Had a going away lunch for a coworker here. The place was fairly empty when we arrived so it was easy to find seating. The chips and salsa for the table were great. This is how I like my tortilla chips. Super thin and crispy. They were still warm when they arrived at our table. Mojito While my coworkers got margaritas I ordered a mojito. It was pretty good. One of the better ones I've had. Fish and shrimp tacos with a side of rice and beans. You can get 3 tacos with your order and you can mix them up. I decided to do 2 shrimp tacos and 1 fish taco. The fish taco was good. No complaints. Same with the shrimp tacos. There were no toppings with the shrimp tacos but the fish tacos had something on them. The shrimp tacos were in a sauce that I liked though. They also came with a green sauce that added a nice flavor. Now the rice and beans were just a side but man, the rice was GOOD. Perfectly cooked for my taste. I was thinking about how I could get my rice at home to taste this way. Mixed with the beans it made a delicious side. Overall good meal. Service was timely, responsive, and not over bearing. We had a good time wishing our coworker best of luck on his future endeavors while eating delicious food.

Good food, though it was pretty loud. Love the hot salsa we got with the chips. Also nice that enchiladas came with corn tortillas. My family said it was good.

Google
Manager and server were very accommodating to requests; manager even remembers me from the times I’ve gone which makes me feel appreciated as a guest. I go very often and everything is always done as requested and better. Food was good as expected, only slight problem is that the Steak Chimichurri came with steamed broccoli instead of the asparagus that were listed on the Toast app description. The Steak Sonora were very good.

I found small pieces of GLASS in my food. Yesterday, I ordered a cheviche to go from Guapos in Tenleytown, and when I was at home eating I started to feel something weird in my mouth, and trying to figure it out what it was. I had to take it out of my mouth to see what it was and it was glass! I can't believe I almost swallowed it. Imagine if I hadn't noticed it and swallowed it! I could die because of that! Please don't go there and if you do, be really careful with what you put in your mouth, specially if you go with kids. I will never put a foot in that place ever again.

If you are interested in mediocre, expensive Mexican food with terrible service, Guapo's is your place. I ate at Gaupo's last week (not the first time) and the service was horrible. I waited for a long time before a waitress showed up to take my order (my wife was there and had already ordered and gotten a taco salad of some sort), and I asked what sort of beers were on tap (not on the menu) and she didn't know, but said she would check. She disappeared for a long time, and came back and told me what they had, and I ordered one. She again vanished for a long time and eventually another waiter showed up and asked me if he could take my order. I told him I had given it to a another waitress a while ago and he sort of rolled his eyes and told me he would take my order and make sure I got it. Eventually a different waitress showed up with my beer and I said I would like to order an appetizer. I gave her my order and she left with it. After 20 minutes or so, I saw her and tried to get her attention, but she ignored me. At some point after that, another waiter apparently saw me trying to get her attention and said he would get her. After another 10-15 minutes or so, she showed up at my table and asked if I was ready to order. I said I already ordered and she seemed surprised and said she would check on it. After another 10-15 minutes or so, the other waiter stopped and asked if I had ordered yet. I told him I had ordered some time ago with the waitress. He again said he would check on my order. After another 5-10 minutes, another person showed up and asked to take my order. At this point, I was completely fed up and told him I had ordered some time ago, but I just wanted to cancel it now and just get the check. He was visibly annoyed and eventually brought the check, which conveniently included an I-85 surcharge and a large "suggested tip." At this point, I probably should have left the appropriate tip of $0.00, but I left 15% anyway. Last time going to this restaurant for me.

Google
Guapos is an institution and this Tenleytown location lives up to the reputation. Amazing margaritas and chips and salsa. I’m into the Pollo Saltado recently. It’s like a deconstructed fajita and French fries.

Google
Enchiladas done right! They melt in your mouth and have just the right layer of sauce and cheese, and the beans and rice are spiced well. It was kid friendly as they put up with my crying daughter and even brought her a fruit plate to see if it would cheer her up. Come for the food as the service is not fast.

Google
Came for a private event and really appreciated the decorations, customer service and food/drinks. We were part of a group of about 30 (if I were to guess). The private room had a bar with two folks making sure everyone had something to drink at all times. The food came out (Buffet style) and it was far better than I thought it would be. The steak was so tender and flavorful. The desserts were flan, tres leches and churros. All of them were delicious.

Yelp
This review is for the private event space upstairs of guapos tenleytown. We held our baby shower here this past weekend and had a blast. Love that the space was already nicely decorated, we just added some extra floral arrangements, signage, table runners and personal touches. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. The coordinator was easy to reach. The food/dessert came out on time and was cooked to expectation. The drinks at the bar were good and we could make special requests without any issues. Parking was easy at the garage behind the restaurant. You can even park in the back of the restaurant to quickly unload supplies. Pretty fair price with different tier options for patrons to choose from.

Yelp
Food Eh Service - was not served on time shoved in the back of the restaurant check was not given 1.5 hours of waiting, had to literally juggle wallets in the air and get manager for check. Almost got stabbed by a TWEAKER outside! US service member in our party was harassed outside restaurant as well. Price was egregious Bottomless chips were fire! Chat gpt makes me laugh good tvs Would come again!

Yelp
Underrated restaurant in the heart of Tenleytown! They've got a great tequila selection and frozen margaritas, regular specials, warm tortilla chips and salsa come with your drinks or food, and tasty Tex-Mex. Staff were friendly and provided quick service. The restaurant was clean, had great decor, and was playing some excellent Latin Music.

Yelp
This is a fun, spacious and brightly decorated eatery in Tenleytown. We needed a quick bite before an event -- this was a little more leisurely than I'd like -- I was getting anxious, so we quickly asked for the bill as soon as our meals came. The food was good, tasty -- although my shrimp tacos were a little meagre on toppings. This would be a better choice if we had a group and were celebrating something. Still, if I find myself back in Tenleytown -- this would be great for a margarita!

Yelp
Guapo's never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Camarones Brochette--the shrimp is grilled just right and packed with smoky flavor. If you're a seafood lover, do not miss the Seafood Soup--rich, hearty, and comforting with generous portions of shrimp, fish, and scallops. The service is always friendly and fast, and the atmosphere has that perfect mix of lively and relaxed. Definitely one of my go-to spots!

Yelp
We came out to guapo's on a Friday night. They had no seats inside at the time so sat outside. I will say sitting outside is very uncomfortable the seats and tables are so squished that every time the table behind me leaned back or moved a centimeter my chair was constantly moved and bumped, and that doesn't make for a great night out. I got the fajitas, and they came out sizzling and tasted great. The drinks were also pretty good. I recommend having a reservation before coming here, being able to get a table inside seems to be a better option.

Yelp
This restaurant has been a staple in my family for years. The chips and salsa are always fresh and the margaritas are affordable and tasty. This visit I ordered the Chile rellenos which were massive and very filling but also very heavy (comes with the territory I suppose). My dad enjoyed his salad and my mom loved her tacos. The tortilla soup here is also perfect for a winter day! Service was good as well.

Yelp
Very tasty food and good service. I highly recommend the Ariero Steak and the Paloma cocktail.

Yelp
The atmosphere is amazing, clean and beautiful. The service was friendly, helpful and everyone was super kind. The margaritas are amazing, and the blanco and chips are the best in the city!!

Yelp
I came here for dinner on a Friday night with some family while visiting Washington, DC. It was busy but we were seated after not too long of a wait. The interior decor is on par with your average Tex-Mex restaurant - vibrant colors and music playing. We ordered drinks and one entry each for five people. The total with tax was an astounding $192! The steak fajitas alone were $28 alone, for something I have gotten at other restaurants for $17 or $18 max. My carnitas fajitas came in a good size portion, with yellow rice and beans, but the flavor was just average. Unfortunately, that was the consensus for the rest of the food we ordered: overpriced Tex Mex. On the plus side, our server was very attentive, making sure our plates were cleared and waters were filled. Though my DC family likes this place, I was quite disappointed and would not spend time or money here again.

Yelp
Had a delightful lunch here yesterday. Although it was pretty warm outside, we elected to sit outside in their covered seating facing Wisconsin Avenue. The covering provided sufficient cover so it was very pleasant. Immediately upon being seated, we received chips and two salsas (chips and salsas were warm!). The chips were nice and crisp and seemed fresh. The one salsa (smooth pureed tomatoes) and the other was a chunky pico de gallo, with bits of onion and tomato. Very good. There were three of us. We each got an entree from the lunch menu (although full menu is offered all day). One had the Burrito Bowl Carnitas ($12.95) - the person asked for no rice, and was given extra beans, which was nice. One had the Tacos al Carbon with Chicken ($20.95), with three tacos - the person took one home. I had the Burrito Bowl Shrimp ($16.95) - the shrimp were small and coated with an orange coating - not sure what it was, but the shrimp were properly cooked and tasty. I enjoyed the bowl. The service was great. It was a hot day and the wait staff came around several times to refill water glasses (they put a pitcher on the table, but still came over from time to time to refill our glasses when they were getting low). The staff were friendly and the food came out timely. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of the bowls as the presentation was very nice.

Yelp
Visited Guapo's for a graduation with a party of 14 and the service was impeccable. Our server Evelyn went above and beyond and paced our food out nicely. She remembered every detail and made this experience memorable. I loved the noise level we were able to have conversations without yelling and the music was at a volume of where you could enjoy and vibe without having to yell. We tried their revamped menu I will say a must try is their steak fajitas and the canelo cocktail

Yelp
The Georgetown Senior Citizen Center has gone to your restaurant on a multitude of occasions over the years, but this was the least satisfying visit we have made thus far. We decided to come to your restaurant for a reunion after dissolving the organization last summer (out of respect for our tradition going to your restaurant) but were very DISAPPOINTED by the service we received on Saturday, April 5, 2025, with a party of about 15 people for a 1 pm afternoon reservation. First off all, with several senior citizens over the age of 80 the first to arrive, they were told they needed to WAIT until the entire party arrived to be seated. That changed when I got there a little before 1 and announced that was unsatisfactory and we needed to be seated immediately, as it is rude and unnecessary to make these ELDERLY PEOPLE WAIT while the restaurant was more or less empty. Once the majority of the party arrived, service was unacceptably slow and it took FOREVER to a) order drinks, b) order our food, c) get refills on chips and salsa after being there close to an hour, d) finally get our food. We were ABSOLUTELY TAKEN FOR GRANTED and we did not appreciate it. You failed this time and it is a damn shame. You should be ashamed of your service this day.

Yelp
Quality is a bit inconsistent. First time I went, I loved it. This time around my fajitas, although visually appealing, we're improperly cooked. I asked for medium well; they were more like medium rare and tasted like blood (bleh). Chips weren't as fresh as usual. The service was very, very good. All in all, it was a bit of a mixed bag.

Cathy H.

Yelp
Huge portion of incredibly delicious food. Fabulous margaritas. Salsas are delicious and fajitas are incredible. Go!

Yelp
I spent almost $80 for a fajita platter and rib eye steak platter. The fajita platter was 3 strips of tough, overcooked steak and 3 strips of dry chicken breast on a heap of onions for $27. The steak platter was worse. I opted for the rib eye which was $9 more than the NY Strip and was badly undercooked (I ordered medium and it was extra rare) and almost 1/3 inedible fat and gristle with 3 pieces of fried yucca the size of French fries and a couple spoonfuls of black beans and rice for $39. The only reason I didn't go back to complain is that because of the line outside the door on a Friday night would have wasted another 40+ minutes of my time in the car and waiting to speak to a manager. Guapo's used to be good and I had decent meals there years previously. This was more than just a bad outing. It was a pure waste of money that I'll never make the mistake of doing again. Mike M.

Yelp
Attended a hosted party at this location in the top floor. The chips and salsa and calamari appetizer were delicious. The employees were super kind and welcoming. The drinks, both frozen and on the rocks margaritas were great. The food was pretty good! I preferred the fajitas over everything else.

Yelp
If we have guests and they want Mexican food, Guapo's is our go-to!! The food is always great and the customer service is excellent. I usually get the steak + chicken fajitas (Which is enough for 2 meals, for me) and the mango juice (this is a must-try!!). After their trip, everyone always mentions how good the food was!!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious margaritas and food with generous portions! Their burrito bowl with ground beef is so good and the servers are always nice! They also have decent happy hour deals (4-7pm) if you sit at the bar.

Yelp
I visited this establishment for Taco Tuesday. Despite there being no specials. I must say the food here was absolutely delicious and flavorful. The chips and salsa was so good had the table asking for more. The chips were very thin but crunchy with a light dusting of salt. For my entree I ordered the fajita which was very good. It came out sizzling with a thick cut of steak and chicken. The sides weee also very good but the melted butter was the show stopper, "so good". The service was also very good, the waitress was very attentive and the food came out expeditiously. The drinks were also very flavorful but could have been more spirit forward. At least that's the way I like my drinks. Don't wait for Taco Tuesday, go today!

Yelp
The elote tamales are so good! Best I've ever had. The ceviche portion sizes are too small for me.

Yelp
I got a seafood quesadilla! Food and margarita were good. Nice portions of food. Service was good.

Yelp
Good margs and chips and sauce are popping! Wasn't expecting much from their bacon guacamole either but it was actually very tasty and really enjoyed it! A great place for casual food and margs.

Yelp
All I can say is-- it's a huge benefit to sit at the bar or bar area and enjoy happy hour from 3-7pm during the week! Great food and drink options! I enjoyed my cute dish of chicken quesadillas! I got some tasty green hot sauce. Yummmy! Mojitos were delicious, mango one was a bit too sweet for me. My friend enjoyed her dips off the Happy hour menu. I also enjoyed my chicken enchiladas-- had a big appetite. Totally enjoyed every bite. Good service-- I didn't mind flagging various people down. Don't be shy-- try it out!

Yelp
I have been coming here occasionally and I would say tonight specifically was perfect. From the beginning to the end service and food was exceptional. The occasion was for my wife earning her bachelor's degree. The vibe and setting was wonderful. I had the Guapos Superior and it was amazing. I wish I can take a pic of it but everything was gone by the time I wrote this review. The plate was amazing. Evelyn our main waitress for tonight was awesome. Her attention and attitude was what Guapo's represent. Excellent service. I will continue to come to this location because of her and the staff here. Thank you for an enjoyable and great night here.

Magaly B.

Yelp
everything was amazing. I love the steak and shrimp fajitas. The service was great. They were so polite. They were on point.

Yelp
Manuel the best bartender ever!!! The food was full of flavor and delicious. Although it took some time, the wait was definitely worth it because everything was fresh, hot and tasty. Also it was cinco de mayo day so it was lit. Moreover, everything was reasonably priced. If you love some good drinks and tacos this the place. The jelly shots were perfect gone before I could take a picture lol. ASK FOR MANUEL THE BEST BARTENDER HANDS DOWN EXCELLENCE SERVICE EVERY TIME. All good vibes with everyone!!!!

Yelp
One of the best Mexican restaurants in the DC. My wife took me to this restaurant for my birthday. As soon as we enter, I could tell the restaurant had great food because the place was packed. My wife ordered calamari, elote, and plantains for appetizers. We could have just had the appetizers for a meal. For dinner, my wife had sizzling chicken fajitas. I ordered the shrimp burrito bowl. At first, I thought I made the bad choice of entree. But I just had to get used to the mixture of flavors. The meal was delicious. They even sang me a Happy Birthday song. They put a big Sombrero hat on. I had so much fun. The staff here are attentive and wonderful. I will come again.

Yelp
The first time we ordered from Guapo's was during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic and we were less than impressed - overly seasoned food and deserted restaurant. But it was a tough time for everyone, so we ventured back more recently and I'm so glad we did. Our second try was much more memorable. The food was excellently prepared, well-seasoned, and high quality. We ordered the chile rellenos and steak tacos. The beans were still a little salty but the rice and guacamole were delicious, as were our main entrees. The menu is much larger and varied than your standard Mexican restaurant. The Tenleytown location is nestled between several other restaurants just off the metro station next to Whole Foods and several other large retailers. There is both indoor seating and an outdoor patio, although the street can be crowded with nearby high school students during certain hours.

Yelp
My favorite Mexican, Tex-Mex restaurant of all time! I've been coming here for over 20 years and love it everytime. The service is phenomenal, food is top tier, and we are always running into friends from the neighborhood. Very lively setting inside on busy nights. They have plenty of margarita flavors to choose from aside from their classics. I'll continue to remain a patron here as long as they are open!

Yelp
Best grilled quail anywhere. But not all locations serve it although they should. Where is your restaurant serve grilled coal.

Yelp
My Husband, me & my Dad went to Dinner here Last Friday to just unwind from a long weekday. (Though we went to the Bethesda MD, location instead) We were excited to just sit and relax with some good food & great drinks. Besides running into a slight issue meeting with my Dad, (which was my own fault, and loosing our 6:30pm reservation that was due to a misunderstanding. The manager was kind enough to still give us a table again as soon as we all finally found each other.) We started of course with drinks "Sangria" for me, "Strawberry Frozen Daiquiri" for my Husband & "Margarita" for Dad. All were reasonably portioned and tasted so satisfying & amazing in their own way. Followed by "Chips & Salsa" & even some of their really addictive "hot Salsa" (which was actually quite odd looking at first but I couldn't stop eating it once I started lol ) and let's not forget about some "Calamari" too! Loved the "Fried jalapeños" they did with it. Never seen it done that way before. Once relaxed & talked ourselves into hunger we ordered, "enchiladas" for my father , "steak fajita" for me & my husband had the "burrito." Everything turned out really nice. Of course on a Friday night, do expect noise and it does get slightly loud but honestly for the drinks and the food, it's so worth it and all 3 of us had a Amazing Friday night Dinner out! ! FYI to help a bit : 1.) I would recommend getting a reservation for this place (w/o one, on a Friday or Saturday night, it will get packed fast and don't be surprised if you have to wait some in order to be seated) 2.) understand it will get crowded & it will get noisy (if you have troubles hearing or do not like loud noise, try perhaps carrying out from here instead, that way ur avoiding the noise & still getting a great meal.)

Yelp
Service was friendly but kinda rushed. This is a popular place the college kids like to go to when family comes to visit. The food was good. The salsa and chips very good.I would definitely try it again.

Yelp
Guapo's is an old staple that you are not expecting anything spectacular but just consistent, decent food and service...which means a lot in my humble opinion.

Yelp
A group of four of us visited for lunch on 2/22/23. I love complimentary chips---housemade, crispy, well salted, thin, and some curled pieces that enhance the overall texture. The salsa was dark, runny, not spicy, not too oniony, and overall enjoyable. I ordered the huevos ranchero ($14) and asked for it to be made vegetarian (their refried beans are made with chicken and the dish comes with beef as a key ingredient). The only way to truly make the dish vegetarian is by substituting all meat and refried beans with black beans. The dish was visually appealing, smelled and tasted divine, and was a sufficient portion for lunch. We also ordered guacamole for the table! The taste was excellent, fresh, and enjoyable---good enough for four adults (perhaps the equivalent of one large avocado). I also ordered a mango agua fresca ($10). It was super delicious and a huge portion. It tasted like fresh mangoes were distilled to produce this drink. Definitely recommended. I didn't take any photos. They have indoor and outdoor (heated) seating. Views are nice. It's Georgetown so expect to pay a little more. The service was consistent, prompt, friendly, and professional. Host, busser, and server team all contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. Payment processing was efficient and splitting checks was a nonissue. The restaurant doesn't claim to be the something they're not. They don't claim to be the best cuisine in the city, or authentic Mexican, or Michelin-star rated, or a celebrity favorite. It's just straight up good Tex Mex and they don't pretend to be anything else, so don't expect luxury, bougie, fusion, or any other attributes you might get at Sandoval restaurants.

Mark M.

Yelp
Carlos are server was excellent as always. We have been coming here for about a year and have received nothing but top notch service. Food is above most Tex- Mex places. Small bar but good to watch sports. Also has free parking for the first 2 hours in the Whole Foods store behind. If you ask I'll tell you how to get more than 2 hours...LMAO

Yelp
My wife and I revisited Guapo's. We lived in Washington DC for years, not far from the restaurant. We recently started spending more time back in the area due to my elderly father. So we sometimes return to familiar haunts. This is among them, a reliable standby for Mexican food. We had cheered on a friend at the Marine Corps Marathon. We parked next to the Tenleytown metro station. Guapo's is nearby. I suggested it for that reason, because we didn't want to have to search for lunch. We had huevos rancheros and chicken tamales. The dishes were good. We don't praise enough consistency. It's important to have places you can go to comfortably and without unpleasant surprises. We experienced two issues. The first was the huevos we're not prepared properly. My wife had requested the egg yolks be hard. She has an allergy. The waiter repeated back the order and nodded. The eggs were runny. They remedied it. My wife had said it would be fine simply to microwave it to ensure the eggs firmed up. They redid it altogether. We could tell from her having cut into the earlier delivery. The second was hot sauce. The initial inquiry produced nothing. We might have been speaking to someone without sufficient English -- which I note descriptively and with any judgment normatively, other than our nation ought to be welcoming and we should have been more aware. The follow up produced a choice of four types. I said whatever is hottest. After a lengthy wait, I went inside. Our waiter said it was coming, and my wife wondered if they are making it. When it was brought it, indeed, we surmised it was fresh, a green concoction. My philosophy is not to overreact. The overall impression I have of Guapo's is positive enough to consider going there once again and to recommend it. Every business has a bad day. They were pleasant enough addressing the above. The waiter probably would post his version of a story about demanding customers. It worked out fine. We tipped twenty percent. I'm leaving five stars here.

Yelp
A pretty tasty Mexican restaurant up in Tenleytown! Our service was prompt and waters were quickly refilled. The food was fine--what you'd expect for this type of Mexican food. The prices were a little on the high side for the quality and nothing really wowed me. But it was a fun time!

Yelp
Consistently high quality of Mexican food, drinks, and service, and willingness of management to introduce new items

Yelp
I came to this restaurant with a friend Friday and we sat at the bar. When I tell you it was the worst experience I've had at a restaurant I don't even know where to start. My friend does not eat meat at all and they did not let us know that there is chicken broth in the chips and dip. We found out it had the broth when asking a server what it's made of. The manager Stephanie came over to us and I informed her that the two servers checked with chef saying it had chicken broth. Then she told us multiple times the servers were lying. Then i asked to check for herself with chef. She came back and said that it did have chicken broth in it ‍‍ never apologize and still left the plate in front of her. Stephanie instead of helping made everything so much worse. BUT the server Alberto literally made everything sooo much better. He wasn't even our bartender and help clear our plate took our order and kept coming back to check on us and some amazing small talk. At first we thought he was the manager then he said he was just a server. I'd give this place a 1 star but Alberto really tried to make us happy. Stephanie definitely needs retraining.

Yelp
Food was good, and servers were extremely nice and accommodating. It was my birthday and we asked about a cake that sadly they do not normally have but made something similar.

Yelp
Guapo's is one of a few Tenleytown institutions that have existed since before I went to AU. I have been here a few times before and remembered it's decent Mexican food. My fiancé went here on Saturday afternoon with a group of friends we have not seen since the pandemic started started. The service was slow but they were giving us time to hang out as a group which was good and we're quite friendly. I ordered a Coronarita (which I believe they call Margarita Grande) and my fiancé ordered a Pina Colada Martini. The drinks were great yet strong as I felt it through the afternoon. Keep in mind the Coronarita only comes in the very large size and even more beer comes out as you drink it and even the smaller size which the Pina Colada Martini came in was quite large for a drink. Since they were serving brunch, we ordered from the brunch menu. We ordered the Mahaca Chimichanga and a steak $ fried egg fajitas that were a special. The food was wonderful and quite affordable, yet the drinks are typical $8 (smaller) and $16-$20 (larger) price you expect for a Mexican restaurant in the area. I got pictures of the drinks but the one picture I have of the food came blurry but I highly recommend the brunch menu if they are serving it.

Yelp
Four friends went on a long urban hike on a recent Sunday morning and ended at Guapo's in Tenleytown in DC for some to catch the Metro home, which is conveniently across the street. It was still early enough for brunch. I ordered the Tacos Chorizo, that is supposed to come on hard shell corn tortillas, lettuce, pico de gallo and cheese. To be on the safe side, I explained that I'm allergic to gluten, so I can only eat corn tortillas. I emphasized: no flour tortillas. I also ordered their GUAPO'S CADILLAC MARGARITA (with Grand Marnier). The drink was delicious. I probably could have had another, but it had The restaurant was sparsely populated for such a prime location on a late-morning Sunday. The wait-staff seemed to be walking around in a daze. Maybe they're still adjusting to returning to work after the pandemic. Not sure, but they were pleasant, just not attentive to customers. My food arrived. I was surprised with a nice bowl of fruit, refried beans, and a fried ball (maybe a Mexican hushpuppy?). The first thing that I noticed was that the tortillas were not hard shells made from corn. They were flour. Darn. The food went back to the kitchen, explaining again that I had an allergy and that I can't eat anything that touched the flour tortillas. The food came back with soft corn tortillas. Also, there was scrambled egg and a slice of avocado (no pico de gallo or cheese). But I didn't complain again. Two of my friends' orders were also messed up, in other ways. In fact, one got something completely different from what she ordered. She was very hungry, so she just ate it. The food was meh. The service was meh. I didn't hate it, but there are plenty of other restaurants nearby.

Yelp
First time dining here with the fam and the experience was okay. The complimentary chips and salsas we good and you could taste the freshness of the chips. The spicy salsa is served warm which is delicious and was not spicy to me yet had a really good balanced flavor. The chimichanga didn't come with sauce, stuffed with shrimp and scallops, side toppings, rice and bean. My beans were cols. I told the waiter and he asked if I was sure . Brought me a side order and they were super hot. My fam seemed to enjoy their steak and the Los didn't really eat the calamari. The churros were good but the caramel and Chocolate sauce were served cold. Idk what it is with them and cold toppings for hot foods. The flan is really good and has a cookie like bottom. I would definitely get that again. Probably the highlight of my meal. Would actually give 3.5 start but I rounded up lol

Yelp
Food: Interesting - I was given Spanish Fly through a steak. Service: Very scary. Ambiance: Almost ghostly

Yelp
This is not "authentic Mexican food" Tacos are not on a hard shell like that you'd find from Taco Bell. Our waiter never checked to see how things were. Or refilled my drink. It was busy. But the food was very mediocre. Kinda funny I asked for chaluo hot sauce after he asked me which kind and gave me two options and brought me over tobasco. Otherwise nice environment. I won't be returning.

Yelp
The food was great, a good size portion and the margaritas were very strong. The service was great, and the little kid behind me loved his birthday song! On a bonus note the tip recommended didn't tip on the tax! Great job!
