"The popular breakfast and brunch spot (they have a waitlist with live wait times listed) with locations in Midtown, Buckhead, Marietta, and Vinings will now have a new location in Summerhill starting November 5. The breakfast menu includes chicken and waffles, Ms. G’s coconut pancakes, Caribbean Jerk shrimp and grits, omelets, and breakfast sandwiches." - Henna Bakshi

"While it’s far easier to slide in without a wait during the weekday, the weekend scene at Grits & Eggs in Vinings should hold a place on your brunch bucket list. That’s because the everyday diner usually has a live pianist on weekends to jazz up the place—crispy fried snapper and creamy grits paired with Songs in the Key of Life is the winning combo your weekend needs. If you don’t feel like breakfast (the coconut pancakes are a must), look at the meat-and-two menu for selections like ribeye, mac, and collards. And if the weather is warm, their spacious covered patio is a nice spot to take in views of the scenic lake nearby. invited to this restaurant by a friend. Although he usually visits the other location, my daughter and I decided to try the one closer to home — and it was nothing short of amazing. Black-Owned Business: Easy parking (just use the app — upload your plate number, and the app calculates the price based on check-in time). Since we went for lunch, parking was free for two hours. No Service Fee: A pleasant surprise! The food and service were both outstanding. Food Highlights: The fried chicken was well-seasoned, the greens were fantastic, the yams were clearly fresh (not canned), and the mac and cheese was perfectly cooked. Drawback: The only downside was the basic waffle served with the chicken and waffle dish. The menu mentioned a berry garnish, but it was just one blueberry and one strawberry. I would love to see a 4 side veggie platter for the ones that don’t eat meat or fish. Lastly, while the presentation could improve, many places that excel in flavor tend to focus less on aesthetics. We will most definitely be back! Will add photos later

I have been wanting to try this place for a while, I decided to go on a solo brunch on a Friday afternoon. Location: The location is in a cute retail shopping area, with apartments over it. Parking: theres a parking garage where you pay or you can valet. My parking was free and I don’t know how much valet was. Service: The service was perfect!! From walking in to leaving, I waited about 5 minutes but the manager or owner was friendly and made sure to find somewhere for me to sit. Ambience/Crowd: it’s pretty casual and family friendly. It’s a tight fit in there. Food/drink: The food was delicious! I had the shrimp and grits with pancakes, the only thing I would change is taking the shell off the tail of the shrimp. Will I be back? Yes! So many other things to try. And the service was great!

My 1st time here & it will not be the last time! There was a short 15 minute wait, the service was great! Our waitress made sure to check on us often even with the amount of tables she had. My food was hot & delicious. Portions were good. The violist was a nice touch to the ambiance of the restaurant. They had Cobb Co police there making sure it remained a family friendly experience. Valet was only $10. There is a bar & they sell their own lemonades & desserts. Will be back

Google
I’d give this place a solid 4 out of 5. The beignets were really good and had a good cream sauce with them. I had the chicken and waffle with a side of grits. The grits were really creamy but didn’t have much of a taste to me. The fried wings were really good! They were the highlight of my meal. The waffle was decent. It wasn’t great, but not bad. Sweet tea to drink. It was a bit pricey for what I got. My ticket was over $70. My partner had sausage gravy and chicken which is pictured. She gave it a 4/5 as the chicken was her highlight as well.

I can’t speak for the weekend crowd—which I hear is a big one but I went on a weekday for a work breakfast meeting around 8:30 AM, and it wasn’t crowded at all. They have a huge patio that I imagine is lively on weekends, but we opted to sit inside. The coffee was just okay, but the food was really good. Our table ordered the catfish & grits and the chicken & waffles—both dishes got solid reviews from everyone. Service was a bit slow, but the one server on duty was super sweet. If I’m looking for a breakfast or brunch spot on this side of town, I’d definitely go back.

Google
This was a great choice for brunch! The food, customer service, and the piano player… a 10! Our waitress was Madi, she was attentive, friendly, and checked on us just the right amount. Food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. If you haven’t been already I’d definitely recommend you check them out.

Google
I don’t even know where to begin—except maybe with the collard greens that changed my life. I stopped into this southern spot on a whim with my husband , and not only was I greeted with the kind of warmth you don’t find just anywhere, but they gifted me a side of collard greens “just because.” Y’all… they weren’t just good. They were the best collard greens I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly seasoned, tender with just the right amount of kick, and clearly made with love and soul. The hospitality here is as rich as the food. You don’t just get a meal—you get a whole experience. This place doesn’t just cook; they care. And you can taste it in every bite. If you’re looking for real southern comfort, this is it. I’d give them ten stars if I could.

Google
If you're looking for a spot that truly delivers on Southern comfort food, Grits and Eggs is a must-visit! The Chicken and Waffles were an absolute standout—crispy, perfectly seasoned chicken paired with fluffy waffles that had just the right amount of sweetness. It’s the perfect blend of savory and sweet! The Shrimp and Grits were equally impressive. The grits were creamy and flavorful, and the shrimp were cooked to perfection with a seasoning that hit all the right notes. Every bite felt like a warm, Southern hug. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made it a great place to sit back and enjoy a delicious meal. I can't recommend Grits and Eggs enough—it’s comfort food done right!

Yelp
Great breakfast spot in a convenient location! Location and Parking This review is for the Summerhill location; they aren't on Yelp yet but I needed to put this somewhere! Located in Summerhill, parking is located in a deck immediately to the left of the entrance. It is free until 6pm, and paid from 6pm-8am. Either way, you must register by scanning a QR code or via text. Venue and Atmosphere They have plenty of tables outside, but it was cold when we visited. The restaurant wasn't crowded (day after Thanksgiving) and we were seated immediately. They feature celebrity photos on the wall (not people that have eaten here, just famous folk) as well as a plaque honoring Hank Aaron and a piano decorated with painted wooden bats and "44" which is Aaron's Jersey number. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Food and Beverages I had a standard Arnold Palmer and the Crab Cakes Bendict. My date had the catfish and grits. While both were delicious, the crab cakes are a standout. They were seasoned and cooked very well with a good amount of meat. I always order Benedict when I go out because my attempts at poaching an egg have failed miserably lol, but I know I can come here and get an excellent meal. Verdict I'll be back, hopefully in the spring to enjoy the patio!

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place and what a disappointment it was. Granted, we went on New Years Day but still - how can an establishment say they're open on a holiday but be out of everything? They had practically nothing today. No cheddar cheese No peppers No OJ No shelled eggs No lobster tail No chicken wings I'm sorry but... what??? I didn't even know about them being out of cheddar cheese until I discovered my omelette had kraft singles inside it instead. The server failed to tell me they didn't have real cheese either, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it. She didn't even offer to take it back - which is fine, but annoying. But it gets worse... The server then has another table accidentally pay for our ticket - which was $75. So she asked if we could pay for their $69 ticket. We said it was fine, but when she brought the ticket it was $83! She did make it right by bringing the total down to $71 but still a mistake that should have never happened. We also didn't have silverware for the longest time, no napkins, no spoon to stir the sugar in the coffee and she forgot my limes for my Coke. The kids pancakes also were hard, making it seem like they were just reheated in the microwave and not made fresh. She also forgot the toast that comes with the kids meals and the biscuit that comes with the omelette. The beignets were good though. I don't know if I will try this establishment again. Food and service was way below subpar.

Yelp
Grits & eggs is great place for breakfast/brunch. Huge menu though so the quality suffers a little bit and I found a hair in my eggs! The fried chicken was great, the Mac & cheese was good and the grits were just ok. Biscuit was yummy, I asked for the sauce to be on the side. It came smothered anyways. It was tasty but a little too much for me. If I'm in the areas, I would try this place again.

Yelp
So I used to go to this location often when it initially opened. Food was amazing. Now, it's mediocre at best. Your restaurant should no longer be called Grits and Eggs when the grits aren't good. The last time I went I said..you know the food isn't as good but maybe a bad day. No, the food and service has gone down horribly and I will never go again...especially at the prices they charge. $37 for Red Snapper and Grits is insane. I ordered the avocado toast and my mom ordered fried snapper and grits and a ginger ale. Ok, server comes back and said "We're out of ginger ale" Cool, give me a sprite. She then comes back and said "We are out of snapper". Ok, fine my mom said give me Curry Shrimp and Grits. In addition to the flighty service, we received our food. Now we know what the menu says. Peppers and onions pretty much come on every grit dish in this place. They give my mom the shrimp and grits (5 tiny shrimp) no peppers and onions on the dish. They give me avocado toast and there are no purple onions. I said to the girl what the issue was she brings back the shrimp and grits with 3 peppers. Brings me back the toast with 3 white onions that looked like they dug them out the trash. I said, what is this and she said "Oh, we're out of purple onion" Girl!!!! All of the food had no seasoning and tasted bland. Forgot to mention I ordered a side of cheese grits. They brought me a side of cheese grits with a visible square of American Cheese sitting right on top. I also sent that back and told them I ordered Chedder Cheese grits. She never apologized for her slow service or for not having the actual food we WANTED TO EAT! I mean Costco is right up the street! You can go grab purple onion, ginger ale and snapper. Then she had the nerve to come back at the end asking if everything was ok. Saw my napkin sitting right on top of that toast (because I was done) and asked if I wanted a to go box. Whoever the chef is...doing a horrible disservice to this restaurant. Might as well go to Waffle House.

Yelp
I am not writing a review on the food as I did not even make it inside. The parking situation is horrendous. With prices being wha ft t get ei

Yelp
The beignets are a MUST. I could order 10 of them and have no shame. Dare I say better than café du monde? It was flaky like a croissant almost and buttery. Their biscuits are moist and with an egg on top, perfection. I had high hopes for the fried chicken wings and although it wasn't bad, it was the best I've had. Their potatoes are seasoned well but it was overdone so wouldn't order them again but this is a solid option for breakfast/brunch/lunch. Would definitely visit again. Not a place to dress fancy too which is nice. You can come pretty casual and feel comfortable.

Yelp
Them DEVILED EGGS THOOO so delicious! Service is good ! I wish their establishment is bigger so we don't have to wait so long but the atmosphere is also amazing. Drinks fire ! Go on ahead && try it out

Yelp
The best carryout breakfast! Just go! Ordered a few items that are pictured. The grits were so good, like super thick almost like polenta. Eggs were not seasoned but happy bc they utensils come with seasoning and can control how much seasoning I want. The cappuccino was *chefs kiss* The environment was warm & friendly. Customer service was top tier from start to finish. Not your average breakfast. Skip everything and come here. Worth every penny.

Yelp
Food Order: Pork Chops Rice & Gravy Mac & Cheese This was my first order from Grits and Eggs, and their food looks fantastic on Yelp and Instagram. They also have good reviews. Today may have just been a bad day. My pork chops were overcooked, and I could not cut them. The Rice was yellow, not the typical white rice you consume with gravy. The mac and cheese was delicious--very flavorful and full of creamy cheese. Price Point: $23 Delivery: I would prepare a more secure delivery method for courier services.

Tonya C.

Yelp
Nice clean atmosphere. The food was decent and the service was ok. Very affordable, not sure if I would go back but we had a nice time. They have a cute "Mocktail" menu. All of the drinks sounded delicious, I went for the blueberry lemonade.

Yelp
After attending the Alzheimer's/Dementia Walk, my cousins and I were looking for a great brunch spot. I came across this gem on Yelp. Now, I read reviews and decipher who's just an angry customer or not. This place had outstanding reviews. We pulled into a tiny parking lot and a very distinguished woman stood out front informing people about paying for parking (this is also a residential property, as well). I knew then this lady didn't play. We walked in and the experience began. Mrs. Jean, the call her; and Tyler were amazing. The energy from the leadership to waitstaff was impeccable. The food was great. Now, sometimes we should just leave collards alone. No fancy stuff. Just that southern bowl of pot liquor. Now, enter with class because if you don't the staff is going to hold down their bosses and the reputation of 5-star, red carpet service. Now, we had a few snags but it was taken care of with ease. I will definitely be back. Oh, they have multiple locations. But, this one will always be on my list.

Yelp
I was at my doctors appointment and wanted to grab something to eat. Saw them on Uber Eats and decided to order for pickup. I had no clue that all of this was built over there, but the restaurant is new and looks nice on the inside. The staff was friendly and they retrieved my food pretty quickly. I ordered the fish and grits. Added jerk sauce to the meal. I was pretty surprised at how good this was! The fish was crispy and hot. The grits were creamy. I have since then been back a few times and haven't been disappointed.

Azsha H.

Yelp
WOW this place was absolutely amazing !! I really enjoyed the crab hash! it was sooooo good and the service was the cherry on top! I plan on this being my go to, whenever I'm in town, it's so worth it.

Derek C.

Yelp
I'm from Chicago, in town for the weekend, and was looking for a place to eat breakfast when I found this place on Google. I hit the jackpot! The food here is so good, I went back the next day. I had catfish & grits one day and salmon & grits with shrimp the other. The grits were creamy and flavorful. I also had a side of their magnificent chicken wings. The staff is friendly and their teamwork is outstanding. You won't hear any of them say, "That's not my job," or "This isn't my area." The only drawback is the wait time on weekends due to limited space. If I lived in Atlanta, I'd frequent this establishment often. I'll certainly make it one of my stops when I return. I highly recommend this place!

JaPeera E.

Yelp
Very basic breakfast. I felt like the waffle was too thick and the other items were just bland. Probably should have tried the catfish and grits because it looked good but overall just another basic breakfast spot.

Lawrence S.

Yelp
Was immediately greeted as I approached the outdoor host stand. Chose to be seated outdoors. My server, Najerai, was very attentive and pleasant. Ordered the fish and grits with a side of Mac n cheese and toast. Ordered a white chocolate as well as recommended per Najerai. The Mac n cheese was 2/5 The Mac n cheese was just okay. Didn't taste like Mac n cheese that I am familiar with. It didn't lack flavor, I think it's that they may use different types of cheeses. The texture was more on the creamy side which I prefer. Would I order again? No. Would I recommend others try for themselves? Yes. Toast was 4/5 Texas toast style. It was alright, just with they had sourdough. Spread strawberry jam to make it all the better. Oh... it was toasted perfectly by the way. Fish and grits was 5/5 The fish was seasoned well. I'm picky when it comes to the breading of fried fish and this breading didn't disappoint. The grits were fantastic and enjoyed the sauce they had a top the food. Definitely recommend this dish. White chocolate latte was 5/5 Perfectly made. I usually enjoy coffees on the less sweet side but this latte was a little sweeter than I thought it would be. And ya know what, it works. I sipped slowly so I could enjoy it. Paying the tab was easy. They accept tap to pay at the table. I'll definitely be back.

Candace H.

Yelp
Great place to come for breakfast/brunch with a lot of menu options! Everything on the menu looked so good! I actually came in wanting breakfast food but ended up ordering the fried chicken wings. For my sides I got the yams and Mac n cheese. The entire meal was delicious! It's hard to get good Mac n cheese at a restaurant but theirs is legit! The beignets were really good but not your typical beignets. Our service was good and the food came out fast. I also appreciate that they have nice portion sizes especially since their menu items are priced well and not overpriced like a lot of Atlanta brunch establishments. I can't wait to get back and try more of the items!

Yelp
Time to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We love a good breakfast/brunch. I saw this spot on Instagram. The influencer posts are usually hit or miss but not this time. It was the real deal. Located on 699 Spring Street up from The Varsity going against the direction of traffic. I like the fact that it was very clean cut. An open dining room with all types of seating including counter top high or low seating. Good for those that cannot sit on high stools. We went online and added our name to a waiting list just in case there was a line. Thankfully we walked in and we're immediately greeted with a smile and seated. Our server Renee came right over and again greeted us with a smile and asked was this our first time there. She gave us menus for food and drinks as they serve cocktails and cocktails too. We started off with hot tea, a French 75 and an Espresso Macchiato with a solo shot. I was impressed that she came back with a tea box for my daughter to choose the flavor of tea. Love the selection. We were also bought some Beignets. Omg they were hot buttery and melt in your mouth good. The menu had so many different dishes. A little something for everybody. You could visit here 20 times and never eat the same thing. Fried Catfish And Shrimp W/Grits Fried catfish and grilled shrimp on a bed of creamy grits and smothered with our spicy parmesan sauce topped with peppers and onions Salmon And Grits $26.80 Salmon grilled, blackened or fried on a bed of creamy grits and smothered with our spicy parmesan sauce topped with peppers and onions Shrimp and Grits $28.40 Creamy grits topped with grilled shrimp and our spicy parmesan cheese sauce. We also had Fried Chickens Wings, side of eggs and pancakes. Everything was bomb good and they even gave my daughter a piece of cake for her birthday. Check them out when you have a chance.

Venessa M.

Yelp
I've been "talking" about dropping in here since this location opened. It was so popular after opening, the wait times were long and I am not a fan of long wait times at restaurants. However I met one of the owners a few weeks ago and she invited me to give them a try. I am so glad that I did. I walked up to the door at 3pm on a Saturday and one of the team members held the door while another enthusiastically greeted us at the host stand. We were seated immediately and a few moments later the server came by. Since it was our first time, she made a few recommendations one of which was the cabbage. I ordered the cabbage as a side to my fried chicken wings and home fries. The fried chicken was crispy and well-seasoned perfectly and the cabbage was absolutely delicious. My daughter had the burger and seasoned fries. She loved the cooked onions and shredded cheddar cheese on it. The only problem with her burger is that she ordered it medium and it was definitely well. Overall, the experience was a great one with delicious food and excellent service. I'd absolutely recommend this spot.

The TR S.

Yelp
I'm such a fan of Grits & Eggs Breakfast Kitchen! The food here is absolutely fantastic--everything is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. If you're in Vinings and looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

K S.

Yelp
This place had been on my list to try for a while. We joined the waitlist for breakfast to eat around 10 am. It is located underneath a living space building. Parking is paid in the residential garage. They may have had valet. When we arrived we notified them we were on the waitlist. We were advised that there was a wait to be seated and we would be seated shortly. The restaurant is in one indoor room and not a large area. They also had outside seating. It was quite noisy and tables were pushed together in some areas to accommodate a large party. It seemed somewhat chaotic and unorganized. We left and went to a place that has better organized seating with a shorter wait. I see this place has good reviews. I may order a pickup to try the food. However, I do not intend on dining in the restaurant. The vibe and ambience is not my cup of tea.

Shelly W.

Yelp
So I came here with my sister for our birthday brunch. They were out of the fish and was told it was on the way. After 30 minutes of waiting, we decided to get something else. Although we were disappointed, our server was amazing, she sent us an appetizer and was very attentive. Our food was delicious and atmosphere and ambiance was nice. I like this place and will come back again to try the catfish

Lorenzo K.

Yelp
I came here for my first meal on my trip to Atlanta. The beignets were amazing (very flaky on the outside, but soft on the inside, & served warm). My wife liked her waffle as well. I had the Cajun fried Catfish and Grits with Pepper Jack Cheese and it was so good. Hands down the best thing I had to eat during my stay in Atlanta! I highly recommend going here for breakfast. Staff was very friendly and parking was easy.

Jeanette P.

Yelp
My daughter and I were in the area when we decided to try something new, and I must say that we both were very pleased. The outdoor seating was very nice for the perfect weather. The hostess, manager, and server were all pleasant. The expresso martini with white chocolate was so amazing and my daughter said the apple juice was the best lol. Finally the food was fresh, hot, and oh so delicious! The grits were so creamy and the catfish was seasoned perfectly. My daughter enjoyed her bacon egg and cheese on the brioche bun (she finished the rest the next day and it was still amazing). Definitely will be returning!

Jabre W.

Yelp
They get 5 stars just because of the customer service. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere really cute and cozy seating. The food was amazing, the fried catfish was a must try with collard greens and mac n cheese. The greens had a lot of stems in them so other than that it was good. It also came with a cornbread that was really good. The catfish shrimp and grits was also really good! Overall really great place great vibes and great food. This is a must whenever in Atlanta.

April W.

Yelp
From the vibes to the food, Grits and Eggs kitchen is the real deal! I am only speaking of the Cumberland location although I hear there are two other locations. This is a black owned establishment but the crowd here is diverse. I ordered the blueberry lemon drop to start and the fried pork chop with macaroni and collards. The pork chops were a tad salty but they were flavored well. The macaroni and collards were delicious. The lemon drop was strong but the blueberry is also a strong flavor so it did take some getting used to. It appears to be a valet only establishment and parking was $10 which you could pay after your meal. Other than that we enjoyed our experience and I cannot wait to return. Highly suggest that you try this place out.

Lisa D.

Yelp
Chicken and waffles were great The chicken was well seasoned and service was very attentive friendly hostess and management try the gingerbread latte

Devin F.

Yelp
We visited Grits and Eggs in Vinings recently and, unfortunately, left a bit disappointed. Parking was a challenge--while the deck had designated spots for nearby restaurants, there were none for Grits and Eggs, which made finding a spot tough. When we arrived, the hostess didn't acknowledge us, as she seemed preoccupied with her phone. Luckily, a server eventually noticed us and seated us. I'd heard great things about the food and was excited to try it, but the deli case was empty, which was a letdown. We ordered coffee, but the server came back to tell us they only had decaf available. It was unclear if they typically serve regular coffee, but at a breakfast spot, we expected that to be a given. Ultimately, after these setbacks, we decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. We were really looking forward to trying Grits and Eggs, but this experience left us hesitant to return.

Kiara W.

Yelp
Tasty breakfast spot with a decent amount of coffee drinks. I had the sweet potato waffle with chicken wings. It comes with whole wings cooked to perfection. The sweet potato waffle was also tasty and fluffy. Will be back.

Lily S.

Yelp
Went to the spring st. Location but they don't have a yelp page hence here: Very average food: chicken was well seasoned and fried golden, eggs were too cheesy, and mac was a bit sauggy. They kinda forgot my grits and i had to chase down a waitress for it. Service was absolutely below average- had to ask for water multiple times and for every little thing: napkins, food container... We left with extreme food/ kitchen smell on our clothes and hair. Would not try again sadly

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Great brunch spot right outside of the city. Went on a Sunday afternoon. There was an hour wait, however it went by quickly as we sipped mimosas. The service was excellent!!! The server gave us great recommendations for food & drinks. The only downside is that they do not have bottomless mimosas and they close at 5 pm. I ordered the Catfish and Grits with a side of collards and Mac & cheese. The Catfish & Grits were excellent!! 10 out of 10. The grits were creamy and the catfish was seasoned and fried hard (just how I like it). This dish comes with a delicious special spicy sauce and peppers and onions. I would highly recommend. The collards were just ok. Not your momma's collards. I enjoyed the Mac & cheese, but I wouldn't order it again. Overall, this is a great brunch spot right outside of Atlanta. The food is good!! The mimosas were great!!! No loud music so you can actually hear your conversations. And no hookah so you feel like you're in a restaurant and not a bar. Highly recommend!

Jessye D.

Yelp
The restaurant is located in a suite on the first floor of a large building. Easy Parking - Free Parking Deck. Valet Parking Available. I have been there at least three times- always weekend brunch. We ordered the catfish and grits, Chicken and waffles, and beignets for about $39. Pros: Great fun and family friendly restaurant. Gives you laid back at the cookout on a Sunday type of vibe. No loud music so you can actually have a conversation. And the food is BOMB. Some places you go for the atmosphere or the service... but this place right here has all three. Cons There is usually a wait to get in. However they have an outside seating area for you and they text when the table is ready. Would I Recommend: Absolutely YES. I'm going back for the beignets Follow me here on Google Maps, Yelp, and @jessreviewss on Instagram for more

Angela L.

Yelp
This was place was near the Cobb gallaria. Super quick walk and delicious. I got there when they open and was seated really fast. Service was great. Waitress gave us lots of recommendations. She recommended we get the beignets and they were not wrong. The beignets were delicious, hot, and not super sweet. Probably one of the best beignets I've had in a while. We came as a group. Avocado toast I would say is the least delicious thing we had compared to everything else. It was good but we weren't a fan of the chopped avocado. Chicken and waffles was really good. The best part of this was the chicken. The chicken was well seasoned and moist. Fried catfish and shrimp grits was sooo delicious! Definitely order this if you come by!

Yelp
If the pictures don't explain how good the food is, then I'm not sure what to tell you. Lol. Even the service was amazing. I really like this spot for real! There's a great bartender who's name is " Sha'mar at the bar" catchy, lol. My very first waiter was named TJ and even his service was unforgettable. My second time going back I ran into him and it was nothing but love when me and my wife arrived. The atmosphere was great. The people the vibes everything was perfect.

Yelp
Way too slow. Be prepared to Sit down and wait a long time for the food to come out, even when the restaurant isn't full.

Yelp
Very busy not very big close seating. They do make from scratch so be prepared to wait. Everything was very good nice background music where you could hear your people at the table. Portions wonderful. Will be back.

Yelp
My recent visit to Grits and Eggs for Sunday brunch was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this place offered something special. First off, the free parking in the garage (at least on Sundays) was a pleasant surprise and made the visit hassle-free. Despite not having a reservation, we were seated promptly, which is definitely not the norm for a Sunday brunch in Atlanta! Our experience truly soared with the exceptional service provided by our waitress. She greeted us warmly and offered some fantastic recommendations, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. We kicked off our meal with the delectable beignets and refreshing mimosas, setting the stage for what was to come. For my main course, I went with my go-to brunch favorite, chicken and waffles, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The perfect blend of savory and sweet left me thoroughly satisfied. Meanwhile, my friend savored every bite of the Catfish and grits, proving that Grits and Eggs truly excels across their menu offerings. Throughout our time there, our waitress went above and beyond, checking in on us regularly and even engaging us in delightful conversation. It's rare to find such genuine hospitality in a dining establishment, and it made our experience all the more enjoyable. What stood out most about Grits and Eggs was its wholesome ambiance, a refreshing departure from the typical Atlanta brunch scene. Instead of loud music and flashy decor, this place exudes a cozy charm, perfect for bringing together family and friends for a relaxed breakfast. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Grits and Eggs to explore more of their enticing menu. If you're searching for a place where great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere converge, look no further than Grits and Eggs. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Umm...Yummm! My friend and I came here after work this morning! I had never heard of it before but im so glad she told me about this place. With multiple locations ITP and OTP, I will definitely be making this one of my go-to spots for breakfast/brunch. There is valet parking but also a parking garage where we were able to park in for free( I think because it was 8am) so I'm not exactly sure what the parking situation is like during peak hours. Anyways, like a true Georgia peach, I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was AMAZING! The chicken was seasoned so well and the waffle was done just right! Light crispy crunch on the outside and pillow-y soft on the inside. I don't know whose grandmama was back there making the food but she definitely put some love into it. On top of the yummy food, The service here was impeccable! All the staff were kind and helpful! Now that I know of this gem I'm passing it along to my other friends so they too can enjoy it as much as I did! See y'all soon Grirs and Eggs!!!

Yelp
The service and staff were top notch. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I'm not a sweet tea drinker but my friend found it so delicious he asked to see the staff member that made it and thanked him for it lol! I loved the variety of their goods and beverages. My food was delicious. Parking is discounted if you scan the QR code in the parking deck.

Yelp
Full disclosure - I am one that depends on reviews yet rarely contributes. Today I felt the need to pull my weight for a change. Grits & Eggs provided the perfect Saturday morning for my little family. My husband, 19 month yr old toddler and I had the best time trying out Grits & Eggs for the first time this morning. We were greeted and treated with smiles from the moment we walked in. May seem like a small thing, but it really makes such a difference when the staff makes you feel welcome and seems genuinely happy to be there and have you. With a toddler, speed of service matters and today was perfection. We ordered lattes and our little guy cheese grits immediately upon sitting down. Both were fresh and my baby ate every last bit of those grits. For our meals, I had the roasted veggie omelet, my husband got the honey, chicken and egg biscuit and we had to try an order of beignets for the table. Super fresh and so delicious. Shout out to our server, Tyler, who patiently handled our toddler mess AND made him feel like a special little guy. We will be returning soon!

Yelp
September 1, 2024 finally gives this place a try. customer service was 10. Didn't like that I had to pay for parking $10, they should validate parking. The wait time for Food is ridiculous. We wait a long time and you can see it in my picture. I don't think we ordered anything that will take an hour to come out. The food was great flavor was good. Coffee was very weak, I had a pumpkin spice latte, and my husband had a cappuccino, but we didn't taste any flavor coffee was just water down coffee with cream and sugar,

Yelp
Great place for a delicious breakfast. A good start with a ice latte with smoked marshmallow flavor with a side of hot beignets. Then feasted on southern classics like chicken and biscuits and mynwife said her plate was delicious with especially the grits. The place was a little hard to find but well worth the visit.

Yelp
Grits & Eggs Breakfast Kitchen isn't just a place to eat; it's like finding a second home and a true gem in your neighborhood. The food? Simply delicious every single time. From their signature beignets to the perfectly cooked omelettes, they nail every dish, every time. As someone who eats kosher, I'm always able to find plenty of options that aren't pork too! But what really sets this place apart is the team. Always smiling, always ready to serve. And let me tell you about Johnni--she's the heart and soul of my latest excellent experiences at the Windy Hill location. Her service is top-notch and there are few in this city who have as much talent as her when it comes to patiently anticipating needs. She always makes excellent suggestions and is always and authentic, hospitable person. Experience-wise, it's like stepping into a warm hug. The atmosphere is cozy, just right for starting your day off on the right foot. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a solo breakfast, it's always a good time here. In a nutshell, Grits & Eggs Breakfast Kitchen is where good food, great vibes, and a sense of belonging come together. I'm really rooting for this place and am soooo thrilled to see their brand scaling to new locations while still maintaining their consistency and feeling of home.

Yelp
We found the place on yelp and were not disappointed. The staff greeted us right away and we ordered coffee and beignets. We ordered the French toast with bacon and eggs. The food was great. The side of grits was the best thing we ate. The vibe was nice and the owner came around and greeted everyone. Nice touch. We will be back

Yelp
Delicious! Full bar for drinks! Full and fabulous menu. Grits are creamy and fabulous, as you would expect. Biscuits are the best I ever had. The menu is not limited to and far beyond breakfast and brunch.

Yelp
Every foods and coffee are good. Especially beignet was my best. The atmosphere was also amazing.

Yelp
Went a few times to this location, let me say each time the food and hostess do not disappoint! The music is 90s/200s R&B classics. I've went on Saturday during the mornings/afternoons there is an older gentleman that plays the piano. I had the Fried Salmon and grits, and the fried salmon is seasoned well. The second time I had the Fried Salmon with two sides. The sides I recommend: Macaroni & Sweet potatoes (the sisters of sides) *chefs kiss. Main entree: anything with the fried Salmon

Yelp
I can definitely understand the hype around Grits & Eggs. It is A+. Great service and food! I recommend going early because it gets packed! I had the 2 Pancakes & Eggs meal. The bacon was crispy, eggs perfectly scrambled with American cheese, grits had a delightful creamy texture, and the pancakes were a fluffy delight. This restaurant excels at crafting a classic breakfast with top-notch ingredients and excellent service. The executive chef even stop by the table to say hello! Highly recommended!

Yelp
First timer. Ordered the crab cake eggs Benedict. Eggs were more soft boiled eggs which are good but made the dish eat a little dry. The runny yolk is the gravy to eggs Benedict. I would eat here again and try something else. The menu has so many options to choose from. My friend ordered the jerk shrimp and grits and she loved it. Service was A+ and very welcoming.
