"When it's warm outside and you want to drink beer, head over to Greenpoint Beer & Ale Co. This brewery is at the northern tip of Greenpoint, and it has a big open-air patio on the roof with some picnic tables and a purely decorative stained glass water tower. They serve a bunch of beers that are brewed in house, and there are also some bar snacks like fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, and a hot chicken sandwich. This brewery sits at the far northern tip of the neighborhood, and the space has some big communal tables and garage doors that open up when the weather’s nice. They serve a bunch of beers that are brewed in house (from triple IPAs to fruited sour ales), and there are some bar snacks like fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, and a hot chicken sandwich. A few of them have impressive views and great cocktails, but if you’re looking for a place where you don’t have to make a reservation or pay $20 for your margarita, head up the street to Greenpoint Beer & Ale. This brewery has big garage doors that swing open in the summertime, and if you walk up a flight of stairs, you’ll find a rooftop with picnic tables and a purely decorative stained glass water tower.
