Don't skip this small bookstore packed full of good reads. I loved looking at the stickers, spread of nonfiction books, and the cookbook section. Quaint level: 3/5

Google
Cute little bookstore. They only have a few shelves worth of books but they manage to pack a lot of variety in that selection genre wise.

Google
What an amazing local bookstore in Fells Point. They have an in-house dog! Great selection, wonderful vibe, and a crowded place on Saturdays. Support your local booksellers and don't miss this neighborhood gem.

Google
Just off the main street in Fells Point is a bookstore with one medium-sized room filled with all types of books from novels to cookbooks to coffee table books. I was impressed with the selection of cookbooks in the way back.

Lauren Johnson

Google
This is my new favorite bookstore. They have all the books I love and my favorite authors so it's easy for me to choose my next read ♥️.

Anne Lipinski

Google
Fun and creative shop that was so nice to browse around. My kiddos found 2 great books and a fun Halloween puzzle for the family. Stop by and show them some love!

Molly Walker

Google
Great selection of books. Friendly staff. Walkable location. Nice store dog. Kid friendly.

Google
Best neighborhood bookstore anyone could ask for. Remember- if your book is not on the shelf, they will order it for you; thus, supporting local business and decreasing reliance on Amazon, etc. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and provides great recommendations on books.

Yelp
The original greedy reads location is here in fells point! This location is super tiny, but packed to the brim with really great literary books and they have a children's corner. With book popularity, I've noticed as of late a few books are not in stock but they can ALWAYS order them for you. They do offer a membership program, but otherwise greedy reads is not known to do any sales or discounts, so expect to pay regular book prices! The owner Julia is really friendly and Santiago, the general manager is such a gem. You can always walk in and talk to them about books. Their event last weekend is always such a great hit. Also don't sleep on their cruise events where you do a book swap and sunset around the harbor. It's such a fun event. This location can get hot because the door usually stays open as it looks like a townhome.

Yelp
This is a small, independent bookstore located in the heart of Fells Point. Parking is difficult close by, I'd recommend parking several blocks away toward Patterson Park and walking over if you can't find nearby. Though they do have a small selection as a result of the size of their shop, they carry lovely limited edition covers of books as well as stickers, tote bags, and a range of books from fiction to nonfiction. I did see more ""indie"" books here as well as books that are trending on reading websites / Goodreads. I am told they can order a book for you if they don't have it in stock which is nice as I prefer horror and didn't see a lot of books regarding that.

Yelp
Really cute store with diverse offerings, but the store worker wasn't super helpful and the ratio of genre availability isn't great. Most books inside were published within the last few years. That's not a bad thing per se, but something that stuck out to me.

Yelp
This bookshop is adorable, and filled floor to ceiling with books of various genres of various prices, as well as some toys and merch. I stopped in recently just to browse and ended up leaving with three books and some stickers! I bought two sci-fi books and a really cool cocktail recipe book. The employee who helped me out was super friendly and helpful, and I left with everything I needed! He also said one of the books I bought was probably his top of the year, and after reading it, it's my top book so far!

Yelp
Though tiny, it is mighty. Greedy Reads is packed with the trendiest novels--if it has been noted on Instagram, TikTok or Goodreads, they will have it. If they don't have it, they will order it for you! The store is vibrant with welcoming bright light from numerous windows displays. They use books as their wall art and they even have personal notes from staff members notating their favorite books, specific quotes to look for when reading and other quirky facts. Tips: Each staff member is overly attractive AND they read. I said what I said (be prepared to swoon). Walking distance from Fell's Point's Main Street/Broadway Market/Cultivated Plant Store (yes, a full day of your bank account giving you the eye).

Yelp
Cute little corner bookstore in Fells Point! I've passed by this store so many times but hadn't stopped in yet until today. A motivator was to use the Women Run Baltimore Yelp check-in offer to get 50% off a paperback book before the deal ended. The store associate there was friendly and helpful with my questions. It's a packed little store but has a really good selection. I'll def be back!

Yelp
Super cute book store. Ver friendly staff. Very good selection of books, ranging from infant to teen to the classics and book of today. I think the prices are about the same as other bookstores. I loved the extra touch of the handwritten notecards from employees giving their reading recommendations and summaries!

Yelp
I freaking love greedy reads. I live in Ellicott City now, and I've been making an effort to go out of my way to support this shop. If they don't have a book in stock, they can order it and have it shipped directly to your home. But they have an amazing selection. They have also introduced me to some great reads. Sign up for their newsletter for recommendations and events. But if you wanna fall in love, just wander in one day and graze around. P.S. they have hotdog bookmarks right now

Yelp
Bought a book here for the first time today and had a great experience. Needed something specific for my book club, and saw online that they had the title in stock at the store. Their online catalog/search function was very easy to use, but before walking over I called just to make sure the book was still in stock. The staff person confirmed there was one copy (very friendly customer service) and I let them know I was on the way. I walked to the entrance and saw that they had some outdoor ventilation inside the store from the front door (COVID-friendly), which I appreciated. The store itself is small and cozy, and absolutely stuffed with books! While I didn't have time to peruse all of their selection, I did see that they had a main display with the works of many Black authors that I'd like to go back and dig into more. I walked around some of the display tables to see if I could identify the book I was looking for, but ultimately went to the (masked ) staff person by the register to inquire. They pulled the book out from behind the register-- I'm guessing they set it aside for me which I considered very thoughtful since there was only one copy and I needed it on short notice. They rung me up quickly and told me they really hoped I enjoyed the book-- and this person had a real warmth about them that made me feel like they really meant it, so I left the store with nothing but good vibes from the super friendly interaction. Later when I got home I saw that they had stuck a very cute branded bookmark and vinyl sticker inside the cover for me. The artwork on the bookmark is very sweet and a reminder of this friendly local shop, and the sticker is thick and good quality, perfect for the collection I have on my water bottle. I'll definitely be checking this store for the next book I need for my book club before going anywhere else!

Yelp
Cute shop, with a friendly and helpful staff. A nice cross section of genres and the store dog is a cutie! I particularly liked how LGBTQ-friendly they are.

Yelp
Such an amazing bookstore. Every time I go to either Greedy Reads location I feel instantly happy. They're both such cute stores and the booksellers are SO FRIENDLY! You can always ask for a recommendation or can shop their curated book bags (which I LOVE). They also have a great selection of books, from new releases to children's books to books about Baltimore and everything in between. I have especially enjoyed taking part in their various book clubs - there's something for every kind of reader - fiction, translated, celebrity, romance..... And I love the events they have with other local businesses like the water taxi, Sacre Sucre, and B.Willow. I've found myself connecting with other book-lovers around Baltimore and reading books I wouldn't normally pick for myself, which has been wonderful! Plus I love that it's a woman-owned store AND Audie the dog helps out around the store sometimes :) I would highly recommend doing your book shopping at Greedy Reads!

Yelp
Amazing kids section! It was small but well curated. My son found a couple of books and a game he loves. Also a great selection of fiction and non-fiction for adults. We stopped into this store while in Baltimore for a long weekend and will add as a "must do" whenever we are in town.

Yelp
If you ever read Inventing Human Rights by Lynn Hunt you will learn that the novel was the vehicle for transforming human consciousness and creating the concept of human rights. And there is no place where one feels more human than Greedy Reads. Street parking can be exceedingly difficult in this neighborhood. Don't let that stop you, however. If you love books, this shop is the pot of gold at the end of the proverbial rainbow. The store is located at the corner and is rather unassuming. It is brimming with books both fiction and nonfiction. These are not merely indistinguishable mainstream tomes you find in an airport or shopping mall. These are books that have been carefully selected and are not necessarily featured in the New York Times but are worthy nonetheless. Throughout you will find index cards giving personal recommendations on various titles. The political writings featured are decisively liberal in orientation but thoughtful. They also have a large swath dedicated to culture. The children's book corner likewise isn't stocked with treacle but comprised of conscientious stories that empower youngsters. Of course, the service is outstanding and there is a docile dog wandering the premises too. Greedy Reads is a special place.

Yelp
It's safe to say I'm more obsessed with the book store than the actual books. I I finally walk in because the name was pretty cool but when you walk in it's more than that. Very intimate and book recommendation from local readers are everywhere. This place felt like home. Cute chair near the window you can sit and read and a nice sitting area by children books. Outside of books they have great merchandise for sale. The staff is helpful and friendly. Check it out for cool reads and a dope atmosphere

Yelp
Very charming little bookstore in the heart of Fells Point. While it's definitely on the smaller side, it's got a great selection of books. Definitely very curated for us book lovers! If you're nearby in Fells Point, check it out and support an independent bookstore!

Yelp
It's great! Great location nice and helpful workers and they have so many books, book recommendations. Also the shop is super cute!

Yelp
When I was in on a weekend day the place was packed! Despite being a small store, there was a decent range of books, even for kids. The number of cookbooks was impressive. Lots of greeting cards and small gifts, but nothing local, which was actually something I was specifically looking for. That was the only negative. Friendly, quiet help. Love your local bookstore! I'll be back!

Yelp
Such a cute, comfy, local spot! I was looking for a specific book that they unfortunately didn't have, but store associate was so helpful and recommended another book by the same author that I can't wait to read!

Yelp
This bookstore is amazing!!!!love the vibe and their book recommendations. Staff here are soooo nice. Really enjoy to have this cute bookstore in town! (if you buy their tote bag and next time if you go to the bookstore with the tote bag and purchase a book, gonna be 5% off)

Yelp
Pretty neat place. Small but pretty organized. Was strolling thru and just decided to stop in. Great idea. I didn't make a purchase but, I would surely return to make a purchase in the future.

Yelp
All ways the best for those hard to find ones - great to have a neighborhood go-to spot! Go there!

Yelp
I could get lost in greedy reads every sunday, and I do. They have everything and can order you anything they don't! We love them

Yelp
Is the helping phriendly book here? Maybe you'll find that sci fi solders book for the little guy. Take a look around. This little bookstore is exactly how it's supposed to be. There aren't many bookstores left these days. So bypass the online BS and pop in. You might find what you're looking for right here.

Yelp
This shop is an absolute dream for any book lover. I'm in Baltimore for two weeks for work and finished my reading material nearly immediately upon arrival. I looked on Yelp and found this was not far from my location and made the trek. My first mistake however was realizing that due to Covid restrictions you need an appointment to browse. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! They ask a couple questions and you pick a time slot, easy peasy. Once at my appointment, I checked in at the door, sanitized up, and began my browsing. They offer their help but if you choose to just browse they leave you on your own, very sweet staff. Immediately I noticed their wide selection throughout their quaint and humble store. What stood out to me was their unique choices to display instead of they typical best sellers. I left with books I would have never found at another store. Just finished the first of the two I purchased yesterday and am looking forward to returning for another visit soon. Thanks again!

Yelp
This book store is a culture hub! It's the bookstore for the socially aware hipster, the nerdy activist, and the parents who're trying to raise their children to be independent thinkers/gender neutral. It's got such a cool vibe, if there was seating, I'd stay and read there all day. It's impossible to go in there and not make a purchase.

Yelp
Excellent selection of great reads in this well-laid out store on Aliceanna. The staff person was exceptionally helpful and attentive to customer needs. I hope to revisit soon and explore the offerings in more depth.

Yelp
A cute bookstore that was super organized, and had many great options! I loved the "I'm greedy about this book because...." post it's on the shelves. I found a great book and am excited to read it and come back for my next book! Happy to support this awesome small business in Baltimore.

Drew H.

Yelp
Great addition to Baltimore! Perfect space for browsing titles. Skip Amazon and try this bookstore out. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I love this bookstore. It had every book I was looking for, and the owner was so nice and gave me great recommendations based on the books I was buying.

Yelp
My husband and I just stopped in and what an awesome addition to the area! A great, diverse selection of books and the owner (and her sweet dog) was so welcoming. Their kids book section is pretty sweet, it has new releases as well as classics. They have some adorable stationary and totes. I probably spent more money than I should have... but it's supporting a local business, right? We're all looking forward to returning!

Rock H.

Yelp
Ordered some books for pick up. The communication from the shop is very personal and efficient. I've also visited the shop before the shutdown and had nothing but a great experience.

Lisa S.

Yelp
Best book store in Baltimore!!! Wonderfully curated. Everything I want to read Greedy Reads has on the shelf, and perhaps more importantly, I am always introduced to books outside my typical interests that I often end up enjoying more than what I went there to buy. Lastly, and worth putting a fine point on, there is great diversity among the authors represented. I am often the only woman of color in Greedy Reads when I go, but there are so many books by women and people of color that I am always cheered and put at ease.

Deb P.

Yelp
Friendly owner and great variety of books with recommendations. A most enjoyable place.

Sandra B.

Yelp
Best bookstore -- a really lovely and welcoming space full of hand-picked titles. I love this store!! The owner clearly has an amazing eye... and really cares about this place. The shelves are full of the latest novels, issue books, art books, kids books, plus timeless classics. All carefully chosen and arrayed. Plus stained glass windows, glass storefront, white-washed walls and floors, a cozy rug for kids and an arm chair tucked for maximum browsing comfort... I loved spending time here and getting advice from somebody who really loves books about what I should read next. Bought a stack and I'll be back.

Carol K.

Yelp
If you love a cozy, well-curated, independent bookstore with a brilliant balance of new and timeless fiction and nonfiction this is the place! There is a good section for younger readers, too. Remarkable for how many up-to-the minute titles are in stock for a smaller store. I found many novels and social justice titles I've been looking for. What a treasure for Baltimore!
