I have had the good fortune of living in an amazing neighborhood for nearly 20 years! Most of my neighbors have lived here since the development was built. 119 Woodspur Rd has been a rental property for quite some time and we typically have decent renters but our winning streak came to end a few years ago. I’m not sure what type of property management company allows tenants to destroy the yard, trash the property, and leave a total mess which has become an eyesore to us all.

Went to look at a home and definitely didnt look the pictures. Tree went through the roof therefore huge hole in home. The home was listed under AMERICAN REALITY , with no contact # and when so called company emailed with follow up queations, I informed them about condition of home...no response. A few hours later i noticed they took rental off the market. 7 hours later its back being available to rent under this new management name. Its frustrating enough trying to find a descent rental but we soon to be renters dont need or have time to be scammed..special place in hell for people like this..

Terrible property management. We rented from them 2 years ago, we had flooded rooms and mold ,roof leaks, poor insulation plumbing issues they had 27 violations my grandbaby had to be admitted to the hospital for an asthma attack due to black mold that was in the vents then had the nerve to try and evict us, but it backfired on them

As other reviewers have mentioned, you should avoid this company at all costs. Before, the property that I rent currently was managed by rent haven. Unfortunately after a year they sold the properties to Great Jones. Great jones has a pretty quick response time when it comes to work orders, that’s about the only positive thing that I have to say about them. For one, don’t even waste your time filling out applications for them, I’ve done it twice and each time I have lost my money because after they receive your $50 application fee you never receive any correspondence afterwards. I will never know if I was approved, denied or anything because that’s the last thing that you will see from them “payment received” and “someone will be in contact with you”. Don’t hold your breath. Another thing is they are almost impossible to get in contact with. They don’t answer the phone, you will wait for about 10 minutes and then you will get a recording saying that “all representatives are busy at this time” and to email them instead. I have emailed them numerous times, no response. How do you expect to manage properties for people and you have no way for the current or prospective tenants to get in contact with you? It’s frustrating and impossible. Also, I live in Columbia, SC. There is no physical address for you to go here….like seriously what are we supposed to do at this point. Do not let this company manage your properties and definitely do not rent from them. If you don’t take heed to this review or all of the other reviews below, get ready for the biggest pain in your rear.

My lease was moved from Rent Haven in Columbia, SC to this company about two months into my lease. My lease was not originally with them. However, absolutely avoid renting from them if possible. While I had no issues with them during the time I lived in the house, move out has been an absolute nightmare. First, I notified them if my move out at the end of my lease.  They said they would get on touch with me to schedule a move out walk through. This never happened. I didn't hear from them until nearly 3 months after the end of my lease, and that was when they sent me a certified letter saying I owed them nearly $4000 for damages. They wanted to charge me for replacing 3 exterior doors.  The doors were not damaged by me at all, and were exactly the way they were when I moved in. They wanted to charge me for painting the whole inside of the house, which was not on my original lease, but one of their move out policies. They wanted to charge me $100 for opening a closet door that never opened in the first place, and $70 to reattach a toilet paper holder in the bathroom. Finally, 5 months from the end of my lease, they're sending me a check for $68.  Nevermind the fact that South Carolina law states that the deposit needs to be dealt with within 30 days of the end of lease. If you don't have to rent from them, find someone else. If your lease gets moved to them, good luck.

I have never had worse customer service in my life!! They take your money to see their properties and charge you an application fee and then drop off the face of the earth. There are NEVER any human beings to talk to all you get is the run around. They claim they are a first come first serve when leasing yet I have proof I submitted my request to transfer my application WELL before the property was even available and they honored an application taken AFTER my request. They took my application money and EVERY time I have asked for help they run me in circles. I am homeless now because of there HORRIBLE customer service. You see there website is full of happy people that work there but NONE of them will do their jobs and contact you. Thank you Great Jones for making me have to stay in a hotel.

I literally would leave a negative rating if I could. From the property management down to the actual property. This property is NOT worth what they're charging. We literally just left a month ago and they were charging is $1265.00 per month, now it's $1323.00? and I recently spoke to a real estate agent who lives in Great Falls area and stated that as nice of an area the house is located in that they're overcharging for rent and it shouldn't be more that about $850.00 per month. The house has mold in it. The back door wasn't sealed properly and it swelled so bad over the summer we couldn't even use it. The sliding glass door is off track. There are so many cracks in the house that bugs are constantly getting in. Water bugs are a HUGE issue at this house. When we first moved in everything was fine, not even a full week later we started having issues with the plumbing. We called and called and emailed and emailed and begged and cried for something to be done. The tree root apparently was growing into the pipes which was causing our sewage to back up in the toilets and showers. It took them over a month to get someone out there to fix it. During that month we had to use the bathroom in trash bags and shower standing on a stool because they refused to promptly handle the situation. I asked multiple times to speak directly to the landlord and they refused to have anyone contact us. There is a serious lack of communication within this company, you can never get anyone that speaks English, you can forget calling because they read from a script and never email you back. Do not waste your time with these people!

March 2020, I applied for a property within an hour of it being listed. After a few days, I didn't hear anything so I called them. I was advised I was approved, but the house was already leased. You'd think I learned my lesson the first time, but no. I applied for another property last week, via online I seen my application was complete so I attempted to call them and the recording said to email. I emailed and got a response saying the house is leased. Mind you, the house is still online stating available. This management company clearly just leaves houses up in order to get peoples' application fee. This is very unprofessional and slack.
