25 Bars in San Diego Supporting Joshua Tree | Eater

"A rotating list of 20 local beer taps makes this Sorrento Mesa brewpub a neighborhood favorite, but both the food menu and the cocktail list make it a going-out destination rather than a stop. The Smash or Pass is, as the name suggests, a very “smashable” cocktail — it combines Westward Whiskey with strawberry, lemon, vanilla simple syrup, and mint for a fruity summer refresher. Enjoy it on the patio with the fish tacos to mark the end of the season." - Vox Creative

We went for brunch, and it was a great choice. All the food was very good, and while there was a mistake with my order the waitress was very quick to fix it and really nice about it. Would highly recommend the ricotta pistachio donut holes, and the make your own mimosa is an awesome deal - we got around 3 drinks each for four people from it (maybe 1-2 if you do a very heavy pour). The outside space is really nice, and the whole restaurant is very spacious, so it was probably one of the only places I've been that was genuinely easy to get around in a wheelchair - no fuss, struggle, or awkwardly tight spots. The doorways are also wide and easy to pass through. I'll definitely be going back!

Google
Great place for drinks and elevated bar food. We usually do a group meetup for happy hour here. They have specials on drinks and food. Our server and the kitchen staff were great at getting our drinks and orders out quickly. Their prickly pear Margarita was so pretty and delicious. We ordered tuna salad appetizer and that was pretty good though I wish it came with normal less flavorful crackers rather than buttery Ritz crackers. We ordered pita bread with the hummus and we all really liked the naan-like pitas. The chicken wings were crunchy and the pepperoni pizza was a good size. The Carmel budino was a bit too runny and not like other thicker budinos I've had elsewhere. It was a bit disappointing. The cookie in the cast iron pan was so good! Order one if you like shift gooey chocolate chip cookies.

Tucked into the heart of San Diego’s laid-back coastal culture, Gravity Heights delivers a brunch experience that balances craft, comfort, and creativity—and it might just be your new go-to spot. 🍩 Pistachio & Orange Donut Holes – 5/5 These aren’t your average donut holes. Each bite-sized delight arrives with a satisfyingly crisp exterior that gives way to a warm, soft, and impossibly moist interior. The pistachio sugar adds a nutty, subtly sweet crunch that plays perfectly with the velvety Grand Marnier French cream—lightly boozy, citrusy, and decadently smooth. It’s a thoughtfully balanced dish that tastes as playful as it is elegant. Hands down, some of the best donut-style treats I’ve ever had. 🍗 Fried Chicken, Biscuit & Gravy – 5/5 This dish is a comfort food symphony. The fried chicken boasts an incredibly crispy coating with a juicy, tender center—moist and flavorful, not greasy. It’s a testament to how proper frying technique and seasoning can elevate a simple dish to something exceptional. Paired with a soft buttermilk biscuit, perfectly cooked eggs, and a sage-laced sausage gravy that, surprisingly, hits just the right portion mark, this plate manages richness without overwhelming. Every bite is layered and satisfying. 🍹 Mimosa – 5/5 A solid, refreshing brunch classic. The best part? It’s made with fresh-squeezed orange juice, which gives it a clean, natural flavor that sets it apart from the syrupy versions you sometimes get elsewhere. It’s simple, fresh, and just right for a sunny San Diego morning. 🍽 Atmosphere & Service – 5/5 The vibe at Gravity Heights is unmistakably San Diego: relaxed, modern, and unpretentious. It strikes the right balance between trendy and welcoming, without feeling like it’s trying too hard for the ‘Gram. Sitting at the bar gave a front-row view of the action, where the bartenders were impressively multitasking without ever compromising on attentiveness or friendliness. Food and drinks arrived promptly, and the entire experience felt smooth and well-paced. ✅ Final Verdict From the crisp-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside donut holes to the expertly fried chicken and sunny mimosa, Gravity Heights nails both flavor and vibe. This is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression—not just for the food, but for the full package. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to return to explore more of the menu. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)

Google
Enjoyed a delightful dinner with Family. Gravity Heights has a bustling ambiance. Although it was busy we were whisked to your table without delay. The attentive service from our waitress added to the the enjoyment. The menu prices raised an eyebrow, on our culinary journey featuring the Crab Crusted Halibut, Mac & Cheese, and Meatloaf Dinner. The food just didn't hit the right mark and was only average. The best part about the Halibut dish was the Romain lettuce with its light citrus dressing. However, the tantalizing sips of the Hip Cowboy & Bikini Bottom drinks made up for it a bit. Despite the minor hiccup with pricing, your evening was great.

Exceptional happy hour! The agua chiles and the smashburger are a great value and extremely flavorful. Space heaters made dining nice and comfortable. Great spot to catch up with friends and coworkers.

Big spot! Nice sized bar with multiple TVs. Covered and uncovered seating for dining. I’ll try the food next time.

Google
I enjoyed so much my Monday afternoon with my friends, loved the moon light IPA, cauliflower was extra succulent!! Pisa and pasta extremely good. Service and attention is very warm. The place is very nice for small groups to hang out, or you can spend a nice romantic evening with your significant person.

Yelp
GRAVITY HEIGHTS @ SORRENTO VALLEY My friends birthday was hosted here, parking was available out front and free. The place was stunning, I loved all the decor that was inside and outside, a live dj and a beautiful bar with a bunch of tv's. It was such a perfect fun spot for brunch. Our party was about 15 minutes so it was on the larger side, but the server was kind and allowed us to all sit in a table together. All the food on the menu looks good, from the basics of eggs, bread, to chilaquiles, and other breakfast sort. It was all overall tasty. I would definitely try something more unique next time, but my order was still delicious, bacon was so crispy. Overall, I would definitely try again and come for their dinner menu!

Yelp
Gravity Heights has restored my faith in Happy Hours. You see, my partner and I love good Happy Hours but ever since the pandemic, it's been a struggle to find one that both of us agree we would happily return to....and then we found Gravity Heights. There are literally NO cons to their Happy Hour. NONE! 3-6 every day! Friendly bartenders. Decent drinks specials. Plenty of HH menu items to choose from. If you can't find something you like, that's on you! The bar setup is great- outside, dog friendly, big tvs if you want to watch sports...I really like this spot! We'll be back!

Yelp
I used to go there quite a bit for business lunches and dinners. Conveniently located by my office right next to Qualcomm Campus, this place features a nice outdoor patio area that includes a full bar, and two covered area but opened dining rooms with AC. Staff is very professional but slightly too "cold" to my taste. If you have a reservation but show up 5 mins earlier, you'll have to wait. Prices went up a lot recently and the Food is good but not great for those prices. $19 for 6 wings (starters)... yes they were good but is it worth it? I don't think so. Pizza are also overprice considering the small amount of topings. Beers are great but why charging $10 if you brew on site? and $20 old fashioned? Parking situation can be terrible. I wouldn't go there if it wasn't for business meals.

Yelp
I'm elated to report that Happy Hour is alive & well at Gravity Heights. There's still lingering effects of how the pandemic changed daily life. & a really good HH was feeling like yet another economic casualty of those trying times. But Gravity Heights has kept the faith. My partner in crime & I were out & about enjoying the typical SD sunshine in the convertible when we stopped in here for some nibbles & refreshment. Parking was easy on a Saturday afternoon. We went back to the bar. An open, airy, outdoor space perfectly suited for such a typical SD day. As luck would have it, we'd arrived just in time for the beginning of Happy Hour. Which runs 3-6pm, every day. Yes! Service was friendly, conversational, & attentive at the bar. Along with drink specials, all house beers are $2 off. For bites, there's a generous offering of HH dishes. All told, we tried some of Gravity Heights' beers & the HH tinga tacos & the HH la pizza. Given that craft beer is as much SD as the sunshine, the beers here were all good & well executed. For food, the HH tinga tacos were quite tasty. The HH la pizza was surprisingly large & deemed decent by my pizza snob partner in crime. I concurred. For HH $$, it was all a pretty sweet deal. So Happy Hour lives on! At least, at Gravity Heights, it does. Good bites, good beers, good value. 3-6pm, every day. I want to get back here for HH whenever I can.

Yelp
I thought I was grabbing a late lunch, but it turned out that they have happy hour on Saturday so that was a pleasant surprise. I had the fried cauliflower, baked oysters, and the shrimp aguachile. They were all pretty solid, and I was impressed with the expansive happy hour menu!

Yelp
Excellent takeout experience from here when one of our group preferred eating in to eating at the restaurant. Easy to order - and they give you 20% off their website for takeout orders currently. Mina helped me send a message to the kitchen when there wasn't a place to specify leaving out an ingredient (no meat on my delicata squash pizza!). Pretzel & delicata squash pizza were as delicious as in the past. Apple salad was not quite as good as when I ate in, ditto the cauliflower. It was more charred last time and a little more undercooked this time. Still tasty but not a mind-blowing dish this time. Mezze platter, which I ordered for the first time, was AMAZING. It's really impressive how they are able to make different kinds of foods authentically here. We're tough critics on falafel, and their falafel was great - and the other dips were really good too. A mezze platter worthy of Middle Eastern diners. Sadly, the two people who got the margherita pizza did not like theirs. I see that some friends on here who've had it like Jack M also were not thrilled. So I would stay away from this and order something more interesting on their menu. Overall, those of us who had something other than the margherita were thrilled with our meals. There are some amazing dishes on their menu, and they're great for dining in or takeout.

Yelp
This is our go-to place for weekend lunches/dinners. I love HH because the hummus is on the menu & it's my favorite. I normally get that and a bite of my husband's food. He will either get the chicken sandwich or burger & the fries are 4/5 here. Service has always been great for us and sometimes we bring out doggy when we sit outside.

Yelp
We dined here for brunch on the last day of restaurant week. Restaurant week was a great value. We ordered the brussel sprouts (good flavor wish they were a bit crispier), the apple salad (my favorite), the chicken, biscuits and gravy (gravy and biscuits were delish but the chicken could have been crisper too), and the shrimp salad (didn't try). I also ordered an ice tea. Service started off okay but degraded throughout the meal. Our waitress seemed to be inexperienced , uninformed, or apathetic. I asked for a refill of my ice tea and then waited 10 minutes for a refill with no ice. Our check came and had not been keyed in as restaurant week so had to be rerung. The waitress couldn't figure out if dessert was included or not.

Yelp
Its Father's Day! - 6/16/2024 We didn't make the reservations, but we were lucky enough to get the table outside instead of inside. It super packed that day. The ambiance is nice all around. I didn't get a chance to take all the pictures of the food we all ate that day. All of us completely enjoyed our food. We had pasta, pizza, burger, appetizers and dessert. I ordered delicious mac and cheese. It came with cheddar cheese, sweet and spicy peppers, garlic and breadcrumbs on top. I would definitely come back. This place is perfect for any occasion.

Yelp
Rarely found a weekend happy hour spot! Definitely need to go through the menu. Food and drink are all good, service is attentive, and the outdoor seating area is nice

Yelp
Gravity Heights has several locations but this one happens to be walking distance to my hotel. It is right on the corner and is quite expansive. It has multiple seating area. Upstairs, outside, inside they are huge. The decor is booked chic. This place has ambience. We sat under a permanent tent. It was very loud! I think everyone was enjoying their alcohol. They have a wide array of beer choices. Service was attentive. The food can take a while to come out. It was worth it though. I think I have found a gem! The apple salad was good. The apples come out thinly sliced. They put a good amount of pecans in the salad. I really enjoyed this although the dressing was subtle. 9/10 I saw the Tikka masala pot pie on Yelp review which is why I wanted to try Gravity. I loved it! I like Tikka masala and I like pot pie. This was the best combo, whoever came up with this is a genius! The Tikka masala was creamy. They did not skimp on the chicken. I shared with my hubby which after the fact I wished he would've gotten his own. I could've eaten the whole thing.10/10 The chocolate chip oreo dessert was alright. I prefer BJ's pzookie better. This reminds me of that. I couldn't taste the oreo cookie. The cookie stuck to the cast iron and was difficult to eat. 7/10

Yelp
The staff and atmosphere here are attentive and very helpful. The food was excellent and flavorful. Tacos were spicy and seasoned well. Drinks had a beautiful presentation and good.

Yelp
Gravity heights is like a fancy, classy, hip brewery. Service is quite friendly and the server checked on our needs often. Refilling our water without even being asked. We sat in an outdoor permanent tent enclosure. It was quite nicely decorated with plants and lighting. The apple salad was good, but I would have liked (I should have asked for more) more dressing. The cast iron cookie with ice cream was quite tasty. However, the star of the show was the cast iron tika masala pot pie. That was amazingly unique and tasted fantastic. You gotta give it a try.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for a birthday brunch. Everything tasted wonderful. The star of the experience was the craft cocktails. Beautiful, unique, and high quality ingredients. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Mediocre greeting by one of the two male bartenders ~12:30pm on 6/7/2025. While the food was excellent, combined with a just OK beer and poor service, I will not be returning nor would I recommend this restaurant to others.

Nina I.

Yelp
Food was amazing as always! Hey Gravity Heights that Tuna Tostada was excellent but was more like an appetizer than a meal! Our wonderful, friendly waiter agreed. (He was great btw) 18 bucks?! Sorry, it should be worded on the menu as "Mini Tuna Tostadas". All of us commented how we might still be hungry after eating. Add another mini and it will be worth the money!

Yelp
We came here to dine with family for our daughter's promotion. We came for lunch during a midweek and it was not crowded. We were able to sit with other parties we knew so that was great. I ordered the mussels in sun dried tomato broth. I wasn't sure how I would like this entree since I do not care for sun dried tomatoes but it was actually tasty and I would order it again. The portion was enough and it also came with bread to dip in the sauce. My daughter ordered Mac and cheese which is standard but was saucey and wet (not dry). She enjoyed it and finished her plate. My daughter also ordered a scoop of chocolate gelato. Very good and a great way to end the meal. Service was good and accommodating. Parking lot has ample and free parking spaces. A very nice space with lots of indoor and patio seating.

Yelp
Ok my bad, Gravity Heights! MY. BAD. I did not know that this place has completely stepped up their menu since the last time I was here. So I've been here for dinner before but I've been here primarily for brunch. Two years ago, their brunch menu was fairly small - consisting of less than 10 dishes to choose from. The food was good but nothing that really stood out. During my recent visit last week, I gotta say that there has been such a big improvement. The food here is definitely good and portions have increased as well (my inner fat boy really appreciates that lol). The pizzas are top notch (the mushroom one is elite), the burgers are juicy and delicious and the egg dishes (such as the benedict or the hash) are so good. I also love their chicken wings here. Pro tip is to get it with sauce on the side. Shoot get all 4 sauces on the side if you like. Love that this place has a huge seating area, both indoor and outdoor. Very open bar area, dog-friendly and just a cool spot to hang out at.

Yelp
Been here a couple times throughout the years. It's had its highs and lows, and happy to say that it's back to one of its high times. The ambiance here is casual, fun, and friendly. We came at an odd time, at the end of the brunch menu but the start of happy hour and the dinner menu, so got to try things off each menu! Some highlights were the dirty fries (the portion is now back to normal and bigger), the crab crusted halibut, and the smoked tuna happy hour dip! I'd skip the white pizza and the happy hour chicken tacos... But great place for a drink and a bite!
google avatar

Nitin J.

Yelp
Another good place to go out with friends and team lunch. Have a good atmosphere and staff is good. I tried chicken wings, charred cabbage, flavor was good in cabbage. Wild mushroom pizza was really good, little bit greasy but good in taste. Chicken pot pie was a fusion style where they used Indian style chicken tikka curry with a puff pastry on top. I think addition of carrots was not giving well in the curry and can we taken it out. Otherwise food quality, quantity and service was good.

Yelp
I absolutely love Gravity Heights! My husband and I live nearby and come here often; I also do girls nights with my bestie and we come here for drinks and their insanely awesome happy hour. GH is reliably good, and I've never had something here that I didn't like. We love sitting at the bar outside, and it's dog friendly! Lots of tv and heaters. My go to order is the red wine sangria and either the bravas potatoes, or the personal pepperoni pizza, the latter two are only on the happy hour menu from 3p-6p daily. They keep things fresh here with a constantly updated food and cocktail menu so you always have the chance to try something new and delicious. That said... They used to have this absolutely delicious macaroni and cheese dish that I would ask to add kielbasa to (from the pierogis), it was like a bougie version of mac n hot dogs. Since we usually sit at the bar, my favorite bartender (I forget his name IM SO SORRY I think it's John? Josh? I'm terrible with names but he's the super nice guy with dreads in a ponytail and he should get a raise bc he's the best) put me on to the pulled pork and said add that to the mac. That was also next level! Come to find out - they removed the mac and cheese from the menu! Please, please, PLEASE bring it back! I swear, if the papas bravas are ever removed from the menu I will riot in the streets. Definitely check out Gravity Heights. I am a customer for life!

Yelp
Great food, close to our jobsite. Was here like a year ago and never stopped thinking about the Ahi Tuna Tostada. Came back this week and took my crew out to lunch. They were all very impressed with their burgers and Chicken sandwiches. We loved sitting out in the heated patio area, and we had great service as well.

Yelp
Gravity Heights Sorrento Valley is tucked away surrounded by biotech companies. Its modern architecture and open concept is desired amongst many diners with a massive bar counter. Many deals are done over good food and good company. Our server attentiveness was fair. The food was delicious. All dishes, Spring Roll Salad and Margarita pizza were very good. The wings were cooked well but I could not get past the cost of $19 for 7 wings. Probably won't order that again. Parking was small and shared amongst the biotech companies but I didn't have issues finding parking on a Saturday.

Yelp
Super cute place with a lot of seating and attentive service! Food was alright, average brunch type, good portion size, chai cider was good! My party enjoyed the taster sizes for drinks!

Yelp
Nice brewery that serves excellent appetizers and some solid burgers. ATMOSPHERE: We went for a rainy weekday lunch, and it was not super crowded but decently lively. They have outdoor seating under some umbrellas and heat lamps, an "outdoor" dining tent with full seating, and an indoor section. SERVICE: Fine for a brewery setting FOOD: Appetizers: 1. Chicken Wings - Biggest chicken wings I have ever seen in my entire life. The impact of that is that it was a little pink on the very inside of my piece, which I believe gave me a terrible stomach ache (and bathroom time) later. Knocking off one star for this. 2. Tuna Tostada - Comes 2 to an order; each one is much larger than you expect. There's three slices of seared tuna on each, relatively generous. 3. Dirty Fries - SO good. We actually didn't order, the kitchen made an extra and gave it to our table but surprisingly it was my favorite of all the appetizers. Not too crazy on the toppings which was to my liking, and the pulled pork was delicious. 4. Strawberry salad - Average, the green leafs could have been more fresh. Entree: Tikka Masala Chicken Pot Pie - Comes with a side of yogurt. First bite was amazing, though at some point it gets a little monotonous, and the gravy is on the thinner side. Interesting concept, and was decently tasty, but could use some variety or a side of veggies to go with. They could also go a little heavier on the spices. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would like to come back for apps and drinks or maybe to try their brunch menu.

Yelp
Gravity Heighs was recommended by a couple of people in our group that have been to the other location before. We arrived on a Sunday around noon and while it was busy, we were fortunate to be seated right away. It's pretty large space with indoor, outdoor, bar seating available. // FOOD // HOUSE MADE CINNAMON ROLL - mascarpone goat cheese frosting. Absolutely loved this and paired so well with a hot cup of coffee. The warm, buttery, sweet cinnamon roll is a must! CHILAQUILES - chipotle braised chicken, avocado, fried egg, crema, queso fresco, red onion. One of the best chilaquiles that I've had before. The chicken was so flavorful and the chilaquiles was the perfect consistency of some crunchy and some soft pieces. I definitely want to come back to try a few of the other items on the menu. This would also be a chill spot to grab a drink with friends by the bar and watch a game.

Yelp
Innovative food. I've been here many times and I love that they change up their menu every now and then. I'm the kind of person who loves trying new food and Gravity Heights always delivers no matter what item I choose. They also have a huge selection of libations (and they have mocktails too), ranging from their own beer, guest beers, cocktails, wine, cider and kombucha. The service is quick and friendly. Plenty of seating options, whether you want to be in the sun or in a covered area with plenty of cushions. This is a place that you would go with your coworkers for lunch or take a casual date to in the evening.
google avatar

Silvia L.

Yelp
We have been here a few times for team build. To be honest, the food and drink here are just average but the environment serves the purpose. However, I don't understand why they can't offer happy hour price if you sit indoor (windy outside).
google avatar

Lim K.

Yelp
First time dining here for a Sunday brunch. I loved the spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas with relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I shared mushroom pizza and lemon chicken & kale salad. The food tasted delicious except I did not care for the pizza crust. The edges were a little too hard and chewy for me. Having both sriracha and Tabasco sauces was a plus. The service was friendly and attentive. I look forward to trying different dishes in the future.

Yelp
Takes forever to get a table even though there are tons of table available on a Friday night. Place is really nice but wait time is illogical
google avatar

Megan F.

Yelp
Ok so I went here about a year ago and had a meh to not great experience. I left an honest review through open table and folks reached out and said come back and let's try again. A year later I did and I have never had a spot go so all out. The menu was a lot better and the quality of food and options was stellar. Service was great and they went over and above and then further to show off and make this brunch amazing. This included their cinnamon roll which is just decadent and the mix your own champagne which was excellent and such a nice treat. I thought maybe a comped drink but this was beyond. And all of our food was so good. I had brought two friends and we were celebrating and it was so special. I love their patio and it was a fantastic day and maybe the best brunch I've had in quite a while. Thank you and we will be back!
google avatar

Ryan C.

Yelp
Love the patio and outdoor space here, super centrally located by all the offices - so a great spot for an afternoon work happy hour or beer to wait out traffic. Solid happy hour offerings/menu, and usually pretty friendly staff! Parking can be tough though.
google avatar

Linda M.

Yelp
Overall not bad. Their burger, chicken sandwich and pizzas were good. The service was very attentive and came by a couple of times to check on us. The food came out fairly quickly which was great as we were both very hungry. It wasn't too busy, I'd say maybe maybe less than half full. During lunch they decided to turn up the music which was not necessary, so we had to speak louder so we could hear each other. It's a keeper, I'd go back again.

Yelp
I love coming to Gravity Heights! The staff is always friendly and I love how big the place is. You can choose to sit inside, outside, at the bar, or the back bar patio. They get VERY busy during lunch on the weekdays and the parking is limited so keep that in mind. This time my friend and I sat at the bar and shared the muscles and mac and cheese. Both were SO good. Definitely recommend them and they were perfect to share. I love that they switch up the menu occasionally. It's so fun to come and try the new things. I definitely recommend trying Gravity Heights. They are good for small and large groups. I also suggest bringing a jacket when it's a little windy or overcast. They have tons of heaters! But because it's so open, a jacket can come in handy.
google avatar

Mary M.

Yelp
Food is good. Pizza is delicious and cocktails are on point. Services are good. Ambience is pretty nice! Will recommend! Just not enough parking but still it's a go to place!
google avatar

AJ M.

Yelp
Highly recommend this spot! Diverse arrangements of spots to sit inside, but every area/seat looks beautiful. The beer is solid. You can count on that. No other comments. We ordered the mezze platter, the mac and cheese, and the pretzels. The mezze platter is VERY good, pretzels pretty good, and mac and cheese just OK. Pretzels weren't melt in your mouth good and mac and cheese was bland (needed salt). I had the crab crusted halibut, which was very tasty! I enjoyed it because, for me, whitefish like halibut is often too mild. But you can tell by the price of the plate compared to the other entrees that they use high quality crab, which made the taste of the dish skyrocket. So good. Service was great as well. All around 9/10.

Well, I had a very disappointing visit. I was wanting to try them out during restaurant week and drove all the way out there. After waiting a while for a server, I had asked about the restaurant week menu only to be told that they are only offering dinner and their "lunch" option was a brunch which they only do on the weekends. Since I came during "lunch/brunch" times during the week I basically wasn't able to do any of their specials. Just as a future courtesy, it would be nice if they had posted on their menu that they basically only are offering dinner for restaurant week, to avoid unnecessary disappointment. *** I find it odd that the mission valley one offers lunch and the sorrento valley does not. Needless to say after wasting my gas on the drive there for basically nothing..... I will not be returning to this establishment.

Yelp
Went to Gravity Heights for the first time and I wish we knew about this place sooner! The food and drinks were great. Love that they have a huge beer menu along with cocktails. We tried the mushroom pizza and the humus plate. Both were delicious. Love that this is also a kid-friendly brewery. The grassy area is perfect to let kids run around!

Yelp
Went with a group and we shared a bunch of appetizers (aka munchies) and a pizza, plus a couple desserts. The table favorite were the Potato Pierogies. Such simple ingredients (chives, caramelized onions, brown butter with a dollop of dill sour cream), yet so tasty. I feel like the pierogies could have been bigger or more per order. Eat Your Greens Pizza (burrata, mozz, parm, greens and lemon vinaigrette) was my 2nd fave. It was a good, healthy-ish and flavorful. Also really enjoyed the Dirty Fries, Tuna Tostada and Tikka Masala Chicken Pot Pie (yogurt marinated chicken, etc.) The charred cauliflower was ok (Indian flavorings) and wasn't a huge fan of the charred cabbage. The cast iron cookie was very good, but pretty small. We ordered a strawberry shortcake they had on the menu, and it was ok, but not nearly as good as the cookie. Excellent service.

Yelp
This review is based on two HH events in the upstairs room in last 5 months. (I could have sworn I already did a review but can't find it) Excellent and highly recommend: *Cauliflower (wood oven roasted with pistachios, saffron cream, and other good stuff like mint; *fried chicken wings with some kind of sweet sour sauce--big pieces, crunchy and hot *pierogi (yes I am surprised too that I would like potato ravioli but it was really amazing with butter and cream) Good: *pizza--margherita, pepperoni, and mushroom w/garlic Average: *dirty fries--BBQ pulled pork carnitas over fries with jalpenos and cheese -- Perhaps I just don't care for meat over fries in the first place; fries need to be more cruncy. Not recommend: *Sliders--meat was dry Great food, really beautiful ambiance with outdoor and indoor seating (and white lights decorating the trees outside), and we are grateful for the dedicated upstairs room with pool, shuffle board and other games, along with dedicated bar. Long table and a few couches are also upstairs. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
This was an adequate experience. The service was ok. Food was good with large portions. The restaurant setting was nice. I like to outdoor patio. I did not have beer but they have an impressive list.

Yelp
A go-to brewery dine-in spot in Mira Mesa. Love their drink selection. Love even more their Happy Hour, and the fact that they switch out their menus. The variety keeps me coming back!

Yelp
I've been to Gravity Heights twice now and both times it's been a great experience. From the friendly staff to the outdoor patio seating with TVs it's been a solid 10/10. I would also recommend coming during happy hour (3-6pm) as they have some good appetizers under $10. As for what we ordered, I would highly recommend the Wood Fired Mussels & Meat Lovers Pizza. The Mussels comes with sourdough bread which is perfect to soak in the sundried tomato broth. Lastly, the drinks were excellent, I did not expect them to make old fashions the way they do being a brewery and all! Would I go again? Absolutely!

Yelp
We had our holiday party here on Friday afternoon. The parking lot is small so you had to find parking somewhere nearby. We had about 20 people and we got the side area near the road for ourselves. It's nice because it's pretty spacious and they had turf on the ground in that area. I tried all 3 of their mocktails. My favorite is how'bout them apple. It's got a nice cinnamon flavour. It's pretty sweet but it tasted good with ice inside. The vibe check looked very pretty but I think it's a little too gingery. Cran you dig it was the last drink I got. I think I was too full of liquid at that point, nothing stood out for this very holiday-looking drink. I like Mac and cheese the most. It's creamy with a little crunch on top. Second place is the margarita pizza. It's very underwhelming looking but the taste of the herb on the pizza was good. And I liked the thin crispy crust. The meatlover pizza was too salty for me. Chicken tacos were ok. Nothing to brag about the chicken tacos. The meatball dish was good too. It's a good size dish if you want something filling.

Yelp
We came here for happy hour on a weekday, and it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. You can make reservations ahead of time, but when we came, we didn't really need it. We each ordered a burger and it came with the option of fries or a salad. Highly recommend the fries!! They're so good. The burger was cooked perfectly and came out hot. For happy hour, I believe it was $2 off house pours, and house wine was $7. Just a note, if you are sitting outside, it can get cold in the shade, so bring a jacket. There is parking available, but the spots out front are usually taken, since it is a smaller lot, but who knows, you might get lucky! There is parallel street parking as well, so that is a huge plus.
