Google
The best Greek takeout by far!! I always get the grilled chicken salad and the dressing is to die for! Just tried the Greek potatoes and they are unreal. Can’t recommend enough. Three stars for service and atmosphere as I have only gotten takeout here.

Google
I rarely leave negative reviews, but the customer service here was absolutely horrible. When I walked in, there was no one else in line, yet the lady at the register and the cook both seemed visibly annoyed that I was even placing an order. When I asked a simple question about the different plates and how they differed, they acted like I was a burden and responded with attitude. As paying customers, we deserve basic respect—especially when we're just trying to understand the menu before spending our money. There’s no excuse for this kind of rude and unprofessional behavior. I won’t be returning, and I hope the management takes this as a sign to train their staff on how to treat customers properly.

Google
It pains me to write this. The food here is delicious. I’ve been coming since I moved to my place nearly 10 years ago. This review is about truly horrible customer service. And it’s their right to offer horrible service, but I can never go again if this is how they treat people. Last week my boyfriend and I ordered our dinner for pickup. We decided to take our two dogs for a walk before picking up. I left my phone at home. The walk got away from us. Thirty minutes turned into 45…which didn’t seem like a big deal since it’s our food that was impacted and we weren’t worried about it. We walked over to pick it up and saw that the restaurant closed about 45 minutes early. I figured, an emergency must have happened, no worries. I returned home (I live around the corner). I had three missed calls telling me they were going to wait a few more minutes for me and then close up. I’m not mad that they closed early. The reason is none of my business and I’m understanding. What’s upsetting is, when we called they had zero understanding for us. They were immediately defensive with my boyfriend. They said they have a “policy” to only allow 30 minutes for someone to pick up their food. I’ve looked, I’ve seen this posted exactly nowhere. They did acknowledge closing nearly an hour early and said, “we took pictures.” I’m still not sure what this means. I wasn’t asking for my money back, I just wanted to pick up the same order a different day. My family owns two small restaurants in the city. I’m familiar with the business model. I’m sad that a business that I’d come to love and depend on was so dismissive and disinvested in their repeat customer. There are other solid restaurants close by that won’t dismiss you or fail to acknowledge the customer experience.

Google
We had a great time at this little Greek restaurant! The staff were very helpful and friendly! The food was fresh and light as Greek food should be. I highly recommend the Greek fries! I don't know how I will ever eat normal fries again.

Antonio Dominnguez

Google
The food was better than some places but the service is horrible ..the cook gave attitude when I asked questions about there menu being I’ve never been here before and it just seemed like I couldn’t ask any thing and when asked for key to bathroom cook flat out told me we lost it idk what to tell you but the cashier was polite enough to look at least …cashier was awesome ..the grumpy old cook in the back needs a vacation …in the end …I would just skip this spot and go somewhere where they appreciate there customers

Google
Ill save you the time of scrolling down to see the bad reviews; they are nothing but idiotic complaints about not getting napkins, not taking credit cards (they do) AND blaming the restaurant for not putting more salt on the sidewalk. Yup, someone actually left a review solely complaining about that and wasn’t an actual customer. Wow, whatever happened to commenting on the food? Well, I was there tonight for the first time and it was stellar. No, its not a sit-down-be-waited on establishment but one of the few remaining neighborhood joints that just served good food. These Millens are so damn spoiled by free WiFi and upcylced shiplap decor that they have no idea what good food is. Angelo, the cool and friendly owner, took care of us and our food came out quick, generous and delicious. Once upon a time, Chicago was dotted with places like this so I appreciate that it’s still around. The souvlaki was tender and juicy with a nice char. It was flavorful, not salty and the portion was big (two thick skewers). My gyros was the same, not dry as some fast food joints make it from over grilling the slices. It came with a fresh Greek side salad with juicy tomato slices, romaine, Greek olives, thin onion and feta. My fries were a thicker variety than say McDonalds and were crisp and delicious. I also ordered a side of saganaki, the infamous “flaming cheese” that is the showcase of almost every Greek restaurant, except that it was grilled; never mind that it wasn’t flaming, thats just entertainment and it tasted the same as it’s incendiary counterpart, with a squeeze of fresh lemon. I was concerned that the food may not be as fresh because it was less than an hour before closing. I was completely wrong. Sumptuous Greek food fast. Ill be back. Again and again and again...

Google
The food was acceptable, nothing special. However, the service was very disappointing. One of the staff members was rude, loud, and extremely unprofessional. It made the whole experience uncomfortable and unpleasant. I wouldn’t return or recommend it unless they improve their customer service.

Google
I have gone here for years and it's always been so good. I ordered a salad delivered today and got a bed of shredded lettuce and 4 tiny olives. I don't know if they had ran out of real salad but it looked nothing like it has in the past or anywhere near the picture. And the gyros were almost translucent they were cut so thin. Too many good places around here for greek to go back. Used to be great.

Yelp
We were working Open House Chicago last Saturday (October 19th) and my wife picked this place out to have lunch at. We walked in around 12:30 on a Saturday and the place was pretty quiet. After a minute to review the menu, we both went with the Gyro Sandwich combo, which came with fries and a fountain drink. We noticed the gyro machines in the back area (two of them) loaded with delicious Gyro meat, which sealed the deal! The sandwiches were FULL with gyro meat. I mean so full, you couldn't close the sandwich to eat it. They provided a fork with each gyro and we had to eat some gyro meat off the sides and middle. The fries were outstanding. Nice, soo hot, and well-salted. Taste them before you add ANY salt. The gyros were tasty. The gyro meat was very thinly sliced, I like it better when it's not sliced so thin as it dries out slower if it is thick sliced. It still tasted good. They have one bathroom (to the left of the counter, go back and you'll find it) and it was clean and smelled good. On the inside, you have massive menu boards with pricing, and what I call the "obligatory" mural on the wall depicting the scenery of Greece. What's not to like?

Yelp
When I was visiting Chicago, I was in the mood for Greek food for dinner. I found this place via Yelp. I ended up getting the gyro plate ($15.49) which was really good and very filling. Also got a Mexican Coke ($2.97). I would def recommend the Greek Corner if you're in the mood for Greek food. * Fair prices * Outdoor dining available * Street parking

Yelp
Heard lots of good things about this place but was still unsure about it. It's a pretty crummy looking place from the outside. Greek Corner is better than it looks. One thing about is that it's not just another one of those greasy places for gyros and meats. There's actually a few healthier items such as veggie burgers and stuff. After giving this place a chance, we were glad we did it. It's located close to Black Dog Gelato so we see this place a lot. This was the first time eating here though. It's not big but has a few tables inside. Pretty good prices for the portions. It's about $13 for a combo. The #7 Combo is a Black Bean Burger with a drink and fries. Comes with a secret sauce, which I left off, but this is kind of like tzatziki it appears. She said it wasn't and it sucked though. We each got the rest of the toppings including the standard lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. Burgers were cooked pretty good. There's no need to cook bean based burgers long and these were almost perfect. Good except for the nasty sauce they put on everything. It should be left off for sure. There's plenty of good options for those looking for something greasy, and there's a couple burgers for vegetarians.

Yelp
OK YUM. Say hello to my new staple. This is a tiny little place on the corner of Damen that I probably wouldn't even have tried if I didn't pass it every day going home from work and saw it on Chicago foodies page. But it was amazing! I got a takeout deal from GrubHub so it was $17 for all of this. I set my order time for 7 PM but know better and showed up around 650 and it was piping hot. I double checked all my food and when I opened the container steam came barreling out so I knew the food was fresh. I ordered the chicken souvlaki skewer plate and added a side of the chicken Gyro meat. The plate came with rice, a cucumber tomato salad, two skewers, a large pita bread, and a side of tzatziki. I also added the jalapeño tzatziki and a side of hummus. Both completely necessary! I've never seen jalapeño tzatziki before but it was amazing... But it's hot so be warned. Everything was seriously five out of five. The best pita, tzatziki, and gyro I've had in the city. The rice wasn't super impressive on its own but was the perfect vessel for the chicken. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
The food was great. Had a chicken gyro. Greek fries (they forgot to add vinaigrette or feta on them hence the loss of a star) My mom had the Grecian chicken and devoured it. My son had chucked Greek salad.

Yelp
The avgolemono is the best I've ever had!!! I'm obsessed. I also like the veggie pita!

Yelp
this place is literally so good highly recommend friendly customer service and really really good gyros

Yelp
Wow. Wish I had come here sooner!!! Can't believe this was my first time here. Reminds me of Pete's on Roosevelt in Oak Park/Berwyn! Very quick and nice staff. Got the Chicken Gyro Plate w/ rice instead of fries. Everythinggg (gyro, pita, rice, salad) was incredible!! I can't wait to try more items on the menu!

Fabian O.

Yelp
I ordered and the lady that took my order was a bit rude, there weren't any clients waiting but it could have just been a rough day. The food was very good, although they forgot my Greek fries it was still a great meal.

Yelp
I was craving a gyro for lunch and found Greek Corner on UberEats. I ordered their classic gyro sandwich and greek fries. I enjoyed the fries quite a bit. I thought the feta cheese gave them a really nice flavor. They even passed the re-heat test later on that evening since the order was so large. Admittedly I've had better gyros, but for the price you can't really go wrong if you have a craving. I didn't like how I needed to purchase extra tzatziki, was kind of hoping that would just come on the side. But in retrospect I didn't really need it, the sandwich had plenty on it. Will most likely order it again!
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered a gyro at 5:30. One wolf think good would be fresh. Absolutely not. Dried meat and stale pita on a order of gyro sandwich. One would think folks picking a bite to eat from dinner at this time would be fresh. Very much on the contrary.

Steve A.

Yelp
Great local Greek food, as expected. Fast, convenient, relatively cheap. Recommend. Nice outdoor space for dining.

Yelp
I came to this restaurant as a kid and recently returned. It's still amazing! I love the range of food items and combinations you can get. The gyro and chicken gyro are amazing and pair well with pita, salad, and fries. This is a relaxed no frills restaurant that you don't come to for fancy décor. Staff are friendly.
google avatar

Erin D.

Yelp
Solid takeout Greek food. Large quantities and good quality. Both the gyro and chicken plates were great. Both come with fries (I opted for rice instead), small salad, and large pita. We always look for spanakopita too and often times we don't order enough. This spanakopita is the size of a hot pocket! We ordered one per person and have leftovers.

Yelp
Greek Corner is a fantastic Greek restaurant that is definitely worth checking out. The first thing that stands out about this restaurant is its impressive menu, which offers a huge variety of authentic Greek dishes. Whether you're in the mood for classic gyros, souvlaki, moussaka, or something else entirely, Greek Corner has got you covered. One of the things that makes Greek Corner such a great restaurant is the quality of their food. Everything on the menu is made with fresh ingredients and prepared with care, resulting in dishes that are bursting with flavor. Their best sellers include the classic gyro wrap, loaded with tender meat, crisp veggies, and tangy tzatziki sauce. The chicken souvlaki is another must-try item, with juicy grilled chicken and a delicious blend of herbs and spices. Another thing that sets Greek Corner apart is their friendly service. The staff here are always welcoming and eager to help you find the perfect dish to suit your tastes. They take pride in their restaurant and their food, and it shows in everything they do. Overall, I highly recommend Greek Corner to anyone looking for delicious Greek food in Chicago. With a huge menu and fantastic best sellers like their classic gyro wrap and chicken souvlaki, this restaurant is a must-visit for any foodie.

Yelp
Just arrived to my home town and had a chicken gyro - absolutely delicious! Fresh pita , fresh onions , lots of moist flavorful chicken. Wish my adult children were here to taste. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This is a take-out order. I first spotted Greek Corner on Yelp from a friend's post, and I've been wanting to go because she said it's pretty amazing, and I must say it did not disappoint!! The line was long, but the personnel was able to manage it and expedite the process. That is very appreciated, as we have witnessed firsthand how they treat their consumers. We had the Gyro Special and the Patty Melt Special, both of which were excellent! The Greek Salad was very tasty, fresh, and generously portioned. Special entries are deserving of fries--they're delicious!

Chris C.

Yelp
Great place, fast service, not a bad thing on the menu. Our favorites include the chicken and the patty melt. The gyros is also, as one would think, excellent. Even the non-greek food like the patty melt and burger are good choices. The one downside is that the drive-thru is terrible.

Tom S.

Yelp
Family owned and run - this place is a local favorite to many. Fresh food and traditional recipes. get the gyros of course but dont forget the lemon soup. SO good!

Yelp
This place is really great and Greek, been going for quite some time. The gyro meat is shaved thin and consistently cut, gorgeous and generous portions. Thank you delicious Greek corner. Cash only

Ellen M.

Yelp
The food here is so delicious! Go here for fresh food you will be so happy you went. I stopped in here for a gyros and the pits was amazing. Clean place and so friendly. Thank you! I will definitely be back soon

Yelp
The man working at the counter was very nice and their Spanakopita is a generous portion and delicious! I'll have to come back to try their other food soon.

Michael B.

Yelp
The gyro sandwich came just with cheap sour cream, with maybe a touch of cucumber but it was a just a touch. It was not tzatziki sauce in any way, shape or form. No yogurt, garlic, nor herbs. But they insisted it was tzatziki. So the sandwich was unsatisfactory. The fries were very good.

Grantland D.

Yelp
This place has great gyros (especially the chicken!) and by far the best (and healthiest!) spanakopita I've tasted in Chicago! Great takeout!

Luke S.

Yelp
Place has gone down the tubes. Since the pandemic it's now under the ownership of the long-time Mexican chef there. Just because you've made the food for a long time doesn't make you a good businessman. It seems like he is overwhelmed. Quality of the food has gone down, and the place now has a disgusting smell when you walk in.

Yelp
It was my first time, I was passing through the area when I noticed the place, and I kinda like Greek food, so I decided to give it a try. It was a little space, but it was clean. Their walls are cool, and there's a painting on them that seems like an ancient Greek painting. The counter staff is pleasant and helpful. Their menu has a limited choice, so I just ordered their chicken gyros platter. I planned to take it with me, but I ended up eating it inside. After a few minutes, the food was ready. It has a wonderful generous portion and by just looking at it was really authentic. It was full of flavor and everything was delicious. Even the pita bread tastes good. I seriously finished it and felt full but satisfied. Another nice fast food in my list. I had a good time. I enjoyed the food and I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Gyro plate and the Greek Isle salad YUM. They have a cute outdoor seating area and the food comes out quick. The portions are HUGE! You pay after you are finished eating and you feel like you are apart of the family. Will definitely be making a trip back.

Yelp
The restaurant has a nice location, which is the main reason why I was able to notice it. It was my first time at the restaurant. There is a lot of street parking near it, so parking was not a problem. The restaurant is so small, but it is perfectly clean and bright. The art on their wall got my attention, which was really mesmerizing. It's like Greek art or something that made me think it was an authentic Greek restaurant. Ordering is very easy. The staff behind the counter are very nice and friendly. Their menu is basically a different option for authentic Greek food. I only ordered a gyro sandwich and the Greek fries. I also got a drink, and they have different options for any kind of drink as well. The prices of the food are very reasonable. The service was quick, and I got my order for takeout, so I basically left the restaurant after receiving my order. When I was able to eat the food, I found that the gyro sandwich had a generous portion as well as the Greek fries. The meat on the sandwich was a lot and it was delicious. It tastes fresh and delicious, and the Greek fries are no exception. I definitely like the food. I am glad I ordered it for takeout because I was not able to finish it and I was just able to finish it for dinner on that particular day. Overall, my first experience at this restaurant was good. I like the food and their service. I will definitely be back. I also recommend this authentic and delectable Greek restaurant.

Yelp
Inexpensive, top quality, and those potatoes are something from the greek gods. Literally, the only bad thing about this place is that they are closed on Sunday, because I really wanted a Grecian chicken plate today. This is possibly one of the most underrated restaurants in the area. It still has a mom and pop vibe and the food is phenomenal. All too often I crave the Grecian chicken plate. I dream about those greek potatoes, and I don't know of any budget-friendly place serving up roasted potatoes this well. The chicken is amazing, but even that comes second to those potatoes. I wish them the best of success, and I hope they stay in the area for many years to come. BYOB

Yelp
I had gone by this place dozens and dozens of times and didn't think much of it. With Covid we've been wanting to support local so decided to patronize. So glad we did. It's now one of my favorites and a go-to. The Spartan chicken wrap is fresh and the spinach pie wonderful.
google avatar

Natalie T.

Yelp
Followed a gyro hankering here and wasn't let down! I got the chicken gyro, my boyfriend got the original gyro, and we split an order of Greek fries. Portion sizes were standard for the sandwiches, and we couldn't finish the fries (pro tip: have them wrap them up for you and reheat in a frying pan on the stove later, YUM). The patio out back made this dining experience even better. Would return, especially for those sexy fries.

Derrick W.

Yelp
I use to eat here often then Covid hit. Last couple of weeks I have gone by and had my Gyro plate, Greek Salad and Greek Chicken Salad, They have so much more, yet Henrique, the cook, I take my hat off to him Spoudaious Mayeiras!! Today I have a appetite for grape leaves, hmmm! Great atmosphere. Kali Orexi!! - Derrick

Yelp
Greek Corner is not a fancy restaurant. You come here when you have a craving for gyros. It's as simple as that. The entire menu is pretty easy to process. You have lamb, chicken, beef, and vegetarian options which surround pairing them with feta, lettuce, tomato, bread and potatoes in some kind of way. I should come back for the chicken, but my loyalty to standard gyros and fries is strong when I rush any Greek restaurant. There is something about a gyros sandwich that makes me wonder why I am not eating them at least once a week. I like a side of mayo and ranch along with my tzatziki sauce, but Greek Corner does not offer them. I didn't get too worked up, but I needed an extra tzatziki for the fries. I'm not a fan of the fact that they charge for it either. The pita bread is the perfect texture: crispy on the outside, with a chewy center. The bread isn't dry and that speaks volumes when I'm missing my extra sauces. My friend had the Olympic Gyros, and I almost wish I had ordered them. It was basically the same thing I got, but everything was tossed together and served like an amped-up salad. She demolished it in no time flat. Both of us didn't really speak much while we dined. There was a 9pm closing time to consider, but we had also been drinking. Drunk munchies had taken hold of our bodies and it wasn't going away until our bellies were full. I was curious and drunk hungry, so I ordered a side of avgolemono soup. Try pronouncing that when you've been drinking. I wasn't a fan. Too much lemon zest, and the starchy flavor of the rice seemed to overpower any indication that this soup was made with chicken broth. I must say there are a few Greek-owned/operated 24-hour diners that make this soup better. I would definitely rinse the rice before cooking it, and then I would use mostly chicken broth to cook the rice and boost chicken flavor. The staff was very polite and they were accommodating to our hunger despite our late arrival. I tried to make up for it by leaving a tip. This restaurant is sparkling clean and that shows me management runs a tight ship. I can't wait to come back and try the pizza! It looks delicious. If you're in the neighborhood, don't be shy. Stop in and pick up some solid Greek food.

Yelp
Love this place. So authentic I think the cook still has his ticket from the boat he hopped off. Their gyros are second to none and I seriously wish I could eat one everyday. It's my go to when I am super lazy and don't feel like making food; it is never a disappointing meal. Howevaaaa, this place is the Greek version of Chick-fil-a. Greek Corner owner, if you are reading this, PLEASE OPEN THE RESTAURANT ON SUNDAY. If you want to have a day off, close shop on Monday. I don't want a gyro on Monday. Monday is the day I reflect on my weekend and give myself false hope that I won't duplicate the things I did to my body the past two days. And when Sunday comes back around, I don't want, I NEED a gyro, lone and behold you guys aren't open. Your Sunday closes are doing me dirty Greek Corner, and I need you to be open when I need you most.

Yelp
I moved in right across the street from this place around a month ago. Since moving to the neighborhood, I've been 5 times, my roommate has been three times, and my father has been once. The food is solid, but the prices are outstanding, making the overall value proposition great. It's like walking back in time when you enter, with a serious 70s vibe shining through. Everyone is nice and they take care of you quickly. Additionally, there's a great outdoor area if you want to enjoy this awesome weather we've been having recently. Nothing negative to say- this place is awesome and I'm pumped to have it across the street from me.

Yelp
This is a pretty solid spot! I went with the gyro plate and was impressed by the size of the serving. The sad was very fresh and the Greek fries I got for a side were excellent. The gyro meat was very well seasoned but a bit on the dry side. Overall, a really solid spot I'd definitely come back again when in the mood for some quick Greek food!

Yelp
I had been anticipating going to this restaurant for months especially since it was a local, family owned Greek restaurant. With Greek food being my favorite cuisine, I was so excited and finally found the perfect time to try it out! Unfortunately I went in with high hopes and left with a feeling of disgust & no appetite. Let's just start out with the good because I will always give credit where credit is due: the horiatiki salad was delicious. Substantial amount of tomatoes (my favorite food) plus a hefty amount of cucumbers and onions! Dressing was delicious and had just the right amount on it. Portion size was also good too! Now that we got the good out of the way, let's dive head first into why this restaurant got a measly 1 star from me. As I was midway through my subpar chicken gyros, I came across a literal bug in my sandwich. It was big and it was thoroughly enjoying my sandwich (probably a lot more than I was). When I brought my food up to the counter and politely told them there was a bug in my sandwich I asked for my money back. To my surprise, I was only given the money back from the sandwich: not the rest of the meal that I didn't finish because my appetite was shot. If they actually cared about customer service, they would have refunded me my entire meal and they would have shown a bit more empathy instead of expressing the most bare minimum, lack-luster apology. Needless to say, I will NOT be going back to Greek Corner. I hope they can take their sanitation a bit more seriously, work on their customer service game, and add some more flavor into their chicken gyros! Shame on them!
google avatar

Zach F.

Yelp
Food is inconsistent. Sometimes grea.t. Sometimes the gyros are overcooked and dry. There are always a handful of old Greeks hanging out in there when I have been, and sometimes it is like pulling teeth to get the woman behind the counter to stop socializing and actually take your order.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with a girlfriend and was pleasantly surprised! Pros: quick, easy, delicious, no frills greek food. She had the veggie wrap and I had the chicken wrap. Both really good. Large portions at a decent price. For both of us it was $22.50 for sandwiches and fires. Fries were crispy and hot. I ended up eating mine with a fork because it was so much food. Also great- really cute and quiet outside seating AND BYOB. woo! Love a good BYOB place. Nothing like drinking $10 Pinot out of a Styrofoam cup :) Love the old school tray and basket service style, nostalgia! Cons: I think the only con is that its literally no frills, but honestly, I appreciate that. It keeps the prices down and the service was actually great. If there was anything else I could say was that the chicken wrap didn't have much on it, but they made the chicken to order and it had great flavor. WARNING: CASH ONLY! Look forward to coming back and trying something else!

Yelp
Made a second visit last Friday for lunch; much improved, especially when it comes to gyro meat...this time around, the meat was much more tender and I went with a #3 (Olympic Gyro), which is basically a gyro with the fries in the sandwich but a small Greek salad on the inside as well. A ton of food for $7, and if you BYO, you get out of here for under $8 and the quality was there this time. On a sunny day, you are on the patio and you are getting closer to living the dream of imagining this being, say, the Greek Isles and you are hangin' in Santorini with a beautiful person sitting next to you enjoying the fresh air. Worth another look. But I'm glad to be able to erase the memory of the first visit!

Yelp
I dont ever really do reviews but this place was overpriced and not that great. The gyro meat was super dry. My kid ordered the chicken salad was soaked in oil with 0 taste. I'll avoid this place in the future.

Yelp
Despite the fact that this place seems to be open whenever they feel like it, they have great gyros (or gyro plate). The meat was really tender, the toppings were fresh and the tzatsiki was tasty. They have an extensive menu, but I haven't ventured beyond the gyros. The outdoor patio is fun, although it feels a bit like being in a zoo. I suppose they have to keep the gate high so no one steals their day-glo palm tree. Service is fine, but is it weird that the guy behind the counter asked me if I wanted to fill out an application?

Yelp
It's your standard Gyro place. Plenty of meat, ample fries, good service leaving a good taste in my mouth... as good as can be expected after a gyro that is.

Yelp
This qualifies, to me, as a "good food quickly" sort of place. I have no idea about authenticity of the plates they offer, but they also offer a fair amount of typical diner/grill sorts of food such as burgers, hotdogs, beefs, etc. The majority of the menu is Greek, but they also have "Chicago Favorites" I've only tried a few of the Greek dishes. The Grecian chicken everyone raves about is good, but comes out suspiciously fast. You can tell the chicken, although seasoned nicely and tender off the bone, is probably premade and kept in a conventional heater. The potatoes it comes with are also obviously pre-made, I understand this stuff has to be made in advance to some capacity, but it 'cheapens' the dish a little bit. Having said that, I understand this isn't a fancy restaurant, so for what you get it's actually not bad. The gyros are okay... I've had better elsewhere, but you get a huge serving of the stuff so your buck goes a long way. It's probably sharable to be honest. As for the burgers, they're actually half decent. Nothing fancy or gourmet, but they are actually grilled and they do it to order so nothing is pre-made and kept in plastic steaming trays. When I come here, I often come for a quick burger. Pretty cheap, and satisfying enough.

Yelp
Never been but always was interested. After my mammogram, decided to treat myself to a treat. Scrumptious Greek isle salad with lemon drop soup. Yummy.

Yelp
Updated to add another star. When I went back and ordered pastitio (the delightful greek baked pasta with bechamel that I love so dear) and was told they were out, I thought I would cry. But the lady behind the counter insisted on making me some mousaka (nearly the same, but with eggplant instead of noodles), and it was DIVINE. She seems stern, but has a heart of gold! Delicious, delicious gold. Skip the fries or rice pilaf, the roasted potatoes - perfectly seasoned! - are all you need. It sounds expensive, but about $8 gets you a generous slice of mousaka or pastitio, a small greek salad, side of rice or taters, and a honkin' chunk of bread. Plenty, and all delicious! If you're trying to save a few bucks, skip the slice of baklava for $3 and walk over to Farmer's Pride Market on Chicago - you can get a whole plate of them for the same price, or numerous other Greek sweets.

Yelp
This is my to go place for Greek Food in Ukrainian Village. I usually get it to go. The gyros are very tasty. I also like the Greek fries which come with feta cheese and lemon on them. I recommend the souvlaki plate if you have a taste for pork.

Yelp
Underrated spot. I know there are tons of gyro type options in the area, but what I love about this place is the greek chicken. Definitely the best in the neighborhood. Freshly baked and prepared to order. Other stand out items are the lamb chops and pork chops when they have them. The gyros are ok (again, lots of options in the area for that), but go for the more slow cooked items to really understand the value of this place. Fun little patio too! It's a great stop when you're doing a Ukrainian Village dive bar crawl.
