How Safe Are Fall Activities like Apple Picking During COVID-19? | Eater

"A small restaurant that opened in Milford, New Hampshire in May 2019, it benefited from large crowds during last year’s pumpkin festival and had plans to become more integrated with the community; now the chef-owner hopes the fall will bring vital business after a difficult summer but is in limbo as the town decides whether to cancel this year’s festival. Although the restaurant has received some government relief, the owner views fall traffic as essential to financial survival and is weighing the wellness of staff against the need to bring customers in." - Nick Mancall-Bitel

By far, one of the best steaks I had in a long time. The food was excellent, from small plates the beet salad was so fresh and delicious, the big plates we had duck and steak and it was each well done. Finished with the Dubai chocolate cheesecake and went straight to heaven. Had the let's vibe seasonal cocktail drink, and it was one of the most flavor complex and multi layered drink I ever had. What a success, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff who works there are very nice, super responsive and talented people creating a very nice and well rounded experience for the customer.

Google
Our first time at Greanleaf and it did not disappoint! Outstanding in every way from our gracious host Josh to our cheerful, knowledgeable and engaging server Greg and the food! Drinks were delish, small plates (duck fat biscuits - OMG!, crispy Brussel sprouts - OMG!), entrees (duck breast and pork loin - so good) and desserts (white chocolate cheese cake and pbj time 🤤). Ambiance was warm and welcoming with super clean/bright restrooms. This place has it all going on!! Highly recommend and we will be back!

Google
By far one of the best meals we’ve had in NH! The focaccia & squash bisque were such flavorful “small plates” they exceeded any expectation I could’ve had. The textures and flavors accompanying the Halibut & NY Strip were absolutely perfect, and I can’t possibly say enough good things about the delicious desserts that finished our meal! I’d also like to mention that the host and server provided top tier service and we couldn’t have had a better experience!

Google
Just had the most beautiful dinner here! from the moment we sat down till we got up to leave we had a wonderful time! the staff was very friendly, the food was fantastic, and the drinks were top notch. Definitely the best rack of lamb I've had in a long time and make sure you save room for dessert. All in all beautiful night and make sure you stop by!

Google
Great stuff in the heart of Milford New Hampshire. Incredible staff. Very friendly and accommodating. The old bank has been transformed to a gem in the restaurant world. It's an open concept room with a full and festive bar. The Halibut was ridiculous good. Several vegan options as well. Just go, enjoy the artwork, and savor the food from a top notch kitchen. James Beard is in the future.

Google
Torn between 2 and 3 stars. The good - staff was really friendly and attentive. Place was clean and really well kept. But, we feel some basics were missed. First, we made reservations weeks in advance assuming we’d get a table and instead were placed at the bar. We hate sitting at bars. Our reservations were right at opening and we asked the host to sit at a table, but they could not accommodate that. The restaurant had TONS of tables available from when we initially sat down to when we left…literally the entire time we were there, the same tables were empty - why couldn’t we get a table? Food was fine, but way overpriced for what you get. I got chicken which was cut up into three small pieces and served with essentially a side salad for $40. My spouse ordered ny strip steak, but it came out as three small cut up pieces of steak - it honestly did not seem like ny strip, for $50. Portions were shocking small for the price, I’d say ‘borderline’ a rip off. Lastly, the political signs right on the front door were off-putting - we wish businesses would just focus on providing their service to all, regardless of their desire to make political statements to their customers.

Google
Had an incredible meal here with friends. The NY strip was the best I ever had, with a super flavorful crust. We also had these delicious biscuits, and for dessert the lemon cheesecake, coffee creme brulee, and the big surprise was the orange cake. So good! Plating was excellent. Sauces were very complimentary to the food. Serving sizes were not huge but certainly adequate and I did not leave hungry. One of the best meals I've ever had.

My family and I have been visiting family friends in Milford for years, and they’ve always raved about Greenleaf. We finally had the opportunity to visit on this trip, and our expectations were exceeded! Every dish was presented so beautifully. The meat dishes were all cooked perfectly, and everything tasted exceptionally fresh being farm-to-table. A fantastic option in this town, and so cool that a semi-finalist from Top Chef owns it! The chef’s wife also makes the desserts, and they were a perfect ending to the meal. The server was professional and attentive, and the vibe was modern yet payed homage to the former bank that used to be in this building. We will definitely return on future trips!

Yelp
Reliably wonderful! The produce is always the star. Their bar program is great. Service is always spot on. The room is a little loud, but not too bad and is well appointed.

Yelp
The food here is all very fresh and prepared to order. You can tell from the quality of ingredients on the plate that they're making everything fresh everyday. Because of this, they do tend to run out of some items on the menu throughout the dinner service, so if you have a specific dish you want to try then it's probably a good idea to try for an earlier seating. The night we went, they were out of halibut and potatoes. We ordered the salmon and NY strip, both were excellent! The salmon especially is a very well put together dish. As an appetizer we ordered the tempura green beans, which felt a little greasy. They're definitely food, but you really want to eat them quickly while they're hot. I also don't like places that charge for dinner rolls... $6 for only 3 rolls is a little steep and they weren't anything particularly amazing. The dining room is quiet and the people who come here tend to be a more relaxed crowd. The servers are all very friendly and the drinks are delicious. It is worth noting that all their beers are cans, no draught options. Best parking is across the street at the library, there's a sign warning not to park there but if it's later at night and the library is closed then nobody seems to mind.

Yelp
I made reservations for my wedding anniversary and was very excited to try greenleaf. I believe chef Chris is a talented chef, he was not cooking tonight so that may have been the issue. When we first walked in we were greeted by a lovely bartender. Our table was not ready yet so we sat with him and had a cocktail while we waited. There was a Halloween festival going on in the town and they were very busy with foot traffic as well as their normal dinner service. They had a bar open downstairs for the food traffic and upstairs was grossly understaffed. That being said, our waitress and bartender were quite lovely. For our starter we ordered the octopus. It was VERY chewy, not what you want when you order octopus. I was very disappointed and hoped the main meals did not follow suit. My husband had the cod and I ordered the duck. Let me say the duck was fantastic. One of the best meals I've had in a while. My husbands fish was very over cooked and bland. If we had both gotten the duck I would've given this place 4 stars. Unfortunately two bad meals was not what we wanted to experience for our long waited visit here. Chef Chris recently opened up a new restaurant. I wish I had made a reservation there instead because greenleaf's food needs his touch.

Yelp
This was a five course event dinner for the 5th year anniversary of the opening. It was a very special dinner. The ambience is Americana and modern while being located inside an old bank. Amazing place. This special event was fully attended, and each course designed by a different one of the chefs who work this restaurant. First off let me say the cocktails are incredibly delicious. I actually tried three different ones and they were skillfully prepared and served, and they tasted wonderful. The meal was simply outstanding. There were so many components to each of the five dishes, all beautifully plated (each dish looked like it came out of a food magazine), that created layers of taste and texture. In between course each chef came out and explained their dish, and owner/chef Chris Viaud spoke about each one and how important they are to tue success of the restaurant. All of the staff were wonderful and attentive (our server was Rob and he was awesome, having been with the team since the restaurant opened), but most of the staff are long term employees, and Chris V. Is the biggest reason for that. Clearly he admires all of the staff from front to back of the house, and they know it. Because this was a special event I cannot comment on a regular night in the restaurant, but I am certain that any dinner here will be among your favorite restaurant memories. It was our first time, but certainly not our last. BTW Chris V. Is a James Beard award nominee. Go there for dinner this weekend - you won't be disappointed. No

Yelp
Their prices are in line with downtown Boston instead of Milford, New Hampshire. The food was fine but nothing that exciting. I really couldn't believe they were offering crappy wines at $20 a glass. And to top it all off we had to pay if we wanted bread. That's really unacceptable !

Yelp
One of the best dining experiences you can get. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff along with food that transcends the idea of what good poultry could be. Beautiful dining room and open kitchen. Jill does a fantastic job curating the cocktail menu as well! The food might seem pricey but it truly is worth every penny. Will highly recommend to anyone! Will be back for sure.

Yelp
Wow wow wow wow wow wow. I LOVED this meal. We became aware of Chef Chris and Greenleaf after Chris competed on Top Chef. I'm a New Hampshire native and was thrilled to see someone repping NH on the show. We were in town for Thanksgiving and decided to take a side trip to the Monadnock region, and booked a table for our last night in New Hampshire. The space is striking: very open and minimalist but doesn't feel snobby or unwelcoming. Our server stopped by the table immediately and talked us through the process: food is cooked to order so it takes time. Don't come to Greenleaf if you're in a hurry. They also develop the menu based on what's in season and what's fresh, so you know you're getting the highest quality food. We each got an appetizer, an entree, and split a dessert. The butternut squash soup was so rich and sumptuous that I scraped my spoon in the bowl to get as much as possible. The steak was juicy and melted in my mouth. The cod was so perfectly flaky. The pumpkin mousse dessert was playful and inventive. Every bite was incredible. I'm still dreaming about this meal! We asked our server if it was possible to meet Chef Chris, and she made sure that we were able to chat with him after we finished our meal as he had just finished dinner service and was about to head to the back to unwind. He was incredibly generous with his time, listened graciously as I fan girled, and took a photo with us. I cannot wait to go back. It is absolutely worth making a special trip for this restaurant.

Yelp
After eating there many times, tonight all I wanted was a vegan dessert, which they had on their menu. The hostess checked with the pastry chef who was "too busy" to cut me a slice and put it in a to go box. I was tempted to sit at the bar (where there were empty seats) order a drink and desert, then ask for a to go box. But if you don't want my business, why should I give it to you.

Yelp
I've hesitated to review this restaurant as maybe they have changed but my biggest complaint........they wanted our party of four to read the menu on their website vs an actual menu. I explained we were taking the evening off from our phones to actually enjoy a nice dinner with friends which we hadn't seen in a while. The waiter was not happy and did bring us actual menus but certainly didn't want to. For the prices he should have recited it to us personally. The food was ok. It was noisy.

Yelp
Wonderful interesting creative takes on all sorts of food. The cod was spectacular. The duck is incredible. Chef/owner Chris Viaud has earned the accolades and awards. And the cocktails! Jill is amazing. No wonder she won top New Hampshire mixologist. I've lived in Boston and Manhattan and I've never craved a specialty drink like those at Greenleaf. The ambiance is also great. Sort of industrial chic, with exposed kitchen and very large factory-like windows that create a beautiful effect when it snows, which it did on one of our many experiences there. We love this place.

Yelp
Amazing food. Awesome drinks Cozy ambiance Worth a drive for sure Wish i lived closer Would gladly return many times

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped by Greenleaf for dinner on the way up to the White Mountains. Yes, we watched Top Chef and we were excited to try Chef Chris's restaurant. We made a reservation about two weeks in advance. Walking into the restaurant we were impressed by the open space with huge windows and high ceilings. The atmosphere was casual but also elevated. We ordered the street corn to start and the duck and tagliatelle entrees. The street corn took a while to come out which was surprising since the restaurant was not full. It was also one corn on the cob which made it a little hard to share... maybe we would have ordered 2 if we were informed of how it was served. The flavors were good but given the way the corn is presented, the flavors were all on one end of the corn leaving the other end very naked. Our favorite dish and highlight of the night was the duck. There were many pleasant elements on the plate and all the flavors worked well together. The dish that really fell flat was the tagliatelle. The pasta was soft and there was no bite to it at all. The sauce was also bland. The duck sausage was the best part of the dish. Wished we had opted for another protein dish instead. Overall this was a fun experience since we were able to see Chef Chris in action in the open kitchen. However, I'm not sure we will go out of our way to return.

Yelp
After seeing Chef Chris on Top Chef, my partner and I knew we needed to come to his restaurant, Greenleaf, to give it a try. First off, the venue of Greenleaf is an old bank building that has been restored with modern fixtures and seating, which gives it a unique aesthetic. The restaurant still holds some of the old bank doors and has small function rooms for patrons. There is an expansive bar with seating, as well as some small tables throughout the venue. The menu is separated by small plates and large plates. The small plates section has a variety of salads, soups, and other smaller plates. The large plates options are a variety of protein focused dishes with some pasta and risotto options. My partner and I decided to get the night's appetizer special, which was a cured salmon with radish, bok choy, cucumbers, and jalapeños and the lobster salad. To the eye, it was incredibly beautiful and it tasted equally as amazing. This was probably my favorite dish of the evening. We also decided to get the lobster salad which was dressed with chives, celery, and has an asparagus puree which was fantastic. For dinner, I ended up getting the Jerk Chicken with mango, plantain, and braised greens. Again, the serving of this dish was absolutely beautiful and the flavors were incredible. The chicken had an amazing crisp to it, however, it was not dry in the slightest bit. The mango puree that it was served with also just tied everything together perfectly. My partner ended up getting the tagliatelle, which was also really great. The large plate portions were definitely large and worth the price. We ended our night with the cheesecake with butterfly pea, basil puree, blackberries, and lemon puree. It was the perfect ending to a perfect dinner. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive. Our waitress guided us through the menu and even made us an off-the-menu cocktail! Overall, Greenleaf is doing everything right between the plating, the flavors, and the friendly staff and environment. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
I have passed this restaurant by for the last two years since moving to Amherst... don't know why, just didn't give it a shot. My niece came to visit and she had heard about it, so we made a reservation and had the most delicious meal. I had the Strip steak, my wife, the Halibut, and my niece and her husband both had the salmon. Absolutely delicious all around. Coupled with the delicious drinks (some "Mocktails") and the wonderful desserts, we are absolutely in love with this restaurant. My wife and I will soon be known as "regulars". Hats off to the chef and the wonderful staff.

Yelp
I have been here several times, pre COVID and during and I want to love it but I just "like" it. The interior of the restaurant is great although noisy when busy. Sitting outside was okay, did it once in the summer but would rather not do it again. So, initially I will say the cocktail and beer offerings were not to my liking. We actually stopped going there for awhile because there were no drinks I enjoyed unless I ordered a bottle of prosecco. They have definitely stepped up the game more recently and I have had some great cocktails and good beer, albeit canned and not draft. The food is presented absolutely beautifully. They are "delicate" portions, not meant to stuff yourself & then take home enough for the next day. Everything I have eaten has been quite tasty-particularly a recent dessert which was some type of gluten free chocolate trifle, I am not even GF but it was amazing. Yes, it is expensive- my husband and I stopped in for 2 drinks, 2 apps and dessert and it was over $100 with tip. I realize that is unacceptable to most folks and I do wish it was a touch less expensive given Bar One being a couple doors down and much more affordable but still creative and tasty. Now, I do have a slight issue with a recent occurrence, they close early when it isn't busy..okay if that is your policy that is okay but when I am stopping in there at 7:45 trying to have a drink and a snack and all the chairs are up on the tables and you are basically staring me down to leave why not change your hours? You are not open till 9, you are open till you close. Maybe 7 or 8 but not 9. Now we will just call to see what time they are closing so we can decide if we should go somewhere else. It's not a deal breaker just an annoyance. Bottom line is that not many places are perfect and Greenleaf has a few flaws but it is a great spot if you can afford it.

Chiara Y.

Yelp
Ate at the Green twice in Spring 2023z service is superb and the food is unique and cooked/served to perfection. Menu might seem pricey but worth every dollar. If you like cocktails they have an interesting selection so my friend and I ordered a few to try and share.

Annie D.

Yelp
Modern, clean establishment with large windows and nicely decorated for Christmas. Inviting lighting and bar area. Menu is slightly limited, with protein being the highlight. Not a great many options for vegetarians. Parker house rolls with honey butter were delicious, but an expensive surcharge. Brussels sprouts with creamy lemon aioli was excellent. Cod entree was perfectly cooked with a crispy crust and accompanied by wonderful variety of vegetables. Duck was very good, however the portion was small and did not have enough vegetables to accompany the protein - a very stingy offering for over $50. Salmon entree had a different/strange taste, I would not recommend. Excellent service. Great cocktails and beer options.

Yelp
Lovely building, glitzy interior, aspirational menu, cheerful waitstaff. What's a restaurant of this class doing in a smallish (16k pop.) NH town? Turns out the restaurateur is a long time chef at one of Boston's best restaurants, and he wanted to have a place of his own. There is heavy emphasis on local sourcing which means excellent meats, as there are so many small animal-husbandry farms hereabouts.

Denise M.

Yelp
Food was exceptional. Ate curbside during Covid and couldn't have been happier. Highly recommend!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely incredible meal, start to finish. Restaurant has a great feel. Wait staff was excellent. We fully enjoyed everything we ordered. Every component of each dish was perfectly cooked or thought out. Desserts were masterful. Probably the best meal that we have had in NH!!

Yelp
Amazing experience, 10/10 across the board for service, food and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Expensive, small portions, but delicious. Very nice dining room and view of the chef and cooks!

Jen M.

Yelp
The food was good & it was nice to try a fancy meal. We had a nice and helpful server. I didn't notice an extreme wait on the food to arrive. The downside is the portions. The food serving sizes are so SMALL. You have to get appetizers or multiple items, or you will leave starving.

Yelp
Flavorful food. Highly recommend the rabbit as a big plate dish and baked Alaska for dessert. Well curated menu that celebrates local agriculture. Staff is so pleasant, welcoming, and kind. You feel like you are eating at home by the hospitality the staff provides throughout your dining experience.

Yelp
Located in Downtown Milford, just east of the Oval, Greenleaf opened for business this week. The space was renovated very nicely into a modern farm to table restaurant and bar. The atmosphere is modern and rustic here with hardwood floors, large window frames, high ceilings with exposed vents and small lights, old framed pictures of Milford decorating the freshly painted walls. The place has table seating along the windows and the L shaped bar with high chair seating along the inside. Formerly an old bank, there is also a vault which also serves as an intimate private dining room, pretty neat! As for the menu offerings, they offer several chef inspired selections of small plates (salad, pea soup, lamb meatballs, hush puppies, wings) , large plates (seafood, steak, chicken, pork, vegetarian, pasta), and desserts, as well as a list of beer, wine, and cocktails. The ingredients used here are locally sourced. The prices here are moderate, but very fair. I made an online reservation for dinner and promptly seated upon arrival and given food and drink menus. I had previously reviewed the menu, so I already knew what I wanted. For a small plate starter, the Lamb Meatballs ($9) were served in a small bowl smothered with a thick zesty marinara sauce and cool smooth ricotta cheese. The 3 meatballs were served hot with a good firm and soft texture. For the large plate, the Risotto ($18) had a mix of soft risotto, peas, chestnut mushrooms, and lemon and herbs, which had good flavors. For dessert, the Ricotta Fritters ($6) consisted of 3 deep fried soft ricotta/egg dough balls filled with rhubarb filling coated with cinnamon sugar and served hot. Those fritter balls were so good and could very easily be a fantastic brunch dish in addition to being a dessert. Overall, I had a great dinner at Greenleaf on their second evening in business. The food here was great from start to finish. The service here was very good. The food was brought out in timely staged order, though it took time to come out since everything is made fresh to order. My ice water glass was kept full, which I really appreciated. I would definitely return here for dinner. lt is a actually better to eat here in groups since the table of 4 seated next to me was ordering several plates of food and sharing in addition to enjoying handmade cocktails from the bar. That's the way to really enjoy Greenleaf.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and service, pricey but worth it for a special occasion! Would return

Yelp
This whole experience was fantastic. Best restaurant I have been too in the region. The staff extra friendly and helpful. The food... that salmon was so crispy yet cooked to perfection. Dessert, heck yes the lime curd was so delicious. It's a lovely big open space which usually can get noisy but it didn't and they still managed to make it feel cozy. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
What an amazing restaurant in a beautiful area of Milford. The food was exceptional. The support and service were top of their game. From arrival to departure this restaurant was perfect. The spiced rack of lamb was by far the best I have had. The duck confit small place was divine. The drinks are all superb. This is one of those instances where the food and service are absolutely worth the price. A very special place for a fine dining experience

Yelp
Fantastic food and service. Unique menu with excellent drinks and small plates, as well as entree choices. Really enjoyed our dinner.

Yelp
The place looked clean and promising. I liked the vibe. We got there and they said they were filled booked although half the place was empty the entire time we were there. so we sat at the bar. We ordered our drinks and meal. The food took about an hour to come out. When we finally got our food. We just took our fist bite and then we're asked to move down the bar because a group walked in and wanted to sit at bar because the dining area was booked. I don't mind moving down that's fine but right when we finally got our meal after an hour of waiting. I wanted to leave right when we were asked to moved. The food was okay but I ended up getting food poisoning from the duck. I would have rather had a refund. Never going back here again.

Yelp
Good for a special occasion. Food is thoughtfully prepared. Portions are small and a little pricey. Inside is well decorated and has an industrial feel. Service was ok when we went. The hostess checked in on us regularly which was a nice touch.

Lisa C.

Yelp
Iam not a fan. Made reservations for my husbands birthdate last Jan, it was the worst seat. They seated other people after us and they were eating before we even got a drink, which was gross We hurried and ate and got the hell out f there

Yelp
Every single time we've dined at Greenleaf, my husband and I have been impressed by the creative combinations of incredible ingredients that Chef Chris puts together. Every meal is made with care and premium (local, if possible) meats, cheeses, produce, and breads. We prioritize local dining, and as small family farmers, appreciate the farm-to-table emphasis at Greenleaf. Milford is having a food revival, and we are so happy to be here for it! Book a spot on the sidewalk this weekend, order a bottle of Sauvignon blanc, or ask the bartenders to make you whatever they feel like making (you won't be disappointed), and watch the little world of southern NH go by on a quaint small-town street.
google avatar

Linda I.

Yelp
The place is gorgeous--such a welcome addition to a town that is developing an artsy industrial vibe. Many seats are in front of the chef's station (my fave) or the bar. Old Milford is evident in the maps and photos on the wall, and the bit of bank vault incorporated into the hostess station is a hip touch. Dinner: I never knew pork loin could taste like a top quality steak. My husband and I kept murmuring mmmm and yuuuummmm throughout the entire meal... While the Yankee in me resented paying for before-dinner bread, what arrived was so perfect, with flaky sea salt and honey tinged butter, that I will gladly pay the three bucks anytime. Giorgios's martinis are better and the beer taps had issues, but our server comped the can of beer that arrived after 15-20 minutes. For a one-week old establishment, little glitches are normal, and I always appreciate a server who makes sure you come back. We will.

Yelp
I always have a pleasant experience when dining at Greenleaf. The staff are so friendly and fun, they really treat you with respect and make you feel welcomed. They create a great atmosphere to enjoy dinner and drinks. The cocktails are creative and delicious, it's easy to indulge in a few different ones because they're all inquire and aptly named! The food is always delicious and you can tell how passionate the chef is with how much care and detail goes into each dish. The flavors and portions are perfect. I always leave satisfied and recommend eating here to everyone I meet.

Yelp
Beautiful space, very welcoming and inviting. We sat near the open kitchen and it was interesting to watch the chefs work. The bar is very enticing and the drinks were outstanding. Minty Fresh and Them Apples are both recommended cocktails. Excellent wine and beer selection goes with a small but outstanding menu. The kitchen was slammed and was a bit slow but the food was delicious. Brussels Sprouts appetiser is highly recommended. This is fine dining but has a great casual vibe, you should support this place if you can

Yelp
We have been here multiple times, and it is always a mind blowing wonderful experience. The food is unparalleled in this area, the chef is a genius and the entire dining experience is out of this world. Tonight I had the NY Strip and my love had the salmon. Both were among the best we have ever tasted. Thank you for being so close to us!!!!!!

Yelp
It's a nice spot. Service was very good, but food was extended on price for what was served. I had salmon which was "fine", but at $30+ I expected more. My wife had Brussels sprouts with gnocchi, small plate. It was served in a small bowl but the food in the middle center wqs cold. So it wasn't prepared fresh and it had likely been reheated. The menu options are just the right amount with a handful of entree options so I would expect them to be mastered.

Yelp
I want to like this place. I've been here several times but am continually disappointed. Expensive for what it is and mediocre food at best.

Yelp
Great food, great space. Only "complaint" is that take out isn't available. Will be going again when a special place is called for

Yelp
Recently dined at Greenleaf in Milford, NH. It's farm to table restaurant that they say is "Seasonally Inspired, Locally Sourced." They have been open about five months and the atmosphere features a high industrial ceiling with trendy details featuring grays and wood. It use to be a bank and they have private dining in the Vault. We ordered martinis and they were perfect. However the garnish ... we asked for olives stuffed with blue cheese and got tiny cocktail olives with an equally small piece of cheese inserted in it. We were charged $2 for these without being told. Really chintzy and unappreciated. We felt rushed to order and our waitress was condescending like we have never gone out to eat. We started with an uninspired small plate featuring a slice of heirloom tomato with a spread of some sort on a thick slice of toast. It was edible but bland. For dinner, my dining partner had the scallops with a scallion sauce and I had the chicken breast with sausage, corn and tomatoes. We agreed that our dinners were delicious and presented well. I think they are having growing pains with the server and the communication of up-sells like the olives. I have high hopes for their future. If the same attention to detail from the kitchen spreads to the front of the house it could be great.

Yelp
I literally discovered this amazing restaurant because the owner chef is on Top Chef! Who knew we had a restaurant that serves some of the most creative, delicious and farm to table a few miles from my house! I've dined at every fine dining restaurant on the east coast and Europe. The chef is one of the most creative I've experienced. Flavor profiles, spot on.design? Like art. The waitstaff, Greg was our waiter, our professional and know everything about the menu. Kudos to this beautiful restaurant and its creators. I'll be a regular!

The kitchen was slammed and was a bit slow the food was delicious. Brussels Sprouts appetiser is highly recommended.
