Great White

I love this new Great White location. First off this it’s probably their most aesthetic property yet making it the perfect place for brunch with your girls. We waited about 15 mins for a table for 5 people mid lunch rush onna Saturday. The staff was attentive and prompt despite the lunch rush. Highly recommend for a good plate in Brentwood.

It finally opened! Happy to see Great White opening in the area! We came for brunch on first opening weekend, and we got there just in time before having to wait as it got very busy! This spot as other ones is really nice, great vibe with outside seating as well. The food took a bit of time to come out. But it was really good. The breakfast burrito was delicious as always - This is mostly what I get. Our waiter was super nice! We’ll be coming back!

Good place with a great vibe. Young millennials and old gen Zs everywhere. Similar to other Great Whites in the area. Weird that they can only take your order all at once though. Your literally can’t order apps before your mains. We had people arrive late and we had to wait to order ANY food at all. Dock a star for that.

The food and drinks were excellent. It’s a great place for a group of friends or a date night. The host was kind and helpful with his great recommendations. The only bad part is the food and drinks took a long time (15 minutes).

We had a really great experience at Great White in Brentwood. We turned up without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. The host was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which set the tone for the rest of the meal. Service throughout was excellent — relaxed, efficient, and personal without ever feeling overbearing. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made a few recommendations that really paid off. It’s clear the staff care about both the food and the customer experience, which made the whole evening feel effortless and enjoyable. I ordered the black cod, which came with sautéed mushrooms, spinach, and a side of black rice. The cod was perfectly cooked — tender, flaky, and full of flavor. The mushrooms and spinach were rich and earthy, and the black rice was a great contrast in texture and taste. Everything felt thoughtfully put together and well-balanced. My friend had the smoked salmon pizza with a side salad, which was also excellent — the crust was light and crisp, the toppings fresh, and nothing felt overly heavy or greasy. For dessert, we shared the chocolate mousse. It was smooth, rich, and deeply chocolatey without being too sweet — a great way to finish the meal. The atmosphere is stylish but laid-back, making it a great place for a casual dinner that still feels special. It’s not trying too hard, which makes it all the more enjoyable. We never felt rushed, and even though it got busier as the night went on, the service stayed consistent. Overall, Great White Brentwood really delivered — great food, excellent service, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. It’s rare to find a place that hits all three, but this one does. Will absolutely come back.

I was in Brentwood today and have been wanting to try this place. For some reason I thought the Great White name came from the clean ingredients and no seed oils used at these restaurants but I was wrong. It literally is named after the shark. That’s cool. This place has a very cool vibe, outdoorsy with greenery and comfortable seating, although VERY close together. The food was excellent and my drink was strong. The service however, wasn’t the best. My waiter didn’t know much about the menu and then I noticed when he waited in the table next to me, since we were so close, I could hear every word, and they seemed annoyed with him. They wanted a different glass of wine and he didn’t know how to help them it seemed. They just said forget it and let it be. The person who brought me my did was different than the waiter and he just put the plate down hastily and said nothing to me and walked away very fast. It was strange.

Wow!! What an amazing place!! I love everything about this place. First, I would like to start with the atmosphere, who ever designed this place did a fantastic job! This place is so beautiful. It has so many light colors that I love! Second, is the service. The waiter that served us was very sweet. She gave us recommendations of really popular foods here I really liked it because she was so nice and sweet to us. Last was the food, This was incredible!!! The pizza was amazing. It felt like I was actually in Italy this time. They gave us guacamole and these chips that was very good I really loved the guacamole. The fish was incredible too. I really love the food here. The chicken kabab had little to no seasoning and relies heavily on the lemon slice for flavor. It also was a rather gross cut of meat that was heavy in cartilage and needed to be spit out a couple of times. After the server attempted to take our food orders and we asked for more time, it then took them 20-30min to come back around for appetizer orders. Not to mention the 25min after they cleared the plates, they then swing back around asking if we wanted dessert, to which already said we did when we ordered the mains. We asked questions about the dessert and alluded to wanted to order the pudding. That was probably the only good thing there. It’s over hyped and just flat out not good. P.S. I am almost certain they add water to the soap instead of using new ones. It was wayyyyy to watery and the strength of the spray on the pump was soapy water and didn’t have any thickness to it. Which is gross when the people working there are probably not washing their hands with actual soap and just soapy water.

I loved my time here. Everything went smoothly. We were sitted immediately, served promptly. The food was outstanding! The salad was so good, that I had do go to farmers market to buy some real tomatoes:)) The pizza was excellent! Thin crust, supreme sauce . I really enjoyed it! If I'm in are would love to come back !

5 Stars! Absolutely loved this spot -- everything from the food to the vibes was on point! Smoked Salmon Pizza - The crust was perfectly crispy, and the smoked salmon laid right on top brought a simple yet super flavorful experience. So satisfying! Blue Smoothie Bowl - Hands down the BEST smoothie bowl I've had in LA! Perfect sweetness, refreshingly cold, topped with tons of granola and fresh fruit. Also super Instagram-worthy. Highly recommend!! Ceviche - Light, tangy, and super fresh. The fish was excellent quality, and the little taro chips on the side were a perfect touch. A great appetizer to start with. Great White Breakie - A slightly elevated take on a classic American breakfast. The plating was beautiful, and the taste didn't disappoint. Great choice if you're into traditional flavors. Atmosphere & Service - Total California beach vibes with wooden accents, greenery, and sunny outdoor seating. Super chill and relaxing! The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back again. This place is a gem!

I have always loved Great White and this is my first time at their Brentwood location. Everything went great! The host, Gerard, was really kind and was able to seat us right away. Our server, Charlie, was really friendly and checked in on us a lot. The food here is always great. The breakfast burrito and shrimp pasta were standouts for me. The drinks are just okay, a little expensive for what it is, but worth trying once. Cute ambiance in the restaurant and has a few outdoor seating. Inside can be a little bit crowded and noisy, but still a good experience. Lots of street parking around too!

Pretty good food. Service is a bit slow and please make sure you do not sit at the corner against the wall... Because the AC is on full blast and even though I asked them to turn it down, they didn't and now I am suffering from a pretty bad cold! It was freezing! I wasn't too impressed with the chicken sandwich. I've had much better elsewhere. It's more of a "scene" than anything else.

Awesome place, i love their food and drinks, everything was very fresh, also they were able to modify my drink which I loved, they are very busy on the weekends but actually they sit people pretty fast, this location is big and they even accommodate small parties at the bar, the entire place is very clean, the ambience is super cool very trendy and they project a lot of peace, they have a huge staff all what we need and order didn't take a lot and the price is fair i think.

This place has amazing food and great service and such a cute vibe! We had the banana bread, breakfast burrito, and great white breakie and they were all super flavorful and delicious. The banana bread was the perfect consistency and perfect blend of salty sweet. The burrito was tasty and had salsa that paired with it perfectly. Everything included in the breakie was delicious, from the tomatoes to the eggs and goat cheese, they all went together perfectly. We also really enjoyed our margaritas and shaken iced lattes. The only downsides are that they don't take brunch reservations and so we were told the wait would be 35 minutes around noon on a Saturday and it ended up being closer to an hour. Additionally, parking can be a challenge in that area - although there is a lot next door to the restaurant, but it's pricey.

Wow what a nightmare. I have been to both locations in Weho and larchmont. Never had an issue with my little 5 pound Pom named chu chu. The host was so rude and the server was even worse when we had to be greeted by her. We ended up just packing up and leaving and not bothering to have our morning ruined by this establishments bad attitude.

Really nice and chill spot to get a solid breakfast/brunch in. Been several times. Staff is friendly, service is great, and the food is good as well. Not insanely knock it out of the park mind blowing good, but absolutely reliably good.

Such a fun addition to the neighborhood! Plenty of street parking & it's a beautiful space. We got the ceviche, chopped salad, mushroom pizza. mousse, paired with a spicy margarita and a glass of the chilled red. All the food tasted amazing, service was great even though they were super busy. Ambience is fun, romantic, and ideal for a summertime hang.

came here for breakfast, had the green juice which was delicious. Kind of a small glass but hey, we are in LA. The avocado toast was not only beautiful but scrumptious as well. I think the main thing is the bread here the bread is done so perfectly that you get that good crunch. The waiter was super friendly, overall a great experience and would come back.

An awesome addition to the Westside. I usually only get lunch or brunch here, so I'll only speak to that. I love their breakfast sandwich, burrito and hotcakes. Their breakfast sandwich is super flavorful and slightly sweet due to the tamarind chutney. Their breakfast burrito is also super solid and their accompanying salsa adds good flavor albeit not much heat. I only wish they were both bigger especially given the price. Service-wise, everyone is very nice and helpful. As for the vibes, it's very airy and open-air. It has a bohemian style that is overall appealing. Parking is a bit of a pain tho

While I've enjoyed this restaurant at its other locations, the Great White in Brentwood has a few things to work on. For the good, the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous with its color schemes and its open wall concept. The restaurant has a summer feel to it and is located in a location that gives it space for numerous tables inside and outside as well as multiple places to park. The food at Great White is always great and we were excited to eat after a hard workout class after brunch. My friend and I ordered the Great white Brekkie and the breakfast burrito. Both had great portions and were flavorful. So I had to give the restaurant 3 stars due to the service. The restaurant seemed to be overwhelmed by the foot traffic which seemed to be since there were two people trying to man the front and the restaurant. My friend and I waited in line for a bit and registered for two people for a table. We were told to wait on the side. They continued to sit other people who were before us and we realized they forgot about us. The server who first greeted us then asked us why we were standing on the side and once we reminded him that we asked for a table for two and he told us to wait on the side, they tried to find us a table. No big deal, I don't mind waiting but the restaurant seemed disorganized on the check in process. Secondly, they forgot food items from my plate. Due to me having been to other locations, I knew what was supposed to be on the Great White Brekkie. Once I realized, I flagged down our server who was able to correct the issue and bring out what I ordered. Great restaurant. I hope they find their stepping and find a way to organize better.

I was truly impressed by the ambience and aesthetic of this place--it's beautifully designed and has a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food fell short of expectations and didn't quite suit my taste. While the staff was courteous, the service itself left much to be desired. We had to request water multiple times and I ultimately left feeling thirsty. Basic essentials like cutlery and napkins were initially forgotten and when the oversight was noticed, the waitress did apologize and bring some over--but not enough for everyone at the table. I visited on a Monday afternoon and despite it being a weekday the place was quite busy.

Love this location actually West Hollywood is also a vibe. I love the dinning area with the wood roof allowing a cool natural breeze come through while you dine. I didn't have a reservation, but our wait time was 30minutes in a Sunday afternoon (1ish time) . Decided Yogas a drink at the bar too while I wait for my table. We were seated within the 30-35 minute period. The food was amazing, the market salad was delicious. The shrimp salad was savory and the noddles were thick. The Daviola pizza was also amazing. I had a second drink while I dined. Overall great service, very busy but the team is fast efficient and friendly. I'll definitely visit this location.

An absolute vibe. Great White has multiple locations in LA, but Brentwood is their latest opening. The design is gorgeous and the perfect setting for those of you that have an eye for aesthetics. I came here right when they opened on a Saturday morning and was seated immediately. I ordered a strawberry matcha, banana bread, and breakfast burrito. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered and yes, the prices are very LA, but a beautiful setting paired with some good food and service, no complaints.

My friend and I went here last week for lunch and enjoyed the indoor outdoor casualness of this new Brentwood location. My friend had the grilled chicken sandwich and the side salad while I enjoyed the burger and fries. Service was fine nothing special and we most likely will be back

Great White is such a cute spot in the heart of Brentwood! Whether you're visiting friends for a brunch reunion or it's date night, you can't go wrong with the menu. My friend and I ordered to share the mixed greens salad with grilled chicken as an add on, and the salad's vinaigrette was citrusy and really complemented the greens and chicken. We also shared a margherita pizza and fries, both of which were deliscious. The fries were perfectly seasoned and really crispy, and the pizza dough tasted freshly made. Our server was so sweet and made sure our food was brought to us quickly; she suggested the sourdough bread pudding for dessert, her favorite. It was amazing! While the location is super cute, it was a bit crowded. However, the indoor/outdoor setup makes the location really spacious and easy to make conversation. I'd recommend showing up a bit earlier to find street parking!

Food was good but just be aware that there's a 90 minute dining window that you are expected to know (it's somewhere on the reservation interface). We were unapologetically and abruptly told to leave. Would be a little classier to provide a reminder before the time is up -- or at least inform the entire party as you seat them since some may not know. That way everyone can be ready to condense their stories into anecdotes and skip straight to the punchline.

Amazing vibe and service! Came for lunch with a few friends and the drinks and menu did not disappoint. The margarita was amazing! Had a few of the salads and French fries. Friendly service and overall a great experience!

Loved this spot! This was such a fun stop on our trip from Carlsbad (San Diego) to Santa Barbara. The drinks (iced coffee) and entrees were phenomenal. Mushroom pizza and burger -- rare finds and we'd go back!

Brand, new location, already very well run. I love their pizza, salads, as well as drinks. Their coffee and Matcha is outstanding, as are their cocktails. It's already extremely busy here, I suggest coming when they open or later in the evening to avoid a weight. The food is high-quality, perfectly executed and beautifully presented. Well worth the sport. Great addition to the area, highly recommended!

I would return back here mainly because of Tatiana. She was so sweet and made it an excellent experience.

Great White is our favorite casual, well priced and tasty breakfast spot. The menu is an eclectic mix of healthy and delicious. We love the West Hollywood location best. The servers are all great too!

First time here the food and service are amazing! Kylie and Laughlin, our servers were super kind and courteous. The place just opened a few months ago. Highly recommend this place!

Service was great attentive and chill. The food was great i personally had the breakfast burrito. I noted that usually places do not mix the food inside the burrito and this place mixes it so you get everything in every bite. Which i love! The banana bread was so yummy the crispy edges were great and it wasn't too sweet. Aesthetic eats i loved the patio vibes and open windows! Overall would go again

It's not quite as charming as the Venice or WeHo locations, but is still a cute and needed addition to the neighborhood! Wish they had utilized the roof for a deck... that would've been iconic.

The food at Great White was absolutely delicious, and we were really looking forward to a good experience. Unfortunately, the service specifically one waiter completely ruined it. We were a party of three and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated, which was fine. Once seated, we ordered appetizers and lunch and were genuinely enjoying ourselves. But just as we were finishing up having been there for maybe 40 minutes total a waiter came up to us and abruptly told us they needed the table "very soon." We were shocked by how rude and unprofessional he was. What made it worse was that other tables around us had been there much longer and were left alone. We felt singled out and rushed out for no reason. As much as I loved the food, that kind of treatment was unacceptable and left a really bad taste in my mouth. Sadly, I won't be returning anytime soon.

Disappointing- heard so much about this place. Tried many times to go to the Venice location, but each time parking was an issue. This location in Brentwood is Soooo loud. Cannot hear the person across from you. Too close to the strangers eating at next tables. Pretentious crowd. Food is delicious, however not sure worth the cost. Worth it if you're a Brentwood local, not if you are a visitor looking for a place to eat and don't have the cash to throw. There are many other spots with delicious affordable plates and where you can hear the person you are dining with.

Brunched at Great White and loved every bite! I had the avocado toast and the hotcakes--both were absolutely delicious. The avocado toast was fresh and vibrant, with the perfect balance of seasoning and crunch. The hotcakes were next-level--fluffy, lightly sweet, and topped with just the right amount of fruit and syrup. Total comfort food with a twist. The atmosphere is relaxed and coastal-cool, and even though it was busy, the service was friendly and efficient. Everything felt well thought out, from the ingredients to the plating. If you're into high-quality brunch with great vibes, Great White is a must. Already planning my next visit!

Good food, great service, and love the ambiance. Just don't attempt to have a business lunch here unless you dine at one of the few tables outside. The noise level indoors is insane.

Food was good place was lively service lacked experience and attentiveness ordered a Chardonnay and it was a Avignon blanc. Waiter disputed. But that's ok. once is enough for me. ONE and DONE

Amazing birthday dinner. Highly recommend the crispy chicken wings, avocado spread & Ceviche. The desserts were sublime. Had a wonderful time. We will be going back!

Showed up pretty early on a Sunday for brunch and there was still a bit of a wait. We waited about 40 minutes to be seated and the overall experience inside was great. The waiter we had was very attentive and friendly. We got the shaken iced latte and it was just not good and pretty watery. The food however was spectacular. We got the pancakes and the breakfast burrito and both tasted great. The eggs were a little runny but overall it still tasted very good. Would definitely go back

A welcome addition to the area. Friendly and attentive servers. Well crafted cocktails and one of the best gin martinis on the planet. Excellent Caesar salad and the pizzas in my opinion are way better than Pizzana down the street.

I am typically a fan of great white, love the food and vibe. I don't know if it's the growing pains of a new location or what but the service was terrible. No menus for 20 mins. No waters. Servers rarely came by the table - always had to flag them down. The food was overpriced, 20+ dollars for a tiny breakfast burrito w no sides. Stick to the other locations

We came here for my friend Tara's graduation lunch (she's a doctor!!!!!!) and Justin gave us exceptional service. He went above and beyond to answer all of our questions, make substitutions to accommodate our kosher diets, and to make Tara's day as special as possible. The food was phenomenal!! We really had a special time and Justin made it particularly amazing. Can't wait to come back. Thank you!

Great service! Great food! The pizza is a must as well as the pasta. The bread pudding was delicious as well. I recommend a reservation though, otherwise there will be a wait.

Cute ambience but they wouldn't seat me a few minutes early even with the restaurant mostly empty and no bar area or other place to even wait for a table. For a casual place this pricey (~$30 for a chicken kabob plate), I would give it a hard pass. Nothing to write home about and much better places to eat nearby.

Expensive and a crazy wait for a weekday, but really great food with a staff that are super nice.

Delicious vegan options and a great indoor/outdoor vibe. Also loved my cocktail and chai latte.

Loved this new spot! The vibe was great, the food was super tasty, and the drinks were on point. Our server Ivan was so kind and made the experience even better. Definitely coming back!
