Angel Food Bakery Leaves Downtown Minneapolis for St. Louis Park’s Texa Tonka - Eater Twin Cities

"Gray Fox, a sleek coffee shop, is opening a second location in Uptown today, right across the street from Lunds on Lake Street in the new Daymark Apartment Complex. The initial hours will be 10:30 am on weekdays and 8am on weekends. Gray Fox first opened in the TCF Atrium in downtown Minneapolis in the summer of 2018. The shop is owned by the same couple who have the Copper Hen Kitchen & Cakery on Nicollet Avenue and the Copper Cow in Minnetonka. The shop became an Instagram favorite for vibrant beet or obsidian charcoal lattes and flourishes like gold leaf garnish. In addition to coffee drinks, the new location also offers breakfast bites." - Joy Summers

A nice open seating area in the lobby of a tower. It was fairly quiet and well lit with all of the windows. Comfortable place to enjoy a coffee and bfast while here for a conference. I’m a simple guy and just get regular coffee with soy milk. It was an Ethiopian light roast and very flavorful. Also, cheaper and much better coffee than going to sbux or any other large chain. I’m probably going to eat like crap during lunch and dinner, so the chia oatmeal pudding for bfast was the perfect thing and really tasty as well.

The vibe was very nice with the fireplace but food and drink were totally disappointing. The latte art doesn’t look anything like in the menu. The matcha was very light and sweet. I felt like drinking green sugar water. The turkey sausage was extremely salty. The muffin was hard I wasn’t able to bite. Price was not worth it.

In the first floor of the AT&T Tower. Great vibe lots of seating options, cozy, quiet, great variety of flavors and drinks. It is an officer building but the morning we went wasn't busy, steady flow and still chill. Staff was great.

Such an ambiance and good drink! It’s good for a short stop in between your meetings. They have good coffee.

Was part of a tourist coffee walk during a conference this weekend. Our first stop on the walk was to grab coffee at the Gray Fox on Marquette. More people showed up for the walk than they were planning on with not much time to give a heads up to the person working the coffee shop by himself. Hats off to him! He was calm, professional, and kind. Great service and great coffee!

The Fox in the Woods Latte looked intriguing so I decided to stop by. It was different in a good way, a creative twist. It was fun to try but it's not something I'd make a habit of. I also had the bacon breakfast sandwich, which didn't seem to have a lot of flavor. They served it in a bento box, and i would have preferred it on a plate since I was going to eat it there. The young lady at the counter was pleasant, and I received the code and snatched quickly. The atmosphere was the best part. Downstairs in the lobby of the AT&T building, it had a great cozy minimalist vibe with a fireplace and ample seating. In short, an excellent place to get breakfast and catch up on emails during a rainy fall morning in Minneapolis. And it wasn't hard to find an outlet, which is always a plus.

I absolutely love the matcha here, they also have very very good lattes served in such a great atmosphere! I recommend a vanilla lavender matcha OR a clever bee!
