The young people working there were very nice and polite. The bathroom you have to walk through the stockroom to get to a tiny little bathroom. The bathroom is clean but that place could use a remodel... Spanakopita was very very small but it tasted good. If I had known it was so small I would have bought 4 of them. The salad is really good, we had a steak and a chicken platter the beef was delicious, the chicken was very dry. It was not cooked fresh but it tasted good. The hummus is very coarse no olive oil... more Bean flavor than anything the pita bread was delicious. If I lived in the area I would eat here because I love Greek food.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. This place has been open for as long as I can remember. Got a gyro athenian style with a side of potatoes. Service was good and food was fresh. Two thumbs up.

I come eat Greek at least once a week at the Hapeville Grecian Gyro restaurant right off of the exit. The service is phenomenal and the food is addictive. I tried a loaded potato bowl with extra sauce and it was amazing. Will continue to return. Justin is the best. Extremely hospitable staff.

The Grecian Gyro was very good. Sauce was amazing and not tangy. Wayyyyyy better then what I have had in the past. Fries were definitely on point with the Greek dust seasoning. I will most definitely be coming back

Forest park location isn't good so we decide to ride to the Virginia location . Service is always great my only complaint is the portions you get. I was in the restaurant when another customer complained about he paid extra for steak and it was still a small portion. I will visit in the day time hopefully I can get more chicken. Maybe portions are smaller at night

It was busy and hustling in the restaurant but with the friendly and prepared staff, they had my order ready and early. Fresh salad, flavorful chicken that was half moist and half hard. Cookies were delicious.

I really tried to like the gyro plate but it's just not hot and fresh enough for me. The potatoes are luke warm and the meat is dry and not even edible as a result of being pre-cut off the spit. The salad greens weren't crispy and fresh, they were withered. Please do your research to know the proper way to serve gyros (i.e. Meat stays on the spit at a low flame and is cut when ordered then warmed on a HOT grill! I came here based on the reviews so obviously people don't know or haven't experienced what great or even really good Greek food tastes like because this isn't it.

Love this place! As their saying goes, we try to come at least once a week! They are open on Sundays even though Google sats otherwise! We always get a gyro wrap and maybe a side salad. They don't skimp on the gyro meat! I always pull some off for Luke (the dog). Prices are very reasonable! Definitely your money's worth! Fast, friendly service and great ambiance! Awesome outdoor seating also available.

I've had this restaurant bookmarked on my list of places to try. After leaving my doctor's appointment I decided today was the day to try it out. Upon arriving to the location, the parking lot was semi-packed, making it hard to find a spot. I lucked up on a space though lol. Walking inside it gave me a diner vibe where you can sit at the counter and watch the cooks prepare your food. The young lady who took my order was very friendly and had amazing customer service. I decided on the chicken wrap with a side of potatoes. It seems like my order was completed almost instantly. I wasn't even sitting down three minutes and she was handing me my bag. When I got home, my wrap was still hot. Not warm, not lukewarm, but HOT. I bit into it and my tastebuds did a happy dance, and I'm not going to lie I did one too lol. The chicken breast was soooooo juicy and seasoned to perfection. The onions, peppers, and tomatoes gave it the perfect crunch. The sauce, oh my, it was soooo tasty. The potatoes were also amazing with just the right amount of crunch. Let's just say, I was mad at myself for waiting so long to go here. I will be visiting them again soon, especially if I'm on that side of town.

Nothing fancy, just good food. Location and Parking Located in Hapeville, there is a small, free lot just outside the front door. Venue and Atmosphere Order at the counter, grab a seat, and wait for your name to be called. The restaurant is diner style, meaning you can see the lamb roasting from your seat. The bathrooms are in the back of the restaurant, through a storage space. Not a cute trek to get there but they are clean. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Food and Beverages Perfectly cooked lamb gyro, home made tzatziki sauce, and fresh greek salad. What more could you ask for? The greek potatoes are well seasoned and just crispy enough. I'll try the desserts another time, but they looked yummy as well. Verdict I'll be back!

I have been patronizing this location for over 20 years when you would see Nick running the show. I absolutely adore this place and the employees. Authentic Greek wraps at it finest. Food always hot and fresh. must have this on your list of good eats.

My Gyro plate was delivered before the indicated time. The food was delicious, the salad was fresh exception (the tomatoes weren't fresh) I'd order again in the near future

I've been going to the Virginia ave location since the mid/late 80s when I was a teenager. The Gyro combo has always been what I have had. Service is also good, at times since the place is small there can be wait just to order. Best way to skip that, don't go during lunch hours, the delta employees full the place up.

Best Gyros! Potatoes. Yumm! For lunch or dinner! Worth the price and authentic spit! Phil, Nessa, Tami & Kelia were friendly and professional! Great service and love from a customer service perspective!

Always a great meal. Stopped by for an early lunch, they open at 1000. I was the first one and what a way to beat the normal crowds. Food was quick and tasty. The gentleman that made my plate really took pride in the the order. Everything was great as always. The only issue is that one employee was getting reprimanded for something and it was done inside the dining area. As I was the only customer, I was not comfortable with the discussion going on. Management not being professional in my opinion. This conversation should happen in a different location/time. Also, the gyro platter, baklava and a tea cost around $23. Lunch is getting expensive.

I was in town for a month and working in a clinic close by and my coworker kept recommending this spot. I was always like "no, I brought my lunch today". One day, I didn't and he bought me lunch from Grecian Gyro - he was determined to have me try their food. He got me the Gyro plate. When I took the to-go box from him, I'm like "wow are they trying to feed an army in one thing?!" There was SO MUCH FOOD in the box y'all! The sweet aroma of all the spices dancing together hit me first and my mouth watered. Everything looked amazing. The gyro was so yummy and juicy. There was so much food that I had it for lunch, dinner and lunch the following day. It was so good I had my Aunt and Uncle meet me for lunch there the last day I was in town... they decided to make it a tradition!

Stopped by here the other day on the way back from Atlanta for a quick on-the-road bite. The interior looks kind of like a waffle house, with a counter you order from and mostly to-go with some outdoor seating. I ordered two gyro wraps which came out to only about $16-17 for both and felt it was well worth it. Each gyro was stuffed to the brim with meat that was well seasoned and tender enough considering the price. The yogurt sauce helped keep things moist, and the pita bread it was wrapped in was nice and soft. They also threw in a few raw onions here and there. Overall for $8 a wrap, I feel like this is as cheap as it gets in Atlanta while still maintaining solid quality, especially with the speed of service and convenience. Would definitely stop by again if near the airport area.

The lamb gyro was so delicious I had to double back and get another one. The lamb was so tender and juicy with the tzatziki sauce. I also had a spinach patty it was tasty,the crust was flaky and buttery and the spinach was creamy. The service was good I didn't have to wait a long time.

This is my favorite place to get a gyro. Honestly, this is the best (in my opinion) to eat in Atlanta when it comes to tasty gyros.

It would be less if possible!!! Great food but their staff is totally terrible now. The lady at the register thought it was much better to play on her phone than take orders off the patrons. Let's start this review with a vital question: How do you say "gyro"? I'll let you hash it out with yourself and your loved ones but no matter what, Grecian Gyro is definitely one of the top spots to grab one and so many other Greek dishes! I'm still settling into Atlanta but I've had Grecian Gyro almost a half dozen times already! After my bf had a veggie wrap and potatoes from them, (due to a differences in schedules, I was eating from another restaurant) and I (enthusiastically) tasted his, I was hooked. They're also on UberEats so I quickly became a fan but haven't had much interaction at the store, so this is simply based on flavor. :) Greek food is so packed with flavor, I love that Grecian Gyro is offering up delicious meals at with fast food timing. My personal favorite? The Chicken wrap with lettuce & cucumbers, Potatoes + Baklava! The vegetables are also so crisp and flavorful, the chicken is delicious and the pita, freshly baked. And the potatoes? Omg. It's not a time to count carbs because they're addictive! They have such a delicious seasoning to them and paired with their Greek sauce? Ugh, I could eat them every. Single. Day. The portions are just about right but nothing to write home about, but you get your fill. The potatoes are a MUST. (Did I already say that?) Omg, they a must-order + the sauce! I haven't tried them with the additional topping options but believe me, that's next because I'm definitely planning on being a repeat customer!

If you don't mind or look at the tables, this place is amazing. The cashier knows who I am. This food and the sauce alone are why I come back over and over !

We live close to Grecian Gyro and love it for a quick, casual lunch or dinner. There is not a lot of seating inside but when the weather is decent there's a great covered patio as well as a nice playground around the corner if you're bringing kiddos. The food is consistently good and relatively cheap. It's truly a "dive" so don't expect lavish table service, but we're here for the comfort food, not a white tablecloth situation.

Loved this place. Great spot to stop if you're catching a flight. Not far from the airport. Just make sure you have extra time because the lines are long but the food is fabulous.

Food is good, it was the cashier that was higher than a kite on some drugs. He couldn't remember anything for more than a few seconds, fouled up everybody's order causing chaos. It turned out quick lunch stop into an hour long fiasco trying to sort out the mess. Whoever is the manager there should not allow this.

Food was very delicious ! Chicken & Potatoes had good flavor and seasoning . The sauce for the chicken & potatoes was GREAT . The salad that came with it was fresh , with good toppings . Portion size enough for 2 people. Would recommend If you looking for Greek food or a different taste of foods

My husband told me about this place a long time ago in Hapeville not far from the International Airport. On our way for vacation, I finally got to see what he raved about all these years. This place was sooo good and had the best taziki sauce I've ever had! The staff were super nice and helpful with the kids orders. My youngest even claimed that this was one of his favorite restaurants by far! We had the gyro wrap, pork wrap, and the loaded potatoes. The Greek potatoes were wonderfully seasoned and tasted so good especially with the taziki sauce on top. The loaded potatoes had feta cheese, choice of meat, grilled onions and red bell peppers. The kids loved this. The next time I'll add grilled onions and peppers to my wrap. This was a staff suggestion and it was easy for the kids to eat with a fork. The sauce is AMAZING and be sure to try the spicy version which is Taziki kicked up with sirracha. It's a super small place so seating can be a challenge, but we are already trying to figure out how to stop there again on our way home.

Food is delicious, service is okay and ambiance is giving hole in a wall. The appearance of restaurant does give Waffle House vibes you see the kitchen behind the register. Small dining spot. The food is fire! It's delicious. Definitely recommend if looking for something quick.

I've eaten at this restaurant many times over the years. I may even have another review on this place. However, things have changed. This Gyro that I bought today is half the size of the ones I used to get here. Can't tell you if the price has gone up, but at half the size, it's like paying double. Very disappointing and probably a reason for me not to return.

We dined in. When ordering another customer came back into the restaurant complaining that his order was messed up. We should have paid attention. After ordering we waited 40 minutes for our food. There was zero communication from the staff. After 30 minutes we asked and they said "slammed by on line orders" . When we got the food 2 of the 4 meals were 100% incorrect. We spent $57 with drinks. Clearly the staff was not trained/sufficient to handle the volume and did not even know how to process a refund for one of the gyros that was supposed to be chicken but wasn't; and was not what was ordered so they messed up one order twice. Sadly my wife and son have had positive experiences at his location during the day.

Great food !!! Gyros and fries, desert, and great service. The ambiance is that of classic carry out but you can sit and eat.

Quality Greek food at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and made suggestions. Our food was ready in about 5-10 minutes and we enjoyed it outside on their patio. The food was fresh and cooked to order. The sauce on the potatoes was recommended and we enjoyed it. The wrapped gyro was a little over salted but it didn't ruin the dish. The parking lot is a pain because it's so small and it's so close to the corner. We watched a lot of people have difficulty parking and pulling back out onto the main road. Overall, this place is busy for a reason. Yes, it's a little rough around the edges but they have tasty food.

I really love this spot. Even though it's on the corner, it's worth every penny. The Grecian Salad was so fresh and the Gyro plate was filling and had enough to share with my brother. Wow and the service was great. I recommend this place to anyone who ask.

My love of a gyro has been completely destroyed. If I even get the aroma in the future it will remind me of this horrible gyro! Worst "tzatziki" sauce I have ever had, tasting like ranch dressing with a shaker of salt dumped in! The gyro was like an oily cloth wrapped around a lamb with the hooves hanging out with only the flavor of the horrible "tzatziki" blob! Yuk!

I ordered via their website to pickup food at a certain time. 25mins i had to wait. Food I guess was good but barely had time to enjoy it.

I've been a customer for many years. Unfortunately, the restaurant now only employs giggling teens who care more about chatting with each other than taking care of customers and delivering the experience Grecian Gyro has always been known for. The food quality hasn't suffered because I'm sure responsible people do all the prep so the children only have to dump things on the grill and assemble plates. Herein lies the problem since the kids can't be bothered to assemble a complete plate. Just so you understand, the attached picture was supposed to be a $14.00 shrimp plate with salad and potatoes. As you can see, no potatoes and a little lettuce and tomato that is no excuse for an actual salad -- no dressing either. Maybe we can try another location but Hapeville needs to get its act together before I return.

Very disappointed with my food and the service tonight. The service was slow, I mean it took 20 minutes for a gyro plate. The operation just seemed confused. No one realized that there was no meat on the cooktop which caused my order to be behind. My meat was over cooked and my potatoes weren't crispy. I won't be going back at night, I'll stick to the day time when the service and food quality is better

Quality Mediterranean Food in the heart of Hapeville. I tried their signature gyro with comes with a Greek Salad . I got the potatoes with feta cheese on them and which was great as well. I ordered this food from DoorDash so I'm not sure how the interior of the restaurant looks. I will definitely come back whenever I have a taste for great gyros. This restaurant does not disappoint.
