Best Steakhouses in Portland, Oregon | Eater Portland

"At this Beaverton steakhouse, owned by Carlos Cortes of the nearby Mexican restaurant Casa Lola, cuts of Angus beef hit the grill and come dripping with an herb compound butter, be it a porterhouse or a rib-eye served with coconut prawns. Any meal should start with the restaurant’s burrata salad, which comes with a surprising mint-chile vinaigrette. S’mores made at the table make for a fun and interactive end to the meal." - Ben Coleman

We came here as it was close to the neighborhood. There weren't many people, only one large group, at the time we went. We were able to get our order in quickly - a filet mignon, ribeye, mashed potatoes, and mushroom risotto. The steaks were properly cooked and came out reasonably quick. The steaks were decent. I did enjoy the mushroom risotto the most. Overall, it's a good local spot to get some food.

Really enjoyed our meal here tonight. Had the NY steak, cooked just perfectly. Mushroom risotto, veggies and ceasar salad. Plus coconut shrimp appetizer. Great service too. Would recommend.

07/22/2023 My husband and I went to this restaurant for the first time today after having wanted to come for a long time. We had the Clam Chowder, Caesar Salad, 16 oz Ribeye Steak with Creamy Mashed Potatoes on the side, and Wild Salmon. The server was very friendly and helpful; and he split the soup and salad in half each. Although it was a half portion, it was quite a large portion and very filling. The steak was tender and extremely tasty. We had a Jungle Bird🍸 cocktail, Red Flight🍷🍷🍷 wine, and a classic New York cheesecake for dessert. My one disappointment was that the coffee was surprisingly weak. 😓. The atmosphere was homey and relaxing. 03/05/2023 We went back for my husband's birthday. We had West Coast Cabernet Flight🍷🍷🍷,Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice🍹, Caesar Salad🥗, Beer Battered Mushrooms🍄, Porterhouse Steak w/ mushrooms and Onion🥩, and the Daily Vegetable. Today's server was courteous and friendly and, as before, he divided the salad🥗 between two plates. The Beer Battered Mushrooms were very tasty with good mushroom flavor. We prefer a steak with a good amount of fat on it, so we preferred the rib-eye from the last time over the Porterhouse Steak. The rain stopped halfway through the meal and we were able to spend a relaxing time watching the sunset.🌇

Shout out to Dena! Always remembers what we like and always quick with some fun humor! I love their filet mignon with mushrooms and onions and house vegetables! And that bread! Great ambiance! We love taking friends there for the first time and everyone always wants to go back! Hope to see you this Sunday Dena!

Google
Great place, minimal fuss and wonderful food. The entrance could use some better signage, not knowing whether to wait to be seated, or where to go. We dined in the outdoor tent. Good seating, and our Server was kind and friendly. She recommended the Cajun prawns with pesto, and it was prepared perfectly. Our Ribeye and NY were tender and delicious. The shareable mashed potatoes were flavorful and hearty. Dessert was a bit simple, but also good. Will be back again!

Google
Pretty over priced and the quality wasn’t there. The service was really good and really nice. Inside vibe didn’t feel like a steak house so it had its own feel. We had the rib-eye for 60 dollars and mage. A 3rd was really fatty. Since I don’t like eating fat, especially at a 60 dollars price point, I ended up spitting it out. After trying our whole groups meal was not included to have more. It just wasn’t that good. Having been to some amazing steak houses at similar prices I say this is close to the bottom of my list.

Google
The staff was pleasant and the restaurant looked clean and well presented, unfortunately that was the limit of what was good to say. The br3ad was old and hard, the clam chowder was lacking lams and tasted very starchy. The steak was served rare even after being clear, medium well done. The food in general was very bland, and the sauces were poorly prepared. This is a terrible restaurant for my likes. I will avoid.

Google
The thought occurred to me this experience is like Ruth’s Chris menu and quality but with a very personal touch. Great place for a dinner for a couple or two. The decor has been recently upgraded. All our stakes were done to the proper temperature and came out hot. The shareable sides were slightly battled over, as were the desserts. This smaller restaurant is tucked away but we will look to come back soon!

Yelp
I called ahead (around 4 p.m.) and made a reservation for 8 p.m. The hostess was super friendly and accommodating, especially since we needed a booth on short notice. Although it was a Wednesday night, I was a little surprised that there was only one table occupied when we arrived, but it made for a nice, intimate atmosphere. We ordered the porterhouse steak, the ribeye steak, mushroom risotto, shrimp scampi with pasta, wedge salad, steak bites, coconut shrimp, and a couple of cocktails. My husband really enjoyed the smoked whiskey cocktail he ordered, and we all appreciated the presentation at our table. The food was delicious, very flavorful, and the steaks were cooked perfectly (we like ours medium rare). They did it just right. Our hostess and server, Grace, was exceptional--attentive, kind, and graceful, which is exactly what you want when dining out. At the end of our evening, my husband overheard her taking a call for a takeout order. The customer couldn't pick it up because they had a flat tire, and Grace offered to deliver it to them, which made us appreciate her and the restaurant even more. Grace also took the time to chat with our 20-month-old toddler, who was happily babbling away, showing genuine compassion and kindness. I can't say enough nice things about Grace; she was wonderful, and her service alone ensured that we'll most definitely be returning.

Yelp
We really wanted to love this place. There are some pros for sure, but they're unrelated to the food. To start, the food is fine. But, not more than that. In fact, we were surprised that the taste was ok because the plates just looked so unappealing and/or boring. If the price of the dishes was halved, then I'd maybe give this another star just based on what you'd expect for the price (like a TGI Fridays meal for TGIF price). However, these dishes are pricey enough that I'd expect a lot more. We had a salad that was 5/10, coconut shrimp which was 5/10, and the pork chop which was 2/10 (the flavor was pretty good which was surprising, but the chop was 1/2" thick (at best), pale white, and had a sauce around it that looked like melted chocolate ice cream. For the money we spent, I'd much rather go to some of our better local restaurants or pay for an uber to the city for dinner. The pros: staff were great and so friendly! Not a huge wine list, but some decent selections and affordable bottles. We weren't rushed and the courses weren't rushed. We wanted to love the re-opening of this place and are so excited for great restaurants to come to our neck of the woods. Unfortunately, for us, this isn't a place we'll go back to.

Yelp
We've been here a few times. I always think the steak is amazing. This time around we came for their anniversary promotion. Unfortunately, they stated no where on the promotion that it was only one free entree per PARTY. I came with my fiance for a date night and we were both expecting to get a free entree (pictures posted in this review) and splurge on drinks and desserts, so we were a bit bummed to find our server telling us it's only one entree per table. Please make this apparent next time you want to bring in customers :( We are forgoing any future visits because it was clear you wanted to get customers in without being completely forthcoming and honest. On an additional note: the bread was stale, and the benches for the table flip up if you sit on the edge. I would highly recommend drilling them in so this isn't an issue. My partner got the free salmon and I got the filet mignon, which has always been great to me.

Yelp
Pretty bad. Medium Rare ribeyes were RAW. Poor seasoning. All we could taste was char. Place was empty on a Wednesday Night. Now I know why. Service was very slow.

Yelp
Wait staff was accommodating, and friendly but not overbearing. The atmosphere was intimate and warm, and above all the food was amazing. Everything came out at the perfect temperature and the courses felt well paced. .

Yelp
Another great bites the dust. We made the drive on a Friday evening from Vancouver to re-live the experience we had last year on my BF's birthday. Their site lists their opening time as 4 PM but they actually open at 5 so we sat outside in the parking lot for just over 30 minutes. It was empty when we walked in and the sweet hostess gave us our choice of seats so we took a secluded booth near the front. We knew something was different when we looked at the menu. They now offer different sized portions of items like clam chowder (was $18 for a bowl take it or leave it last year) and removed the 10 oz portion of filet mignon. Sadly, that was exactly what my BF wanted so he took a chance on the ribeye cooked medium rare and a side of mashed potatoes. I ordered the NY Strip medium rare with a small side of risotto. When they brought the steaks out on these cool hardwood cutting boards, the hostess explained that they'd been closed for about a year. All the staff we knew from last year was gone. They'd renovated the interior (though I couldn't really name what changed - it's dark and intimate in there with some cool aesthetic touches like the varnished recycled wood wall art just like last year). That change was clear when we sampled the food. Our steaks were definitely a good medium rare, but my entire mouth feel was charcoal with steak texture. I tried the ribeye and same thing. My BF raved about the mashed potatoes which were indeed creamy and delicious but my $8 risotto was just a dish of seasoned rice with mushrooms in it. I've both made and had risotto before and expected something creamier and with far less salt. We ate everything anyway in the interest of not wasting, but overall, the experience was a $100 letdown (the star is for the service and ambiance), and this will sadly be our last visit. :'(

Yelp
The drinks were absolutely delicious. I really liked each and every one. All the food was really great. The place was more casual than I expected, especially considering the pricing. There's certainly no frills here, just great food, drinks and service.

Yelp
We arrived at Grill68 this evening...they were closed for remodel! We were directed to Casa Lola (close by) a sister restaurant. We were treated very well. We were able to select our meal from both menus! The staff were very accommodating and helpful. I'm GF... no problem. Our meal met expectations! The ambiance wasn't quite the same as Grill68 but, the staff made the effort!! The remodel should be completed in October.

Yelp
My friend turned 50sum this weekend, he had mentioned that he wanted to try grill68 at some point. My other buddy and I decided to take him their for dinner. The restaurant is in a very unassuming plaza, they have an ample outdoor seating area. The dining area is nice, with a lot of dark features and lots space for various size parties, overall It's a nice setting. The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive. We were very happy with the timing of the wait staff, they were very helpful in selecting wine and various other drinks. We also shared a flight of bourbon, that was a special treat. I would recommend it. The food, if you enjoy a nice cut of meat this is a great place to experience. Each of us had our meat prepared exactly as ordered. The seasoning and taste were on point. The sides are amazing, I cannot say enough about the Cajun potatoes, it's a must try. They also have a great dipping sauce for the steak, not A1. We really enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend this place to anyone. Be prepared to spend a little bit of money but well worth the cost. We will be coming back soon.

Yelp
Service & ambiance were nice. Plating was pretty. Food was honestly mediocre. We wanted the $90+ steak for two. I went to the restroom & my husband attempted to order, but he was told they are changing their supplier & no longer offer that menu item. With such a small menu, it seems odd to not have an item anymore the weekend before Valentine's Day & not warn us before we try to order it. The pesto potatoes were amazing, I'm surprised we had anything left over to take home. Our mushroom risotto was just normally cooked rice with a few mushroom slices in it. Nothing like the other photos on here, nothing like any risotto I've had before... Cheesecake was delicious, but looked like a smaller portion than I've seen on here as well, about half the size. Their compound butter & bread was so good, I ordered extra butter for the steak. Shrimp was over cooked, steak was fatty & raw in the center. Really, really disappointing. I had to spit the only bite of shrimp I took into my napkin, it was like chewing on a rubber band. The flavor of the shrimp was amazing but I could not get past the texture. For the steak, ordering a medium steak & receiving raw seems unacceptable to me. For the $160 price tag, $190 after tip, I'm a little disappointed & probably will not be returning.

Yelp
Literally nothing about my dinner there was satisfactory. Drinks took 30 minutes to come out then I was asked if I would like an appetizer. 30 minutes after my reservation time? No thanks I'm hungry I'd like to order. Then when I order steak frites the steak comes out white like a pork chop cooked to hell on the inside on a "Cajun" baked potato with sour cream on it? When I mentioned I didn't think this was my order the waitress was very rude and said you ordered medium well that's medium well. NO a steak that is cooked until the meat is white on the inside is certainly NOT medium well. It was overcooked tree bark at that time. She also told me the baked potato was somehow Cajun frites? Not sure if she knows what frites are but it's not a baked potato, lol. I didn't want it remade as I was on a date and I just wanted to eat and leave but my date insisted. Waitress was visibly annoyed and took 15 minutes to bring out a new steak that did look almost medium well(still pretty overcooked) by which time I wasn't hungry anymore. The waitress made the whole experience MUCH worse than the food itself did which was a tough feat. (Get it, tough! Cause the steak sucked) after my $160 tab for 2 dinners and 2 flights of lemon drops I have decided to absolutely never come back to this dump. Oh, and ALL of the silverware/plates/cups were dirty to the point where I was scratching off old food from the plates

Yelp
My husband and I were both craving steak, and since our kitchen is under a remodel, we decided to go to Grill68 a few days ago and went back again last night! Both times ordered the fillet mignon, medium rare and it was Amazing! They start you out with some amazing bread in a little cast iron skillet with some yummy herb butter. We also got the complimentary mushrooms and onions - yum! Grace was very kind, observant, and accommodating - also offering wine that was not on the menu. The ambiance is very nice as well as the music (Sinatra, Martin). A wonderful experience!

Yelp
Not to echo other Yelpers but this place really does have amazing service. I believe our server's name was Molly. She was the sweetest. We were a party of 6 and we ordered mushroom fritters which normally came with 5 and she immediately ran back and brought us another one so everyone could try one. I loved how she anticipated our needs. Everyone enjoyed their food, but the real winner was the bread and herbed butter was the shining star. I could have just ate that all night long.

Yelp
Food was pretty good. The help started out OK, but slowly diminished to pretty much nothing. Beverages were slow to come to the table and after we received our meals.... Nobody checked to see if the food was OK. Nobody came by to refill our drinks. Both hosts came past our table no less than seven times without checking in on us. Our empty water glasses, empty wine glass, and empty beverage glass sat at the corner of the table pretty much the entire time during our meal. Might give it another try someday simply because my steak was pretty good.
google avatar

Yelp
We usually don't go out for steak when going out to dinner as my husband is very talented at cooking/grilling steak. But my parents were in town and they love a great steak dinner. This was by far one of the best steak dinners I've ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The beverages were perfectly crafted. The steak were cooked to the perfect temps. Loved the family style side dishes. We all left commenting that we can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Jeff E.

Yelp
Food is incredible. Try the stuffed mushrooms and the Burrata salad. Elaine is very attentive and an encyclopedia of wine knowledge. The steaks are better than anything you would pay 25% more for in Portland.

Ken M.

Yelp
This restaurant appears to be closed for good. We were able to make a reservation but when we arrived the lights were off and doors were locked.

Yelp
We arrived for our reservation and the lights are out and the door is locked. It appears to be closed permanently.

Yelp
We were excited to try this restaurant for an early Valentine's date night. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. We had reservations. Upon walking in, we waited for about 10 minutes in the entryway before anyone greeted us. After finally being seated, they sat us at a wobbly table wayyy too close to a table of 10+ abnoxiously loud guests. There were other open tables that they could heave seated us at. We sat at our table for another 20 minutes without a server even asking if we would like something to drink. Meanwhile , she was hamming it up and taking photos with the large party next to us. My husband and I were both really trying to have an open mind about this place but we decided to leave. As we were putting on our jackets, the server finally came over to us. We left a tip and left very disappointed. We have kids and don't get a lot of nights out together just the two of us. We ended up going to a restaurant down the road and did our best to recover from the disappointing experience. Will not go back.

Yelp
I had been meaning to try this restaurant for a while now. They are local and looked like they had a decent menu. I finally ordered some of their food for delivery and was pretty disappointed. Honestly, I had held off ordering from here. I am very particular about steaks and I have a place pretty close to home which serves an incredible rib eye for half the price for those times I am not cooking it myself. I got a deal through Ubereats and I felt adventurous and figured I'd try it out slow. I ordered the coconut shrimp which were delicious though, again, price. Here's the thing... I eat out a lot or get delivery. In the beforetimes I would go out a great deal but since sporting a hefty injury I have had to rely on a lot of delivery. I also go to pop ups, anything from a drive thru, food cart to chef tastings at places with Michelin stars and everything in between. I'm not a snob or cheap but it genuinely pisses me off getting mediocre food - even moreso when I am charged more than a stack of other places. I open the shrimp and the sauce has plastic wrap instead of a lid. Was this because I ordered with a discount code? Because I loooove opening up melting plastic wrap and having my fingers drenched in dip. Coconut shrimp is something I order for delivery constantly (they are medicine for my ruptured Achille's!) and melting plastic wrap when I just paid more for yours -little things like that piss me off because it's treating a person getting delivery like you don't care. The chowder was respectable though I was, again, thinking that for it being twice the price of other places I don't even get some Saltine's with it? I did get a container of bread that seemed like something just very generic. The herb garlic butter was overwhelming versus the underwhelming bread - maybe that is the idea...the garlic wipes out your taste buds? My entrée... I ordered the chicken dinner figuring I would have most of it for leftovers and have the chowder and shrimp as my dinner since this is what I do when grabbing delivery in between crazy hours at the office while plotting lunch and maybe dinner too for the next day. The mashed potatoes were great - some of the best I have had and I am not really that big on ordering mashed potatoes. That chicken though... was described as some type of citrus - and the skin was great. I took a bite to try it but genuinely wondering if they seasoned it weird or something. Then I really gave it a sniff. It was either horrifically overcooked or turning. If they sent me damaged chicken I cannot imagine how bad they'd torment a steak or maybe they just serve so much steak...or again, that assumption that the people who need to get stuff delivered probably just order pizza an have no taste buds that function? Throwing away a half a chicken was just sad - thankfully the next day was trash day since no one wants that smell! But this was also a huge pain in the ass since that was going to be my meals for the next day.

Rudy S.

Yelp
Place was understaffed, took about 25 mins for the server to take our orders. Order the wine flight which came out mid entree, overpriced for mediocre food.

Yelp
The owner did reach out but suggested that I don't know the difference between raw and rare. Let me reiterate that the steak we received was raw. I like rare but ordered medium for my guest. When the steak arrived it appeared medium rare at first but as we cut closer to the bone the meat was not rare, but raw. By then, it was too late for the server to help for two reasons. First, a re-cooked steak is never any good and second we had a place we had to be at a specific time. I should have taken a picture of what was not eaten - about half. I thought the server would have noticed that but said nothing when she cleaned away the dishes with a half-eaten steak that cost $98 (less $10 for the inconvenience of not cooking the steak right to begin with). The chef needs to learn how to cook a steak right and not undercook it with the idea that if it is still not right it can be recooked. They either need more confidence in what the do or get a Sous vide which cooks the steak to the right temperature every time!

Yelp
Came here on a whim today and it was so good. Our server, Alex, was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. We started with the sweet and savory drumsticks and those were so good and crispy. We then got the filet and ribeye. Both cooked perfectly and delicious and great cuts of meat. The the lava cake was so ridiculously good. The wooden tables and wine racks around made for a nice atmosphere that was relaxed and enjoyable.

Yelp
We came the other day for a lighter dinner as we have been wanting to try this place for a few months now. We decided to sit on the patio which was basically private to us up until the last 20 minutes of our dinner. We were told that it was to be redone but it wasn't bad to start with. We split the steak bites and fried mushrooms from the small plates and a grilled Caesar salad. The house bread and compound butter it came with was delicious; we had two servings. We actually enjoyed the compound butter with the steak more than the blue cheese sauce which came with the steak bites (my partner felt the blue cheese sauce had an egg-y taste to it. It was a bit reminiscent of hollandaise with some blue cheese in it. I would have like to see a more blue cheese-forward taste). The mushrooms are bomb- they'e wrapped in a crunchy wrapper like wonton paper and have a drizzle of melty Boursin on top. This was a perfect amount for two. The cocktails are pretty good but small. We look forward to returning for a proper, sit-down steak dinner (and maybe the table-side s'mores if we have enough room!).

Yelp
First time here and before I sound picky I want to say we really enjoyed our meal and will be back. I have always strived to be honest with my reviews and this one will be no different. The first thing that I noticed is that they were understaffed. It seemed as if it was 1 server and 1 chef. Maybe there were more people working out of sight, but the chef was helping bus and serve. I appreciate their hard work, but this won't work long term. (Maybe they had some call in sick?) The food- the appetizer we ordered was the stuffed/fried mushrooms. They were excellent. Cheesey, tasty and fried perfectly. Great job. I had salmon, - it was served over sauted vegetables. The veggies were as good as any I've had. The salmon while cooked well had a spice in the sauce I didn't prefer. It was cooked just right and I enjoyed it in spite of the spice. My wife and daughter split a filet. It was huge and well flavored. It was a little more rare than they would have liked- we didn't complain and ate it all. Just letting you know if it bothers you order it medium. Overall an excellent steak! My son in law had the flank steak. It was well seasoned and tasty and served with a twice baked potato. He loved the whole dish. Said his leftovers were great the next day too. The side dishes. The mashed potatoes were fantastic and a great complement to any meal. We were given an extra twice baked potato per an ordering glitch which i gladly ate. It was excellent too. The risotto arrived late with an apology. It was a little al dente' for me- but the flavors with the mushrooms was epic. The staff was very friendly and overworked. Hopefully this gets fixed as the food is good enough to come back for.

Yelp
Steakhouse right in our neighbourhood. This was in our list right from the time we moved into the locality couple of months back and last night turned out to be the perfect opportunity for it. Recommend booking a table in advance otherwise weight time could go anywhere from 30-45 mins depending on the rush over weekends. Ambience is nice and hats off to super friendly staff who served us. Coconut shrimp set the ball rolling as appetiser. Home made batter and fresh made was amazing. It came with a lip smacking sweet and sour sauce. For Entree we took a ribeye and pork chop. Both were delicious with the cook we need it to have. Rounded off with a dessert in "black beauty cake" which I felt was just okay. Overall it's a great local owned steak house which not many people know of. It's a hidden gem. Please do try this out

Yelp
This restaurant was excellent. Our server Elaine catered to a members dietary needs while at the same time recommending the best local Pinot Noir selection. The food was perfectly seasoned. The portion sizes are large. We will definitely make this restaurant a priority every time we are in the area. This was a great find for our group.

Yelp
I can start out by saying that the service is wonderful. Our server was very new to a full service restaurant but we loved how much he really wanted to learn and Molly is a great teacher. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. We started out with the grilled ceasar salad. I have to say the dressing is to die for! My mother had the lamb chops and I had the lamb shank, both were presented beautifully. We shared an a amazing bottle of Bordeaux which paired great with our meal. We both passed on dessert but the manager offered us a small sampling of their dessert wines which were a perfect finish to a wonderful experience. I will be back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
Oh my gosh, food was delicious! Beautifully plated. The wait staff was so attentive! Wonderful experience 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
Nice local spot for a dinner date. Priced like a downtown steakhouse without the view, but the food and drinks were delicious! Food is served a-la-cart and you can share a side or split with your date.

Yelp
We've been huge fans of Casa Lola for years now and when we found out they were opening up Grill68 in their old space we were excited. Carlos and team are really running a top-notch operation and I can't wait until we can actually sit down and enjoy the experience. Until then, we decided to order food to go and it did not disappoint. Here's what we ordered: Coconut shrimp Burrata salad Roasted chicken herbs Salmon Polenta salad Chocolate lava cake The food was hot, fresh and abundant. We seriously couldn't eat it all in one sitting. The kids especially loved the Polenta, coconut shrimp and, of course, the Lava cake! My wife is a fan of the salmon. I devoured the chicken and the Burrata salad was fantastic! If you're going to order out during these crazy times then do yourself a favor and eat really great food. I absolutely recommend these guys. They really care about what they do and it shows.

Grill68 is a lovely addition to the Beaverton food scene. Although they have been open for a few months they have had to make a lot of adjustments to their operations due to COVID so they are still figuring everything out. They had a limited menu at this time but I'm confident that the chefs creativity will produce an exciting menu when they fully open. The steak was delicious although a little more rare than the medium rare requested. (They would have graciously fixed the steak, but we really were okay with it being rare, especially since it was a really good steak). The Brussels sprouts were okay, but nothing special. The salad with a Thai spicy sweet pepper dressing was amazing as was the flourless chocolate cake. The only criticism I would have is the price point rivals a fine dining experience in Portland but the ambience was not up to that standard. I would expect the table to be set up with eating utensils and cloth napkins, but they just handed us a fork and knife wrapped in a paper napkin. Bottom line is this place is worth a try and I hope they will be able to attract the loyal following they will need to remain viable.

Yelp
Food was good but a bit overpriced for the quality. The old fashioned was average and could have been much better with a bit of a better mixology. The service was great at times and a bit of a miss at other times. Location was okay and with a few additional touches could be good.

Yelp
A steakhouse in the burbs? Why not!!! They've got a limited menu right now and no Happy Hour, but our meal was excellent and our server Hector could not have been more delightful. My wife and I split the Boursin stuffed Mushrooms which were deep-fried but the batter was light and the dish was good, if not a little bland. We then split the New York which was outstanding and cooked perfectly. We got steamed veggies as a side and they were seasoned nicely and an excellent compliment to the meal. It's not cheap, but the ambiance is lovely and the food did not disappoint.

Yelp
Smaller menu due to the covid nonsense. BUT SO WORTH GOING IN FOR. Came down from Seattle for the night and was looking for a steakhouse without a ridiculous wait time. Was seated quickly. Wine selection was 5 star in itself, I should have asked for and remembered the name of the glass I ordered. Possibly the best red I've ever had. Ordered the rib eye medium rare, was cooked perfectly. Got a trio of sauces to go with the steak, all were exceptional. Ended the meal with a flourless chocolate torte, perfectly balanced not too rich and came with fresh raspberries. Staff was very attentive and made great suggestions. If I had to get picky and try to find a flaw, the steak having a bit more caramelization and sear would've put it over the top of incredible, absolutely no complaints. This place is absolutely deserving of 5 stars. If I'm ever in the area again I'll be returning.

Yelp
I cannot tell you how much we LOVE Grill68 Steakhouse! We discovered them last year on Valentine's Day and have come back no less than 4 or 5 times (that's a lot for COVID-Hermits like us-lol), bringing other people to introduce them to this INCREDIBLE restaurant. The food is literally perfect every time, the atmosphere is cozy & wonderful, and the service is impeccable! If you're lucky enough to dine while Elaine is there and available, she's probably one of the most knowledgeable and attentive servers we've ever had! We always leave looking forward to the next time we're coming back.

Yelp
Four of us went to dinner last Friday, We were served by Molly. She was the best server we've had for quite some time. She was always anticipating our needs and solving issues we didn't know we had. I had the 16oz Rib eye, I always order my steaks rare. Tis steak was cooked perfectly. Two had the Steak "Frites". Both of these were cooked perfectly too. The last person in our group had the Salmon. She raved about the flavors and presentation. When it was time for dessert, we split the Chocolate Cheese cake and the Apple pie w/ ice cream. We will be back!

Yelp
Ultimately, for the cost, just OK. Cajun Prawns - $12 -- 5, very good prawns but would be so much better if there was a sauce made from the herb pesto to dip bread in - it would make the dish a bit more consumer friendly. Caesar salad - $12 - very mediocre salad. Couldn't taste the anchovies or any other distinctive flavor. Sparse parmesan cheese. NY Steak - $42 -- delicious, perfectly cooked to medium, but at $42, way too expensive. This should be a $32 steak, or keep at $42 but add a side dish and a veggie. Flank steak - $18 -- good, not great Risotto -- $5 -- good, probably one of the better deals at only $5 Dessert -- did not order because only had 3 options. Only chocolate option was a flame at table S'more bar (maybe fun for kids, but adults?) for $16.00. Definitely needs more dessert options.

Yelp
Visiting in Beaverton and my hosts insisted we have a meal here. Oh my goodness! Excellent service was only exceeded by the quality and taste of the steak I was served. Medium rare means medium rare! Loved it! Was delighted to meet the chef but surprised to find she is only 29! What a talented chef! I give my unconditional two thumbs up!

Yelp
We are really excited to have a new restaurant in the area and were so hoping this would be a good experience.... unfortunately it really wasn't... I understand they just opened, (we went 2 days after Washington Co reopened) and are still learning and we will give it another shot, but we were really disappointed. The service was fine, our server was very friendly and personable, but it was super slow...and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The presentation was nice and it all looked pretty. But everything lacked flavor.... the risotto needed seasoning, the Caesar salad had no dressing at all, just romaine lettuce, even the bread lacked seasoning and flavor. We spent $150 on two steaks which to me, seemed overpriced and unfortunately both steaks were overcooked. Mine was was mid-well in the middle and well done on the ends...and I ordered mid-rare. My husband ordered a rib eye which is pretty much the only steak he eats.. we would be willing to bet it wasn't a rib eye, had the texture of a New York strip, it was very grainy. The drinks are way overpriced, my husband had a simple rum & coke and it was $12! That is crazy for a well drink. Oh, and their panna cotta is loaded with corn...how weird is that??? Like I said, we will give it another shot, but I'm not too optimistic. We did try their delivery service before and didn't really enjoy it either, but wanted to give it a shot in the restaurant. I dont mind paying for a good meal if it's good, both my husband and I work hard for our money and hate to waste it when we can do it better at home.

Yelp
Stopped in on short notice and they were happy to seat us even though we didn't have reservations. Everything we ordered was excellent. The steak I ordered was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. Her pork chop was crispy on the outside but still juicy on the inside. Even the almond green beans were seasoned perfectly and still crispy. We were happy to discover this place and plan to make it a regular spot for date nights

Yelp
My boyfriend is a meat expert. The steak was the only highlight. My pork chop was tough and packed flavor. The sides were minimal. The price on this meal far exceeded the value

Yelp
Burrata salad with strawberries was fresh, delicious and the dressing had a lille kick which went well with the burrata. Steak was perfectly cooked and well seasoned and drinks were well made classic cocktails. Service was great and staff was friendly!. Definitely a hidden gem. Will be going there again.

Yelp
Very accommodating and friendly staff. Enjoyed my early dinner meal with friends. We are lucky to have a solid neighborhood grill. Bravo!
