Greenhouse Bar

This was one of the most unique, coolest, and beautiful bars I’ve ever been to. I loved everything about it. We only had drinks this time but next time we will have food because we heard it was good. But the drinks were delicious. Music was perfect to match the vibe. The staff was very friendly and attentive. And the decor! Loved it!!! Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back! Came back Sunday for lunch and it did not disappoint!

Everything about this calm cozy quiet oasis is amazing! Food was excellent (tuna salad sandwich and #2 with turkey pesto spinach and tomato). Atmosphere was like a cool oasis with breezes running throughout and soft lighting everywhere. Decor is very warm and organic with comfortable nooks for seating and relaxation. Ambiance is further enhanced by zen like instrumental music in the background.

This place is my absolute favorite place to go in Nashville! The parking is plentiful around the area… Although you’re not always supposed to park in some of the places, they’re not strict about enforcing it. The atmosphere is like stepping into a whole different world! But I love that it’s so low-key, like they’re not snobby about it. The entire staff is so friendly! And the food is delicious! It’s like the trifecta of the best experience! I bring all of my out-of-town friends to this restaurant just for the experience. If I was going to have a complaint, it’s that the furniture isn’t always very comfortable on the inside, However, I understand why they have it, it completely matches the aesthetics. But it’s not always practical for eating. But that’s OK. I normally sit in the outdoor garden spaces instead. If you haven’t experienced this yet, why not? What are you waiting for?

Really enjoyed exploring this unique greenhouse bar. Had a simple cocktail within a beautifully curated interior of the greenhouse. Also ordered a side of fruit which took a bit of time to come out but overall a pleasant experience. Especially loved the tile work in the bathroom.

This was a cute place to try, food was very good, I had the Chicken Tinga Nachos that were really good, but I forgot to say no Cilantro which I do not like but it still was good. the drink i had was refreshing they will sneak up on you lol. The only thing that i didn't like that it was hot. They do have fans and stuff, but its still hot. You can sit directly in front of the fan, but then everything was blowing away. So we sat right next to the fan, but it was still HOT....

My first visit here was on Valentine’s Day, and I had the pleasure of being served by Tad, the bartender. He truly exceeded my expectations! He recommended delicious drinks and food, and he ensured that my overall experience was perfect. I will definitely come back because of him!

This is such a great concept and the kitchen and staff were super accommodating and helpful with our celiac and gluten allergy.

One of my favorite places! Greenhouse Bar is one of my go-to spots for lunch. Everyone is always super friendly and the food is great. My favorite menu items include the ham sandwich #2, the egg salad sandwich, the breakfast burrito with chorizo, and the seasonal gazpacho! Their lavender lemonade and mimosas are great as well. You honestly can’t find a cooler environment to have lunch with friends. A Nashville gem!

Always a great time!! It never fails, they accomplish the holy trinity: Cool Drinks/ Amazing Food, Always friendly staff, and an amazing ambience! Most recently it was a gathering of friends, but as a date night this spot is perfect. Don't think, just drive over there. No ragrets!

This vibey café and bar in Green Hills is a plant lover's paradise. I met up with some friends for lunch here, and already want to come back and enjoy this beautiful space again soon! There is a small parking out front, with more spots accessible from the alleyway on the right-hand side. It was busy when I arrived, but I managed to snag a spot in back. Given the chilly winter we've been having, I was impressed with how warm it was inside Greenhouse Bar. They definitely had the heat on - and their enormous tropical plants seemed to be loving it. The food is "catered" by FoodCo ... I say catered loosely because I believe they're located on-site for a joint venture of sorts. I ordered the "Pick Two" specialty option, which is a great deal for $10! I chose the Tomato Basil soup and the chicken salad sandwich. The soup was chunky, hearty, and delicious, and while the sandwich was just OK for me, it still made for a great dipping vehicle for the soup. I also appreciate that they carry gluten-free bread, and were able to accommodate my friend's request! I didn't get a chance to enjoy any beverages during this visit ... but I'll definitely be back soon to change that!

So I have been here a few times. Recently 2 time and the first time about 7-10 years ago. This a great place to feel like in a botanical garden. The drinks and food are good. The ambience is chill and the service has been good every time I have come in. Not a place that will turn down kids but I would not recommend it with kids. Come check it out!

Stopped here for lunch and a cocktail. Both were excellent. My wife tried the roast beef sandwich with the horseradish sauce, good night and the clubhouse sandwich. The bar and indoor seating area for lunch are inside of a greenhouse which creates a pretty unique atmosphere.

My husband and I really enjoyed this bar! It's beautiful and so creative. It's a cocktail bar but you can really sit in there for hours because it's so cozy and relaxing. Great and quick service also!

Everyone talks about this place and I was so excited to go. I brought my mom for her birthday and was so underwhelmed. $50 for two sandwiches and a mimosa. How? The ingredients of the sandwich were really fresh but not worth it.

While this review is just based off of the ambiance, staff, and drinks, it is such a fun space! I love how there are plenty of tables spread out and so many beautiful plants. It's a great spot to meet up with friends or even play board games or watch the game on the TVs. The drinks are unique and they have quiet a variety. I did not try the food, but it looked great. I plan to come back and will update my review and include food next time.

Love the garden environment. The interior of the restaurant reminds me of Tulum, Mexico.. Bathroom is bananas and I enjoy the sense of humor of the management .

Stopped by here after our dinner for couple drinks. When my husband told me there's a greenhouse bar, I wasn't sure what to expect. This is a casual cool place to get drinks and food. You will be surrounded by lots of plants which is cool. We ordered few appetizers which I didn't take a picture of and few cocktails. Which were all good. Our bartender was very attentive as well. Will go back during the day to see how it is.

Didn't quite know what to expect here but we were so pleasantly surprised!! Some of the best drinks of our entire trip were here. Friendly service and unique atmosphere. I would come back in a heartbeat and can't wait to have another hibiscus skinny margarita! There's something for everyone!

This place is such a vibe, granted I am bias plant mom! Anywho, the bartender was super cool and knowledgeable. He gave us a great rundown of the drinks. I love that this place has happy hour all the time. My husband and I got the tipsy tea. This drink was amazing and refreshing. I really wang another one as I am writing this review! We look forward to making will a stop at greenhouse whenever we are in town again!

The Greenhouse Bar in Nashville is located in the heart of Midtown and is famous for its indoor-outdoor ambiance designed to resemble a greenhouse. It features a spacious patio area with plenty of greenery and string lights, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The bar offers a wide selection of cocktails, beers, and spirits, often hosting live music performances and events. The turkey sandwich was my favorite on the menu and of course I had coffee. I enjoyed the few and I felt like I was in paradise. The staff were friendly and helpful.

What a cute bar! We made reservations a week ahead and just had a high top bar style round table with bar stools. Food was Tex Mex and drinks were delicious. I wish it had fancier seating to make it more of an experience. I could imagine this being a weekend night dining experience. It would also be cool to see specialty items on their menu with fresh vegetation.

The interior design of this bar is SO cool. The various plants surrounding the interior of the greenhouse transport you to an oasis. They also have a section of the bar with a fireplace. Even on a Tuesday night, the place was packed. Parking is extremely limited directly in front and around the perimeter, so you may need to park elsewhere and walk. Although expensive, the drinks were well balanced and tasted great. The food was also very good. The spinach artichoke dip was a great choice to share with my friends. Overall, I had a blast and woul love to come back with friends soon!

Such a cute spot! My boyfriend and I are visiting from St. Louis and saw a show at the Bluebird cafe, coming here afterwards for some food and a drink! The burger and tater tots were SO good, ate it all so quickly I didn't get a chance to take a picture. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the bartender was pretty rude when we asked for waters after we ordered food and drinks. He told us to "go to the water stations", all of which were empty and he seemed pretty irritated with us when we came back saying there wasn't water in them (pardon us for needing some water). But other than that it was a really cute and lively spot, when we come back to Nashville I would come here again!

The Ambiance walking in was so refreshing and beautiful-! Plants everywhere. There were variety of places to sit. The service by the bartender was exceptional. We were able to order our food and drinks, provided a number and found a table to enjoy our view. The food was more than perfect. Every bite was savory. The tomato basil sauce that came with Brunch grilled cheese was nothing I've never had before. I will definitely go back again. 10/10

Amazing FRESH drinks! I tried the regular margarita and the prickly pear margarita. You really can't go wrong with either. The bar is decorated with all kinds of plants, cute furniture and tables to sit at. The bartenders were friendly and were kind enough to take pictures of my friend and I. Cannot wait to go back!

The ambiance here is unmatched! It's definitely cozy inside and the decor and vibes go so well together. Very unique place to grab a bite to eat. The food was really fresh. We had a blt, eggs, sausage, and bacon. The sausage was really good. The frita bowl was hands down the most flavorful dish I've had in a long time. It was a little spicy with perfect amounts of everything in the dish. Service was average.

It's a greenhouse so expect it to be warm inside! The scenery and vibes were amazing, the food was good too. Went at 2pm on a Sunday and we ordered at the bar and got our food within 10 minutes, probably less. It's on the pricier side so that's why it's a 4 instead of a 5.

I've been in town for the last month staying a couple blocks away at the Hyatt as I helped open a new restaurant in 12th Ave S. This very quickly became my "Cheers" bar and I loved chatting with some main bartenders Ty and Noah who were always so inviting and friendly as industry bros. My Uber driver was actually who told me about this bar, I was hungry and he told me it serves great food until 12am which was awesome because anywhere else was closed when I got home from work. Next time I'm in town I am totally coming back for not just the great cocktails and yummy food but also the good company and great vibes.

Love this spot! It is so vibey on the inside and the drinks are amazing and so reasonably priced. The regular marg is on $8 and always hits the spot. Perfect date night spot!

I truly just love this place. The ability to have good food and great drinks surrounded by plants and nature is amazing. The bartenders are always awesome and very helpful. Every time I go to Nashville I always stop here no matter what.

We were recently visiting in Nashville and while shopping at Green Hills Mall, a couple of cool hip young folks suggested we check out The Greenhouse Bar. Much to our surprise, it's actually in a greenhouse. The atmosphere is fabulous, fun seating and music. This place has a wonderful array of unique craft cocktails and tasty food. The service is a bit different, it took a while to realize that you order at the bar in a line, get a number, and a server delivers. This is clearly a place all the cool kids hang out. I would highly recommend checking it out if you are in need of a little afternoon refreshment.

Really unique spot and a plant lovers dream. It gets warm (it is a greenhouse after all) but they have fans and cold beverages to cool you down. The food was fresh, simple, and delish. Lovely mocktail options for those work lunches. Can't wait to go back.

Went for brunch, which was amazing. The Sunrise BLT might be the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The Croque Madame was also very good! There was parking in the front and in the back from what we could tell. I think it would be difficult to fit a group of people in here, we were just 2 so seating was easy to find. There were only a few tables with 6ish seats. Such a nice & calming atmosphere. Great spot to get coffee and read a book as well. Went Saturday morning in November & it was moderately busy but not too bad, a few open seats.

The inside of the restaurant is so adorable. The service was good - it's an order it yourself and they deliver type of deal, not a traditional sit down. I got the birria tacos and they were delicious. Good flavor, big portion sizes. Would recommend.

I can't say enough positive things about this place. All of the employees are kind and provide great service. The food is fantastic. I get the roast beef #2 and could eat it every single day. Pesto penne is killer. Chicken salad is also one of the best. All of the cocktails are great but they knocked it out of the park with the cold brew martini. The best cold brew martini in town. If Tad is bartending you're in for a treat. He makes them the best hands down. They are all great bartenders but Tad is a master of his craft. I came here for the atmosphere but once I had my meal and drinks I have been so hooked on this place - I come every day sometimes twice a day when I am in town. You won't regret trying this spot out. Favorite place to go for drinks and a quick bite in Nashville. We will come back here every time we come to Nashville! ASK FOR TAD!!

First time here! loved the ambiance! Once you arrive, you have to order then get to choose a table. We got the Egg Salad, citrus salad, BLTabc (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado, Basil Mayo, Cucumber), Tuna Wrap, and Tomato soup. My favorite of them was the BLTabc. Looking for a cool spot with health conscious food and good drinks, this is it.

Beautiful and unique! Yummy food and an excellent selection of mocktails. Waitstaff are friendly and amenable. Great place for a first date or to catch up with friends. If I could change one thing about The Greenhouse Bar, it would be the bathrooms. A bit tight and a tad grungy. The Rooster and Cat gender indicators are crass and do not match the aesthetic or vibe of the restaurant.

This was the first place we went to in Nashville after driving 5 hours out of town to visit the city. We came on a Friday night around 9pm and we mostly wanted to eat real food after eating junk in the car on are way over. The first mission was to find seating. As we went through this literal heated green house there were little nooks of people a bar and tables tops mixed with a room full of people. We did get lucky and was able to join two gentlemen who had extra seating at their tables went on about their conversation until they were able to find a place at the bar to leave us with the table for just our group. We ordered a variety of items but I ordered the spinach artichoke dip. It was very cheesy and good like I like it. The service was good too.

Super cool spot. I was not expecting this out of the way gem. It gives neighborhood bar vibes but still swanky. It's a literal greenhouse, I went on a warm, not hot , day so that may help. I did not eat but I had a couple drinks. The sangria was good (if u like that) but the fishbowl was better. Parking was free in the back but don't wear heels, it's a gravel parking lot. Prices are moderate. Really cute spot would totally come back.

This was such a fun atmosphere and had a great lunch vibe. The drinks were expensive but good. We each got a sandwich and soup, and it was all delicious. The tomato basil soup was unreal. The parking is a bit tricky; we ended up parking at the outdoor mall and walking over because there were few spaces.

The ambiance and vibe in this place is nothing like anything I have experienced before! SOOO COOL! This is not a typical "Nashville" place you think to go to during a visit. My local Nashville friend took me here for lunch during a visit. I am glad she did! The food is fresh and delicious. I love chicken salad and the sandwich did not disappoint. I do wish I could have had different bread - not white bread. I enjoyed the fresh kale salad as a side. Super yummy lunch! I also enjoyed a signature cocktail. It was hard to choose one. You do have to order your drinks and food at the bar. You will have a table number for the server to deliver your food and beverages to you. I wonder if there is table service? There was not during lunch time on a Friday. This is a great place for a casual lunch or a place to have a drink out. But why not both?! I love being surrounded by many many unique plants and trees. All the greenery makes me wonder how many "plant people" do they have to take care of and water them!? When you enter this restaurant and bar you feel transported to a jungle and/or on a tropical island! If you love pants plus good food & drink, you must come here!

Cockroaches!!! The vibe was good, the food and drinks were fine, but we saw 4-5 cockroaches on the floor which caused our table and several other patrons to run out as quickly as possible. As we were paying at the bar we even saw a huge one crawling ON the high top table we had just left! Not to mention that someone made the staff aware of the issue and the bartender simply shrugged.... My friends and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I hope the TN Dept of Health checks this place out and they make the necessary changes... but we will not be back to find out.

Today was my first time at greenhouse bar and this was such a unique experience. It's located in the heart of Green Hills tucked away in the back of a building. The parking situation is a bit rough. There are limited spots up front and in the back, but the nearby businesses generally clear out when it's late! The decor here is amazing and it seems like it's a local spot to come enjoy. Greenhouse bar is a literal greenhouse with plants all about. They also have a heated outdoor area that's pet friendly. I love the festive vibe the bar had today! I went ahead and got their house sangria. I love that they have happy hour specials all day, all the time. Talk about a deal! The drink was made with fresh fruit and was delicious. They have a vast selection of cocktails and mocktails, which I can't wait to go back and try. To top it all off, the bartenders were nice and kind. I had a great girls night here and can't wait to come back for more!

A fun spot for lunch! You order food at the bar and seat yourself. The vibe inside is really nice and I loved the fresh air and all the plants. I got the club sandwich, which was...a lot There were 3 slices of bread and it was huge. It tasted allright but I would pass on this one and try other sandwiches. I also don't like mustard so that didn't help. The pickled carrot sticks on the side is an interesting touch. I got a good handful while my friend only got 3 though, so it was inconsistent. The tomato soup was probably the best I've ever had. Their drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are also really good.

I stopped by the Greenhouse Bar after overhearing about it while out with a few friends in the mall. ( Yes, I am nosey) What a surprising treat! This bar is such a mini oasis for those who love the outdoors and hate all the pesky bugs. I was surprised at how they incorporated the seating within the greenhouse, and there is also an outdoor dining space. I came for a solo study sesh, but I eventually invited a friend for dinner. We decided to split a burger and tots as a snack and I had some delicious lemonade. The service here is a little unique. You order at the bar and the service staff brings you your food. However, they do not wait on you, so you'll have to use the self service station for any refills or extra napkins. There is plenty of parking located in the back of the restaurant and I recommend making reservations if you decide to come at night. They are also 21+ after 8Pm
