A local institution since 1969, Green’s blends a produce market with a sprawling garden center, sourcing Texas-grown fruits and vegetables in season. Praised by locals and regional outlets, it’s a seven‑day resource for East Texas tomatoes to Parker County peaches.

Oh my goodness, this place is a little gem. We didn’t buy much since I had already done my grocery shopping the day before, but I will definitely be coming back. Their plant selection and garden accessories are really cute. My mother loves to plant and grows so many different types of plants, I had to call her to show her what I had found. Next time I’m definitely bringing her so I can help her build her jardín more beautiful. Also their products are so good, the atmosphere was very chill and pleasant. Everything is organic and family grown. I love it.

I was broke but wanted dirt therapy. I picked out black diamond watermelon and a cascading tomato plant. I had to leave the watermelon because I could only buy one. When I got to my car I saw the sales clerk lady approaching my car. She said someone bought the watermelon plant and wanted to give it to me. I graciously thanked her and felt pride. Someone also shopping in Green's Produce and Plants in Arlington, Tx was kind. Was compassionate to a senior citizen. I am delighted I stopped and enjoyed their beautiful art and plants. Blanca my pup enjoyed the fresh air and admiring folks that smiled when they approached us.

Google
Absolutely beautiful and well kept! Lovely produce market and wide variety of plants for indoors and outdoors. Malu was SO HELPFUL and insightful! We will be visiting again soon for SURE 💖

Google
Nice and large parking lot,It's really clean. They have an amazing variety of lovely plants. I fell in love with all of them and also Mexican talavera pottery.

Google
Since Green's has expanded their plant section, they offer a large variety of Texas native/pollinator friendly plants - even in the small pots. It's nice to be able to finally find some of these closer to home. The folks working outside are always helpful and knowledgeable about plant care. Then inside, there is always fresh produce! It's priced a little higher than a big box store but it's worth it for the quality. This Wiggins watermelon was one of the best I've had.

Emily Tett

Google
I buy some of the most beautiful flowers for my garden here. Love seeing the pollinator presence.

Google
Wow! First time customer.. so impressed! Their vegetable plants are super hardy & they have a great farmer’s market area, too. Very good on being able to get help if needed. Amazing little place! I’ll definitely be back!

Google
This place is a nice little stop. Lots of outdoor metal art (flowers, tulips, etc) . Spinny deals as well. Typical grandma and paw paw spot. Love it!! Had a blast here looking at all the nice “stuff” they have here. Prices are very fair as I’ve priced some of this stuff at other spots and this is pretty darn reasonable compared to the competition. I’ll be coming back soon for more metal spinny thangs . My kids love this spot as well. !!

Yelp
I love visiting Green's Produce and Plants. They have such a large variety of plants, vegtables and fruits and flowers and trees. Lots of yard decor and house plants and of ciurse produce galore with lots of jars of pickled items and salsa etc. Plenty of parking. Carts for shopping. Go get your gardens started

Yelp
I called for a product check and the young lady was extremely helpful! She answered my questions and gave me guidance on what I was looking for! Never been there but now I'm going just because!

Yelp
This has become my go to place for produce and especially plants! I was met with an unpleasant employee one day right before closing. It caught me off guard but not surprised. I don't get acknowledged or asked if I need help while I'm walking around and notice long conversations with other patrons. I'll continue to observe but where else am I going to get my pink pineapple...
google avatar

Cathleen M.

Yelp
Watch out! Ai states their Facebook and yelp reviews consistently mention their extremely inconsistent quality control. Additionally a young man who works there told me they sell lots of plants early in the season then put up sign stated no return on plants because many people bring their plants back because they died strangely. This makes me sad. I used to drive 20 minutes to shop there. I won't be back. There are numerous places in the metroplex to buy plants cost effectively by businesses back up their product.

Yelp
Fresh produce, fair prices and friendly staff. They are also dog friendly! My baby girl got a lot of love & pets. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Summer, summer, summertime. Means it is time to go to GREENS! Some of us have been anxiously awaiting the expansion and it is HERE! I don't have a yard, I have a patio. And I keep filling it up with anything I can find that will survive in my conditions. Greens has everything. I spend most of my time going though and touching all the planties and dreaming of a yard. And then I bring home the little treasures I find that prefer more shade than sunlight. They have an excellent selection of absolutely everything, and that is before you make it inside to check the produce. I love the produce. First off, you can not find a better price on sugar snap or snow peas. I get at least one bag every time I come in. I love that I can buy a half a head of cabbage, and a GIANT bag of tortilla chips. I feel seen. The employees are friendly. It is always clean and we'll laid out. And two of my favorite plants to have at home are hostas and purslane, and they have the varieties that you don't find other places. Greens is the best.

Yelp
While I was in the area, I wanted to check out Green's. There are plenty of places to park. Since it's mainly an outdoor location in the Texas summer heat, you will start sweating quickly. I picked up fresh fruit, the strawberries, blueberries and mango slices with chamoy and tajin were delicious. I tried their sizzling sauce for steak which is good for burgers as well. The prices are reasonable and I like the farmers market style of Greens. I perused their plant section, picked up a pot and plant food to go with my African violet. In addition, I picked up a pot to go with the pothos plant. There will be staff that will periodically check to see how you were doing and provide tips/suggestions for plant care. I look forward to returning.

Yelp
I had very high hopes for this place. I am new to the area and wanted to find a place I can stock up on fresh, local, and non-gmo produce. The vibe here is great, the plant offerings are vast and gorgeous, but the produce falls very flat. Upon examination, they seem to be no different than what I can get from the conventional chain. Also, the fruits I've brought home lately appear to have been sitting on the shelf for a while, as they rot quickly and have soft spots and one bag of kumquats were full of moldy ones. It's called a farmers market, but I think that's just based on the vibe. The produce just doesn't match up to that standard.

Yelp
Yay, yay, one of my favorite places! Greens is always a wonderful visit, but it's especially marvelous when the weather starts to truly cool down and that fall feeling is actually in the air. Then you can truly enjoy browsing through all their plants and garden goodies. Jon and I visited recently and it was packed on a pleasant Saturday afternoon. No worries, still enjoyable. They had lots of pumpkins out but believe me, there will be even more once October hits. Pumpkins in every size and color! There's also tons of beautiful mums. I think Greens produce section is getting better and better. Plenty of colorful options to choose from: fruits, veggies, herbs, and more in so many varieties. We got the most beautiful garlic bulbs and a ton of other stuff to make a fresh salsa. We also bought peach jalapeño jelly (it's amazing) and I found a gluten free, locally made, roasted garlic & jalapeño pasta! We cooked it the other night and it was delicious. The staff here is really nice. Some adults I've seen for years and typically several high school kids. Sometimes they don't know what veggie you're purchasing and you have to tell them so they can ring it up, but that's okay by me. Love Greens. Please go here! Lots of fall and halloween decorations out now.

Yelp
Green's is a fun place to walk around and look at plants. I like looking at plants it is relaxing. The prices are comparable to other nurseries. They have a lot of plants to buy. The produce section is a nice size with plenty of nice fresh looking vegetables. Plus other items jams, jelly's to name a few. Price also seem good. No one ever ask if I needed help so I just walked around. They did have plenty of employees and they were all working. If I wanted help I could have got some help.

Yelp
A food, produce, and plant store that does not accept EBT. Food prices are ridiculously expensive for no reason right now post Covid. Technology is also rapidly changing. This store should step up to 2022.

Camryn A.

Yelp
The prices are much better than most farmers markets and the quality is very fresh. I was able to get a large cantaloupe for only $3 and it was so good! Would definitely come here again.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is great! We just happened to see it when we were headed for The Original Chop House Burger. (Great burger!) We headed back here after lunch, caused it was packed and that's always a good sign. Inside was my kind of place. Jam packed with food, from fresh vegetables and fruits to jerky, canned and pickled veggies, canned fruits, jam, jelly, and on and on! Yes, I bought some of the sweet habanero jelly that goes with cream cheese. It's good! Outside was Mike's kind of place. All the usual outdoor yard ornaments, pottery, and a pop up craft fair. All sorts of stuff! Oh, and free hot chocolate! Yummy. Great place to visit, especially when an event is going on! GO!

Yelp
It's greens what can you say ? Good people who hire good people to work for them . Fresh veggies and they get the good stuff brought to them . Coopers Farm peaches ? You get them here folks Pecos melons ? Here ya go Always have fresh herbs and I love that the most

Keith S.

Yelp
The quality of the veggies and not to mention love the plants ... ceramic pots from all shapes and sizes ... Highly recommended....

Stephanie N.

Yelp
Accidentally ran into this place. So glad I did! They have the best prices and best selection of healthy plants. Don't buy your plants from those big chain stores, shop here!

Yelp
I love Greens...they have been around for many years. It is a wonderful place to go buy produce and flowers anything you might want and need. It is a beautiful peaceful place. Employees are kind and knowledgeable.

Yelp
Happened upon this place yesterday and stopped in because it looked so busy! Started in the outside garden because they had a huge assortment, and the had organic herbs. Quite a bit of antiques in the yard as well, a few interesting plants I had not seen at other nurseries before. Ventured inside for a cute assortment of miniature plants (mini peperomia, mini daisies etc) cute fixing for a fairy garden! Air plants very healthy at a great price too. Their grocery section was great looking, we grabbed some of the seasoned chips as well. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, will definitely be back !

Yelp
I love fruit and get disappointed by grocery store fruit all thee time. I came here & purchased strawberries that were delicious along with 1 peach. It was thee best peach I've ever had in my life. My friend got a watermelon that was rotten and a cantaloupe that was really good. We both got pies I had coconut too sweet for me & my buddy got pecan which he loved. I most certainly would go back. My guess is the rotten watermelon is not the norm for this establishment.

Yelp
If you're looking for a local nursery unfortunately your travels must continue. While initially the store as well as the staff looked well organized and welcoming that is hardly the case. During our short visit we were followed constantly ending with a feeling of interrogation & distrust. Perhaps instead of accusations towards customers label your merchandise better to avoid misconceptions. I doubt very seriously that people are stuffing pumpkins nor planters in their pants.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is cool!! I'm glad my neighbors told us about this gem. There's a lot to look at from yard art, to plants, and produce. Plants and hanging baskets are very pretty. Large and good prices. Lots of herbs and vegetables to plant too. Check out the yard art and antiques. Fun stuff there too and some family unique things. Loved the produce. I felt like I was at a little Farmer's Market. Good prices, in fact some prices are so much better than Tom Thumb...or matched their pricing but quality is much better! Lots of fruits and veggies along with milk and eggs too. Avocados were huge and solid....you wouldn't have to make guacamole tonight if you bought avocados today. You'll find jams and jelly and honey on the back wall. So many to choose from. I love that the produce is local and fresh. This will be a new go-to for fresh produce and flowerbed color!! This is just our kind of place and we can't wait to go back!!!

Yelp
Since my wife and I have rejoined Weight Watchers we're eating a lot more fresh fruits and vegetables. We had some time on our hands so we decided to run to Green's to pick up some fresh produce. We hadn't shopped there in ages and were anxious to check out the selection. We had a great time picking out fruits and veggies and looking over all the bottled sauces and frozen items. We'll definitely be back again soon.

Yelp
I have always enjoyed going to Greens and have been impressed with their service and plants. It has been one of my favorite places to go in the metroplex. That changed today however and I don't think I will be going back. Greens had a small arts and crafts show on their premises. One of the vendors had a both of "Brandon" merchandise. The friend I was with asked what it meant and was told it meant F'k Biden". I was appalled. There were children around who heard. By allowing a booth like this I have to assume they support this nastiness and negativity. Negative politics have no place in a store. A complaint was made when it happened but the response was "politics are everywhere now".

Chonrae M.

Yelp
They have a decent variety of produce to choose from. Their greens are delicious. The plants are beautiful. Customer service is great!

Susan F.

Yelp
Best produce in the area! I bought fresh corn last week and it was the best corn ever! Nice yellow n white kernels, firm n delicious. I luv the TX n TN tomatoes, so flavorful. Best assortment of mushrooms. I've never bought a bad product from Green's!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place! Great plant selection. Enjoyed talking about what plants to plant at a new home. Employees are very knowledgeable.

Yelp
There's just something about this place that gives me that affirmation in my brain which screams: "You are the next Julia Child! Buy those potatoes. Get that squash. Pick out the juiciest Galas and make a country apple clafoutis!" Whenever you hear the same voices in your head, drive on over to Green's, pull up the front door (BONUS), and stroll through the open garage-type doors and smell the freshness. Then start imaging yourself making all kinds of nutritious meals using the fresh vegetables and fruits right at your fingertips. I particularly like the tomatoes from east Texas that I can purchase during the summer. I use those for BLT's and Caprese salad. In the fall, it's a great place to pick up autumnal squashes like acorn and butternut, and don't forget the pumpkins. While some of the prices are a little on the high side, I don't mind paying it for a couple of reasons. I enjoy supporting local businesses, attaining some local fresh veggies and fruit, and loving the convenience factor of being able to pull up to the front door of the business. For all of you that have a green thumb, there's a wide selection of plants to choose from. Flowers, greenery, and vegetable are ready for you to pick out to enjoy at home. Now if they ever want to make this the perfect spot for me, they just need to add some fresh meat to the lineup, and I'll never have to go to another grocery store again!
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Green's is hit or miss. Sometimes the produce is awesome and sometimes it' not and has been left on the shelf way beyond its time to go in the bin. The same can be said about the staff. Usually they are friendly and helpful but lately they've been hiring teens who lack customer service skills and don't know what the names of fruits/vegetables are. I just checked out with a girl who has long brown hair, wearing a Pink Floyd shirt who acted like a total snot. She wouldn't look at me, frowned the entire time, rolled her eyes when I indicated I couldn't hear her mumbled question about an item from behind the plexiglass (and realized later she overcharged me because she entered wrong item) and wouldn't say thank you nor even acknowledge me when I thanked her. In fact she rolled her eyes and turned her back on me. Very strange, antisocial behavior and made for an uncomfortable check-out process.
google avatar

Terry L.

Yelp
Great local grocery store. I've been coming for years. They have quality locally grown produce that's modestly priced. I highly recommend!

Linda S.

Yelp
Best place in Arlington or East Fort Worth to buy plants and produce! The variety of plants is spectacular and the produce is top quality.
google avatar

Tamara D.

Yelp
What a neat little produce stop. Because it's now Fall, they had an abundance of multi colored pumpkins to decorate our home. It's a smaller place, but the workers make up for it with great customer service. We were immediately greeted when we walked into the store and then offered a shopping cart. The indoor area has plenty of FRESH fruits and veggies to choose from. The day we went, they were hosting a fall festival which offered kids several different games to partake in. They also offer unique little odds and end like antique windows and colorful jars. Neat little place to come solo or bring the kiddos to
google avatar

Sandra P.

Yelp
I was appalled on Thursday while shopping as David Allan Coe's " If it ain't country " played throughout the store. The lyrics are racist, and I as a black woman, was extremely offended. As a customer of this establishment, it seems as though I need to rethink where I get my goods. For there is no way I can continue shopping somewhere, that I have to be subjected to this type of music or beliefs.
google avatar

Chantal B.

Yelp
They have some really cool and unique looking plants and great produce. I talked to Josh and he's very friendly and very helpful in answering all my questions. I totally recommend this place.
google avatar

Tony M.

Yelp
Been coming here for many years. Great produce. Normally the staff are really nice. The last few times I've been treated horrible. I've just brushed it off as a few young kids, but today I go to the register to pay, two Young girls behind the register. One is ringing a lady out, the other is put bags or something together. The cashier tells me the other girl can help me. The girl looks at me, rolls her eyes and sighs real loud. This young girl was rude. I am sure Tom Baron wouldn't want this girl or any of his staff running customers off. There are other options in the area. Tom has worked to hard to allow this.
google avatar

Terressa B.

Yelp
I have been on a watermelon kick all summer. Its almost all I have eaten. I have probably eaten apx 3 a week mainly alone. I have gotten all different qualities all summer from grocery stores. Some of them I threw away because they had no flavor and I just bought another. Throughout the summer I would estimate I consummed at least 30 watermelons and now they are hard to find. I googled farmers market and this jewel showed up. The cashier was very sweet and even let me know if anything was wrong with the melon bring it back and they will replace it for free. They were a couple of dollars more but when i cut it... Wow. The best of the season by far. So red it redefines red. I don't know how long they will have them but I will be back for more. Sooooo yummy!!
google avatar

Jaimie T.

Yelp
Been coming here since I was little, we always got the best fruit from Green's. I loved when my mom would let me walk from my school behind Greens to Green's to get fruit for after school snacks. She would take me of course but we still got some of the best strawberry and melons I've ever remembered from this place. Haven been back in a while but I really want to. Fond fond memories at this place.

Beverly R.

Yelp
RUDE from management on down! I have shopped here for over a decade and watched the place decline in selection and quality but stayed the course because I love shopping local. Today was the final straw. You can NOT be rude to customers and expect them to continue shopping with you. There are too many alternatives.
google avatar

Steven S.

Yelp
To Everything There is A Season, and a Season for Everything Because of different growing times and shipping, we are no longer subject to the whims of local growing seasons. That's good. On the other hand, we longer have local grown produce to pick from. Green's used to have some of the freshest and best looking produce in Arlington. No More! Checking their brands and produce boxes, they offer exactly the same produce as we get at our supermarkets. No real benefit of going there as compared to Kroger's or Wal-Mart near by or any of the other stores. Even Braums is carrying produce now. The prices are a little higher at Greens, though. The carry milk and some other items as well. Consider them for convenience only.

Kara L.

Yelp
Love all of the plants! I even find rare houseplants here from time to time for a great price. Produce is always fresh. I love it here
google avatar

Brian F.

Yelp
The concern about the produce and where it's sourced from and what kind of organic something isn't a thing for me here. I buy something to snack on every now and again, but I'm here for plants. This is where I find myself every spring and fall. Tomatoes, peppers, herbs, whatever other nonsense I can find to plant. There's a great deal of plants to be had. The price is sometimes a little higher than a hardware store nursery, but a hardware store doesn't have this selection and without fail has no idea how to keep the plants alive until you buy them. I admit, there are a few exceptions to that, but not many. Everyone is usually very helpful and at least somewhat knowledgeable. It seems like they do a nice job of hiring local high school kids to do grunt work. I did nursery work for a long time in my teens and early 20's. Great job. Also, the display garden in the back always lets you know that they piddling little bell pepper you grew in your yard could have been huge if you were as good as the Green's people.

Bender R.

Yelp
Greens keeps me regular as long as I go on a regular basis. I go on a regular basis as long as I go to Greens on a regular basis.
google avatar

Kathryn L.

Yelp
Stopped by because I was excited to see some local and hopefully organic food being sold by my new house. Eh, not much is organic and I don't call produce from Mexico local. To be fair they don't particularly advertise local & organic but I was pretty disappointed that there is not really a difference between shopping here and Albertsons, except the price. They do however have some local honey & cheeses which are nice & some starter veggies & herbs to grow. Not sure if those are organic though...

Yelp
Green's... oh how amazing you are. I saw you from the road as my close friend dragged my fat ass down to Veteran's Park to walk. I know my fat ass needed it but it made me mourn the leaving of my wallet at home so deeply that my best girl pal took me back to Green's. the second day. After walking my fat ass again. sigh. Ok ok my butt needs it and I didn't want to waste all that expended energy on a high calorie snack so we went vegetable shopping. Wonderland! its a plant nursery AND a farmer's market. Oh serendipity! The produce looks even better than Tom Thumb. Better than Whole Foods. Prices are a little less than Whole Foods. I got green beans that were so fresh.. mmmm... I got beefsteak tomatoes that really look and taste like genuine tomatoes because they are! not pink mushy wanna be tomatoes. no sir. I got cucumbers and made tomato n cucumber salad when we got home. The green beans with some chicken in balsamic marinade got rave reviews at dinnertime. The beans were the best I've had since I had dirt to grow my own. Try the Boyland's real cane sugar ginger ale. Oh yeah.. mmm. I bought cantaloupe for 89 cents a pound and we cleaned it and served it to church group with whipped cream and all were happy. Yeah, I dropped fifty bucks on assorted vegetables and fruit and I will do it again. I didn't let myself go in the greenhouse. Its a very big greenhouse. Next paycheck I shall return and then I shall take home some greenery. I love Green's!!
google avatar

Colin B.

Yelp
I had a change of heart on Green's -- it's pretty much the best place to get produce in fast food Arlington. Period. I went a few times this weekend after I noticed that a good portion of their produce was from Texas, fairly priced, and the selection (green tomatoes!) was ten times better than what'd you find at the grocery store both in variety and quality. The kiwis were huge and 2 for $1, the green tomatoes were awesome for frying ($2.49 a pound), and they had great tomatoes, new potatoes, green onions, watermelon, cantaloupe, etc. So in the middle of the summer when the produce is the best, hit up Green's and go to town.
google avatar

Casey P.

Yelp
Some of the produce is a little pricey but it is always fresh & good tasting. They have beautiful plants, they last & are really great quality. I don't think you can go wrong at this place. I miss their antiques in the front though, haven't seen them in a while. Staff are wonderful & always very helpful.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this little store. They have a very nice variety of sauces that I cannot wait to try. Very peaceful atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable.

Yelp
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! I bought some plants there, $200 worth, on May 9, and some were not doing so well and may have been dying when I bought them. I called them to see if I could return or exchange them and they said no. Even though I bought them just days before. Unbelievable! Proceed with caution when buying plants here. Any reputable nursery offers a minimum of 3 months guarantee, Home Depot and lowes offer a 1 year as long as you keep your receipt. Also plants are about twice the price as Home Depot. Many plants were mislabeled too.
google avatar

Ladda H.

Yelp
Great location. Easy to find. Small farmers market connected to nursery. Talk about fresh. Some good deals, others overpriced like $3 for bag of celery. Lots of Texas made salsas and jams. No other big surprises with selection. Did not get chance to visit nursery but will do so next time. Bought a few basics.
