Best Chicago Farmer's Market - awesome all summer long and into fall. Get there early to get coveted items like Honey Crisps or scones at Hoosier Mama Pie Company. Awesome flowers, too. Local meats, cheeses, fruits and veg. Get coffee at Elaine's and bring your bags! Great for out of town guests!

Open Wed & Sat from 7am-1pm from April - October. Great selection of farm fresh goodies. Love the selection of fresh cheeses (butter kase makes the best grilled cheeses) and veggies. Come hungry for samples and great food vendors. Love the Sunday Dinner burger with an egg!

I love this market, mostly due to its location and its size. There is a great variety in offerings (flowers, fruit/vegetables, canned beets and pickles, pasta, meat, bakeries, etc.) and I love that there are cooking demonstrations and musicians. Great way to support the local community and to buy fresh. It does get very busy on Saturdays from about 10:30, so go early if you want to escape the crowds!

Very nice farmers market. Vendors vary in quality but I love Crumbs breads and klugs plums. Phoenix been makes excellent tofu as well. The prepared options are less excellent. Wednesdays are less crowded and more enjoyable than Saturdays

A wonderful outdoor produce and local meat market! Depending on what's in season, you can find dozens of vendors selling all sorts of fresh tomatoes, peppers, garlic, kale, lettuce, berries, fruit, beef, fish, you name it. Mick Klug Farms, Nichols Farm, and other local producers are there. Great place for the kids too. Kudos to branching out to West Loop! That will be our new home base on the weekends. Thanks!

One of my favorite things in the city is the Green City Market! I just love going here to try out new foods, walk around and plan out my weekend meals based on what's fresh and whatever strikes my eye. The supply always depends on the season and if the weather cooperated, so if you come earlier in the season (April - early June), you won't find as much produce then if you come in prime season time (mid-June - September). Never a fee to get in and always a wonderful experience!

Best Farmer's Market around! There is a great selection of prepared foods, cheese, pastries, vegetables and flowers. I personally like the pastries! A great way to start your Saturday morning.
