garnish of each drink perfectly in place on the rim of a given glass. It seemed silly for a few drinks, but really helped some of the drinks to present beautifully. We found the drinks were strong and the small crowd fun, but as we were trying to visit all of Paris in 22 hours, we had to move on to the next spot. I'd definitely return if I found myself in the neighborhood again.

Yelp
Tiny cool spot with fancy cocktails. Lovely space, cool bar, a little bit expensive for Paris, beautiful decor. Tried two cocktails, loved them, but skipped the food. Worth the detour!

Yelp
I was here in January for winter break and got lucky with cocktail week in Paris. There was a special cocktail that they were offering, but the name escapes me at the moment; I think it was called sixteen men? In any case, it was delicious; probably the best cocktail I had in Paris during my stay. High recommend!

Yelp
We found this gem while walking home and were surprised to hear it is newly opened. The place has a very cool atmosphere- modern- and the staff is friendly. It was busy, even on a Tuesday evening. They serve an assortment of classic and house cocktails, wine, other drinks and delicious-looking bar food. Definitely recommended!

Yelp
Unfortunately I did not understand the hype around this place. I thought the food was okay. I had the mushroom dish which I was not the biggest fan of but I must say the grilled octopus was really yummy. I had the "piña colada" like drink was good but nothing out of the ordinary. But worst of all was the service...granted I am used to Parisian standards but our waiter seemed a bit scattered and confused.

Yelp
I had the Bonite and Apple Boom. It was awesome. If ever in Paris drop in. The bar tender was kind and mixed great drinks.
