Good find on my way from my car to the hospital. Very clean, friendly employees. I got this falafel sandwich for takeout last night but didn’t eat it until this morning so in the picture it has been waiting for me for 10 hours. Still delicious! Definitely a better breakfast than what I would be able to get at the hospital.

Was in the Upper East Side to run some errands and was in the mood for Greek food. Was actually looking for another restaurant but couldn't find it. Did see Greek Eats so decided to try out this place. There were a lot of items on the menu, dip and eats, salad, skewers, etc. though decided to stick to the items I had tried at one time or another and was familiar with.. I went for the Gyro Pita sandwich, selecting 2 kinds - the Chicken and the Lamb. Both of them had red onions, chopped tomatoes, dili, parsley, tzatziki sauce and fries. Ordering the lamb would cost you an additional $3 though and that was OK as I have tried many Gyros and the lamb version always tastes better. I must have developed a taste for it during my past long ago business trips to the Gulf, where most of dishes served had lamb. Wanted to order the Greek rice pudding (creamy topped with fresh ground cinnamon). Unfortunately, they were out of this dish. Price wise, the gyros were on the high side and my bill hit $30 including the tip. The wait for the order didn't take long and so got it when it was ready. How was it? Well, when I opened the meal, was surprised to see the fries mixed in with the gyro ingredients. Have never encountered this before and since it was a first time, decided to leave it on. The chicken gyro was ok and added black garlic and black pepper as well as a dash of lemon. The lamb was better, actually pretty good. In terms of adding fries to the mix, hmmm..it looked like a good idea though taste wise, may be better to have it separately. I would recommend this place though as mentioned, could have been better if they had the Greek pudding. Was also priced higher than the other places I go to for Gyros and Souvlakis. The place was also easy to miss as I walked by it the first time. It it located near most of the hospitals in the Upper East Side so probably frequented by their employees. Did see a few nurses taking out a meal.

Google
Had the taste of spreads, zucchini croquettes. The next time I got the halloumi and the lamb and chicken skewer. 6 skewers would be a lot for one person to eat, two are enough. The halloumi is sweet but also savory. Menu is diverse. See attached photo for menu. Service quick and good. Plenty of seating, but i saw a lot of deliveries going out as well. You can buy wine by the bottle or as a carafe. Make sure to recycle your plastic ware when you clean up after eating.

Google
Nice vegetarian options. We had two falafel sandwich (decent size) and one Greek hand cut fries to share for about $30 (tips included). I particularly liked the informal atmosphere and the background music.

Ben Vance

Google
Excellent greek food. Was impressed with the taste in everything on the menu I tried. The place is very clean and the music makes the atmosphere feel very authentic. Very nice establishment and highly recommend.

If you are hangry and didn’t make a reservation anywhere and you need something to hold you til dinner while you are walking the city and absolutely a necessity to come here. All made right there and then with high quality ingredients. Expect $11-$12 per person. Order the lamb skewer gyro and the falafel. Amazing food for very cheap, this place will have a line out the door before you know it.

Google
I enjoy the chicken skewers, with the Greek salad & lemon potatoes. Delicious the service was good, Nice place to sit and eat, or just have it to go the serving size it excellent. You may have to wait a while for your order! IT IS A PLUS!! Because everything is So Fresh.

Google
This was an order of fries!! I ordered a chicken gyro and fries. Im leaving 3 stars bc I have eaten here before and enjoyed the food. I shook the box before opening. I was still surprised to see how few there were. He was better off not putting anything in it. If this is policy take it off the menu.

Yelp
Solid mediterranean food in the UES! We ordered takeout from Greek Eats and got the falafel pita, chicken skewer, and halumi sticks. The falafel pita was very well done and had some of the best falafel I've ever tasted in NYC. The only way they could've improved it was to maybe decrease the amount of cabbage because I feel like pitas are generally not associated with so much cabbage. The chicken skewers came with lemon slices (really good when squeezed onto the meat) and some pita. These are probably some of the juiciest chicken I've ever had at a greek place. Last but not least - the halumi sticks are a huge miss. Not very flavorful and some pieces were also falling apart. The sauce was also not very punchy so it didn't go too well with the sticks. Mozzarella is also just superior. The service was quick and attentive and the store had a decent ambiance inside as well.

Sandy Y.

Yelp
Dropped by for the Sour Cherry Frozen Yogurt. Frozen yogurt was filled to the middle, where the sour cherries were stacked and placed. Afterwards, it was topped with more froyo. Sour cherry sauce/syrup and honey was drizzled on top. The froyo was more on the icy side and tart. The honey and sour cherry were a good pair, giving the tart and sour base a sweet kick.

Yelp
The food at Greek Eats is very fresh and full of flavor. Lamb Souvlaki was great - well seasoned and well cooked (medium to medium well). The Pork Gyro was good as well. I am a convert, I like the fries in the Gyro's and Pita sandwiches. I just really enjoyed the quality of the food here and would pay extra for that. Eggplant and Hummus dips are really good. Eggplant tasted especially fresh. They serve their well seasoned fries with fresh oregano making a very nice side dish. If you are feeling deep in your pockets, have the greek fries that includes a sprinkle of feta. Not worth the extra $2.25 for just feta crumbles in my opinion but if you want Greek Poutine, that's all good. The Falafel sandwich (on pita is it a sandwich?!?!) is a very nice and fresh option for lunch. The actual falafel is very tasty and pairs well with the Tahini sauce. I would like to try it with Tzatziki as a replacement next. Agean slaw pulls this sandwich together very well - I like adding hot sauce too. My only concern with ordering from here is that I don't feel particularly welcome by the staff. They keep their heads down a lot to avoid eye contact and don't engage the patrons. I mean this in the most respectful way, but be as welcoming as your sign out front! They always have nice messages on the sign - good start!

Steph W.

Yelp
Ordered at the store front and my order was ready within 10 min. I ordered the pork gyro. The fries were very soggy and had to be picked off. The meat was seasoned but a little dry despite the tzatziki sauce. The pita was soft. Overall, underwhelmed and would've rather had one from a halal stand.

Kinjal P.

Yelp
One of the best chicken gyros in the area! We got it to go and we're surprised how fresh and flavorful the gyros were. I'm not honestly sure what the difference is between the souvlaki gyro are. Both come with fries inside, tomatoes onions and tzatziki. It was really busy inside as well when we went to pick it up. Will def be back to try other items!

Marin F.

Yelp
This place is right next to my apartment, and I gotta say that having their greek frozen yogurt on a hot summer day just hits the spot. I had their food from here when they first opened, and I remember it being pretty good, but I didn't quite get that authentic greek taste. However, you have to run - not walk to try their frozen yogurt. I had their baklava flavor and it is to die for. The drizzle is so tangy and sweet, and the fro yo takes a while to melt as it tastes so fresh and delightful. The chewiness of the baklava is a nice contrast to the froyo and it's a nice treat. Overall, come here for the froyo, you won't regret it!

Miranda F.

Yelp
Updated review: One thing really keeps me coming back to this neighborhood joint: the greek. frozen. yogurt. Perfectly tangy, just slightly sweet, topped with crumbly Baklava if you want to indulge-- this stuff is the EPITOME of summer. $6 a pop, better than any mr. softie or tasty d'lite. The rest of the service sometimes takes awhile, and although the food is good, it's not the most authentic. But that dang yogurt is worth every dime, every time.

J C.

Yelp
Good food, pretty clean and courteous staff. My favorite was the pork kebabs.....why did they go out of business?!?

Toby L.

Yelp
Third trip to this spot. They are open post Covid with an outdoor section. The place is light and airy. Menu is Greek / Mediterranean- written in chalk on the wall. Standard breakdown of dips/ salads/ souvlaki pita sandwiches. Also have a couple of desserts plus red / white / rose wine. All very tasty- friendly service. Hummus was interesting, tastes quite sweet- maybe honey in it (?) There is a window at the side where they were also selling dessert/ frozen yogurt. Happened to be there when it was Happy Hour so our wine was half price (before 8pm) - always a winner.

Anita Y.

Yelp
I was here back in May and cannot stop thinking about the Greek frozen yogurt with cherry sauce I had. It was so good hubby and I would walk over many nights in a row even when it was out of our way. We did not try anything else but since it was so AMAZING gotta believe they've got more good eats here. Just the right level of tartness and the cherry sauce has REAL CHERRIES! We have been on a desperate search for an equivalent on the west coast and have not found one yet. Please keep this place in business as we won't be back to the east coast until probably next year. In the meantime I'll keep dreaming about this dessert.

Christine M.

Yelp
This restaurant has been my go to spot for Greek food for several years. Delivery is always consistent and the food always delicious! We ordered the Zucchini Croquettes, Greek Salad, Marouli Salad, and the Chicken Souvlaki Sandwich. The falafels are my favorite, so I usually order them with my salad. I also would recommend the Falafel Sandwich. Everything has so much flavor and you really can't go wrong with any of the items on their menu. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant!

Cassidy L.

Yelp
Definitely do not recommend this place. The hummus was extremely bland- and upon further inspection was just completely hard on the bottom. Like we could flip it over like a pancake. Wouldn't be surprised if it was sitting on the counter for days. Chicken gyro was agin extremely bland and literally had no flavor.

Noah P.

Yelp
Ate the chicken gyro here and it was so bland. There were stale fries, some tomatoes and onions, and no seasonings or flavor. The chicken was almost like a rubbery consistency. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Also, the hummus was clearly days old considering it had this ring of dried hummus at the bottom (see photo).

J S.

Yelp
Great food, it is super easy for me to stop in and make a bowl to go. Lovely people as well, always very friendly and social. Highly recommend

Alyssa B.

Yelp
Ordered a Greek salad and humus with pita. The olives in the salad were low quality, but it was otherwise fresh. The hummus was a big disappointment- it was weirdly very sweet? I couldn't eat it. Avoid. Luckily the pita was good on its own.

Pia V.

Yelp
I've eaten here twice, and both times were great. It gets very busy during lunch time, but I've never had an issue finding a table to sit at. The menu is clearly written on the wall, and the staff is usually attentive and ready to assist. There is a water cooler for customers to help themselves, and the food usually comes out fairly quick. Both times here I've gotten the Souvlaki and both times I devoured it. The sandwich is a perfect balance of meat, to crispy fries, to red onions, and etc. Just SO SO good. If I could give one suggestion it would be for the meat to be sliced as the lamb tends to come out in chunks, so it can mess with the balance of it all. Nonetheless, this is one of my favorite Greek spots in the city, and definitely recommend for you to give it a try.

Eric E.

Yelp
Fantastic Greek food. Everything we tried was authentic and delicious. Rapid service. Will eat here again!

Amira I.

Yelp
Meeting a colleague for lunch and this was her go to spot for lunch across her apartment and now i understand why!!! Right at lunch time but it's pandemic times so not as busy as i would expect. We both ordered chicken souvlaki pita and wow so good.. it's huge and full of goodness..no need to order a side of fries they are stuffed inside. It was so stuffed ..i did eat some of fries first which were so perfectly crunchy and then slowly ate it bite by bite. The chicken included some crunchy juicy meaty pieces which were garnished with red onions tomatoes and the good white tziki probably spelling this wrong but you know the yogurt cucumber sauce. We were able to sit outside on the wooden seats and tables outside which was nice 65 degree city Spring weather. Perfect quick lunch food which was fresh and not overly priced. Will be back!!!

Michelle L.

Yelp
YUMMMMY. I've had this place bookmarked forever since I went to Greece and had some amazing gyros. I saw that this place does the gyro legit with the fries inside so I had to give it a try. I ordered the gyro sandwich with pork and for about $10, every bite was worth it. The fries were nice and salty. There was so much fresh, moist fatty pork stuffed in there. The pita was soft ending with a good chew to it. Coupled with some fresh tomato and lettuce, this dish was full on satisfying. Ask for some of their green sauce too. Goes great with the gryro. They have complimentary tap water, a bathroom and seating in the front and back. This place was two thumbs! A must try for some Greek food!

Allison K.

Yelp
Greek Eats was delicious! We ordered a ton of different food, each was better than the thing before it. The food was fresh, flavorful, and high quality - not to mention reasonably priced. The staff was extremely helpful and efficient both on phone and during pickup. Highly recommend! Top Right: Hummus & Pita; Lemon Potatoes Top Middle: Marouli Salad Bottom Right: Chickpea Salad & Falafel Bottom Left: Avgolemono Soup & Individual Skewers (Chicken, Lamb, Vegetable)

N S.

Yelp
Went here after donating blood nearby at NYBC. Got a pork gyro (around $12) that came with delicious Greek fries stuffed in it. The sandwich looked great but tasted meh. Will avoid next time since there are better options around Nice view of the church across the street though. Clean inside and maintaining COVID precautions.

James B.

Yelp
I stopped by here yesterday, got lamb souvlaki, spanakopita, tzaziki, feta dip, Gyro. The Lamb Souvlaki was very good, good flavor, good seasoning, tender yet well charred. Very good dish overall. Spanakopita/Spinach Pie: The inside was good, Outside had more of a pastry puff than philo pastry. But it was still good. Lamb Gyro: The meat was very juicy and fresh with good flavor, Very good meal. Feta Dip: Not bad, not much feta flavor. But it wasn't bad. Overall: Will be back.

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Delicious Greek food and cute outdoor dining space! I've enjoyed getting to-go and eating in the outdoor space. Service is fast and friendly and the mains and desserts are solid. The Souvlaki pita can include your choice of protein. The chicken is grilled well, juicy and full of flavor. Love the fries with a hint of herbs too. The frozen yogurt is delicious and they have a few special flavors like cherry or chocolate hazelnut. So glad I live close to this place and can find an excuse to stop by often.

Ang M.

Yelp
I am a 3 and half but will round up. Love the vibe in here. It's fast casual Greek in an modern up beat environment. We loved the beat hummus and traditional hummus. I am sucker for avgolemono (lemon egg chicken soup). It was good but wish it had a little more flavor. Dolmades were cold and disappointing. But the lemon potatoes were cooked perfectly and delicious. I liked the variety of salads they had and would come back to try one. Service was friendly and helpful. I don't live in the hood but if I did I would definitely order take out once a week.

Michelle R.

Yelp
You must dine at Greek Eats if you want delicious outstanding food. With the quality of the ingredients, the beautiful presentations, and the tastiest menu, you will need to make sure you have time to make choices since there is much to choose from. On top of such great food are the employees, who are engaging and very pleasant. I placed an order for ten people, and ALL loved their food. I heard nothing but praise for the food, which never happens. The other great thing is no matter what you order - it always tastes divine! I will go ahead and say, You're welcome because you will thank me.

Arthi N.

Yelp
Chicken souvlaki pita lacking in flavor with only 3 pieces of chicken. There are much better places than this in the city!

Ron W.

Yelp
Just wanted to drop a 5 star review for the Greek yogurt here! Will have to be back to try other menu items at a later date.

Dinesh V.

Yelp
The food is good and the delivery is really quick. My fear is that they used to care more, the food the last couple of times hasn't been to the same standard it once was. My Greek fries this time were just a sad pile of fries and cheese. No garnish or love or anything. Another time the souvlaki just wasn't as flavorful as I remember it. There aren't many great affordable Greek places in the area so I'll be upset if it continues to decline. I hope they see this and go back to where the used to be on the high standard of delicious food.

Aaron B.

Yelp
The service was fine and it was very nice inside. The quality of the food does not match. The beef gyro was beyond dry and tasted very bland. The lamb kebab was over cooked, and also very unflavorful. Not at all to the standard of Greek food. Fries were crunchy, but the ketchup taste like chunky marinara sauce and sugar. Oregano does not pair well with fries, and doesn't make them Greek.

Adele P.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch with a friend. We shared the kebabs, she ordered a Greek salad, and we shared Greek fries. Service was excellent. The kebabs were a mix of pork and lamb. The lamb was very tender and juicy, the pork was nicely done. The Greek salad was a lot. I know my friend overordered, haha. We wound up taking half the order to go and gave it to my husband, who was getting his chemo treatment as MSKCC. The 1.50 per kebab up charge for lamb is a bit steep and adds up. I knocked off the one star for that. It's not like you're ordering a rack of lamb here.

Adam S.

Yelp
Decided to eat here after passing by a few times, as the vibe looked pretty sweet. As a fast-casual mediterranean food restaurant, the menu looks appetizing. However, for eating in, my friend and I were both disappointed in the lack of flavor and blandness of the menu. The chicken skewer on greek salad was tasty, but i was surprised in the lack of chicken provided when paying $15 for a greek salad with chicken. The $5.50 hummus lacked in size, and everything is served in compostable take-out containers. It did appear extremely fresh (as did the Greek salad), but was overall lacking. One plus: the gyro pita is a sizable portion and is the type that has french fries in the sandwich.

Sarina S.

Yelp
I have to add that the staff here are the nicest people! I've been coming here more frequently and every interaction is so pleasant, and the food is consistently delicious. Recently tried their frozen greek yogurt and it is going to be my go to dessert this summer!

Meghan A.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't reviewed Greek Eats yet. I order delivery from them all the time! Greek Eats does a really good Greek salad, and it's the authentic lettuce-free version. The tomatoes are always ripe, and I love the feta and kalamata olives. I always add a chicken skewer to get some protein in there, and the skewer is nicely charred and juicy. I've tried the tirokafteri as well, which is the spicy feta spread. This is addictive, and they give you plenty of pita to dip. The hummus is unremarkable, so go with the tirokafteri. If I want something a little heartier, I go for the chicken gyro sandwich. It's absolutely delicious, with fresh cut french fries pouring out of it, and ample sprinkles of oregano. The cool tzatziki gives a nice balance to the richer components. My only complaint is that they stock Boylan's gluten-free, dairy-free, all natural, organic, hipster soda instead of Diet Coke. I guess you can't win them all.

Michael V.

Yelp
Ordered delivery here the other day. My GF and I split some skewers, spicy feta dip, lemon potatoes, and a baklava. Chicken skewers were flavorful and not dry at all. Pork and lamb skewers were a little on the dry side though. Still had good flavor. They give a generous amount of pita with the skewers and the feta dip. The dip was exceptional as it had good flavor and a good amount of kick. It was reasonably priced too. Lemon potatoes were fine but couldn't really taste much of the lemon. Seeing the reviews of the fries, I think I'll try those next time. Baklava was very good, one of the best I have had in the city.

Amy Y.

Yelp
I really like Greek Eats. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the delivery fee, but I guess I could technically be less lazy, and then pick up the food myself. Sometimes when hubby's brother is in town, we send him down to pick up the food, haha. Anyways, we always order the chicken gyro. I used to order the falafel, which is also tasty as well, but then I realized that the falafel isn't necessarily healthier... so I decided to go towards the chicken one instead. Have tried the pork one as well, but the chicken is still our favorite. The portion size is pretty big - they give you plenty of meat as well as a ton of fries. The meat is juicy, flavorful. We also eat ours with ketchup since it makes it even tastier. Sometimes on Fridays, hubby's hospital will order it for call food. And sometimes, I get to eat some random stuff if he decides to bring me home some leftovers (shh), haha. They order different things for the hospital, so it's nice as then I get to sample the other stuff that Greek Eats offers (which used to also not be on the standard menu). I really like the lemon potatoes (so lemony!), and the gigante beans (what's not to love about these beans). The hummus and pita is also tasty as well as the tzaziki sauce with the chicken skewers. End with the baklava as a nice sweet treat to a yummy meal - so sweet, so sticky, the bottom layers of the baklava is the best! One time, the delivery person sent us baklava in our Seamless order, and that made me super super happy, heehee.

Brianna D.

Yelp
This is my favorite lunch spot during the work week. Filling, fresh, delicious menus items and beautiful Mediterranean decor. They've set up cute sidewalk seating during the COVID era. The staff is always very kind and service is quick.

Amanda R.

Yelp
We stopped in here during the lunch hours; there wasn't a line and the sit down space was empty. The guy at the counter was a little abrupt answering the question my friend asked incorrectly but it's fine (maybe nerves idk). I ordered the chicken souvlaki sandwich; it was made like a traditional souvlaki sandwich in Greece which was a nice surprise. There was a weird aftertaste on the chicken which made me think it's not being stored correctly but it was still tasty. I'd stop here again.

Guillermo O.

Yelp
When it comes to Greeks and lamb it's like peanut butter and jelly. I love the way Greeks season their meats. This may sound silly especially because it's a red meat, but they somehow manage to make it taste so refreshing! Even with the french fries in there I didn't feel so guilty, considering you could tell they were fresh made. Add some tzatziki sauce in there and you've got yourself a party. Quick counter service is always a plus especially during Covid times. Definitely worth the visit.

Stanley C.

Yelp
Ordered a side of fries and souvlaki pita with lamb. I wanted to like it but the fries were very dry. Maybe thats how they like to cook it but I much prefer thicker cut fries. It retains the moisture better and is still great when cold. Luckily there was some sauce in my pita. It was tasty but coulda used more of it.

Jordan J.

Yelp
First of all, the food was not good. We ordered the lamb and chicken skewers. It seemed as if the food was sitting and cooling off before being served to us. By the time we received the food, it was cold. Not only was it cold, it has no flavor and was dry. It's impressive that they could dry out lamb - a very fatty meat. For the price of the food, I'd expect it should be very good. I will never go there again. Besides the food being cold, the restaurant was cold. It was not a warm day but the store front was wide open. So it was uncomfortable inside as well.

Gabbi T.

Yelp
A convenient little nest in the neighborhood for a very causal quick bite, kind of like higher end fast food. My service experience is always a solid 4.5/5 but food wise, have to give a 3.5/5 for the price and portion. For about 3 pieces of halloumi, they charge $8 and the pita sandwiches lack meat. What they lack in meat and filling though, they make up in fries which are pretty crispy and good. What I would definitely come back for especially during the summer is the Greek Frozen Yogurt. Super tall tower of tarty, refreshing dessert. Good enough to be split between to people in my opinion!

Genie M.

Yelp
What a great staff. Roderick and George were amazing. This is a great Greek fast food restaurant that feels like a come in and relax restaurant..Don't come during lunchtime to get the relax feel.come after work. They have great red and white wines... Totally enjoyed the red and white... The olive oil was phenomenal, so good we bought a bottle...So You put your order in and sit and food and beverages are at your table in about 5-10 minutes . Everything is made the day of. The spicy eggplant was the perfect blend of spice. The feta garlic dip was great, as well as the Greek yogurt dip. The beet salad, chicken gyro and the grape leaves were all fresh and filling but didn't make you feel stuffed. The food was energizing. Went home and played tennis for about an hour. Great food that makes you feel great. Thanks to the Greeks! Yamas! Hopefully that is right word for to your health... Again shout out to the staff for being welcoming and kind...

Jen C.

Yelp
YUM!!! My coworker and I were ravenous after a busy morning and craving a hearty gyro. We pulled up grubhub and found Greek Eats. We decided to try Greek Eats and we were super happy that we did! We both ordered the chicken gyro which was everything we wanted and more. Our gyros were the perfect size with warm pita stuffed with tender chicken, tomatoes, fries and tasty tzatziki sauce. Delivery was quick (we received our order in ~ 30 mins) and neatly packaged (no greasy wrapping soaked in tzatziki here!). 5 stars and two thumbs up for Greek Eats!!

Anna L.

Yelp
It can get quite busy during lunch time, but you can order in advance online. I had the chicken gyro which consists of chicken, fries, tomato, and onion all wrapped in a pita bread. It is the best gyro I gad to date, but a but pricey at $10.

Heather L.

Yelp
Food was good, delivered quickly and early. The gyro had French Fries in it which I was not expecting but it was good. The Hummus was bland and didn't have much flavor. Overall a good (not great) meal.

Alissa M.

Yelp
My mom and I stopped by to eat here after a doctor's appointment and were very happy! The staff was friendly and the environment was safe and clean. We were required to use hand sanitizer and take our temperature upon arrival, then record our names with our temperatures in a notebook. Prices were affordable and we ordered two skewers, pita with hummus, and Greek fries with the feta on the side (since I like it and my mom doesn't). They gave us a lot of feta which was awesome! The hummus was a little stiff and not as satisfying as I'd hoped, maybe it could've used some oil. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, but my mom said the lamb could've had more flavor/seasoning. The fries were amazing! There were a few tables for indoor dining as well as some outside I think. I would definitely come again if I was in the area.

Jillian V.

Yelp
Tonight I had the falafel sandwich and avgolemono soup (classic greek lemon chicken soup). Everything was flavorful and comforting. The soup felt homemade and well balanced. It was the perfect thing while I'm feeling under the weather (I even took more soup home for later too!) Their staff is wonderful, specifically Giovanni who was super kind, professional and informed about their menu. They are doing a great job here and clearly have the right people running it. I'm looking forward to coming here again very soon!

Jason C.

Yelp
Update: Two years later they are still delicious as ever. Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) are also delicious. A little sweet, a little herby, tender leaves stuffed to the brim with soft rice. Initial review: Does an insanely brisk business with the hospital staff and other locals at lunch - pick up, delivery, take out, and eat-in all had a steady stream on a hot Friday afternoon. They have a few small tables that are first come, first serve (but don't try and claim a table before ordering!). Staff does a good job of turning over tables, and few people are looking to laze about after finishing their meals, but don't count on eating in. Chicken gyro was packed with meat, veg, and fries; pita was of the moderately fluffy variety. Pork skewer was delicious - generally moist with good flavor - and combined with an order of fries was the perfect amount of food for 1. The pack of skewers is a great value. Considering the location, quality, and quantity prices are extremely competitive. At my suburban Greek street fair you pay 3/4$ for a pork skewer and 7/8$ for a gyro.

Annette M.

Yelp
New restaurant located in UES. Nice, modern decor and clean. The staff was welcoming and pleasant. I got a falafal and it was overstuffed with falafal balls! It was fresh, fried to perfection and delicious. I also like the slaw mix that was inside as well. Generous portion and the price was right at $7.50. I recommend trying it out. I'll return for sure to try the gyro next time.
