"At the Seaport location of fast-casual Greek restaurant Greco, diners can get two flavors of a boozy granita with takeout orders: One features mastiha, a woody liqueur, with basil, lemon, and watermelon, while the other combines Xinomavro, a Greek wine, with cinnamon, orange, and pomegranate. "Greco Seaport, styled as GreCo, will soon open at the Pier 4 office building next to Tatte in Boston’s Seaport District. The restaurant features a concise menu and builds on the success of its Back Bay location by adding extra coffee options and a bit of booze. It will serve exclusive private label beer and wine sourced from a mom-and-pop producer from Crete. The new location will also roll out an updated loukoumas menu and seasonal items like a vegan mushroom gyro. Designed with raw materials from Greece, the space spans 2,800 square feet, seats 60 inside, and has space for 40 outside. It operates seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m." - Dana Hatic

I recently visited GRECO and ordered the chicken plate. I was extremely disappointed with the amount of protein provided. For the price I paid, the portion of chicken was laughably small. It felt like a joke for a dish that is supposed to be centered around protein. I expected much better and won’t be returning

I've enjoyed Greco (other locations) in the past, so I was looking forward to having a yummy and quick lunch in Seaport during a conference. I got a Greek salad with chicken and eggplant. The eggplant was good and the veggies were fresh. The chicken seemed very plentiful, but it turned out it had a bunch of the ligaments/tendons as well as skin mixed in, and relatively little meat. I personally didn't enjoy the chicken at all, but I might have had a bad batch. The lemon rice chicken soup (avgolemono) tasted exactly like the description, so nothing much to say there. It was pretty filling. The orange lemonade was decent. The staff here are nice and there's a nice little shop with baked goods and other food items. Overall nothing stood out from what I tried, and I really didn't enjoy the chicken. I wouldn't come here again.

Google
Food wise this place is 5 stars, really high quality lamb gyros for the price point. Layout of the restaurant is a bit weird, it’s long and narrow and seating was hard to find. They do have a nice water machine. It wasn’t clear if you’re suppose to clear your own tray and customer service overall was subpar. Will likely just get to go next time.

Google
High quality grilled meats with home made tzatziki and other sauces. The mix grill is a great way to try everything they offer. I’ve been coming here almost every month since I live nearby. I’ve noticed inflation hitting hard and they’ve decreased the portion, but the quality is still high.

I ordered a chicken gyro plate with zucchini chips and an orange blossom lemonade, recommended by another Google review. Chicken gyro plate: chicken had good flavor and texture, zucchini chips were yummy but hard to finish because they are fatty and there was a lot. I liked that the chicken and pita were warm.I think there were not enough tomatoes...I love tomatoes. Orange blossom lemonade: There was too much going on. Strong floral flavor. Was worth trying but I didn’t enjoy it. I was confused on how to eat the plate so I just put a little bit of everything on a pita and dipped it in the honey mustard, but there wasn’t enough pita for the whole plate. My friend got the chicken gyro and she enjoyed it, especially the fries The restaurant layout is interesting but I wish it wasn't as compact and crowded. My fault for sitting near the tray return area but there were no other good seats. Comfy chairs though! I think my meal was not worth the price, but it was a nice experience.

Google
Okay location, good food, meh bathroom, meh service. The food itself is fresh and tasted good for the most part. They didn't ask about what we wanted, and we wanted to customize it. The bathroom is outside of the store itself and was a bit of a mess. Parking is really difficult.

Google
GRECO is an Americanized fast food Greek restaurant franchise. You can enjoy classic Greek flavors in a bowl style. Although I like the concept, I found this restaurant quite bad. The main issue is that the hot meat products, when combined with cold salads and sauces, cause the fat to solidify, resulting in an unpleasant and unappetizing taste and appearance. To improve this, I recommend using containers with separate compartments for different components. On a positive note, their salads are good. However, I felt that the sauces were not very fresh. There are definitely better alternatives available in the area.

Since I moved to the area, this is my go to place for an easy and clean meal. Consistent and delicious. The Loukamades are deadly addicting so be careful!

Yelp
Walked in shortly after the business opened on a Monday morning, and noticed the running promo, which was first order through the app gets your $3 off. I immediately opted for that option, but first took a look at the sides before ordering online. I was greeted, the service was super fast, and when I asked for a side of additional sauce for the little salad they didn't give me push back (highly appreciated). With that said, the service was good, and to top it off the playlist was great! I ordered the vegetarian plate with zucchini chips, and a side of halloumi, my meal was delicious. The chips were on the oilier side but I still enjoyed them. If you're in the area, and you're in the mood for Greek food this is a solid option. I must admit, when I'm in the area I'll definitely be back!

James K.

Yelp
Food below average. Services were ok. Fast food style, nothing to say about thar. Ambiance is ok. Fast food style, complimentary to the rest of the places in seaport. If you think you are going there for a greek experience, don't. Overpriced, you will be sorry you spent $20 on a Lamb Gyro.

Yelp
Bright spot in a quieter part of Seaport, right next to the Institute of Contemporary Art. This was my second time here and I enjoyed my meal. We came right after they opened on Saturday around 11 and were the only ones there. The space is light and airy, and has a good amount of seating. The service was friendly and we watched as they put together our food. We both ordered pork pita wraps, but for some reason, mine was more filled than the other. Regardless, it tasted nice and fresh. You can even see the meat spinning around in the back.

Nivi R.

Yelp
Yum! This place is right next door to my workplace in Seaport. Was craving something indulgent but also healthy - this was perfect. Got the bowl with the dips, spicy feta and roasted eggplant, both delish - but the feta was just insane! Halloumi for protein - get the spicy honey!! A few fries to indulge. I was a very happy girl after this lunch!

Elizabeth Z.

Yelp
LOVED this place. the food was absolutely delicious. we got a chicken gyro plate with rice, tomatoes, onions and garlic sauce, a chicken gyro with tzatziki, arugula, tomatoes and potatoes. both meals were SO good. service was fast, and super friendly!! the lemonade was also yummy; i think it was mixed with some herb (basil maybe) but really good. the place was clean and the bathrooms were also clean. ambiance was nice; busy but not overwhelmingly so. free water with ice as well!!

Mag T.

Yelp
Placed a togo order for the beef plate and based off photos I was expecting a plump beef patty. What i got was extremely thin beef. The zucchini chips did not come with tzatziki dip. I asked the worker for a fork as they were behind the counter. He points to them and says they are right there. There were forks and napkins next to the register that I didn't see. It was rude because if you are packing a togo order utensils and napkins should come in the bag. All of the Food was extremely SALTY. Very disappointed with this experience.

Yelp
Greco is a fast casual Greek restaurant. Their menu includes Greek pitas, plates, salads, skewers, and desserts. I like to order their lamb platter (includes pita bread and a side), bifteki (ground beef) pita which includes fries, or the lamb chop feast which comes with 3 pieces of lamb, salad, fries, and pita bread. If you have a large group, the mixed grill or souvlaki platter are good combination meals that have a little bit of everything. The meat is tender, well seasoned, and packs a lot of flavor. The service here is good. The employees were nice and friendly. We asked for sauce on the side and they gave us two large sauce containers of spicy feta and tzatziki. Our food was ready within 5 minutes or so and they brought it out to our table. There are free water cups by the cash register. It's still around Christmas so they had plenty of Christmas decorations including wreaths, snowmen, and mini Christmas trees around. They also painted on the walls a realistic tree and had library decorations with a ladder near the back. They have separate male and female bathrooms that are just outside the restaurant that were clean. Parking can be tough since it's seaport but there is some street parking and some garages nearby. Overall, Greco is good choice is you're in Seaport looking for some healthy fast food at an affordable price.

Yelp
Amazing fresh Greek food at reasonable price! Service was quick but they took care to prepare my order with the exceptions in needed. Great open space, floor to ceiling windows, outdoor seating available. Will definitely return!

Brian W.

Yelp
Had a thoroughly mediocre lamb gyro. Staying in the seaport district and needed a late lunch. Greco wasn't crowded (should have been red flag #1); the Tatte next door was (tempted to go to that amazing place, but did not - stupid me). This Greco location is in an odd, thin space. Very clean. Ok service. But you really just come here to get a good meal, and it was really lacking. Plenty of lamb, tomatoes, onion, and tzatziki sauce (with fries in the pita). Only the potatoes seemed to be well seasoned. Everything else was squarely meh. Oh, and what is the oddball collection of stuff on the walls? Looks for sale. Just seems kind of weird.

Yelp
This was a nice walk over from the Westin. The lamb was a little too charred but it was a good bowl overall. A fresh, healthy alternative. The chicken also a bit too charred and the bowl overall could have used a little more flavor. But again, it was nice to have a healthy and fresh tasting meal -- I think I was just expecting the flavors of the bowls to be a bit better, like my favorite Greek bowl place in NYC. Loved the market and the Greek olive oil. Bought some cookies- they were a bit stale. Worth a visit.

Cassi K.

Yelp
This location was super nice and spacious and the staff was very friendly and helpful! They gave good portions and it was quite flavorful. I especially liked the spicy pita dip and charred eggplant dip. I want to try their loukamades next time! This location also has a small market off to the side with some desserts (like baklava) and other assorted shelf stable foods.

Navya V.

Yelp
This was a great place to stop by to grab food after a long drive. The souvlaki feast is filling for 3! It has a combo of chicken and lamb skewers with pita bread and fries to eat it with. Even after grabbing the to go dish and eating this in the hotel room, it held up pretty well. The halloumi pita was tasty and saucy.

Yelp
Get ready to embark on a Greek culinary adventure at GRECO, the Greek salad and wraps joint that deserves a perfect score. Think of it as a Greek twist on Chipotle, but with its own unique charm. This place decently sized and packs a punch with its lively atmosphere and delightful offerings. What sets GRECO apart is the delightful combination of a fast casual serving area, a Greek mini market, and a Greek bakery all under one roof. It's like stepping into a mini slice of Greece right in the heart of town. You can indulge in Greek goodies beyond the realm of food, adding an extra touch of authenticity to the experience. It's a pleasant surprise that elevates the overall vibe. The ambiance feels upscale yet approachable, making it a delightful spot to savor your Greek feast. Now, let's dive into the star of the show-- the food! Prepare your taste buds for a flavor-packed journey. The skewers steal the spotlight, each bite bursting with the irresistible combination of herbs and spices that will leave you craving more. And let's not forget the pita bread, which is a treat on its own with its mouthwatering flavors. Pair it with their tantalizing tahini sauce, and you have a match made in Greek food heaven. In conclusion, GRECO brings a refreshing twist to the fast casual scene with its Greek-inspired offerings. From the delightful combination of the fast casual area, mini market, and bakery to the captivating flavors of the skewers, pita bread, and tahini sauce, GRECO has earned its five-star rating in my book. So gather your appetite, head over to GRECO, and treat yourself to a taste of Greece that will transport you to the sunny Mediterranean.

Yelp
Another visit to Greco and it was even better! I got the souvlaki plate with tzatziki and we ordered the dip trio and classic loukoumades share. This is our go to spot when we are in town for work!

Michelle M.

Yelp
I love Greek food and I love lamb gyros. I'm so sad to say this is, by far, the worst gyro I have ever had. The pita was "ok", the veggies were fine and fresh but the lamb was TERRIBLE! It was so dry and tasteless that even tzatziki sauce and spicy feta didn't mask the burnt taste of the meat. I now have very dry meat stuck between my teeth and will be frantically flossing to get this junk out of my mouth. So very, very disappointed.

maria t.

Yelp
One of the best Greek pitas you can find in the US. We tried other locations of Greco as well but this one was our favourite. We loved everything we tried and we will definitely return when we are in Boston. We liked the collection of Greek products they sell as well.

Payal M.

Yelp
No frills eatery offering soulful Greek food. Clean, quick, and tasty is everything you want from a weekday meal joint and this place is just that. Went here with office colleagues and we ordered the souvlaki feast with homemade iced tea. The souvlaki platter was delicious and authentic Greek! Portion size was more than sufficient for our group of 4. The servers were friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. The place is large enough so as to not get crowded even during lunch hour.

Sarah G.

Yelp
This was disappointing. I had the Cretan with chicken. The chicken was dark meat, and had a strange flavor. The dressing was too salty, and it was a little weird with the sun dried tomatoes. I took a couple bites and lost my appetite.

Allie S.

Yelp
Great place for an affordable quick lunch in the Seaport. I had the souvlaki with fries. The pork skewers are definitely much more flavorful than the chicken skewers. Wish I had room for the donuts but I'll leave them for next time!

Melanie D.

Yelp
This fast casual spot is in a great location in the seaport but results were mixed on my first visit. The lamb plate was very dry although you do get a lot of lamb for your money. The rice was really good and I liked the addition of sliced tomato. I was disappointed in the garlic sauce which was bland. The gyro was a bit better especially with the tzatziki which was the better sauce choice. I appreciate the quick service but it was an average experience.

Jillian C.

Yelp
Amazing place to get some great tasting Greek food with even some unique options. Can't say enough about their spinach and feta spring rolls...absolutely to die for! You're signing up for lots of flavor with any dish you choose from Greco! Can't wait to try more from the menu!

Eric B.

Yelp
Amazing. Had the build your own chicken salad and every single component was so flavorful and lovely. One of the most delicious meals I've had lately - even in comparison to some higher end restaurants around the city. Can't wait to go back.

Keely S.

Yelp
Service was great. The woman who served us was so kind and very helpful. When we were checking out she didn't like the way she wrapped my pita and she redid it for me (I didn't even ask or notice) and I just thought that was very kind. The food was delicious and I feel healthy/good after eating it. The atmosphere was so clean. It was a vibe and lots of tables and space. I felt very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Regis H.

Yelp
We had the Mixed Grill platter and it was great. Was worried it wouldn't be enough for three dudes and it was perfect. Very tasty. We sat outside and the server came out to bring everything over once ready.

Andrea L.

Yelp
Fast casual greek place with friendly employees! I ordered online and then picked it up when ready. I got the chicken plate and a side of the fried zucchini. Flavors were great, especially the tzatziki that came with the zucchini but whoever prepped the food was extremely heavy handed with the salt, especially on top of the chips and in the slaw that came with the plate.

Mel B.

Yelp
Can't believe this is my first time eating here! I enjoyed every bit. Immediately greeted by friendly faces with amazing service. Cappuccino was deliciously smooth. The lamb perfectly charred with crispy fries. 10/10 recommend.

Katie B.

Yelp
I'm so bummed that they got rid of the Greco bowl. I can't get a vegan bowl with the beans and slaw sides at the same price as before. I have to order these separately at $3.50 each in addition to the cost of a bowl.

J Y.

Yelp
Ordered the chicken plate and horiatiki salad bowl. Good flavor and good portions. Plenty of seating and water station. Solid Greek food at a reasonable price. Friendly and fast service.

Clara M.

Yelp
Greco was a great surprise I found a few years ago in Newbury Street, so I was very excited to come here over the weekend and discover a new location. We came on a Saturday night, and it was surprisingly empty, which was honestly refreshing on a busy night in Seaport. It was clean, and quick to order. I got the chicken pita wrap, something I hadn't tried before! Although a little hard and messy to eat, it was absolutely delicious. The flavors and textures melded perfectly to make a delicious wrap. Although they have expanded, the quality has definitely not gone down. Once again, a perfect spot to get a quick lunch or dinner without being hounded by crowds. Excited to come back.

Jesan A.

Yelp
I'm on a mission to find my gyro spot in Boston. The short and sweet of this review is that this place has good lamb (especially when it comes to the lamb chops), but I wouldn't bother with any other meats. I ordered via UberEats, so the food did arrive a little later than immediately fresh, for context, but my review will account for that. I've been to the Back Bay location before, but it was not that great to be honest, so I figured that I would give the Seaport location a try! (An aside, it was a bit annoying when I saw that UberEats the menu prices, so be wary). My food comprised of the Lamb Chops platter, the Lamb Gyro, and the Chicken Gyro. I also requested hot sauce which the staff gladly delivered on. Probably the best dish at Greco was the lamb chops without a doubt. I received 3 Lamb Chops, Horiatiki Salad, and Greco Fries (no Pita bread unlike what's written on their website which I just noticed). Despite it being delivery and around 35-40 minutes after ordering, the lamb chops were still soft and had a good flavor. I have had one too many lamb chops before which arrive charred and dry immediately from the kitchen so this was a welcome surprise. The fries were flavorful and I enjoyed the salad. When it came to the gyros, I was not impressed with the chicken (made of Chicken gyro, onion, tomato, honey mustard) side note: I wish there was some garlic sauce instead. I did opt out of fries because I just didn't was a bite of loaded carbs on top of my gyro. I wish there was a little more salad, given that I opted out of fries. The chicken meat was okay, nothing great but it did the job. The lamb meat was okay too, a little better than the chicken, but nowhere near as good as the lamb chops. (check out the pictures for further reference). I'd recommend for a good, casual bite when you're in Seaport.

Paul P.

Yelp
The neighborhood is bustling with traffic, both foot and vehicle, and it was lunchtime so there was a line but it moved briskly. I took a chicken filled gyro that was generous and flavorful. They tucked a few fries into the sandwich. It's all self service and great for people watching. I suspect most of the foot traffic was local workers, stopping in for a lunch to carry out. The restroom is accessible, clean and well stocked. I'd go again if I happened to be in the area.I can't offer anything on the counter service because I didn't do that part.

Jad A.

Yelp
So this place a beautifully set up. They have a nice market with all greek stuff. The staff is very friendly. Their food is good. The honey mustard sauce that came with the chicken pita was a big big miss. It just does not blend super well with the pita sandwich, and needs something more garlicky if it were to be more authentic. But, if you are looking for a new flavor why not. The meat was well cooked too. The other varieties on the menu seemed interesting but didn't get the chance to try them. Finally we did have the Greek donuts and they were a nice way to end the meal.

Wern O.

Yelp
TLDR: another delicious Greco location This is the 3rd Greco location I've eaten at and it's just as delicious as the other 2. Great fast casual spot!

Kelly C.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place but my dining companion and I both thought the food was salty. She had a make your own salad and I had a speciality bowl with rice pilaf . We both experienced stomach aches after so something was a bit off.

Abha A.

Yelp
Yummy salad but was definitely taken aback by the large wedges/pieces of cucumber, tomato and cheese with a side of warm pita slices.

Arthur D.

Yelp
Normally love going here whenever I'm in the area...went today and the pork gyro meat was horrible...something akin to warm beef jerky. Still giving 2 stars because the loukimades were delicious. Maybe Sundays are not the best day to visit, but next to me I'm in area I'll prob just stick to desert.

Kate S.

Yelp
Finally got the loukades from Greco. It smelled really good here. Can't wait to go soon again and get the food next time. The donhts were good and soft. I am more excited to try the food.

R. S.

Yelp
My first time here and I wish they had one of these where I live! The food was incredibly fresh, cucumber cool and fresh, tzatziki sauce and olives so tasty and they drizzled my dish (Horiatiki salad) with Greek honey, a combination I would never have considered but like woah so good. Friendly service, nice and clean. Thank you!

Farah A.

Yelp
GREEK food done right!!! Found this place on @yelp and decided to check it out!! LOVED IT The food is absolutely amazing!! You won't find hummus here, instead you have better options of homemade sauces like Tzatziki, pepper paprika, lemon yogurt etc. Definitely try the mixed grill platter, lamb chops plate, chicken, and lamb gyro. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, it's a must must try. The service is quick and the food is reasonably priced, more bang for your buck. Cute greek joint serving excellent food. Highly recommend!! Go check it out, it's by Pier 4 in the South Boston area.

Christine C.

Yelp
$28 fir a "bowl" which consisted of over dried inedible chicken tomatoes and soggy fries It was gross the pita bread tasted like it was microwaved.. nobody ate anything. It's like the Burger King of Greek food.

Bacteria J.

Yelp
Tasty food, good vegetarian and vegan options. Open airy atmosphere, fast casual. Little Mediterranean market with Greek cookies!

Alicia N.

Yelp
Bright, lively, and energetic ambiance. I had the pork gyro plate and it was delicious. The pork was the right mix of tasty and juicy and I highly recommend the zucchini chips. The staff were delightful to communicate with. They asked how my day was, we struck up a conversation, and they were really patient with me when I took a long time to decide my order. It made me feel at home in the restaurant. I will be back!

Jenny T.

Yelp
Food: Hands down one of my favorite places in town. EVERYTHING is so good. These Spinach & Feta Spring Rolls served w/ Lemon Yogurt were DELICIOUS, I usually get a bowl. I've never tried anything which has disappointed me, all of their meats are good, chicken, lamb, even their vegetarian/veggie options (yep, I've tried them all). Their BREAD is one of their highlights too, omg hands down best pita in the world. I also love their side of beans & chickpeas. Their donuts or whatever (loukmades) are also INCREDIBLE, you can easily finish the whole thing - they are a lot tho, very sweet and all but definitely a treat. Food is alsoo fast like Chipotle style so you won't be hangry lol. Location: Seaport is a fun area. I used to intern at the building which GreCo was in, and you can get a bowl then eat it by the water or whatever because the views are stunning. Price: It's not cheap though. Def once in a while or a special treat.

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about the staff that works at this Greco. As my favorite work lunch spot, I can say I am a frequent flyer. For a fast casual restaurant, the food is much higher quality. Always tastes fresh and delicious. You cannot be disappointed!

Madow N.

Yelp
The Santorini salad with chicken was good. As were the lamb chops. Big portion size on the salad. Service was friendly. The space is nice and clean. If you're visiting the ICA, it's the closest restaurant and worth a stop for a quick meal.

Gabriel F.

Yelp
Great Greek food. Stopped in while walking around the Seaport area with my wife. We each had lamb gyros and loukoumades for dessert. The gyros were delicious and overflowing. The loukoumades serving was huge and they were delicious as well.

Alan C.

Yelp
Excellent excellent excellent ! Here for a work trip and staying at a hotel near the convention center. Wanted to get outta the hotel and grab a big lunch that wasn't a Sammie and this place popped up. Just a 10 minute walk and a short line and a fantastic platter of meats and salads was handed to me for $40 including tax ! Enough to easily feed 2-4 people. We got the mixed grill platter and it was hot and fresh and yummy. So good I returned today to repeat this ritual before heading outta town. Most salads and wraps are $10-14 and well worth it. Clean, roomy, nice staff and a solid local offering ! Thank me later

Shrooti T.

Yelp
Average lunch place with salads and wraps. Service is quick. Ambience is ok, it's mainly for pickup, but offer some outside seating. I don't like the fact that it's a salad place but the protein is all fried, I wish they had baked or grilled options which are healthy. Portion is okay, not great for the price. Taste is good.

Enya L.

Yelp
Greco is a convenient and delicious casual Greek place! I love their gyro. The meat is juicy and tender and the flavor is always on point. If you go with a few people, I definitely recommend the mixed plate. Everything was really good and it filled us up. The two must haves are the zucchini chips and the Loukoumades!! The donuts are amazing pillows of doughy goodness!! We've tried all the flavors but our favorite is the classic with honey and walnuts.
