"Nestled on Noda’s main strip, Growlers Pourhouse draws passersby in with a UK-ish coze with snug booths and bar seats. It’s more of a chill spot, not too loud or too sports-obsessed, but still broadcasting big games. The raw oysters, the Reuben with bright purple slaw, and the Gruyere-loaded potato skins are refreshing takes on bar food made with ingredients from nearby Waxhaw, North Carolina, farms. They beg to be paired with any of the 14 craft beers on tap, like local Resident Culture’s tropical sour. Customers should try the hand-pumped, super unfiltered cask ale from a 1936 beer engine." - Kayleigh Ruller

Great had cut fries are great, one order will feed two. Wings were all very good. Had fresh raw oysters. Margaritas were top notch.

Had a great meal and time at Growlers Pourhouse in Charlotte NC. The service was stellar and the food was fantastic. The wings were saucy and crispy and came with homemade blue cheese dressing. The burger was cooked perfectly and came with shoestring fries- so crispy. The kale Caesar was really good too- just enough dressing and croutons. We also had a pork belly taco- so full of flavor. Beer selection was on point too! Will def go back!

Been a regular here for over a decade. Always great food, great drinks and beers, and great service. Always. The menu is a bit smaller and selective - but, everything on it is amazing. The soup specials, always amazing. Oysters of course are perfect. Wings are always top notch, and the pesto fries…. yum!!!! The service and vibe of the whole place is amazing. These folks are some of the best bartenders and servers you could ever meet. If you don’t leave happy and with a smile, don’t know what to tell ya!!!!!

Recently moved to NoDa, Growlers is a lowkey and cool environment. They have great house made soups and amazing wings! Definitely a place I frequent and would recommend!

Growler's Pourhouse (GPH) is one of my favorite places in Charlotte for their immaculate service, cocktails, food, and overall atmosphere. GPH is conveniently located in the heart of NoDA North Davidson and East 35th street right across the street from Protagonist (NoDA), Cabo Fish Taco, and right beside Crepe Cellar (which is soon to be closed). Growler's motto is "What we've got is simple: Craft Beer and Beer Food". Growler's Pourhouse has very moody, dark intimate vibe as you walk through their extremely huge 'Nordic' wooden door; kind of speakeasy-ish. You're greeted by a big round table to the left, in-wall bench seating, a long, high-up picnic like table in the middle with bar stools, and to the right is the curvaceous bar with bar stools. The service at GPH is absolutely on-point and HE was very attentive plus knowledgeable about their products AND MORE. I literally did not have to wait to get another cocktail because my bartender was phenomenal; Definitely top-notch service. I was extremely impressed. The food matches the service being marvelous and shockingly succulent and ambrosial. I had the absolute pleasure of devouring a couple of items on the menu (at an earlier date). I had one dozen FRESH oysters, wings (Wednesday special) which were juicy, crunchy exterior, and sauced up just right; and when they had the lobster roll, I ordered that as well which was all buttered up with an adequate amount of fresh lobster. Everything was prepared exquisitely and I HAVE/WILL be back to try some of the new(er) items. PRO-TIP: Parking sucks in NoDA but I always take the light rail and/or Uber/Lyft. Just make sure if you take the light rail, you take it back home before it stops running! LOL! All in all, Growler's Pourhouse is the 'Sugar Honey Iced Tea' and I would it to my family, friends, and now, YOU! I will continue to be a loyal client and they really do deserve a standing ovation for continuing to galvanize me. Cheers MATE$! ...::: TrizzyO_o :::...

Best wings I’ve had in Charlotte so far. Great drinks and food. Not a huge place so getting a table sometimes can be difficult, but worth the wait.

Yelp
As the name suggests, this place is a bar through and through, and the ambiance is definitely on par with that. Growlers had that classic neighborhood bar vibe. The bartenders and servers are always friendly and helpful, and the food is solid and just what you need to soak up the alcohol. My favorite cocktail is the mezcal paloma. It's such a classic, and anything with Mezcal makes me happy. The loaded potato skins are a solid starter. They are just big enough for two to share. I always find that it needs an extra sprinkle of salt, but other than that, it's delicious. For entrees, I have had the kale Caesar, fried chicken taco and Bologna burger. They are all delicious. The fried chicken taco is a bit messy, but all the elements are there, and it's flavorful. For the Bologna burger, I would request the Bologna well done and swap the Dijon for regular mustard, but it is good. Indeed, it is a great little neighborhood bar. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Food is great but the server took my food when I had 6 wings left. And I yelled at her but she couldn't hear me because it's to loud. And by the time I could do anything the wings were already thrown away.

Yelp
We were wanting a casual night out- Growlers is really good for that. It's lowkey- not even a hostess stand. We were able to grab a table with no wait on a Friday. I had roasted oysters; they were good but really small. We also had the pesto Brie fries. It was more than enough for two to share and they were tasty. The cocktails were strong and the music was a little loud. All in all, good casual spot for dinner.

Danielle L.

Yelp
Came here with some friends on a Sunday afternoon to grab some food and drinks. I had been to growlers a few times before just for drinks and always have a good time. It's a small bar, casual, unpretentious, but with quality food and good service - I love it! Typically filled with NoDa locals and a good place for good bar food if you are in the area. I got wings, a kale Caesar and we got fries with cheese sauce to share for the table. The wings were on special, a great deal and really good! I got their 3 pepper sauce - which is there buffalo and the hot honey. I loved the pepper/buffalo sauce, the hot honey had a bit too much honey for me. Ranch and blue cheese were great. We all asked for the wings extra crispy and they were perfect. I loved the kale salad as well, I just went for no anchovy. Fries were great, I didn't need the cheese sauce, but it was a nice extra we added on.

Yelp
Growlers is a Noda staple and I'm so glad it's part of the neighborhood. Ambiance ranges from cozy to bustling and I love that you can just really choose your own adventure here. You can have the crispiest draft PBR in Charlotte, or you could have a beautifully crafted cocktail. Perfect spot to drop in for a snack, or you can just live large and fill up an entire booth table top with plates of their delicious food. Their burger, nachos, oysters, wings, fries, vegetable crudité are all excellent. I have friends who swear by the various sandwiches. My only tip is that you go in knowing you will leave smelling like the doughnut shop in the back. It's a delicious smell, but there's no way to hide you just enjoyed a trip to growlers! The staff takes care of you for sure. Shout out Kelli especially!!! Kelli treats regulars like friends and new guests with respect! Sometimes it feels like Kelli can read my mind. It's always a pleasure to see familiar faces, but anytime I see someone new here they're always attentive as well. Go visit if you haven't already!!!

Yelp
Growlers in my opinion is elevated bar food ! I Enjoy all of the delicious selections I chose to indulge in with no complaints about anything I tried here . From classic pub favorites like wings and nachos to unique creations like the Pesto Brie fries and more . May I add the roasted oysters here are top notch. There's something for everyone to enjoy this bar is a hidden gem in Noda that should be talked about more .

Yelp
My last review was 2010, maybe time for an update. Popped in today to meet some friends, I was middle of the road and fine with going more than excited about it. We ordered oysters, wings and sandwiches. I was pleasantly surprised how delicious everything was. The oysters were some of the best in Charlotte, they tasted super fresh and briny. The wings were perfect and the bleu cheese made it even better. If you are a bleu cheese fan, these wings are a must. We ordered sandwiches, they were layered generously and you could tell these sandwiches were made with care. Not to mention a great seasonal cocktail menu, wine list and a local beer list. Growlers will definitely be on my list my next visit to NoDa.

Yelp
Not a place for vegans like me. There is literally one thing that is vegan and nothing on the menu that they can make vegan. Everything have meat or dairy. It was my first time and I'm never going to come here again and won't recommend to my vegan fellows.

Celeste K.

Yelp
Loved my first experience here! We were seated at a long table sorta separated with the decor but basically shared with other parties. That actually worked out for us well because the person next to me recommended we try the nachos - but with fries instead of chips! Nacho loaded fries?!?! Yes please! It was everything I thought it would be and more. Total carb city here - in the best way possible. I loved that they fried the potatoes hard so it could withstand the toppings and not get soggy. I kept eating well after I was stuffed. Also had a dozen of their oysters, all variety available and strangely enough, the cheapest ones were my fave. The mignonette they serve with the oysters was fantastic! I devoured all 12 in record time. Lastly, we had the pork belly tacos. Damn! They were so freaking delicious. I'm a huge broccoli lover and their broccoli Cole slaw tops the plain cabbage variety any day. The pork belly was super flavorful and rich but tender. It was cooked to perfection. I'll be back to try more menu items!

Yelp
Great food and good ambiance. And incredible location right in the heart of Noda. I love popping in for a drink and an appetizer as I make my way down the strip. I recommend Growler's!

Rebecca A.

Yelp
Everything was fine except the air! They seem to have a ventilation problem with the donut place. My eyes were stinging, nose became congested, and it was hard for me to sit there because my body was reacting to whatever was in the air (smelled like propane but friend said it's from the oil at the donut place). My friends were also having reactions, but not as badly as me. I saw someone commented about the issue 5 years ago, and I'm sad it's still an issue because it's not okay to have patrons sitting in that kind of environment.

Abby M.

Yelp
Amazing food, great ambiance, but the service was amazing! Kelly is one of the best bartenders I've ever had!

Victoria B.

Yelp
Been coming here for years and ain't a dang thang changed. Delicious, flavorful chicken wings. I always ask for mine extra sauced. The music is always on point and so are the drafts. Service is quick and they always make great suggestions. They have $3 off wings and $2 off drafts on Wednesdays. If you really love yourself, you'll try a Pork Belly taco- sooooo worth it.

Claire R.

Yelp
Food was delicious, but it was a little dark in there to see the menu ‍(I welcome the old lady jokes). I got the Turkey Avocado sandwich with fries. Gobbled that meal up so fast! Our waitress was nice and very attentive to what we needed.

Bunsen B.

Yelp
I began my life as many do, a baby. If I was told then that the best wings of my life would be at a pourhouse I would have coo'd in your face. The extra hot sauce adds a beautiful smokey flavor and heats you up! The blue cheese dressing tones this down with great fortitude. The mignonette on the oysters was decadent.

Madelyn D.

Yelp
My mezcal Paloma was amazing. Much bette than a standard Paloma. Our service was pretty quick as well.

Yelp
Amazinggggg! The liquid nitrogen give it a nice little crispyness when you bite into it paired with the fresh brioche bun and homemade pickles!!! And can't say enough about the French fries to die for

Alicia R.

Yelp
Growlers has probably some of the best wings I've had in Charlotte. Also you can't beat the Sunday $10 for 12 wings special. They usually have games on and a decent beer selection. If you order anything from the menu, it has to be their wings!

Ty D.

Yelp
Much better on our second trip to the city. Their tap list was expanded and, while we only had a single beer, it was delicious. We had a Triple C Carolina Sherbet. Had two burgers from them in the span of three days. I did give it 4/5 because the cheese wasn't melted on it either time. It was just placed on it after it was taken off the grill which is an oversight on the kitchen staff. It needs to be put on while it's still on the grill and allowed to melt before the burger is assembled. Staff was nice this time. Cash accepted.

Karen N.

Yelp
On a Sunday late night in Charlotte it is very difficult to find somewhere to go. We walked in at 10:55 p.m. and kitchen is open until 11. The bartender told us we had 3 minutes to order and we took advantage of it . We ordered a rueben to share and we were pleasantly surprised. The corned beef was lean, the rye bread fresh and the sauerkraut was not overpowering. We had a drink with our sandwich before their midnight closing time. Our bartender/server was very nice and the entire atmosphere was welcoming.

Duncan M.

Yelp
Just finished TWO dozen oysters (Canadian! oysters called Beausoliel) and they are superior oysters! I graduated from LSU and worked in New Orleans. I love good oysters. If YOU do, go to NODA and stop by the Growlers Pour House. Good beer, and a very nice selection of liquor. I had some Talisker Scotch.....a long time favorite. Bethany had a draft called Haze Tron Imperial Hazy IPA plus a Spring Fever Craft cocktail and raved about both. Best oysters in Charlotte!!

Lamont P.

Yelp
As a chef, I tend to be a little bit more critical of the places that I go eat because I know the standards that I follow - and sometimes it's a journey to find a really good bar restaurant combo.... but this is the spot! They have a great bar and whiskey selection, and any bar that has big ice rocks or spheres are always a fan in my book! We even put in some requests on alcohols we liked and got some custom cocktails made for us! When You go there, definitely try the brussels sprouts, the fish sandwich is awesome, we had their clam chowder which was perfect... and don't forget about their lobster roll! Legit! -the menu is really well balanced and fits the space perfectly! Next time I go, I'm going to try out their wings! We were roaming around the Mill district looking for a good dinner and a place to sit down and chill..... and the bar offers the perfect balance for people, energy, atmosphere, and service! For an out of towner - this is going to be one of my regular spots I always visit! Go check it out!

John K.

Yelp
Good spot in Noda that's fairly under the radar. Tables are typically first come, first serve with no host to handle seating. They have high quality bar food and a fun PB&J special (a PBR and a Jameson shot combination, if you're feeling into it). Also a great beer selection which is to be expected in this neighborhood. Outside of having good food, I like that this is a pseudo sports bar in Noda. It's a great place to watch a game.

Leila R.

Yelp
I'm always in search of a good reuben and had heard good things about the one here. Came in on an early wknd afternoon and it was not very busy, so we sat at the bar. Bartender started off a little distant and a bit annoyed, but after a bit warmed up. So not sure what that was about, just happy it wasn't that way the entire time. I was a little disappointed in the draft beer selection the day we went as there wasn't a lot of diverse options, especially for a place called a "pourhouse" and they were tapped out of a couple of options too. The reuben was decent, but not amazing and for the price, I will be honest that I've had better. So, all in all, an ok experience, but I'm not racing to go back any time soon. Might stop in again when in NoDa to try some other food & drink options.

Maurice B.

Yelp
One of the OG bars in NODA, it's always a great vibe here. Cool place to watch the games, but their kitchen pushes out some great food with some eclectic twists. Definitely try their wings as they are some of the best in the city!

Kaitlin C.

Yelp
I watched the female bartender pour something other than the 2 ingredients requested into our 3 drinks that appeared to be water. 2 of the drinks were Diso and coke and the third was a Diso and cran. The drinks were almost $10 each and tasted watered down. The additional liquid was clear and came out of an independent jug from behind the counter. The male bartender was also extremely rude when we asked for Dr. Pepper as a mixer stating "nah man. Nobody drinks dr. Pepper around here anymore." with the most condescending tone I've heard in awhile. 0/10. Do not recommend.

Meleah S.

Yelp
Some girlfriends and I recently came here for a weekday dinner. Two of us shared the poutine fries. I had the chicken taco. One of my friends had the hot wings (she asked them to be extra crispy) and a salad. My other friend had the jerk wings (request for extra crispy) and two tacos (not chicken but I can't recall which ones). The tacos were amazing! We loved them. I liked the poutine fries better than my friend (although I think salt helped them). The wings were rubbery and definitely not extra crispy. Before my friend and I decided to share the poutine fries, I asked if I could order a small order of fries and pay an upcharge to make them poutine fries. I was told I could not. This perplexed me. They have the ingredients and I was willing to pay more for them. It didn't seem like a crazy request to me... *shoulder shrug* I'd come back to this place for the tacos but otherwise, I wasn't wowed.

Scott S.

Yelp
I was here last night and it was great service (my personal first requirement for a good review), the food was great, the selections on the menu were a good selection of food I wanted to try and the overall atmosphere great. There were a couple of residents sitting in their reserved section who were awesome - very welcoming to talk to after I mistakenly sat in their section. The fact that they even have this in appreciation for the business they get with it is very business smart. Give them great service and a little incentive and that results in selling much more product. But it all starts with getting great service. I received great service here.

Cynthia C.

Yelp
Went Saturday at 5:30 for early dinner. It's Q4 2022, tired of "pandemic," "supply chain", "staffing." Rude is rude and our server specialized in serving up snark. Drink order - me: Iced tea please, unsweet. server: "We don't have iced tea.} me: "Really?" server: "We're a PUB." Me: ...asks about alternatives (none offered) and orders a soft drink. Food order - me: "how's the cauliflower prepared?" server: "Like it says, in sloppy joe sauce." Me: "Got it. Is it fried first?" Server: "no, sweetheart, it's not." Food order - "I'd like the burger, medium well." Server: "we are out of burgers." Me (looking at watch) "But it's a pub at 5:30 pm." Server: "yeah, but we've been open since 10:30....anyway we don't serve it medium well." Me: orders the Rueben. -- Never been to a place that serves food and not iced tea, not in the South. -- Server didn't offer other suggestions -- Server should have told us when taking drink order, they were out of burgers --Server shouldn't call ANYONE "sweetheart" We live close to Growler's and would love to consider it our neighborhood spot. I don't know what it is with this restaurant group. They are probably just focusing on Supperland. Rueben is 4 stars.

Yelp
Amazing cocktails and great food! A cool atmosphere and great service! Would definitely recommend coming here on your visit to noda.

William F.

Yelp
am a NODA local and formerly a frequent visitor to Growler's. Notwithstanding, due to recent interaction with their staff member at the door I will NEVER return. Although the place sometimes gave me a bit of stuck-up vibe, especially for a NODA establishment, I continued visiting mainly because of their late-night food options and their burger. This past Friday (Black Friday), I made my way to Growler's with my girlfriend with the intention a getting some late-night grub. In fact, the first thing I asked the staff member at the door when he approached me was whether the kitchen was open. He responded it was not but, since we were already there, we proceeded to try to go in anyways to grab a beer before continuing our food-search mission. Then, while my girlfriend was pulling out her ID, the staff member at the door inexplicably and arbitrarily denied her entrance claiming she was intoxicated, which was simply not true. To provide some context, we are both over 30 and had not consumed any alcoholic beverages for at least two hours before heading over. If anything, we were caffeinated since we were drinking tea immediately before heading over. I explained to the staff member that I frequented the establishment (although not specified, many times very much intoxicated) and had never had an issue. His attitude was dismissive. He lacked any hospitality. Since I was not going to spend my money at a place with employees with these types of attitudes, I did not insist on talking to a manager and we opted for another establishment on North Davidson. In sum, if you are looking for the friendly type of staff that characterizes NODA, stay away from Growler's. There are better places with staff that actually embodies the low-key amicable NODA attitude, such as Billy Jack's and Jack Beagles. These places also have much better prices for practically the same options. Dude with a bad attitude at the door -- presumptively upset about working on a Black Friday -- lost you a frequent customer, Growler's .

Philip L.

Yelp
My Gf and I went n there last night for the first time because we saw the menu online and wanted to checkout those Potato skins , but they didn't have them, so we went for the REUBEN! Bro, B E S T, BEST, BEST REUBEN IN TOWN Be back soon!!!

Kenty C.

Yelp
@kenty_eats Love what they did to their burger cooking it via liquid nitrogen. It's cooked in an immersion circulator, which evenly cooks the meat inside-out. The medium rare burger is dropped into negative 321 degree liquid nitrogen for one minute. It's then frozen on the outside, but cooked in the inside. It's then finished by deep frying it which gives the burger a nice crispy bite, yet a juicy burger. FYI, it is only served med-rare!! Parking is your standard NoDa street parking or at the Y after hours.

Nicole E.

Yelp
This is a great place to catch up with friends over a drink and food. The space is a little small, but cozy. I know they are known for beers, but I opted for a sangria which hit the spot. It was fruity, but not too sweet. They also have wine and mixed drinks. They have a small menu, but everything was good. My friends ordered a cheese plate to share which had a nice variety. Another friend had a Korean taco which was jam packed with meat. And I went for the Fresh Off the Cobb Salad. I devoured it. Nice crisp lettuce, corn tomatoes, blue cheese, bacon and a roasted tomato ranch dressing. The dressing was perfection and complimented the salad. Service at the table was a little slow, but staff was still friendly. There's something for everyone here.

Ian S.

Yelp
I was at Growlers last night with my wife. We noticed a few guys near us had been waiting for a table for an hour or so. When a table opened up and they sat down, the previous occupants of the table got mad because they had been trying to give the table to a few girls who had just arrived minutes earlier. The employees somehow ended up siding with the previous occupants and for some reason made the guys who had been waiting for an hour leave. It was truly bizarre to watch. The food was okay but the treatment of their customers was disheartening. Wont be back.

Kevin H.

Yelp
Trash establishment. I was over served and maybe got a little annoying and instead of the bartender taking steps to say, hey, you gotta go home, he screamed in my face and name called me to get me to go. I had absolutely no idea what I did to warrant such a reaction, but he felt it was appropriate. Power trip bartenders who think they're better than other people.

Bruce K.

Yelp
A quick beer here at Growlers ended up including a half dozen oysters and a Korean pork taco. I'm not sure how that happened. My mouth just ordered delicious things and I just ate them. It's a neat little spot, lots of bashed up wood and it's kind of dark. A neat spot for an afternoon of day drinking, perhaps. Or just a cool hangout here in NoDa if you're looking to try something other than a brewery. Yep, they make drinks here and there's a draft list of about a dozen or so local beers. Cool spot.

Tieren S.

Yelp
This place is cool.... for the tacos. I wouldn't think to get tacos at a place like this; however, I highly enjoyed them more than the fries and wings. My friend and I asked for our wings to be cooked crispy. I haaaaate woogly skin. And what kind of skin did I have on my wings? Woogly. I ordered the jerk and the flavor was good, but I guess they weren't jerky enough? My friend tried one and she said they were okay. I tried her spicy wings and they were meh. I make better wings. She also had woogly skinned wings. The spicy wings are not spicy... at all. The Poutine is okaaaay. I shared a basket with my friend and she liked them, but they were missing flavor and salt IMO. I think the gravy wasn't executed well and/or there should have been more bacon. And the cheese curds should probably be cheese sauce. Perhaps this would have added more salt and a little flavor (if the quality of the cheese is good) to the fries. The tacos were fabulous for $4. My fave was the Korean pork belly. There was broccoli on the taco. BROCCOLI! But the flavor was awesome. The other taco was aight. It was just meat and salsa, but it was a whole lotta meat. Kind of reminded me of the roast beef sandwich at Arby's which I don't like. But I'm only referring to the ratio of meat and sauce. I'd go back for the $4 tacos. You really can't beat that price for what you're getting. Also! I'd bring my own bottle of water. What is it with people putting their bare fingers on my straw???!!!

Mike S.

Yelp
This has long been one of my favorite bars in Charlotte. It is small and cozy with a great atmosphere. It reminds me of the types of pubs I've found in Europe. Even the door looks somewhat ancient/medieval which is a nice touch. They serve great pub food including oysters and have a fantastic beer selection. No night out in NoDa is complete unless it involves taking an oyster shot with the group!

Michelle M.

Yelp
This was a cool, cozy bar to hang out and grab a drink in before our show at The Evening Muse. We were happily surprised to see a cask ale available on draft. It was a double cream stout and at $6 we were happy with our choice. Most beers on the large chalkboard posted were between $6-8, a little more than I like to spend but worth it for the atmosphere and location. Service was attentive and quick, I waited just a few minutes. There was lots of seating options at the windows, bar, tables, and it was very full but we luckily found 2 seats. The front door is one of the coolest parts, definitely enjoy swinging open the medieval door. They offer wine, mixed drinks, and food as well.

Yelp
Oyster shots!!! Yes!! I love oysters shots...they are so delicious. I have been coming to this bar for a few years now. They actually have a good selection of craft beer..which I didn't really notice until recently as I only popped in for an oyster shot or two. It can get packed and seating is sometimes limited. I have never eaten here..so my experience is based only on drinks and service. Service is good...they servers do the best they can, in my opinion..sometimes it is difficult to give everyone the attention you would like when it gets crowded and overwhelmingly crazy. Understood.

Yelp
The last two times I've gone out in NoDa, we ended our night at Growler's Pourhouse. Love the spot! I can't speak to their food since I've never gotten it, but the drinks and atmosphere are lovely. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Will be going again!

Yelp
I fell in love with this place and would definitely come back if I'm in the area. They offer great variety of craft beers and house made cocktails. They have flight option, which includes four different kinds of beer from their menu. I recommend trying it if you don't know what to get. You can even sample before getting a whole glass. The pumpkin pecan mule is delicious, refreshing but not strong. I didn't have the chance to check the food out but it seemed pretty good from what I saw on other people's table We sat at the bar and really enjoyed our conversation with the bar tender. She was really friendly and helpful, recommended us a few places to try in the area. I really liked the ambience and definitely recommend this place for a date or chilling with friends.

Yelp
First time going to growlers and unfortunately will not be back. This is a first come first serve place so when you come and it's full, be pre paired to wait. We had no problem waiting and did so while we drank multiple drinks waiting for a table to open. No waitress or waiters came up to us once during this entire period to ask if we needed anything. I put my drink on a high top in which a couple were sitting that come to find out made them very mad. I kept the drink away from them and towards the far corner of the table as there is no where to place anything. After waiting close to an hour the couple begins to get up and offer three individuals who just walked in the table we were at. My friends and I began to sit down as this is first come first serve and the couple did not like that. I was called a slur by the women's boyfriend before he walked out. The mans girlfriend complained to staff we were rude by putting my drink on their table previously as we waited (mind you they are seated at the front high top in the middle of the restaurant where people have to wait). Staff would not seat us or serve us food after spending money in drinks and waiting for an hour. Their staff cares about locals only.

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday night to grab a couple drinks with my fiancé. Loved the vibe, service was quick and kind, and the drinks were great too! Would definitely come back.

Yelp
Review is strictly from bar. I was really pleased with the ambiance this place had to offer. The exposed brick walls and backlit bar offered a super low-key aesthetic. Their gothic details throughout the bar (like the castle looking door as a table) was very fitting and eye catching. The location is great for drinks before dinner (or drinks AND dinner.) The bar itself is small as is seating, but there TVs if you want to watch sports. The menu seems geared towards bar food. Their beer list was excellent in regards to variety! I was overly pleased when I saw a unique Allagash beer on the menu (whereas most places are choosing the brewery's "bread and butter" sellers, Growlers chose a coffee porter from Allagash that is nothing short of perfection. Props to Allagash, and hats off to the person who orders beer!) There were other beers on the menu that also caught my eye, and the prices were what I'd consider normal for craft beer. Our server was attentive, always sure to check if we needed anything. Looking forward to another visit.

Yelp
The food was fantastic and I want to come back here, however while I was eating a cockroach flew into my chicken wings and I lost all appetite. They comped my wings but my stomach hurts so much I can't eat anything else. I just hope they spray for bugs before this happens again

Yelp
This is a great place for both food and drinks in Noda! I scheduled a happy hour here at the request of a friend and I'm really happy I did. They have a wide variety of drinks. For those that don't like beer, they have cider and a full bar as well. Their food was the start of the show for me. We got the fried balogna sandwich and the Reuben sandwich at the recommendation of a friend. Both were amazing! I had never had fried balogna before, but this was delicious. The broccoli salad was good as well. I would definitely come here again. There was a lot of good looking food on the menu that I would love to try!

Yelp
Visited Growlers Pourhouse to watch the Panthers defeat the Titans, 9-0! Likes: The food, I ordered the Carrot Ginger Bisque and Red, White and Green Salad and both were delicious Good beer selection Dislikes: Parking Size, it is a bit small but luckily we were able to get seats at the bar The bartender was the ONLY person working in the restaurant, he did a great job but who schedules that on a Sunday when the Panthers are playing?! Overall, chill spot with good food and drinks out in the NoDa area.
