This place has great potential. In brief, the venue and view is great, the beer is solid, the parking is a little rough if they're busy, they're currently understaffed like many businesses in the area, and the systems in place certainly don't help make up for that. The food...eh...I wouldn't imagine that's your primary reason for visiting a brewery anyway, but I don't imagine you'd want to go out of your way for the food here. At breweries you should be ordering a snack to go with your beer, not a beer to go with your meal.
The venue is great. The building has a fun, visibly attractive appearance both in and out, with nice views from most areas. Sure, there are some quirks, like the areas upstairs being a bit narrow for the volume of guests, but that makes the view of downstairs more open and probably helps manage movement as well. Tough to get around at times, however, and it makes the crowded bar, which has chairs running the full length, seem even tighter. The bathrooms were also very nice, or at least the men's room upstairs was. Can't really comment on any others. Nicely sized, good layout, and clean.
We only had time for a few beers, so I can really only comment on the IPAs and Ale (specifically NEIPA 7, NEIPA 14, and their American Ale), but all three had nice moderate bitterness, clean finish, and were a bit more on the approachable end of the hop level spectrum. Nothing to knock your socks off, but all would be fine additions to most tap lists, and not likely to disappoint or be too polarizing.
Parking is a little rough, though they do have two lots of their own. Lots are quick to fill up, and other lots nearby are off-limits. We got lucky and were able to squeeze into a spot that had been almost blocked off by others parking in non-spots, but it worked out.
The waitstaff - they were visibly understaffed while we were there, but they seemed to be exacerbating that by not really having a system or setting guidelines to help manage swells in the crowd. No menus posted, nor any TV screens, hanging signs or any of the other standard brewery approaches to guiding your guests on making their selection. You curranty have to squeeze between other guests and steal one of the few handheld menus available, or get a bartender's attention (a seemingly difficult task with the current staff levels). So when a guest finally gets the bartender's attention, they aren't ready and the whole process slows down even more. PLEASE find a new approach for the menu, or at least print more of them. It also isn't clear where you can/should order from. Can I lean over the seated guests and just order from anywhere? Should I only order from the ends? Ordering food also seemed odd. They might deliver it, they might just call out your name. Hopefully that's a temporary staffing level issue as well.
Like I said in the beginning, overall this place has a lot of promise, and I'd add that some of my complaints or frustrations about the experience seem relatively fixable, so I both hope and imagine that this place will grow and improve with time. Until then, it's still worth checking out, but just know you may have to wait longer than expected, and may want to order beers in multiples to reduce the overall number of times you have to order.
