The 17 Best Vegan Restaurants in Sydney, Australia | Eater

"Anyone who misses the vegan yum cha at Bodhi (RIP) should check out Green Sprouts, which offers dumplings, bean curd rolls, and “pork” buns for weekend brunch. The mall-based eatery also presents a full-day yum cha menu during the week, so you can find plant-based har gow, siu mai, and chile-smoked soy and beetroot dumplings at 8 p.m. on a Wednesday, if that’s when the cravings hit." - Lee Tran Lam

So sad that this place is closing. Came for yum cha with family and ordered some items from a la carte menu. We loved the turnip cakes, sensational flavour and texture 10/10. The spinach dumplings and the eggplant fingers were scrumptious too! We were a little lavish with our lunch, knowing that we won't be able to dine here again.

Felt like stepping right into Hong Kong. Super authentic dim sum spot, they even pushed the cart to your table for you to pick Such a satisfying meal, left in such a good mood. Fun detail: no surcharge for credit card, but 10% off if you pay cash. Now that’s some clever wording! - Jasmine tea 🍵 light and refreshing, perfect to cut through the richness. - Radish cake absolutely amazing. Could taste the natural sweetness of daikon with little shreds inside. Not greasy at all. Portion’s big, but a must-order. (Our no.1 today) - Spinach dumplings 🥟 didn’t know spinach could taste this good. Skin was soft, filling was fresh and not overcooked. Highly recommend dipping with their fragrant chili flakes. - Sticky rice in lotus leaf super fragrant, the lotus leaf aroma soaked right into the rice. Probably the most flavorful, not oily version I’ve ever had. - Spring rolls very thin, crispy skin, not thick at all. Juicy inside. - Rice noodle rolls had a nice toasted aroma outside, soft and slightly chewy inside with a mild flavor. Better with sauce. - Finger eggplant 🍆 so creamy and soft, with a very thin coating. Honestly perfect movie snack material. - Sichuan chicken fake meat. Not bad, just a bit confusing. Tastes more like a casual snack. (We’re not fans of fake meat, so wouldn’t order this again.)

Great Vegan food. I am vegetarian and tried different restaurants all over Sydney. This is one of the best. Highly recommend!

It took us 45 minutes to drive to this place - and it was well worth the trip! The place was easy to find and there are lots of available parking in the area. Staff were very friendly and the service is excellent. The food was delicious, served hot and the prices are fair. I would recommend getting a seat at the balcony as it was a comfortable place to have lunch at. Highly recommended for anyone to try and we will definitely be coming back.

It was our first time at this restaurant and we can’t wait to go back 🤤. The food was so delicious, great portion sizes and freshly made . My favourite was the duck with pancakes along with the beautiful Mango pancakes . The staff are lovely and very welcoming.

Delicious and authentic cooking. Taste and look of each dish mimics the real thing. I’m glad we came by to try this eatery as it didn’t disappoint. There’s quite a wait for the dishes since it’s freshly prepared (understandable). Pricing wise is quite affordable and won’t burn your pockets. Staff are friendly and service is prompt. We only felt the atmosphere a little noisy and crowded, which can’t be help as they are full house.

Can't recommend this restaurant enough. We came here for a meal on Saturday and loved it. All of the food was delicious and fresh. The spicy wontons were out of this world! Will definitely be back again in the near future. They also catered well for gluten free. Fed four of us for $150 which I get was incredibly reasonable.

Fantastic all vegan yum cha and Chinese food. Everything is delicious. Lovely decor, air conditioned, balcony seating, beautiful friendly staff and great service. We have been here many times and love it every time. Prices are very reasonable too.
