"For being a small counter-service spot on W. 3rd Street, this Beverly Grove restaurant has a relatively huge menu. Run by the same owner as the now-closed Larchmont classic Le Petit Greek, Greek Eats offers well-executed staples like flaky spanakopita hot from the oven, buttery gigante beans in a warm tomato sauce, and juicy lamb souvlaki skewers. The lamb is cooked perfectly, and we like it with warm fries and fresh, bright tabbouleh. You’ll notice people grabbing takeout orders at the counter, but a sit-down meal on the sidewalk with a Greek spread is an undeniable upgrade. " - sylvio martins, brant cox, nikko duren, garrett snyder

"Longtime fans of the 35-year-old Greek restaurant Le Petit Greek, which closed in late 2023 and was replaced by Phil Rosenthal’s incoming old-school diner, can head to Greek Eats. Owned and operated by the same folks behind Le Petite Greek on Larchmont Boulevard, Greek Eats serves most of the original menu, including gyro sandwiches and kebabs, in a fast-casual setting." - Cathy Chaplin

This place is hit or miss so here’s a breakdown on what I’ve tried: - Lemon potatoes - their best dish. It’s like a lemony flavor bomb in your mouth! - Pasta a la Horio - pretty basic but delicious - Horiatiki salad - disappointing. Veggies taste like cardboard with a few crumbs of bad feta on top. I thought it was supposed to be a brick of high quality feta. - Fries - these definitely came from a bag, frozen, so I don’t understand why they went out of their way to say “homemade fries” on the menu - Chicken pita - the pita is fluffy, the tzatziki is thick and delicious, and there are plenty of veggies, but the chicken itself made this inedible. It tasted like boiled / microwaved chicken and there was sooo much of it that I couldn’t even finish the sandwich.

Greek Eats is an awesome new Greek restaurant. I had the classic gyro. It was incredibly delicious made with the top New Zealand lamb. IT WAS THE BEST GREEK GYRO I'VE HAD IN LA! The zucchini veges were also excellent. Service by Manager Nick was as good as it gets and you can't beat the location on the very happening 3rd st. Highly recommended.

As a Greek person I can confirm that the food really tastes authentic! The quality of the ingredients is excellent and everything we got was freshly made. Peter, our waiter, was really polite, welcoming and well-acquainted with the dishes. He added up to the great experience we had. Overall this place is a gem.

Google
Really great food. Gyros are juicy and delicious. Spanakopitas are light and fluffy. Salads are super fresh. The chicken souvlaki was a little on the dry side but otherwise well seasoned and fresh. I should have ordered the lemon potatoes instead of the fries. They were above average but I gather from the reviews that the potatoes are great. Plus they are only 2 minutes away by car from us, so we were eating less than 30 minutes after we called for pick up! We’re going to be regulars. P.s. We’ve been getting our Greek food from Tabla by Sofia which is also great but quite a bit more pricey.

Incredible!! Just what west 3rd has been needing! The chicken gyro is such a generous portion, cooked perfectly, so flavorful, and the French fries? I’ve lived in this area for four years and I’ve tried every restaurant. These are the best fries in the neighborhood. Sorry Slab and Toast. If you like authentic Greek food with high quality ingredients, amazing flavor profiles, cooked by chefs who clearly know what they’re doing, give this place a try! Welcome to the neighborhood Greek Eats!

Google
We are fans of the former Larchmont location and had to try the new one. IT WAS GREAT! Same great food, nice dining area, and good pricing. The servings are generous. I took half home to finish for dinner. Highly recommend. Parking could be tricky. It's a great walk-up.

Delicious and fresh! I will definitely be back and recommend to friends coming to LA.

The food is outstanding!!! The best Greek food in LA. We were so sad when Le Petit Greek closed but absolutely THRILLED when we discovered Greek Eats was the same food but in a different setting & closer to where we live. Our full recommendation.

Yelp
My co-worker loves to eat, and she'll talk about lunch while she's having breakfast. Occasionally, we'll split something. On one particular day, Mediterranean food sounded yummy so we ordered a few items from here to share. We got a Salmon Souvlaki, Patates Sto Fourno, and the Horiatiki Salad. The salmon was tender and flaky and the marinade gave it a nice flavor. The Patates (potatoes) were roasted with lemon & oregano and were very tasty. The salad was a mixture of tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, bell peppers, feta cheese, & olives tossed in a light olive oil dressing. Like a Greek salad, minus the lettuce. They also offer whole wheat pita in addition to regular. Overall, we were happy with our selections. *Catering available

Yelp
Super fast service and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Menu is really big and there are lots of options (which can be a red or green flag depending on how u look at it), I got a gyro bowl which was perfect portion size for a dinner. Food was alright, meat was a little dry and the tzatziki was veryyy citrusy and a little too much salt. Saw this place on several review websites so I was a little disappointed. Would recommend for a quick meal but probably wouldn't come back.

Yelp
It's finally open! This space had been under construction for a long (long) time, but happy to report that it was worth the wait. Fresh and delicious Greek food is hard to beat, and also hard to find in LA. Greek Eats solves both, and offers a variety of classic dishes and some that I'd never heard of. Plus, there was a nice selection of vegetarian options, and even vegetarian twists on traditional meat-based dishes. The space is quite small, with just 3-4 tables inside and a couple on the sidewalk, so eating on-site might prove a bit challenging.

Yelp
Delicious authentic Greek food. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. If you have time I would suggest dining in and enjoying your food in the shade. I appreciated that they brought us ice for our drinks since we were sitting down to eat. The food portions were generous and we boxed up the little bit we wanted to save for later. The gigantes and chicken gyro pita were great but the chicken zorba and lemon potatoes were out of this world!! So much flavor. Cannot wait to come back and try more.

Rod M.

Yelp
The owner and staff are extremely welcoming and the food matches the attention to detail. Try the lemon potatoes they are incredible, you cant go wrong with any of the choices here.

Yelp
We stopped in just to try this place, it's a small space, with good variety of greek favorites, ideal for take-out I think but there are a few tables. We were not looking for a meal, so we decided to share the traditional gyro sandwich.. it was really good! In comparison to others in the area we think it is priced and tasted better.. the lamb was moist and flavorful, it wasn't over dressed. The service was friendly and they were not bothered by our just getting the one sandwich to share.. we will definitely return for a full meal!

Yelp
Small location but very festive interior and great quality food. The service is well informative and the chef are masters of their craft

Yelp
THE BEST GREEK FOOD I have had in LA! Chicken was perfectly cooked and not dry at all. The lemon potatoes are perfectly seasoned and the right amount of lemon. The pita bread and hummus are a perfect addition to the meal. The Tzatziki is wonderful!

Yelp
Demetrious and his son Nicholas are always so friendly and welcoming and make me feel like family on top of that. The food is absolutely delicious. The Chefs are good at what they do. I can't wait to bite into my after work snack. I highly recommend Greek eats!!!! THANK YOU GUYS. The atmosphere feels authentic genuine Greek with their all black pictures on the wall with accents of red and their Aphrodite sculpture.

Yelp
I give this spot great reviews it's really treasure among all the restaurants in the area. The food is just amazing and service is great. It's my regular spot for amazing food.

Yelp
Just had a gyro from Greek Eats and let me tell you it is delicious. I frequent many Mediterranean restaurants and the food was fresh and delicious. Dimitri made me feel very welcome as he came out and introduced himself to me. Something that I do not seem to get at many establishments anymore. If you are coming for ambiance then you are going to the wrong place. I love eating outside and they have plenty of seating for that. My number one concern is the quality of food and Dimitri and his team have it down.

Ray R.

Yelp
I had the Spanakopita a bit too oily but still really good! Next time I'll get a tissue to dab the oil. Very clean and friendly place. Will be back!

Kinya R.

Yelp
Great find! Mom wanted a salad and dad wanted lamb. Fantastic food and top notch service!! My boys loved their meals. Can't wait to return - so accommodating.

Joanne V.

Yelp
Just ordered via a delivery service, and the food was delicious - just as good as the food at its origin restaurant, Petit Greek. As always, the lemon potatoes are beyond amazing!! I only wish the portion of lamb soulvaki was bigger. The photo of two kabab skwers looked signifigantly larger, so that was dissapointing. Order the Kataifi for dessert! So good!!

Yelp
A great new Greek restaurant. I love trying new restaurants, and so far, this is the best gyro I've had in L.A. They have a lot more on their menu, which I'm looking forward to trying soon, but I can unequivocally say that this is the best gyro I've had in L.A. Also, the staff are always very welcoming and willing to answer any questions you may have about the menu.

Renee L.

Yelp
Everything is made from scratch and authentic. Delicious food made by really nice people. Can not wait to eat here again! I would attach a photo of my food but I honestly ate it so fast.

Nick W.

Yelp
Really great wholesome food, friendly service, and easy service. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting good Greek food.

Zen M.

Yelp
Can't beat a 100 year legacy of outstanding Greek cuisine. Dimitri is an excellent restaurateur and runs a rock solid operation here that transcends your expectations of fast casual. We had Gyros and Dolmades and both were exceptional. I'm telling everyone.

Michele B.

Yelp
Don't walk run to this fabulous addition to the westside. Not only was the delivery early, but everything was also still hot and crisp. The spanakopita is by far the best I've had in years and their chicken in Philo is outstanding and unique. It's not inexpensive but is worth every penny. Thank you Nick!

Patrick A.

Yelp
As a Greek, I can vouch for Greek Eats--it's fresh, delicious, and authentic. I'm thrilled to have such a special place like this in the neighborhood. Will be back many times over.

Gretchen R.

Yelp
Having dined at their original restaurant on Larchmont Blvd. my hubby and I were so glad to hear the family opened Greek Eats. We shared the Moussaka & Pastitsio entrees and enjoyed every bite. I too wished I took picture, but, could not wait to dig into our dinners. Loved also the service we received from Host (wish I had asked his name). He was very personable and friendly. Though small in size the restaurant with the photos from La Petit Greek brought back great memories of their delicious food and good times. We will definitely be back to try out more from the menu!

Yelp
Ordered delivery through their website. Per photo it was left outside my building - no call, no email, no notification. Gone when I went to check. When I called the restaurant they said they had no record of my order. Abysmal service
