Grub Fresh Bowls & Wraps

I almost started eating my shrimp bowl before posting lol. The food was amazing!! It reminds me of Gusto but better. The bowl was very filling and full of fresh, delicious ingredients. I will definitely be returning to try more!

My reviews usually glow with praises. For this place, I could not. The staff was unfriendly - they didn’t even let us know our food was ready. My friend and I stepped right outside of the front doors to discuss a personal matter. We waited and waited and waited - no waive, or nod, or, “hey your food is ready.” Nothing. The young lady in the lobby on her cell phone just watched us. When we opened the front door to check on our order they pulled the dishes off a delivery shelf like we were a call-in order. Then there was the meal itself. The place gets decent reviews normally - so I have to guess that the server who made our dishes was heavy handed with the teriyaki sauce. The chicken teriyaki bowl was DRENCHED in sodium-filled sauce so badly that it wasn’t edible. I had traveled all day, and had just arrived in town so I was absolutely STARVING - and they took so long to fix it - so I tried to get the food down. That was apparently a HUGE mistake. When I concluded that the sauce was drenched throughout the meal - and continuing to consume the sodium sauce could give me a hypertension headache- I ultimately asked the young lady at the counter what she could do about making us new bowls without so much sauce. The staff refused to fix the problem. I had attempted to take my good friend out to dinner - but we could not even enjoy the food. I wasted my $23.00. The Staff simply took the food back with no refund or even an apology. Mint, the manager, looked at us and refused to assist us in ANY way - accept to tell me that if I didn’t appreciate the service- I should write a Google review. Well Mint, I followed your directions. I love following and supporting Black business- so this customer service failure cut me like a knife. I live in the DMV - I eat out 2 or 3 days per week. Never experienced this. This place was a customer service nightmare.

Edit review 2.5.22 Came and tried a chicken avocado wrap. It was cold... They normally cook the meat but wasn't happy the wrap was cold.. I thought the wrap could have been warmed up too... I'll definitely be back but probably not ordering a wrap I had no complaints about my first time here … will go back and try other dishes … I came back and tried another dish and it was 🔥and the customer service was great too... Made my dish exactly like I asked... Next time I'll try a wrap. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl this 2nd time.

The food was surprisingly satisfying and filling. The avocado chicken wrap has guacamole thinly spread instead of avocado pieces, but the wrap was a large pita. The chicken was cooked fresh infront of you. There was a little wait as a result.

The fajita shrimp bowl and sweet & spicy salmon bowls are amazing! Chef Kelley just introduced a new lemonade as well. A perfect meal on the go to/from the airport or if you're in the Hapeville area. Quick trip from downtown ATL too. So many options and each meal is fresh to order. Can't wait to try the wraps next.

Food was tasty and fresh and pretty good. Service wasnt the best. Well nothing wrong or disrespectful at all; just wasnt welcoming at all, no enthusiasm, no positive attitude, no friendliness, just real blah. To each its own. But the energy want welcoming at all. Would as a bonus have asked customers if its togo or dinein cause that was extra plastic bags that went to waste when ppl were eating in. & maybe train on dietary restrictions/food allergies. Like which what what be gluten-free, etc... overall, my 1st visit/meal was good and real good amount served. Deep dish for mix greens spicy/sweet salmon. Salmon smalled fishy which i usually dont like that at all but it still ended up being good. 10/19 1pm.

Decided to try, even though there were reviews that warned me... At first reception, there is no menu to explain what's available. When you ask, the two women working, they are VERY inconvenienced to explain...Plus, they seem as if they were forced to work today... Perhaps not their fault; there's no menu or even a QR Code to scan, and they probably haven't had proper customer service training. At present, I did order a bowl and a drink and spent $19.36. I will return to complete this review on the food. ** AFTER EATING ** OK... ordered at 1249. Food was ready by 1:05. Not going to complain too much about the long wait, but it was too long. DEFINITELY NOT worth $19.36 Food was actually pretty decent. Will I return? NO!! The Lack of customer service 1 time, is enough NOT to return... To the owner, please reevaluate your system of leadership & training. Realize, return customers are your bread and butter! If you fail to fix this, you won't be in business this time next year...

Grub is my go to whenever in Hapeville area. The food is both good for you & delicious. A win win in my book! Lol Of my many visits my favorite dish is the southwest chicken bowl with brown rice. Be mindful it tastes even better than it looks. The customer service is always great there as well. Will continue being a repeat customer for sure.
