Las Vegas’s Best Breakfast Restaurants

"For unique pancake creations and a full roster of plentiful breakfast and lunch specials, all three of the very popular Griddlecakes locations are open daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sure, you can find stacks of pancakes loaded with fruit, Nutella, and whipped cream. Or go for a more robust breakfast with a skillet of eggs and potatoes with endless combinations of vegetables and meat. Order it with a side of biscuits and gravy." - Janna Karel

Griddlecakes debuts indulgent breakfasts in Spring Valley - Eater Vegas

"Griddlecakes, operating since 2008, is a popular breakfast and lunch destination. The restaurant has introduced its fourth location in a 2,299-square-foot space in Spring Valley. Known for its elaborate pancake dishes, the venue offers a lengthy breakfast menu served all day, including omelets, waffles, French toast, and more. The new location is situated five miles northeast from its Fort Apache Road location, with other outlets in North Las Vegas and on Eastern Avenue. It replaced an Einstein Bros. Bagels coffee shop and shares a building with a Dairy Queen." - Bradley Martin

Google
I had 2 huge gluten free griddle cakes with added strawberries for 17 bucks. They were delicious, filling, and kept me going for 15,000 steps as we tackled perusing the strip. Waitstaff were very friendly and the vibe of the restaurant is "Aloha modern diner" as we felt like we were back in Honolulu. My husband had a chicken, spinach, mushroom, homefries and feta skillet with 2 eggs and it came with choice of side (he picked biscuit and gravy). He almost finished it and said it was great! Perfect spot to fuel up for a long day ahead.

Google
Inconsistently cooked meal. Potatoes were hard but crab cakes were burnt. The service was phenomenal and the only reason this is a 4 star review, wouldn’t return. The fresh squeezed orange juice was super delicious but super pulpy.

James Strickland

Google
I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. After, Yes After, we ordered coffee, our server pointed out that today was the Free Coffee Daily Special (Wednesdays). That was a $7 saving for my wife and I. The food was properly prepared, hot, and very tasty. Met our expectations. The restaurant was clean, had decent background music at a reasonable volume, and the staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

Google
This was the WORST customer service experience I’ve EVER had. From the moment I sat down, I politely let the waitress know I was ready to order. She snapped, “I’m not ignoring you,” and then proceeded to ignore me anyway. She spent most of her time sitting down, chatting with another customer right next to my table—not working, not checking in, not even noticing when I was clearly trying to get her attention. She’d eventually come over like nothing happened, then go right back to socializing. It felt deliberate, rude, and completely unprofessional. And let’s not even talk about the entrance—there’s a sign that says “Please wait to be seated,” but the moment you walk in, she tells you to “sit anywhere there’s a menu.” So… no greeting, no direction, no welcome. Just sit down and figure it out yourself, I guess. I will NEVER step foot in this restaurant again. Ever. I don’t care how the food tastes—if there’s no basic respect, I’m not staying. Let this be a PSA: From the second you walk in, prepare to be met with the opposite of hospitality. Inhospitality. Disrespect. A total lack of care. Go at your own risk. Especially if you’re not one of her regulars—because everyone else might as well be invisible.

Google
Absolutely delicious. Had 'The Lover', these griddlecakes are plate sized!! It was absolutely divine I damn near wanted to propose to it. Their gluten free waffle was also delicious, highly recommend if you're gluten intolerant.

Google
Let me start off by saying the staff was very nice. I'm sad to say that the food was horrible. The pancake was tasteless, flat and hard as leather. My friend ordered the eggs benedict and he said it smelled funky. Then he said it tasted weird. So I took a bite and it tasted really bad. The ham was disgusting and hard. We both agreed to return the dish. They said because we ate some of the potatoes that they'll only refund half the price. I'm giving you a 1 star because your establishment is literally called "griddle cakes" and your pancakes are terrible. The owner should be ashamed and learn how to make a quality pancake. Also if this was my business I would have refunded the entire meal. But I guess that's why the place had no business. I'll never go again.

Google

Google
I recently visited Griddlecakes and had an absolutely amazing experience. The waiting staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for first-time visitors like myself. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent suggestions based on my preferences. The skillets were outstanding - cooked to perfection with a great blend of flavors. But the real star of the show were the pancakes, specifically the Bluejay. It was a heavenly experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Griddlecakes. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is outstanding, and the overall experience is top-notch. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Griddlecakes.

Yelp
This is my second time at Griddlecakes but first time at this location . They have an amazing ambience and space . As a gluten intolerant person , it is great to have the option to have pancakes or waffles like everyone else . The selection of plates and toppings are great . The service was amazing . Our server was so kind and had an amazing personality. If you're ever in Vegas, take a moment to go off strip to a great place B

Yelp
I love everything about this restaurant! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, they make you feel like family. The food is always amazing, there is nothing I would want them to change. The only thing missing from the menu, is loco moco. I try to come at least once a month, most times more. Thank you to all the staff at the South Rainbow location for making the restaurant the best in spring valley!
google avatar

Julisa W.

Yelp
We have been here before and it's hard to find a restaurant you want to repeat because of all Vegas has to offer! We took a friend from out of town and she said the pancakes may have been the best she had ever had. Veggie omelette add jalapeños was flavorful. The biscuits and gravy were good! But not anything super super special. The pancake we ordered for the table was a hit. We love this place!
google avatar

Yelp
Located on South Rainbow. Large parking lot. Large dining area with tables that seat 2-10. Fountain machine for refills. Menu covers everything from omelettes, pancakes, eggs.

Yelp
my girlfriend and I went here recently, and I had the churro waffles. They were excellent and I cleaned my plate.

Yelp
Great food and service had an egg breakfast with ham steak . Eggs cooked perfectly and ham steak was a little small, but flavorful. We will be back

Yelp
You walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The menu is packed with classic breakfast to lunch. Their pancakes are fluffy and huge size portion enough to share. The waffle w strawberries was delicious too! With the warm syrup... Chorizo scramble was super caliente!!! So spicy but sooo good! What sets Griddlecakes apart is their service is attentive without being intrusive. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is a must-visit spot! Arrived early since it tends to get very busy too! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Ordered the gordo skillet. Was good. They sell Coke products which is always great. Biscuit and gravy was awesome. Waitress and waiter were both awesome. Wasn't that busy and quiet with no screaming kids. Every table was cleaned promptly as customers were leaving. Pretty amazed at the cleanliness of the bathroom itself.

Yelp
If you're a fan of lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes, this is the place for you. The pancake is fluffy, the blueberry sauce wasn't overly sweet (didn't even have to use syrup) and the whipped cream was so light. The portion size is generous and the service is always friendly. It is open seating, but still doesn't get too loud. It can be packed, but definitely worth the wait. Always looking forward to the next time we visit. Absolutely would recommend.

Yelp
Ordered the Arizona skillet, the manager brought out an extremely overcooked dish, the hamburger was crunchy and tasted like charcoal. You could see it was overcooked, and they still served it. Won't go back, wasted my money.

Yelp
This place is actually good. I was not expecting anything from it to be honest with you. The people are friendly. They're mostly content yeah they served you something to drink right away and gave you enough time to look over the menu. They don't bug you when you're eating, they make eye contact to make sure you're fine. It's a cool place. The flavor of everything is really good. My nephew ordered Sunny side up eggs they were else splash bit too runny but other than that everything was pretty tasty.

Yelp
Leaving the Vegas strip, we didn't want to hassle finding a breakfast restaurant, so we turned west on Flamingo to find something down the road. We found Griddlecakes. This is a local restaurant with great food and greater service. Chris was our waiter and we were efficiently served and entertained. I dad the Philly Skillet plate and couldn't finish the meal. And good coffee, what more could one ask? We will be back!

Yelp
Little hidden gem in the desert. I ordered Strawberry Cheesecake Griddlecakes and the wife ordered a Cobb salad. Everything was served fresh and timely. Great place!

Yelp
After going to the Bellagio to see their spring display, I stopped at this Griddlecakes for breakfast. I had been to another location of theirs, but this was my first time here. It was about 7:15 AM and there was no one there. Two people stopped by for take out but other than that, things were quiet and I was the only customer. My server was Tony and he was very good. Had there been a number of people there, I am sure my service would have been as good. After looking over the menu, I ordered the Meat Lovers Scramble, listed under their menu section as a house special. It consists of bacon, sausage, and ham scrambled with eggs over home fries, and topped with shredded cheese. It's also served with two biscuits and gravy. The breakfast was very good! Pieces of sausage and bacon were plentiful. The ham tended to get lost a bit, but that was OK. The scramble was very different for me as I tend toward Bennys or omelettes. My coffee was refilled several times. A pleasant and tasty breakfast and then I was on my way home.

Yelp
I love griddle cakes so much and it has always been one of my favorite restaurants to take my friends and dates to since I was very young! I get so addicted to the waffles that I always have to come back for them!!

Yelp
Ended up on this side of town with my wife, very nice place, excellent service, food was top-notch

Yelp
Had the MOST amazing gluten free waffle and my husband had the German chocolate griddle cake. The food was so delicious!

Yelp
My wife and I were on the hunt for good...I repeat good gluten free pancakes and we were so happy to find Griddlecakes on Yelp. We arrived around 10:30AM on Saturday morning and were so pleased that there was no long wait to be seated. Our waitress Angela was extremely friendly and took great care of us. my wife ordered the gluten-free waffle and we also ordered eggs, bacon and coffee. The food was outstanding and very fresh and the food arrived quickly. The dining area was very welcoming and cozy. We will absolutely be coming back again soon.

Yelp
The servers were great. The food however...... was not special and honestly didn't taste good. I ordered the pancakes and they were slightly undercooked. Basic scrambled eggs and overcooked bacon. Will not be going back

Joerg R.

Yelp
Love this place, great service, delicious food. This is our go to place for breakfast. Their skillets hit the spot, they are a must try.

Yelp
Decided to try this place out for quick breakfast/lunch. They have multiple locations but decided on the Rainbow road location due to positive reviews and proximity. We arrived 45min before they were closed and they happily served us. The Restaurant is very clean, averaged sized and has many seatings available. Not as busy during this time (we came on a Wednesday afternoon). We ordered the chicken(breast) and waffle since the server stated they were just nominated for having one of the best chicken and waffle in Vegas. We also ordered the El Gordo skillet with biscuit and gravy. Our food arrived in a timely manner. Both entrees were pretty good size portion. I decided to try the chicken and waffles first without any syrup or butter in order to assess the taste. The chicken was tender, the breading of the chicken wasn't as seasoned as I would've liked. The waffle was just plain. However once I added the butter and syrup to both it tasted a little bit better. The El Gordo skillet came with carne asada, jalapeños, onions, home fries, eggs (over medium). The skillet was good and could have been more flavorful. It was a bit dry however we requested some salsa which enhanced the taste. So I'd recommend tweaking this entree with adding salsa on top or on the side. The biscuit and gravy was pretty bland, not seasoned at all. Overall, it's a lovely restaurant, with simple breakfast/food. The food didn't blow me away like I thought it would. However, the service was superb. Our server was very attentive, kind, friendly and made our visit amazing overall. I'd probably try other items on the menu if I were to return. If you're looking to try something simple and quick in a friendly environment, you could give this place a chance.

Yelp
I got the abc skillet with a side of biscuit and gravy. The gravy was mid but everything else was delicious. My mom got the monkey business griddlecakes that were huge with a side of eggs and sausage. Very sweet but yummy pancakes. My cousin got the eggs benedict and said it was good. Great prices and huge portions. Service was excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
All in all Griddlecakes was a good choice for breakfast. A little ways away from the strip but a nice drive and a good time to fill up gas along the way Griddlecakes is located in a small shopping center with Sprouts market being the main attraction. Inside Griddlecakes, the dining area was clean with booths and tables to choose from. The employees greet you when you walk in and are very friendly and helpful. Menu has nice choices but the main staple griddlecakes are the best option. The peanut butter griddlecake was delicious and highly recommend. The corned beef hash had a nice crispy outer crust, my favorite. Prices were fair and didn't break the bank like a restaurant on the strip would do.

Yelp
Fast Friendly Service. Waffle was good light and Fluffy will return. Wait wasn't too long
google avatar

Garret F.

Yelp
Overall, the experience was pretty good! The service was a little below average, but it was also Thanksgiving morning so it's to be expected because it was really busy and they only had 2 waitresses. The establishment isn't really big so I think on a normal day 2 waitresses might have been ok. They did have a couple bussers so that did help. On to the food...we had a veggie omelet with hashbrowns and ube griddle cakes, bacon, turkey sausage and cheese omelet with hashbrowns and sour dough toast, two eggs with sausage hashbrowns. All the food came out delicious. The ube griddle cakes were really good. They moist, flavorful and not too sweet! I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Portions were great and food was delicious. Here for traveling but would come again. Service was timely and the space was roomy.

Yelp
Amazing service, great menu, clean venue. Great enthusiasm and everyone piles in here on the weekends. I come here twice a week and always recommend to friends and family! Angela and Marisa are always willing to help! I leave happy every time I come here

Yelp
Everything about this place is great! The music, the staff and food. Definitely recommend visiting. The s'more's cakes were amazing!
google avatar

Janae T.

Yelp
The restaurant gave a small homey vibe. Definitely a breakfast/brunch type of vibe. Our server was so fast and helpful she answered all our questions with ease and with patience. Everything was MAGNIFICENT . My friends and I all split each others food to try and literally everything was tasty what was ordered was 1. A skillet 2. Lemon blueberry Griddlecakes 3. S'mores Griddlecakes 4. Churro Waffle 10/10 will definitely come back again in the next visit
google avatar

Yelp
Nice diner feel. Don't let the Dairy Queen next door, this isn't fast food. I was able to get a keto breakfast by asking for no gravy, potatoes, or the bread. My husband on the other hand is carb loading for the Rock n Roll half marathon this evening and his Jackpot plate did not disappoint! We had totally forgot about the pancakes on the side. Oh my goodness!! Plate sized and fluffy, they were slightly sweetened and the perfect carby accompaniment. The waitstaff were very attentive as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, very friendly server, comfy seats! I had a wonderful burrito that was jammed packed. He had a tasty Belgium waffle, bacon and eggs. Great prices for tasty food!

Yelp
Food was great but the customer service was amazing. We will definitely back! Colby is awesome but so were the only two ladies. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Comfortable seating. We were greeted immediately coming in and leaving. Prices reasonable. Highly recommend.

Yelp
great portions for the price, family atmosphere. would definitely come back. good food as well

Yelp
The food was delicious! Everyone was very nice and we chatted with the Manager whom was very nice and helpful. Lots of tables to sit at and the place was very clean. We will definitely be back again for more griddlecakes. Thank you 5 Stars!

Yelp
Vegas offers many good breakfast options. Griddlecakes is one of them. A local referred us here and described it as their "go to" for tasty and substantial breakfasts. The Hobo Skillet we split was filled with sausage, cheese, onion, fried potatoes, and topped with 3 eggs. It was as advertised. The place was packed but the service never suffered. This local franchise is busy with a short wait (about 15 minutes), but well worth the investment in time.

Brandy K.

Yelp
Highly recommend! Very clean ,cozy spot. I ordered the waffels made it combo with 2 eggs & 2 sausage. Everything was so delicious and the service is outstanding.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Grate tasting food. Easy parking. Make a reservation if you can. Might be a small wait. Don't get fooled by their automatic 18% gratuity added to the check and then leave more. Bastards.
google avatar

Stephanie I.

Yelp
First time here and I'm not sure we'd come back given the surrounding area with so many better breakfast/brunch spots. This was located off the corner of rainbow and flamingo. I think it maybe have been an Einstein bagel back in the day. It's next to a Dairy Queen. Some limited parking right in front but it's part of a plaza with more than enough parking. The pancakes were spongy and not at all light and fluffy. Pancakes definitely required a knife to even get a bite. We both made griddle cake combos One with I believe called banana monkey - pb, chocolate and bananas, eggs and bacon then the had the lemon blueberry. You tasted no lemon and we were just not a fan of the texture. Service was fair and our waitress was kind.

Kay L.

Yelp
Food was delicious! I was full but I found myself wanting to keep eating! 1st time trying this place. Definitely better then Babystacks down the street. Will be back!
google avatar

Jordan W.

Yelp
Stopped here on our way to the airport. There was a group of 9 of us were able to get seated right away. Service was great!! She ensured we had everything to enjoy our meals. Everything was delicious from the omelets, pancakes, breakfast burritos, burgers and wings!! Highly recommend stopping in super affordable!
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
This is a nice little place. But could get filled up quickly if there's a breakfast or lunch rush. The two times I've been here it's been about half filled. Food is good and simple but not overly exciting. I've never had their lunch, but breakfast is good, especially their omelettes. Staff is friendly and service is pretty fast. The only disappointing thing I had was the biscuits and gravy side.
google avatar

Brianna C.

Yelp
This place was fantastic! Our party had the pleasure of having Angela as our server and she was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions and gave suggestions as well. This location is a little small, but can still host bigger parties. Every single food item here is fantastic. We had a party of 3 so everyone ordered one of different items and we were able to taste everyone's food. This place is an absolute must visit for visiting Vegas and spending some time off the strip!
google avatar

Robert L.

Yelp
Really, really enjoyed my Hobo Skillet this morning. Sometimes we luckily try an off the wall breakfast restaurant to see what lies in store for us. The potatoes, onions and cheese were prepared like a homemade combo with 3 over easy eggs on top. Excellent texture and taste. Staff was attentive and made us feel welcomed. Not a fancy place but acceptable. Give it a try.
google avatar

Davina R.

Yelp
What a lovely place to go for a simple but super hearty breakfast in Vegas! It's a ways off the strip and gives vibes that locals would enjoy it! Prices are soooo reasonable and the portions are extremely generous! The pancakes take up the entire LARGE plate! Wow. Make sure to ask for your breakfast potatoes aka "home fries" to be cooked extra crispy for that perfect crunch! Only other thing to note... because this is a Vegas restaurant, there is no alcohol listed on the menu!! So this is definitely somewhere you're going to get a good full breakfast and then go do your day drinking!

Luis D.

Yelp
In my opinion this is the best place in town! Specifically this location. Always get treated like family. Food is always consistently good as well as the service. Our waiter (sorry idk his name, tall guy with glasses) is always very attentive and friendly, that is why we come here every weekend.
google avatar

Edwin P.

Yelp
It was really nasty, the food had no flavor and the price for mediocre food. Will not recommend this to anyone , the waiter was cool but we here for food and it was really nasty
