Las Vegas restaurants are serving Hanukkah dinners Las Vegas - Eater Vegas

"Greek Sneek celebrates Hanukkah with a twist on a traditional dinner, available Sunday, December 22, to Monday, December 30. Roasted lamb loin, served with roasted kale, butternut squash, and cranberry for $36, highlights the special for the holiday. Options on the menu include branzino with broccolini, lemon, capers, and Greek olive oil for $39, and feta-stuffed half chicken, served with broccolini and chicken jus for $31." - Susan Stapleton

MGM Grand’s Future Greek Restaurant Reveals Its Menu - Eater Vegas

"Greek Sneek features flatbreads, pita sandwiches, and of course, Ouzo. The 2,000-square-foot restaurant has a hidden entrance leading to the former back room at Crush, with seating for about 100 diners. The menu, created by Morton Group corporate executive chef William DeMarco, includes shared plates, flatbreads, and entrees such as crispy zucchini and eggplant chips with tzatziki, lamb meatball flatbread, crab cake with mint yogurt puree, and various pita sandwiches. The restaurant also has a wood-fired oven used for many dishes." - Susan Stapleton

You enter the restaurant through Crush which is a little strange, but you can order from either restaurant's menu. The ambience and decor are very pleasing. We were there early evening and it was enjoyably quiet. I ordered the rack of lamb and it was one of the best things I ate during the week. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, with the kale being some of the sweetest I've ever eaten. I'd return here just to eat the same thing again.

Bamboozled. Unfortunately this ‘restaurant’ was actually just a ghost kitchen inside of crush. We were seated inside of crush and were able to order from both Greek Sneek and the crush menu. Classic Greek spread- underwhelming. About as good as cheap store bought sauces- nothing exciting about them. Would it kill to use a bit more flavor? Cheese steak dumplings(crush)- good- cheese sauce- yum- nice presentation but very small and only 4. French onion soup(crush) - yummy Beet salad- disappointing lack of beets. Almost all arugula with the afterthought of a few beats hidden under salad. Baklava- disgusting-hockey puck of overly sweet mess. Painfully sweet, not fresh and completely soggy Service- top notch. Never needed to ask for more water- servers and helper were on top of it Basically a Greek restaurant that was created by someone who has never even tasted anything remotely Greek. The only food that was good was the food we ordered off of the Crush menu.

Quahog

Google
A good restaurant for Greek albeit a little strange in location. It appears that the restaurant cohabits the Crush restaurant space. The menu is a little limited and they aren’t presently serving Greek beers although they are in the menu. Food was fine as was the service and seating. Music was a little loud but overall a pleasant experience. We give it 3.5 clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.

Google
The salmon was amazing! We had greek spreads as an appetizer and they were all good. Lamb gyro was huge and delicious. The pizza was pretty decent as well.

Clemente V

Google
A ghost kitchen within Crush, the staff were very busy trying to balance both restaurants. Although the greek gyro was good, it was not worth its 30+ price tag. The food is overpriced when there are other greek places with similar quality nearby.

Nuno Bras

Google
Food was tasty (schrimp entree was great, beef steak was well cooked and tasty, pizza was also tasty, but crust was like homemade pizza). Greata atmosphere and staff, I do advise to eat there

Jamey Winn

Google
I enjoyed the feta stuffed chicken but my friend had the lamb gyro and said it wasn’t anything special. The service and ambience were fine but when there are so many fancy restaurants within site it is had to compare. I would eat here again but would try the pizza under the Crush menu.

Michelle Konig

Google
This is a great choice for a nice meal on the Las Vegas strip. Not as pricey as other options and the food was very good. Octopus was the best. A little odd because it is the same location as Crush. When we went you could order from either menu.

Yelp
After arriving in Vegas around 7pm, my husband and I went over to Greek Sneek around 8:30. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted and escorted to our table. If you are unfamiliar with Greek Sneek, it is located in MGM, and kind of tucked away in with Crush near the KA theater. For a restaurant as delicious at Greek Sneek, it's kind of a shame that it's hidden. Once we got to our table, our server took our drink orders and provided us with excellent suggestions. We started our dinner with the house made hummus appetizer, and then followed with the salmon for me, and the lamb for my husband. We also had the yummiest peanut butter chocolate cake. Everything was so tasty, seasoned perfectly, and served at a perfect pace so we didn't feel rushed. Let me also just add that the level of customer service is absolutely top notch. The entire staff starting with the hostess, servers, etc. were great. I am in love with Greek Sneek and can't wait to return.

Yelp
We had dinner there last night. The restaurant has been absorbed by Crush Food and Drink. They kept 6 entrees from the original restaurant. One of those was the chicken kebab. That's what I ordered and it was flavorless. I substituted mashed potatoes for the couscous and they came out lukewarm. My husband had the lamb gyro also brought over from old menu, the meat was disgusting. It looked like frozen, pre sliced lamb. He didn't even eat 1/2 of it. We were both bummed about our experience.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place, there's not a lot of Greek/Mediterranean food on the strip. Being vegetarians, my daughter and I like the fact that Mediterranean restaurants usually have lots of things from which we can choose. Greek Sneek is an odd concept, two restaurants operating out of one kitchen. But it's not two restaurants. We checked in at the Crush desk and sat in the Crush dining room, and were given both menus. First the good: -service was friendly -the decor is nice -they have a menu for specialty diets: gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. -the house-made pita was awesome! -beet salad was good, even though it was overdressed Now the disappointing -the vegetarian menu was mostly just a list of the apps and salads that were meatless, we were hoping for more options at a Mediterranean place -the hummus wasn't very creamy or tasty -chicken kabobs were seasoned, not marinated -service was slow and they forgot my daughter's beverage -old fashioned was made with crushed ice instead of the large cube that is standard -we tried the gnocchi and fettuccine from Crush's vegetarian menu. Mediocre flavor, for the price I expected better. Kind of frozen entree feel to them.

Yelp
Disappointed .... Had to sit at the bar at adjoining restaurant, which we agreed to.. Ordered the saganaki cheese.... 1. It was not lit, as it usually is , and 2. It was burnt on the bottom. It was disappointing. Staff was ok .

Yelp
10/10 at least for the lamb sandwich. My boyfriend & I wanted a quick bite to eat & just thought we'd try this spot out & oooooh maaaaaan service is pretty good too!

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful restaurant and food. I think the Las Vegas strip is seriously lacking in Mediterranean Greek or middle eastern food options. I loved this place! It's located inside (deep deep inside) the crush cocktail bar so I don't really understand if it's a separate kitchen or combines? Anyway the place has very cute decor and it's a great spot for a date (low ambient lighting etc). We ordered the Mykonos salad (which was more like chunky chopped tomatoes and cuc's and peppers) the charred octopus (so yummy and NOT chewy and overcooked thank goodness) the chicken kebabs and the roasted halibut. Honestly, I couldn't be happier with our order. The 2 appetizers arrived together a few mins before the entrees and we were consistently checked on by the wait staff. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because when he walked up to the hostess she said they only had bar seating available and when we asked what the wait is for a table, she just immediately walked us to a table...? Idk why she was trying to lazily dissuade us from sitting at a table when we arrived a few hours before closing. ANYWAY! I will be returning and recommending. Great spot for Mediterranean food.

Yelp
What a wonderful new restaurant at MGM. My mom and I enjoyed everything from start to finish. It has an intimate, authentic feel. We loved the floral dining chairs and all of the decor was beautiful, but the best part of the evening was definitely the service. Our needs were anticipated well and every one who touched our table was warm and friendly. We started with the pita and hummus and ended up asking for seconds. It's Vegas, right? We're allowed to have carbs. The pita bread arrived piping hot and the crispy chickpeas on top of the hummus were a pleasant surprise. I could eat a whole plate of those. My mom ordered the feta stuffed chicken and said the sauce was delicious. The Branzino I ordered came with toppings, greek olive oil, lemon and oregano. Do not skip this step! It made the dish.. Both dishes came with broccolini, but I was so enamored with the fish that I didn't touch the vegetables until they'd cooled. I still ate them anyway. To top it off, the concierge had remembered that this was a do-over birthday trip for my mom. We had planned to come in April, but unfortunately there was a death in our family and the trip was cancelled. We were too full to enjoy more than a bite of the assorted desserts, but they were all sweet and satisfying. The chocolate was RICH. The cheesecake was our favorite. Thank you for the incredible evening, Greek Sneek. It will be hard to top that dining experience tonight in Vegas.

Yelp
Craving something lighter with flavor and NOT a burger. Love this place. Feta and tomato roasted salad, and a straight up Lamb Pita Gyro with fries. Perfectly prepared lots of flavor. Set up at the bar, and got good advice on a cocktail -it was like a margarita.but better...
google avatar

Nicholas D.

Yelp
First I'm Greek and from the business. I needed something to eat on the way up to the room. I had the Gyro with fries. I guess I picked the wrong dish. The service www good and the staff did a great job. The meat was not marinated and the meat was chopped too small and the portion for the price was small. The tomatoes were what you would expect for the end of the night. Paprika fries is usually not the idea of Greek style fries. I get that on yelp reviews are very subjective. What I can backup is for $12 I can personally cook product that will destroy what I had tonight. I'll go further and say that the food cart the Souvlaki Lady at 33rd and Ditmars in Queens is an example of proper Greek. Or try Evia in Palo Alto, Dio Deka in Los Gatos, Taverna Cyclades in Queens, Estatorio Milos is midtown or Chouliaras in Kalamata Greece.

Yelp
We were not impressed at all. We ordered a couple appetizers and when they arrived, they were so lackluster that we decided to not get dinner here.
google avatar

Ruth P.

Yelp
We stayed at MGM resort and accidentally stumbled upon this place for dinner. It was amazing! We stayed with Octopus and The Calamari so good! Salads, gyro, meatball flat bread And lamb all so good. We will definitely be back again for dinner here.
google avatar

Jim S.

Yelp
We had reservations for dinner but decided to enjoy happy hour at the bar beforehand. We had one round and were in the process of ordering a second drink for some in our party. At that point we were told our table was ready. The bartender refused to pour the happy hour drink me telling us we had to drink them at the bar. We were not permitted to take them to our table. Never heard of such a rule. Our complaints fell on deaf ears. That said. Dinner was fabulous. By unanimous consent this was our best meal in Vegas this trip. The Greek salad , baked feta, sea bass, and the chicken with feta were all absolutely amazing. We will definitely come back again on our next trip to Vegas. Although we will skip the bar.
google avatar

Daniel K.

Yelp
One of the best chicken kabob I ever had. It was cooked to perfection and really yummy. I stopped here when I checked in at MGM. I was blown away and genuinely enjoyed my food. The price wasn't so bad compared to other restaurants on the strip. I paid $27 for my kabob and it was awesome.

Yelp
Such a great dinning experience! We ordered two cocktails , feta stuffed chicken, and rack of lamb. Everything tasted delicious. The atmosphere was fun and enjoyable and the staff was excellent! If you are looking for somewhere to grab dinner I would highly recommend this place.

Yelp
In Vegas for a long weekend - great burgers, and our server Lala was awesome, she was able to get our party of 5 setup with our food in no time. The prices are incredible for a Casino diner.

Yelp
This is my new favorite restaurant at MGM Grand. The food was great and the service was amazing. I was very impressed with the unique atmosphere. It's a hidden gem!

Yelp
Awesome food! Great ambiance I love the brownie and Baklava. Delicious meatballs too

Yelp
Amazing. Refreshing. Great atmosphere. Definitely recommended.

Michelle R.

Yelp
I had 2 appetizers for my dinner: the Baked Feta and the Crab Cake. I complimented it with a glass of wine. It was good, but I wouldn't say it was $60 for one person good ($34 food, $13 wine, $4 tax, + 20% tip). (Dinners cost roughly the same as the two apps, unless you want a gyro.) However, to be fair, decent meals in Vegas seem to be expensive. This is a competitive price for the strip, I think. The service was impeccable. The server was attentive, and recommended a complimenting wine. The staff works as a team, too. Staff constantly, casually walked by to fill my water glass, and remove empty plates.
google avatar

Yelp
Was staying at MGM and found this little hidden gem. Every single item we ordered was amazing. The Mykonos salad had such a tasty, refreshing type of Greek dressing on it. The zucchini and eggplant chips are DELISH! And the ambiance was beautiful as well. It's a cute, forest type looking place. Five stars all around.

Yelp
This high end dining experience was a positive experience. Our server Tini made us feel right at home and was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. We got advice on which drinks and food to try and decided on Coconut Mint Mojitos and Gyros to eat. Gyros were a nice size and so fresh and delicious. The sides we had were the lobster macaroni and cheese and roasted cauliflower with Red wine vinegar. Oh so good! The cheese cake for dessert was the finale. They met the challenge of getting us in and out in a timely fashion so as not to be late for the magic show.

Yelp
We were lucky and able to walk in without reservations to Greek Sneek in the MGM hotel. Dont be confused, Crush restaurant and Greek Sneek share a restaurant space so you can order off of both or either menus. I had the red sangria and it wasnt too sweet. It was refreshing! Our service was incredible, just that alone would make me come back. My husband wanted to try a bourbon and they happily gave him a sample to try out. We got several small plates to share: Mykonos salad, hummus and pita, roasted feta and poblano, and the lamb meatball flatbread with tatziki. Everything was wonderful. The greek mykonos salad was crisp and fresh with beautiful tri color heirloom tomato's. The lamb meatball flatbread was awesome! I am going to try to recreate it at home. With roasted tomatos mozzarella, tatziki. Yum! The baked feta was something unique, big pieces of feta, roasted with poblano peppers and heirloom tomatos. Wow. So good!!! To top everything off, our server surprised us with a anniversary dessert (it was our 5 year wedding anniversary). Great experience!

Yelp
I'm staying here at MGM all week. Tried most of the reasturants, almost all are good. This one, not so much. I tried the steak gyros. There was little meat in a dry pitta. The steak was dry with an off taste. After 1st bite my body knew to stop. I had to pick a piece of steak out to try it again, bad bad. They did give me a "sorry about that" and took my money anyway. The waitress was very sweet though.
google avatar

Crystal R.

Yelp
I wanted to love this but the pita bread appetizer was old and stale. The flavor was missing in the skewers. I adore Greek food but for $225 for 4 people I expected not to taste like a walk up counter service. The best part was the coffee.
google avatar

Karen M.

Yelp
Came here with a few friends before a show. We decided to order a lot of the dishes and share them so we could try out more of these delicious dishes. The Gyro meat is to die for And like none you have ever had before. Check this place out you won't be disappointed.

Dorothy T.

Yelp
I expected more. Of all the choices in Vegas, I wouldn't put this one high on your list. The food was ok/good, the service was slow. We had the lamb giros, Mikonos salad, grilled salmon, avogolemono soup, and saganaki. Mikonos salad was good, but the tomatoes were a little squishy. The saganaki was yummy but I was disappointed that it was not served flaming. Avgolemono was OK. Creamy and rich, but needed more lemon and salt. It was a little bitter, I think maybe the lemons were juiced too vigorously and some pith was introduced into the broth. The lamb giros were OK. The salmon was delicious. Serve on a bed of orzo. SO YUMMY! We ordered spicy bloody marys and had to return them because they were watered down and not spicy. Pricey.
google avatar

Yelp
First meal of a long weekend. Party of 4 - seated really quickly. The "hidden" aspect of the restaurant is cool. Decor is well done. I cannot remember our server's name but she was attentive. We were seated in the back room which was great for conversation and decompressing. The beet salad and baked feta are HIGHLIGHTS. The Feta chicken was really rich but it didn't stop the Bestie from eating half of it! My branzino was bland but salt and pepper helped. My Sister enjoyed the lamb ravioli and her friend a gyro. i would definitely go back for that baked feta!
google avatar

Steven C.

Yelp
Wow. Amazing meal. Unexpectedly great Greek food inside a Vegas Strip hotel. The charred Octopus was tender and more flavorful than expected. I followed it with the Halibut. I still can't tell which is better. Don't miss either, I'll be back for both.

Olivia K.

Yelp
Loved checking out this new restaurant at MGM. The hummus spread was unbelievable and the Chicken Gyro was so tasty! Looking forward to returning for dinner again soon.

Cathy L.

Yelp
When we were at MGM Grand in Las Vegas last week, we went to Greek Sneek. We ordered Lamb Ravioli. Talk about a huge disappointment!! They serve you 7 ravioli..that's it!!! There was no bread, no side, no salad nothing else...for $28!!!!! It wasn't even good. This place is a huge rip off!! If you want great Greek food, go to the South outlet mall and eat at their food court!! That was fantastic!

Alexis Noah N.

Yelp
Must try - New Greek restaurant at MGM Grand! Food is delicious, wonderful atmosphere, and awesome service! Definitely will be back. Thank you Greek Sneek for a wonderful dinner!
google avatar

Nereida R.

Yelp
The service is seamless! The food is flavorful, presented beautifully, and the deserts are so decadent!!! Must try restaurant!

Matt D.

Yelp
I don't know how more people don't know about this place. MGM needs to do a better job promoting this place! Started with the spreads and pita which were a good start and tasty. Then had the shrimp kebob and lamb gyro. Both were fantastic. Great price point , great service , and nice ambiance. Check check check. Id for sure recommend if you're not looking for a super fancy steakhouse dinner

Yelp
Great new Mediterranean restaurant inside the MGM, next to Crush restaurant. Went there last night with girlfriends. Healthy food! The sampler trio appetizer was great, and the BBQ octopus was amazing. The beet salad was flavorful and wasn't drowned in dressing. The veggie flatbread hit the spot. The wine list was top notch. I'm guessing they are getting their great wines from Crush wine bar (adjacent to Greek Sneek). We splurged and tried three desserts. The greek yogurt with fresh berries was light and seemed healthy, the baklava was also light, and not too buttery, and the bread pudding is a must try. Its a cozy place, and i will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Gyros were awesome! Nice atmosphere and awesome tasaki!!!! Good service as well! Will for sure be back next time

Yelp
Easy 5 stars. Other then the name this is by far one of the best restaurants at the MGM. I'm on my 6 day of my vacation and kicking myself on why I waited this long to try the Greek Sneak (which really should be called the hidden gem) . Located next to Crush, and hidden at the end of a small alley, you have this amazing little escape. Food was spot on and the highlights were definitely the octopus appetizer, hummus and branzino. I've never had a branzino cooked so perfectly, a wonderfully layered hummus, nor a octopus app where I was basically licking the sauce off the plate. Truly amazing and a must try. Compared to Top of the World, Crush, Mercato Della Pescheria and MGM's Wolfgang Puck, none can compare to the quality and pricing of Greek Sneak. Only opened for 1 month and will soon be regarded one of the best at MGM and on the strip.

Yelp
Our second visit to Greek Sneek - this seems to be a hidden jewel among many M life restaurants in the area. The cuisine is definitely unique and food is always delicious. Some standout items are the lemon chicken soup, the kefalograviera cheese appetizer and pretty much all of their cocktails on the menu! They are always very accommodating of our toddler too, which goes a long way in our books. Will definitely be returning here.
google avatar

Anita R.

Yelp
Not the environment you would expect from a Greek restaurant. The place is a little hidden in that you have to pass through a narrow hallway to get to the main room. Food is good but expensive.
google avatar

Laura F.

Yelp
Hidden little gem in the MGM. The lamb gyro was awesome! Served with a side of well seasoned fries. Service was on point. We have added this to our list of must eats while in town.

Evelin R.

Yelp
Worst experience ever. On the website they mention they are open at 5, but no, only the bar, the kitchen opens at 5.30 and they are out of certain foods, like the Saganaki.

J M.

Yelp
Somewhat tough to find, but worth the effort. Sat at the bar, great bartender, wonderful food. I got the lamb gyro which was just killer, very nice portion and excellent taste. Tasted so good that I did something I very seldom do, recommended them to the guy next to me who was waffling over what to eat. Just because I like something doesn't mean someone else would but they were just so damn good. If I'm staying at MGM again, I'm there. Actually, now that I write that, it's an interesting way to look at it. I was there for three nights, next time I'm in Vegas, if staying in MGM would go to Greek Sneek, skip Emerils but would take an uber to get to MGM to go to Craftsteak.

Yelp
Date: Wed Oct 24. Dropped into the Greek Sneek for a 9:30PM post-dinner snack. My wife and I shared one Lamb Gyro and one Hummus side order. The server was ALEX. He was very remote with us as soon as we told him we were going to share those items as a post-dinner snack getting re-charged for a late evening ahead of us. He was short with us and paid much more attention to his other tables. We waited much longer than normal for our food, had to ask for more water by raising my hand to get his attention while he was chatting with the bar tender. The Hummus came without the standard pour of olive oil in the middle and no olives. When we again struggled for his attention and asked for the olives he rudely or arrogantly or both told us it would be $3 more for two Kalamata Olives - Wow! He never stopped bye to ask if everything was fine for us, every Denny's servers do that. We felt he should be on the top of his manners and attentiveness for all his customers equally after-all the Greek Sneek has only been opened for about 5-weeks now. Very, very poor dining experience and I've already told all my friends and family about this big miss and a server named ALEX / ALEXAN on the receipt.

Raquel H.

Yelp
Had a great meal here! The waiter gave us EXCELLENT service (I can't remember his name, but he was new and super tall). I had the Greek salad and lemon soup which were full of flavor. Hubby had the halibut which was to die for. The bartender served up a BOMB drink called the Greek Freak which was the best drink I've had on our vacation! 5 stars and I would definitely go back!

Tom L.

Yelp
The Greek Sneak is fantastic. 5 stars for the food and 10 stars for our wait staff. Will come again. Everything we had is up to a very picky Greek standards. When you go to Greek Sneak ask for Alicia and say hi to Dustin, the manager.

George S.

Yelp
A very quaint but delish Greek Restaurant. We were there for some appetizers before seeing a show. Service was quick.

Kari H.

Yelp
We had a great experience here for dinner this past week. Perfect amount of really good food. Easy to get to inside MGM. Service was good and drinks were a perfect pair with our dinner.

Jack R.

Yelp
We were in Las Vegas to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we came across Greek Sneek. It was absolutely perfect! The food is out-of-this world good! Everything we had was wonderful, but I highly recommend the lamb chops, the Greek salad, and the gyros. The Greek wine was also surprisingly very nice. We go to Vegas very often, and this is the best meal we have ever had.
