Salesforce Transit Station is located between Minna&Fremont&Mission streets. This premise is very big and has many services: business offices, gym, cafes, transit hubs that serves transbay and interstates routes (AC transit, Samtrans and Greyhound). Pros: -safe and clean area; - restrooms and coffee shops; - some securities are friendly and helpful; some are rude and look at the people suspiciously; - elevators and escalators to the third floor; - police and securities are walking back and forth to checking out the area, and you may be briefly questioned by them just for overall safety. Cons: - there is cold and windy that is OK during the hot season and bad during the winter; - very rarely announcements that are kind of hard to hear if you don't know the exact departure stop and you can be at risk to miss your bus; - some station attendants are also unfriendly and picking to passengers regarding their lagguge; - no specific signs for assigned routes, and you have to arrive at least 30 minutes before departure that you might be able to reach out a needed bus stop.

The location is great on the downtown; at the third floor of the saleforce park. Clean, with easy access with restrooms and security.

My husband took Greyhound from Sacramento to San Francisco with no problems. It was affordable and a quick ride. Because of his experience, I will be talking Greyhound every other weekend from San Francisco to Sacramento and back again. The Salesforce Transit Center where the pick up and drop off is, is excellent as well. Highly recommend!

I liked the place , my only problem is that I feel there needs to be more police present at the late hour time. I feel very unsafe at night when I take my kids there for long trips they are taking. My kids also feel unsafe there at night. Need more people to help guide them around.

Arrived at 5:30am for a 6:00am bus to LA. The bus arrived at 5:50am and loaded us all up and left maybe a few minutes after 6. The greyhound buses load from Bays 5 and 7 for reference since the office was still closed at that time. And there was only a security guard who pointed me to the right bays. These bays are more towards the southwest of the second floor in the transit center. The bus arrived 15 minutes early in LA with no issues or things to note. Sure I could have flown for 3x the cost and 3 x less time but if you have time to spare it’s worth seeing the views.

Clean and well-lit even at 6am. Office on the second floor was already open even thought the sign said open at 630am. The lady behind the counter was very polite and helpful. The buses are on the third floor. I had two large pieces of luggage so had to find elevators and the signs are east to miss. The greyhound logo is at the bottom and not as prominent but once I saw it the directions became easy. The escalators weren’t on this early in the morning but the elevators were. You can take the elevator to the third floor to get the bus even though the greyhound logo isn’t listed in the elevator for that floor

I bought a ticket from San Francisco to Los Angeles this evening , but I’m truly disappointed with how your business operates. I was assigned a seat next to the restroom on an extremely dirty vehicle. The foul odor and unsanitary conditions made it impossible for me to rest during the journey. I hope the service provider will reconsider seat arrangements and improve cleanliness onboard. Why did I purchase seat 20A, yet the driver made me sit at the back without a seat number? It’s been a terrible experience using your service—please respond urgently!

Very convenient at the new San Francisco Salesforce center. Clean buses, you can keep your electronics charge, plus wifi. Great drivers. Smooth rides.

Don't do it! I already knew that Greyhound is a terrible bus company actually from trips I had on the East Coast. However, I was forced to take it after Flix bump me from my original bus that was headed to UCLA and placed me on this bus ( their partner in the Bay Area). As a disabled passenger I know that I have certain rights and unfortunately the bus driver was not willing to abide by them/ ADA . Bus driver had an attitude and was arguing about the placement of my wheelchair and could not guarantee reimbursement if it was damaged. She was literally was acting as if I didn't have a disability because I was standing at the time and walking. Not all wheelchair users are wheelchair bound . Some are ambulatory and can walk short distances. But anyway, this bus line is not worth the hassle. I know she hates her life personally, but please don't take it out on passengers . The only positive aspect was that the pick up point was right in front of a Oakland, West Oakland BART station so that I was able to easily take the next train to SFO and book an airline ticket. The last minute airline ticket that I paid which costs $80 more is worth it knowing my wheelchair will being handled with care and consideration and that I also I will also be treated like a human being . If you absolutely have to take a bus, try the Amtrak Which essentially is a bus with the connection in Santa Barbara to the train . The FlixBus is sometimes, but since they partner with Greyhound and often needs them to fulfill their rides, I can't honestly recommend them. Honestly just fly if you can .

Booked a round trip from SF to LA neighbor-free due to my severe anxiety and certified mental health condition. Three weeks later, three weeks prior to my trip, Greyhound/Flixbus cancelled my return trip. Customer service representative was not able to offer me a neighbor free ride and gave me a refund. I inquired as to why the trip in question was cancelled Saturday 12/13/2025 10:30AM Union Station to 5th and Townsend 6:10PM. The answer was "operational issues." Next, once my refund was deposited, I was not allowed to book two seats for myself online. I selected several different options on three different dates. On the return trip, I could change seats from 5B to 5A respectively but I could not book both at the same time. Meaning these two seats were available for hours but the neighbor-free experience was not available. After consideration and based on my extreme anxiety that would prevent me from enjoying my trip, I asked Greyhound to refund my money and they said no way. The voucher would have been for a small fraction of the purchase. I was willing to cancel my trip but I am not willing to give Greyhound my money because of their shenanigans. I'm writing this Yelp review to encourage others who have experienced the same to file a class action lawsuit if applicable. I am also letting the administrator who reads this review know that if 1) I am chastised by the driver 2) kicked off the bus 3) arrested for unruly behavior or a crime or 4) have to call the police myself, I am going to accuse Greyhound/Flixbus of fraud (until proven innocent) and sue for punitive damages. I'm definitely going to make a big deal out of this. You should automatically book a neighbor-free ride for individuals you cancel. This isn't debatable.

Very dangerous to stand out there waiting for the bus. And buses dropping people's luggage. Most drivers are pissed off and bullying the client. I have recordings of this. I can't make this up. I'm going to report a bus driver for littering in front of me and another driver for negligence..he didn't shut the door of the luggage all the way and when he fdrobe off a clients luggage fell on the street and I had to run to the light to let the driver know what he did. Also the bus I boarded at 11:20pm last night 9/19/25 onto the bus to go back to LA and the bus driver was rude and bullying everyone to stay quite the entire bus ride with threats of shutting it down and having to wait 24 hours for the next ride out of nowhere. I was traveling from San Francisco west Oakland to LA. The bus ride with the bully was from 11:20pm-730am the entire ride! The bus driver threatened many people individually in getting them off the bus because they forgot to turn off phone ringer and little things like that. She, the driver said,"I thought I told you to turn off your ringers I'm going to have to tell you in Spanish!" Wowwww out of pocket.

Would give 0 starts, if possible. No signage, no customer service, bus arrived late and the EXTREMELY RUDE and disrespectful driver only gave passengers 2 minutes to board.

This is by far the worst transit experience I've ever had. Our scheduled departure was 2:05, only for a sudden notification to show a delay to 2:16, then nothing for over 45 minutes. No updates, no accountability. It's unacceptable how a company like Greyhound continues to operate with such disregard for its passengers, especially those who rely on it because they can't afford major airlines. Greyhound is a disgrace and a prime example of how corporations take advantage of the less fortunate.

Greyhound mistreats people People that must use this system frequently have my utmost sympathy. Greyhound now owned by private equity which could explain its cheese paring abusiveness. The formerly imposing Greyhound building in Oakland sits abandoned and passengers must wait outside West Oakland BART. Each time I've used Greyhound there has been unpleasant incidents. Rude treatment by drivers,, a four hour wait for a new bus, when we had a breakdown, people left behind. No excuse for this.

I made reservation in June 2024 for Departure July 27,2024 booking #3174691318 departure from Oakland (West Oak Bart Station ) at 0730 a.m. And received n email on July 11, 2024 that read in part; Sad to see you go. We are sorry that you are unable to travel with us on this occasion, as requested we've cancelled your booking #3174691318. After reading I immediately contacted Mr.Daniel, a Greyhound Representative whom I spoke to regarding this email @ 310-598-2675 . He provided me with his number when I booked my very first trip because I had not used Greyhound Service in over 40 yrs. I spoke to Mr Daniel and asked why my trip was cancelled. I did respond to the email also asking why because I never cancel my trip? . However, it responded " Mail DDelivery Subsystem Address not found Your message wasn't delivered to noreply@booking. I finally spoke to Mr. Daniel about the cancellation he said to me" Let me look it . up." He return and said to me, " Your Reservation isn't cancelled" I then asked again are you sure?. His reply was "YES" your trip is still good. I didn't give it a second though until today July 27, 2024 at 07:00 a.m arrived at the departure location and saw other people waiting on the Flex Bus to arrive and depart. We waited and waited no show. Another Greyhound Bus arrived and I approached him and asked if he had any knowledge about the Flex arrival? He asked to see my booking Itinerary to my departure an Final destination to New Orleans and I gave it to him . He scanned it and said, your bus should be on its way because he had arrived from Los Angeles. After waiting a while longer. I called Mr. Daniel and asked what is going on with the Bus? Mr. Daniels asked when did you purchase the ticket, I said to him you booked the round trip (if you can review the conversation between us please do) this guy should be fired for the thing he tried to insinuate such as 1. who did you purchase the ticket from, Did you purchase it, Did you use a voucher? I said to him "You booked my round ticket, the total cost was $196.plus change. He then hung up and called me from a different number and said "don't call me on the number I gave you call me on this number 713-701-5675. I called the new number he provided and he was trying his best to get me to say I knew the trip was canceled and I said to him " You know I called and spoke to you about the email and you emphatically tried to force me to say I was to cal him back". this person is a LIER and should not be a representative of Greyhound . This person should be terminated for what he did to me. I had not used greyhound in 40 yrs and after this situation I will not use this Bus Service again. Not to be confused with Craysound Busty Laotians, which are girls from Laos who are very well endowed above the waist, and make extremely insane sounds when making out and such. It's been a long long time since I first came to the San Francisco Greyhound bus station and the memory haunts me still. There was a huge Skyway across the road with the Greyhound sign on it, which always told me I was here. Definitely the memories are haunting and distant, and for a long time after coming many times in my early years, I was always hoping that it would still look like it did in my mind. These days it is the Transbay Transit Center, which has now been renamed the Salesforce Transit Center. It's a massive and amazing and modern building and has taken over from the Greyhound building that I came to and used so many times. It's a good memory for me and I guess that's all that it will ever be. It's been a long long time now since I saw that original building on the street corner, and the new Transit Center is magnificent and currently mainly serves the Greyhound station. Transbay looks modern and space-age and curvaceous and white. And it's definitely quite different to anything you would imagine. There's even an aerial tram and a roof top park. I mean you can't expect much more than that. It's massive and very long, taking up several city blocks, and a wave of the future. There is criticism for the naming rights, but most people actually really love it. They also have a Package Express service here. Barbie likes me to use my package to express myself, so here goes. Again. (pulls down pants)

Coming back from Oklahoma City to Effingham Illinois was a complete nightmare. For starters the bus that picked us up was 2 1/2 hours late due to breakdown. Then when the bus finally arrived there was no driver. Another 30 minutes later the driver finally arrives and proceeds to stand and talk to the previous driver for another 20 minutes. The driver on this route was rude inconsiderate and yelled at four different passengers at different times. Two of them he yelled at for trying to set in an open seat directly behind his. One was a lady trying to get of the bus as she was confused when he had stopped and got off unannounced for a couple minutes and was trying to get back on. He allowed us off the bus for ten minutes on one stop in Joplin outside of that no breaks at any of the stops. He did this all in the pretense of making a connection in St. Louis that was impossible to make from the outset. So we rode all that way on an ice cold bus almost no breaks at all all the way to St. Louis just to set there until supposedly 11 when the next bus was scheduled that we could catch for our next leg. Only to be delayed once again without being notified until the very last minute. Then was told that particular bus would be delayed once again. I finally had to pay out of my own pocket to a destination somewhat close to where I wanted to go just to make it home. The help desk in St. Louis refused to change the ticket. I tried online to cancel the last leg of my original ticket but was unable to. No compensation what so ever. The trip going down there I received an apology and a 10% discount on my next trip with greyhound that I will absolutely never use as I will never ride another greyhound bus again in my life. That apology and discount was for a 2 hour departure delay leaving St. Louis. For the fiasco coming back no apology email no compensation whatsoever. Nothing. I can't talk to anyone about this mess as greyhound has no phones for such purposes. I'm sure you may be thinking I made this up or embellished this experience. The truth is I probably left out several details that could have been added. So thank you for teaching me to never ride greyhound again. I will be sure to pass this information onto my family and friends and even strangers I meet. To keep them from making the mistake of riding greyhound!!

Waited for the bus that never came. We were in the terminal at the bus berth and they said the bus had come and gone. How is that possible when we were there the entire time waiting for the bus that was on the scheduled to come over an hour late? when we called they said the but came to the address of the terminal. Did they pull up in front of the terminal and not bother to actually drive to the back of the terminal to the bus berths? never buy a Greyhound bus ticket if there are alternatives.

Awful. Try another bus line. Our bus was run down and Wi-Fi was iffy. Went from LA to SF.

My boyfriend went missing at the greyhound. His name is Tenoch Serrano. and said he missed his bus. I came from la to San Francisco and put posters on the walls. They told me I needed a permit to do so. He is still missing since December 2. If anyone knows anything please contact me 626 873 0606

bus was delayed 2 hours and then the bus tracker showed that our bus had already left. We get on the bus, and the SMELL was terribly pungent. The stench lingered of cigarette, urine and vomit. CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY!!!

This is the worst means of transportation available. When it is available. Just so you know, if you are delayed because of their company, no matter how extreme, no matter how much you lose. They will never give a refund or show any concern for the life loss you have taken due to their screw up. I sat in kentucky for 18 hours on January 3rd awaiting a driver that never came and noone knew when they would come. Then in Atlanta for 7 hours because a bus was late for the 3rd time. My entire trip would have taken 18 hours, yet i spent that in 1 city. A trip that was supposed to 18 hours ended up being 2 and a half days. I missed 3 days of work out of a wouldve been 1 week check, and because of them my bills are backed up and i am struggling to catch up. They basically tell you 'sorry' but you'll have to suck it up and deal with it. Thanks for your money though. I will spend my last taking an airplane before i use them again.

Would not assign 1 star if I could. Las Vegas to San Diego 3-4 hours late. So ok I figured I got here so I can't have the same problem going back? WRONG! Now if they would have notified me, then I could make other arrangements, but that's too easy they rather me wait an additional 5hrs. Would not tell worse enemy to EVER ride Greyhound.

I want to thank Greyhound for being kind to me and being respectful. I know sometimes being in this pandemic things could be hard. Plus dealing with so many penalties and difficulty of the of the people that come in threw those doors but i thank you so much for all you do and also for all you do for the families that are trying to get home to there love ones. Just know Greyhound you have a big part of doing a great thing for so many families and for those that are re uniting with there families. Greyhound you are helping change lifes around u are making memories there is love all around and you are a part of that and I appreciate it and I'm sure that there are so many as well, and if they don't im here to say that I see it and I'm here to lift you up and show my appreciation and give you thank from all the people. But thats why God gave me a voice tk speak and to give thanks. So I give Blessing to those that help make Greyhound what it is much love to all the family's that are coming together and also the Greyhound families and there family's Blessing to All Thank you San Francisco from my family to yours I also want to thank our County and all other County's that have come together to help bring peace to our families and cities and to all the ones that we hold dearest to our hearts . Con isn't location. Easy to pick up/ drop off passengers. I have not rode myself but I hope to go for a ride someday.

If I could zero stars, I would. I had booked a reservation out of the North Hollywood, CA station to Goshen, CA. The bus was supposed to leave at 12:40. Guess what? It never showed up. Called customer service and they couldn't even tell me if it was late or cancelled. Waited 2 hours. Thank goodness for the Grayhound bus drivers that stopped there on other routes. They were so kind, but had all suggested to call customer service, knowing I wouldn't get anywhere with them. The executive office, needs to take note of all of the unhappy customers and make major management changes. it's not the drivers or customer service reps. It comes from the top down and somebody is not doing their job. Going Amtrak from now on. BTW, I wasn't even going to spend one more minute (or hour) on the phone with a Grayhound rep to get a refund. I went straight to my bank card and disputed the charges for my trip. Refund granted immediately.

You'll buy a ticket with no instructions and you'll not get anything as a reminder or instructions by sms like they claim and you cannot contact them when you press on contact us and when you google their phone number you need to pass through this robot till you miss your bus very unprofessional

Don't even think about it. Take Amtrak. Greyhound left me standing in the freezing cold for over an hour 1/2. I ended up spend $$$ on a taxi, motel room, and food. I asked for compensation, but all you can talk to is a call center in India. Never use greyhound NEVER. Spend the extra $10 and go Amtrack. Greyhound doesn't care about their customers. Greyhound doesn't care if they strand you somewhere for days with nowhere to go. Greyhound will literally take your money and then cancel your bus stranding you while also refusing to refund your purchase. They are thieves plain and simple. NEVER AGAIN

This is a mixed review. At first we had bad service. Here was our situation: We bought tickets at the bus station from San Francisco to San Jose. We told the lady to book our ticket for 10:30am. We trusted the lady that she put 10:30am on our ticket, so we ended up not checking (our mistake). Later, when we were sitting around our hotel room, we checked our tickets and the tickets said 5:30am. We called their customer service and they said they couldn't change it. The lady on the phone was super rude, too. Then, it got better. The lady on the phone switched us over to this guy who was really nice and patient. He helped us out and sorted everything out. He emailed us the new tickets and told us to print it out when we got to the bus station the next day. The next day, when we got to the station, another lady at the desk was super nice. We asked her to print out the new tickets and we told her what happened. She was apologetic and she made everything nice and easy. Overall, it depends who is helping you. There are nice people, but there are also rude people. The actual bus is pretty nice. So once you get through the process of buying the ticket and everything, it's alright.

I had to get from San Francisco to Sacramento on a crunched timeline and this was the only way to get there without being super late. I booked my ticket online (which was a breeze) and showed up to the station without any hiccups. When I arrived, it was pretty chaotic with people standing everywhere and lines situated by letter, but no destinations listed. When I couldn't figure it out, I stood in line at the check-in desk, waited my turn and asked which was the right queue for my destination and this is how the conversation went: Me: "Which line is going to Sacramento?" Lady: "If you were listening, you would have heard me say it." Me: "Um. I just got here... so, I just need to know which line to get in." Lady: "Like I said, I just said it over the loudspeaker. Me: "Like I said, I just got here, so I didn't hear your first announcement." Lady: "Again, if you were listening you would have known. (Points to a growing line and proceeds to help the next person.) While I'm waiting, the people to my left start piling into their bus. A few minutes later, about five pile in behind me, frustrated, and said that Ms. Friendly had directed them into the wrong section. Who know that random pointing wasn't an explicit instruction. Our driver wasn't any better. We actually saw her leave someone at a stop along the way. Seats aren't ideal and if the person wants to lean back in front of you, be prepared to have a seat lodged in between your legs for two hours. Yeah, it was only $15.50 with tax and fees, there was wifi and outlets, but if you can find a time that fits your schedule, 100% take Amtrak instead. At least they're friendlier and a little more organized. But if you like surly people that could care less if you make it out, then you'll love it here.

This post has everything to do with cleanliness. I'm posting the women's bathroom because i was there to use it a few weeks ago and it hasn't been clean since then. It looks like splatters of ketchup on the floor near the toilet that no one has bothered to clean up. If i have to travel often with them i don't wanna have to use their bathroom knowing no one is cleaning the bathroom

I will NEVER travel Greyhound Bus ever again. My friends and I purchased round trip fare from our hotel in Atlantic City to New York City for a day trip. The bus picked us up right on time early morning. We had a beautiful time in New York. We made our way back to Port Authority at 2pm where bus was scheduled to pick us up at 3:05pm. We stood in line for an hour and a half before anyone came out to let us know what was going on. All they said was Greyhound was experiencing delays and apologized for inconvenience. We stood in line foe another hour when a Greyhound bus driver came in and stated it was going to be a while so we might as well take a seat. When we ask asked how long is a while? He said an hour or two. At this time we had already waited 3 1/2 hours. The bus never came until 8:00pm. After waiting 6 hours and 2 1/2 bus ride back to hotel we finally made it back by 10:15 pm. The bus driver was nice enough and got us back safely however this was the worst experience traveling and I will NEVER travel Greyhound again!!!

I purchased a ticket for a friend of mine. Said friend decided that they weren't going to come and told me this 10 minutes after the bus was scheduled to leave. I called customer service about a refund and they told me there is a no refund policy on tickets and the most they could have done if I had called them 20 minutes prior to departure was give me a voucher for another ticket... I asked for a supervisor and the agent told me basically not to bother because the supervisor would say the same thing.The supervisor told me the same thing as the representative stated she would. I asked for a manager and I was told there were no managers on sire. I have been in the customer service industry for over 20 years and I know that there is no policy that is set in stone and I also know that saying there is no manager to talk to is a bold face lie because there is always a manager on duty it's just the supervisor trying to keep the issue from escalating above them for containment purposes. She advised me to go to the website and fill out a complaint and ask for a refund which I did and once again I was told no. Clearly greyhound is so desperate for money that they will take yours even if they don't render services to you which I am pretty sure is a crime. My advice is fly or drive don't use these thieves.

Greyhound is perfect if you're broke! I love greyhound one way to LA is $29+tax, so good (online)! I've never had a problem with their costumer service. It's simple, treat people the way you want to be treated! They deal with hundreds of people a day. I would be rude too if you were rude to me! Shiiiiiit! Anywho,, the building is easy to find. 9mins away from bart. Very clean inside the building & buses. The security are always nice & very helpful. I would recommend will all. A lot faster & you don't have to deal with people trying to buy their tickets last minute. The kiosks are easy, VERY SIMPLE. A donkey could use it. I always ride express so I'm talking for the express buses. The buses are always so clean, you can smell the cleanness! The seats are very spacious. They have plugs for your phones or whatever you need to charge. They also have wifi :D I love riding express bcus I can put my seat back & not disturb the person behind me!!! I sleep very comfortably. I meet all types of different people. Greyhound is so efficient! I can sleep & when I wake I'm there! Sometimes they even get to LA faster then planned. Lol

The bus was packed to the max during Covid, so clearly social distancing is sadly not a priority for Greyhound Lines. I have never experienced a bus line with such cramped leg space before, and I'm only 5'9" tall. Miserable if your trip is a few hours from SF to LA.

Did Greyhound get me from point A to point B? Yes. For this it deserves 3 stars. It also got me from SF to LA for $49. Can't beat that. Now, the reasons it didn't get 4 or 5 stars: 1 - the buses are dirty. 2 - unfortunately Greyhound attracts people that are dirty. We all have our days but I don't want to spend 8 hours on a bus next to someone who hasn't bathed. Way to get around this is to travel with a partner so you have control over who sits next to you. If you do this, you're golden. 3- The website advertises buses with wifi and electrical plugs but the one I got on was the same type of bus I used 10 years ago. I felt misled by Greyhoudn. Complete anomalies to this trip compared to other time I have used Greyhound was one person threatening the driver while driving and a group of passengers threatening a passenger for snitching on them to the driver. Both situations were resolved but both nearly ended in violence. Just know that you're not flying on a plane and shit gets real very quickly. If you're ok with that, Greyhound is for you. I still haven't boarded the bus. I booked 11pm bus. It's 12.30 am. They overbooked, so had to wait. Seriously the buses in India are much better. Horrible journey. You can see only drunkards travelling by this bus.

This bus route from SF to Sacramento was nice, the driver was very Informative when I asked about where to get the bus and when I got off to Transfer she was helpful telling me where to go to catch my next bus. The station seemed nice and I was only there for about 5 min, looked nice and staff was nice.

We are very disappointed with our latest experience with Greyhound. We bought 3 $100+ tickets for 3 passengers to travel from Maryland to Massachusetts. These tickets were for a double-decker bus to pick up! Our passengers were at the station at 6 am waiting for the bus. When the bus arrived it was a single story bus and we were informed that there was no room for our passengers. We were told to wait until 4 pm for another bus to "possibly" pick them up. We were given no guarantees! Additionally, our tickets were refused a refund. This was over $300 that we were screwed out of and had to provide alternate transport! Greyhound is extremely unprofessional, it took 3 days for "customer service" to respond. I will ensure that my company never uses Greyhound again!

This is what Greyhound sent me today Via email: Baggage change Effective 12/13/18 The good news is that you can now travel on Greyhound with up to 3 bags! The first bag is free and the second and third bags are $20 per bag. "These crooks are now charging $20 just for a second bag where before it was free as long as it was under 50lbs. C'mon people start voicing your complaints against this flat out greed or else they will keep taking advantage of their customers.

I had to go to Los Angeles for an event and honestly I wasn't in the mood to drive myself. Whenever I need to go to Southern California I drive myself but this time the $30 ticket was very tempting. It took eight hours to get to Los Angeles so it was a pain, but the bus was empty so I could use to seats and take a nap. The bus also had internet but most of the time the signal was really bad so I gave up after an hour. Taking the bus was a good decision, although the vehicle wasn't the most modern one I have to admit that it was better than I expected. After all I really can't ask for more when paying such an amazing fare.

My daughter had to wait on the station last night in San Francisco for three hours!!! delayed, no apologize no money back. She what's your schedule to arrive in Vegas today 1:30 PM they not going to arrive until 7 PM !!!at because the reckless driver stop every second to talk on the phone for 30 minutes disrespecting completely all the passengers..... I call customer service if they transfer me to four people. They were on polite very impatient, the less you wanted I spoke follow report. It was very arrogant he finally apologized to me because I told him that he was missing the part that my daughter was sitting on the station for three hours delete and I pay the hotel issue only going to arrive after 7 PM!!! This is my first yelp review ever, but this was so bad I feel obligated to share. I purchased round-trip tickets to pick up at will call. -$68 When I went and picked them up, I was given (what I thought was) my departure ticket. So, I get to my destination, have a good vacation, and then arrive back at the greyhound station for my return leg. This is where I find out that the departure ticket was really both my departure and return ticket. Well, I happened to throw the ticket out when I arrived like most people. No biggie, though, right? I'll just tell them the misunderstanding and that'll be that. No, no, no. The woman at the counter would not let me board unless I REBOUGHT my seat. Yeah, you heard that right. My name was in the computer. They were expecting me, but because they couldn't reprint my ticket like most companies, it was like I was in limbo. No small fee to reprint my boarding pass, no chance to email me the tickets again so I can reprint them - nothing the woman could do other than hold a stone cold "try me" look while I reluctantly pulled out my credit card to re buy my seats. Couldn't take the anger out on her, it's Greyhound's shit policy, she's only enforcing. Anyway, I contact customer service, get passed around for an hour and finally tweet at greyhound threatening a review on sites like this every 24 hours until my issue is resolved. What happened to me is borderline extortion; making me rebuy my seat, when they could've just reprinted my tickets. It's not that hard. I hope you read this, Greyhound. I am getting my $68 dollars back.

When it wasn't downright terrifying, this cross country experience has been awful. Our first driver got lost THREE TIMES in the middle of nowhere at 2am. Now we were told the a/c does not function while we are going thru the hot desert. :( I have heard many passengers say, "Never again!" Just praying I make it home in one piece. Just being honest.

I didn't like the way one of the employees on the phone spoke to me. Stephanie (If I remember her name correctly) was very rude and condescending. She talked to me as if I'm stupid and that I am incapable of understanding how Greyhound sets its prices or its policies or whatever. Perhaps the customers are "stupid." But Greyhound staff should remember the industry they are working in, and part of it is about making their customers feel that they are heard and helped. I regret getting services from Greyhound, and Stephanie's treatment made my misery worse. I guess Greyhound is some kind of an industry behemoth that there's no choice but to take their crappy customer service.

They had no bus for us, we left an hour after schedule and watched the next bus leave before us. Very bad customer service too since not only was our bus very late, but the driver didn't seem to care. On way back, no indication of where to line up. Very long line to even ask. Could not hear the announcements due to very bad PA system. I had to argue with the employee who was ordering all of us around with attitude. Then he tried to sick the security kid on me who looked like a deer in the headlights. In my opinion, very bad customer service. At least have signs up that tell you which door to line up in front of. Never again!

Incredible employees at this Greyhound location. I had just missed my bus to Sacramento today two associates helped me brainstorm all of the ways I could still make it to my destination. One of them brilliantly suggested that I hop on a different bus leaving right when I got in, hop off at Oakland and catch my bus. I am touched/impressed by the kindness, intelligence and graciousness of the staff here. Thank you all very much! You are appreciated.

Worst experience ever. Went from San Francisco to Las Vegas. The driver was extremely rude and the a/c extremely cold. I spent the whole ride thinking about a way to get out of that bus.

Paid 80 dollars for a bus ticket, bus is 8 hours late and still on the station no one can answer my concerns and they say they aren't responsible of providing any Accomodation or food voucher for this huge delay. AVOID GREYHOUND!

This is the worst bus line to travel with the people are rude, they charge you for everything if could give them a 0 I would I had to pay for 4 tickets one way because the lady didn't know the system to verify by email if you want to use greyhound i dont think you should unless you want to pay a boatload of money for a 2 hour drive

(07/29/16) Greyhound does it again!! If you know the bus is going to be late don't wait 30min after the fact to announce it. And of course there is NO compensation for your time....clearly greyhound has no regard for their customers time. There is obviously absolutely NO oversight at this location and in dire need of new management! The MEGA BUS may have its shortcomings but it's a straight shot to Sacramento from San Francisco and vice versa, no stopping at Oakland or Vallejo. Plus the Mega bus has a better track record of arriving and leaving on time!!! Use greyhound as an absolute last resort!!! You've been warned! (3 months ago) This place is horrible. If you are ever in a time crunch do not take greyhound. It is always late and the worst part... i.e. I was scheduled for 5:15pm from San Francisco to Sacramento and the bus was late, I thought I missed it and it took the staff 20min to finally announce it while I was waiting in line to inquire about it. This is an unacceptable practice and there should have been a courtesy notice that the bus was going to be late before the time of departure. Now, because there is another departure at 6:30pm they want to group the 5:15pm group to the later one if the bus get there anytime after 6pm!! This is absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. Luckily the bus showed up right before 6pm.. I would highly highly HIGHLY suggest you take the mega bus, although it has its flaws it's a straight shot to Sacramento and therefore faster as well.
