11 Great and Affordable Takeout Spots in Atlanta | Eater

"Very few dumpling havens are as famously great as Gu’s, which held court on Buford Highway for years and finally moved closer to city-dwellers via its Krog Street Market stall. The water-boiled Zhong-style dumplings in the form of chicken, pork, or veggie, are so delicate they quite literally melt in your mouth. Gu’s is the ultimate family style choice: Order a little bit of everything, and you’ll be in variety heaven for days." - Vox Creative

Google
We went for half plate Vegetarian Dumplings and Sweet and Spicy Thick Noodles. Dumplings were good with nice flavour. However, thick noodles didn’t impress. I would have preferred a thicker sauce to stick around it but it was quite watery with no strong flavours. Would give it a pass next time. The service was okay.

Google
Honestly disappointed by this meal. I got veggie dumplings and Dan Dan Noodles and there wasn’t much flavor aside from the sauce that dumplings were in. The filling itself was bland and felt like a veggie mush. Dan Dan Noodles were nothing to call home about. Lacking flavor, noodles didn’t have that good chew I’m accustomed to from DanDan noodles and just not worth the purchase.

Google
We ordered their pork dumplings, which we've had before, but this time they seemed to lack the flavor and heat we’re used to. On the plus side, our order came out quickly, which makes me wonder if they weren’t cooked fresh—maybe they’re batch cooked and kept in a warmer? They're worth trying if you're a dumpling fan, but honestly, I wouldn’t go out of my way for them next time.

Google
Oh man what a treat! We got to try THE Famous Dumplings at Gu’s in Krog Street Market. We got a dozen of the Pork Dumplings and they are served in a to go bowl with this sauce that’s like a mix of Soy and Chili spice that for us was the right about of heat and flavor! We can’t wait to come back and try more of their dishes like the Szechuan Chicken Po Boy

Google
I got 12 of their famous Zhong style dumplings ($15) and didn’t know it was a popular spot until I walked around Krog street. It had a tangy, sweet, and spicy flavor because of the sauce. I wished it had more green onion or garlic flavor, but otherwise it was pleasant to eat as a snack/appetizer. I only had an issue with the top dumplings being colder/lukewarm than the bottom ones. The service/pickup food area was chaotic though with a bunch of bags piling up and confusion with order names.

Google
Gu's Dumplings serves some of the best noodles I've had. As of this review it only has 3.8 stars on Google Maps which is 1.2 stars too low. The Dan Dan noodles are just spicy enough, have a perfect texture, and a wonderful sauce. The cold noodles are simple but addicting. The hand pulled noodles are excellent when fresh, but when they're colder they tend to get a bit chewier. That's okay, because it's the only complaint about the noodles. The dumplings are at least the second best I've had anywhere. Six will fill you up if you want a big snack. Skip the meat and sandwich options because while good, they're not great. But that's kind of the point, everything is at least good or better. Just go straight for the noodles or dumplings and you'll love your meal! Food comes out very quickly and the line moves fast. The market has parking garages that are almost joined to it. Parking as of July 2023 is $5 for an hour, $8 for 2 hours, or $10 for 4 hours. There is no validation that I'm aware of.

Google
I feel like the quality has dropped off over the last couple months, while it’s been one of my favorite restaurants it’s gotten worser. The food is way less spicy and the food is dryer overall with less sauce. I don’t know if it was done to speed up cook times but I don’t mind waiting if it means a better product overall. Loved it before not so sure anymore.

"Gu's Dumplings nestled in the heart of Krog Street Market is a culinary haven for vegetarians like my wife and me. Our taste buds rejoice every time we make the journey from Ponce City Market to indulge in their delectable offerings. From the moment you step inside, the aroma of freshly steamed dumplings tantalizes your senses, promising an unforgettable dining experience. The selection of vegetarian dumplings is extensive and each one is a masterpiece of flavor and texture. Whether it's the classic vegetable dumplings bursting with colorful veggies or the innovative tofu and spinach dumplings, every bite is a symphony of taste. And let's not forget their Szechuan French Fries – crispy, spicy, and downright addictive! They're the perfect accompaniment to the dumplings, adding an extra layer of indulgence to the meal. What truly sets Gu's Dumplings apart is their unwavering commitment to quality and authenticity. Every ingredient is carefully sourced, and each dish is crafted with precision and passion. The result? A dining experience that transports you to the bustling streets of Chengdu, where every bite tells a story of tradition and culinary excellence. Whether you're a die-hard vegetarian or simply someone who appreciates good food, Gu's Dumplings is a culinary destination not to be missed. The journey from Ponce City Market to Krog Street Market is well worth it for the unparalleled flavors and warm hospitality that await you at Gu's. Five stars simply doesn't do justice to this culinary gem!"

Yelp
Good dumplings!! Disclaimer I'm a little bit of a dumpling snob, tried the pork and chicken dumplings and liked both of them but didn't think they were super authentic. They also smother them in a spicy sweet sauce that is good but a little overpowering 4/5 food - had the pork and chicken dumplings 5/5 service - quick and easy to order! 5/5 vibes - Gu's is located inside Kroger Market which has a great ambiance

Yelp
Good, but I don't know that I could call the food life-changing. The dumplings were just fine and the sauce was nice, a little bit spicy and just a tiny bit sweet. However, the filling seemed a little dense and the wrappers were thicker than I might have expected. The Chengdu noodles were also pleasant, a good choice on an unexpectedly hot day. No cilantro, like many Sichuan places would add, but that's a huge point in their favor as far as I'm concerned. I had a short lived heat afterburn going, so that was enjoyable. Fast albeit indifferent service. I would return but there's no way I could call this either the best dumplings or best Chengdu food I've had.

Yelp
Hands down the best dumplings in the City. Lots of places aren't consistent, but Gu's is definitely on point. Thinking of going for lunch today.

Yelp
I visited the food hall in Atlanta, and I absolutely fell in love. They have more Asian varieties however, I am not a sucker for a good dumpling and I order the pork dumplings and it was so delicious a little bit of spicy, but a perfect amount of spice. I got the sweet, savory and umami flavors and I would love to go back again and try it. It was such a great portion for six. The milk tea Boba was amazing to. I did believe that they said it was a non-dairy cream base and I didn't have any issues so I believe it is non-dairy. Try it out and let me know what you think.

Yelp
Had the chicken steamed dumplings to go. They held up on the ride and being reheated. Tasty with a tangy sauce with a little heat.
google avatar

Yelp
Got to try quite a bit of Gu's menu and loved everything I ordered. I see why the they named the restaurant after the dumplings because these are honestly sensational. The pork is typical packed into this perfect dumpling that has a nice chew. The Po Boy was unlike any other po boy I've ever had. The chicken they use is unique to me and works perfectly in a sandwich. The chicken also works on its own as I ordered a little container of those as well. The Dan Dan noodles with pretty good but not as memorable as the rest of the order. Everything had a good amount of spice!
google avatar

Brian E.

Yelp
Gu's doesn't use MSG, and it shows. The Chongqing Chicken was greasy and bland. Same with the Crispy Beef. Maybe the dumplings are good, but ignore the other dishes.

Yelp
Handmade noodles are simply one of my favorite things. Gu's Dumplings' handmade sweet and spicy thick noodles did not disappoint. The noodles were thick and firm (yum!) and the flavor was great. However, I wish it was a little spicier. Would like to try more of their options, including their dumplings!
google avatar

Marni M.

Yelp
With all the options at Krog Street Market, I was happy my friend recommended me to this one for their dumplings. Since we were at the stall, I figured to try their Half Order Pork Zhong Style Dumplings in addition to their Handmade Sweet and Spicy Thick Noodles. The dumplings were filled with juicy pork and coated in a sweet and slightly spicy soy sauce which was also the same for their noodles. Being called "thick" is an understatement as they were certainly larger than udon noodles but perfect for soaking in their delicious sauce. These make even better leftovers the next day when they can be further immersed with the flavors. Will definitely be coming back to try more items from their menu and recommend others to do the same!

Yelp
This was my first Gu's experience. I had heard of the place. I was at Krog so finally got to try it. I was very happy with the Dumplings! I had been on a dumpling kick not long ago. I got the pork dumplings. They were packed with yummy pork. The chili sauce on top was amazing! Service was good. They served up some super hot yummy dumplings quickly. People complain about the price. It seems about normal for the area. Especially if you go somewhere like Krog. It was worth it to me!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a great place to go if you want to spend a lot of money for food poisoning! I was sick for two days. On a different visit to Krog, I saw an employee leave the bathroom without washing their hands. The health code score is low for a reason.

Yelp
This place lit me up! I mean that in so many ways. It lit up my taste buds. It lit up my heat-o-meter and I definitely felt it later. It also lit up my wallet, because damn, was it expensive! All in all, the food is a 5 here, so was the service of the young man working the counter. I understand things are always (needlessly) more expensive in these food halls because they are paying higher rent, but even by those already established knowns, it was a really pricey meal. In my case, I was on vacation, and taken on just how delicious things were... I would have gone again. We got the handmade sweet and spicy noodles, a 12 piece order of pork dumplings, and the Chongqing spicy chicken. The stars of this were definitely the dumplings and the noodles. The doughy texture created by not using anything pre-made is extremely evident, and where I am from, there are actually not any places at all to get hand-pulled noodles, so this was a treat. We ended up dipping as much as we could in the sauce that surrounded these noodles, including the Chongqing chicken, which even by my high heat standard definitely lived up to the 3-pepper rating on the menu board! My wife and I both agreed, we would eat these often if we could access them at home, despite the high price. The chicken was also really good, but I ended up eating it mostly alone. It was just too spicy for most at the table, and by eating it more of it myself, I paid the price later. In the end, I would not reorder this, mainly just because I'd want to try other things. The Krog street market was neat, but I do hate how expensive these food halls make things. You would imagine there would be some economic gain to restaurants using a shared space like this, but since they are trendy, it makes it cost more.

Yelp
Got some dumplings here the other day! They were pretty tasty. We got the 6 count of chicken dumplings. They were a little spicy, but not too bad.

Yelp
There are a lot of food stands to choose from while visiting Krog Street in Atlanta...it can be pretty difficult to make your choice! Gu's Dumplings, located inside of Krog Street market, is a highly rated and popular spot to enjoy top tier dumplings in Atlanta. This spot has won several awards for how tasty the dumplings are. You must order either the half order (6 dumplings for $10) or the full order (12 dumplings for $15) to start your meal at Gu's Dumplings. We went with the Half Order Pork Zhong Style Dumplings. I also ordered a "side" of the tasty and perfectly breaded Szechuan popcorn chicken for $10. To compete my meal, I ordered a side of white rice for $2. Eat your meal at Krog Street or walk to the Historic Fourth Ward Park and enjoy a picnic!
google avatar

Malikah U.

Yelp
They were flavorful. The pork filling was well-seasoned and the dumplings are in an oil/sauce, so I did not add anything additional to what they already seasoned the dumplings with. I had a half order which meant 6 dumplings for about $10. I waited about 5 minutes for them to be ready, and I sat at the market's tables to eat.

Yelp
Claiming to be the best Chinese Restaurant in Georgia, we knew we had to try out Gu's Dumplings when we visited Krog's Street Market. We ordered the Dan Dan Noodles ($14) and 12-piece pork dumplings ($15). The Dan Dan noodles were al dente, with a slight spicy kick, and topped with ground meat and cabbage. Make sure to give the bowl a mix before eating. The dumplings were yummy. Don't let the chili sauce on top scare you because it is pleasantly sweet, not spicy. This was a good choice if you are struggling to chose what to eat at the market.

Yelp
Some of the best dumplings ITP and in Atlanta. Krog Street Market must be charging them an insane amount for rent, because the prices are a bit higher than expected. $27.22 before tip for Zhong Style Noodles ($15, a bit high) and for the half order of (6) chicken dumplings ($10, WELL worth the $$) The ambiance is busy and noisy, as it's a stand/counter in Krog St, but you can find everything you want there, and more. Gu's SLAPS, and the service is quick and kind. 8.5/10, would recommend :)

Yelp
I'm in love! The best dumplings in the southeast. Spicy and delicious. This is a must have dish when I lived there and each time I visit. Great customer service and fresh dumplings.

Yelp
Was excited to try and showed up 20 minutes before close. I figured that wouldn't be an issue but after going over our order for 2-3 minutes the guy at the counter then told us they were closed...before they actually closed. Unfortunate.
google avatar

Yelp
Dumplings taste like they are from a bag. Thew sauce is pretty generic as well. Not worth the price imo. I'd rather buy a bag of frozen dumplings and make my own sauce. This is weak.

Yelp
My brother and I were visiting Atlanta for the first time and looking for something quick and delicious to grab for lunch after checking out some art along the beltline. We had planned to check out Krog Street Market anyway, so when I stumbled across some positive reviews for Gu's saying they have the best dumplings in Georgia, that settled it. I had dumplings, veggie spring rolls and an apple soda (meh, that one didn't do it for me). Overall, I'd say they lived up to the hype. The chili oil the dumplings are coated in is incredible, the dough was perfectly springy and the filling delicious. The spring rolls were equally good- with a perfectly crunchy wrapper, flavorful filling and great dipping sauce. Service was fast and friendly. We had our food in under ten minutes on a busy Saturday at lunch time (took us longer for a seat to open up than it did for the food to be ready). I'd go out of my way to come back to Gu's if I was in the area again.

Bob R.

Yelp
A friend and I ate brunch ate brunch there and enjoyed their soup dumplings. The service was excellent.

Yelp
I've been to this place a few times and I have really enjoyed their food! If you're ever craving spicy schezuan food then this is the spot. I would recommend their fries (the cilantro in it really makes the dish!), the spicy eggplant, and the chongqing chicken. Their dumplings are pretty good too. The service has overall been good - nothing to note. The reason I'm giving this a 3 star is for two reasons: 1) their food is on the pricier side, given their portions. I understand this is a popular space and most places in krog are the similar price range but I can get food just like this for a better price on Buford highway. And 2) a lot of their meat options don't come with a side of rice which is pretty standard for most Asian restaurants.
google avatar

BitLeigh V.

Yelp
Gu's is located in the Krog St market, but they also have another location on Buford Highway. Free parking is hard to come by, but there is a paid parking deck close by. I ordered a large order of their Pork Dumplings and a side of their Szechuan Spicy Popcorn Chicken. There's about a 10 minute wait for food and you just come back up to the stall and tell them your name to pick-up. The dumplings were good and the sauce is delicious that it's doused in. Always a solid choice time and time again. The Szechuan Spicy Popcorn Chicken didn't do it for me. They had some different sauces you could choose from and we got their spicy mayo. Their mayo seemed more oily than I've ever had and not in a flavor supplementing way, but in a cheap way. The chicken left a lot to be desired. Gu's is one of the better choices in Krog St Market, but prices are steep for the dumplings tbh. For sure less than 15 dumplings in that 'large' so each dumpling is going for more than a $1 each. There's way better dumplings in Atlanta, but you're paying for the convenience of Krog vs Buford Highway.

Yelp
Gu's Dumplings is located in Krog st Market. They have a great selection of food but today I wanted to try the dumplings as a self proclaimed dumpling fanatic. At Gu's you can order vegetable, pork, or chicken dumplings in a 6 or 12 count which are then boiled and tossed in their signature dumplings sauce. Service is quick and you can see right into the kitchen while they prepare meals. I got my bowl and sat in the open seating area (which can be loud but for a food hall it's expected) to indulge and was not disappointed. They were flavorful and very hot which proved they're prepared on demand. My only critiques are that the dumpling wrapper/wonton used was a bit thick in comparison to others I've had. The sauce wasn't my favorite as I like a more savory flavor but it did pair well with the order! Give it a try!

Yelp
Food: -Chengdu-style cold noodles -Zhong-style pork dumplings -Chinese sweet tea (Jia1duo1bao3 [加多宝] aka Wang2lao3ji2 [王老吉] aka 50-years-ahead-of-the-American-south) Noodles were good, highlights being refreshing, crunch bean sprouts and "al-dente" perfectly chewy noodles. Dumplings were good, but not steaming, piping-hot like I hoped. I'd like to see these dumplings boiled to-order before serving. Chili-oil for both dishes had good heat and garlic/pepper crunch. Ambiance: Nice red wooden accents and detailed food model stands out in an otherwise industrial-looking complex. Service: Popularity brings a line, but that flows down the counter well. Cashiers, chefs, and helpers are friendly. Overall, I'm glad food & beverages like this have presence at Krog Street Market, right on the Beltline.
google avatar

Tamika L.

Yelp
First, the noodles and dumplings here are spectacular! I really enjoy the level of spice on the sweet and spicy noodles. It wasn't too hot to enjoy and didn't require me to down a glass of water between each bite. The portion size is large. I was able to share the noodles easily and wouldn't imagine eating a full serving. We got the pork dumplings and they were great! That sauce that's at the bottom of the container... you're gonna want more of that! Lol I'm interested in trying the other dumplings and some of the other menu items as well. I could've made this a 4 star because the person who helped us seemed a little confused and we had to ask several times for napkins and utensils, which shouldn't have been that difficult. But I'm hoping he was just having a rough day.

Yelp
4.5/5 (Non-local Take) I really enjoyed this place. I came here while visiting a friend who lived near Norcross. It was a great mid point for us and pretty light in the afternoon customers wise. MENU (from favorite to least favorite) We loved everything we got, nothing was bad, but this is really just want my fork kept coming back to. -Veggie Dumplings: Just the right amount of filling that was well seasoned. The DUMPLING SAUCE, THE DUMPLING SAUCE, THE DUMPLING SAUCE. Listen, there is a reason why they have extra and charge you for it. It is SO good. I loved it so much I got the 12 order to go. It held up really well on the trip home and was just as good later in the day. Can't wait to try their pork ones. -Chongqing Spicy Chicken: I think the level 3 is just right when thinking about spice. I love the heat level it was a perfect amount of kick. If you are someone who loves spicy food, this is just right and you can add some chili oil to get more, if you are someone who can't do spice at all... stay away. I'm right in the middle and it was perfect. There was also a great crunch to the chicken and we ordered rice, so that helped dull the extra spice that came with the fresh peppers in the dish. Absolutely shareable as well and depending on how hungry you are, can also be enough to take away. -Stirfry String Beans: Delicioso. Beautiful color, perfect crunch, so so good with the rice. For the vegetarians and vegans, this is so perfect for yall! For people like me who are always looking to add some veggies to a meal, this is also a great main or side. Another perfect shareable dish! Szechuan French Fries: I had to do it. My curiosity got the best of me. The fries reminded me of those perfectly crispy krinkle fries that you get at stadiums. If you are a fan of Szechuan flavored things add this to your order. Unless I'm getting ready for a night of drinking or whatever I don't know if I would order this a second time. Again, everything was great, I think I would just get something else instead. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Awesome! The ladies were so lovely and helpful. It was my first time, so they helped provide some great insight and were just the right amount of attentive once the food came. OVERALL: I would absolutely come back here. It was just the perfect amount of food, a solid price and great customer service. Even the food I took away, held up well as takeaway for laterz. I am sad that rice wasn't included with the entrees, but I get it I guess.

Yelp
Alright it's more of a 3.5 than a 3. Good dumplings but I wish they offered a sweet style soy based sauce. I personally can't handle spice and it would have been nice to have a sauce to go with it. The pork dumplings were tasty but I have had better.

Yelp
Tonight, I wanted some comfort food as I was heading back home from my holiday vacation. I decided to order delivery via UberEats, which made it to my home in perfect timing. I ordered the Egg Drop Soup, a Half Order of the Pork Zhong Style Dumplings, and a side of White Rice. Egg Drop Soup ($7.70)-- standard and comforting. Mild chicken flavor in the broth + wispy strands of egg. Just what I wanted on this cold evening. Good portion, but pricey for what you're getting, in my opinion. Half Order Pork Zhong Style Dumplings ($11)-- award winning, yummy, filling. 6 dumplings come in the half order. The dough of the dumpling was soft but strong enough to keep it from falling apart. The pork filling was amazing... so flavorful! The sauce was good, but I would have liked some spice to play against the sweetness. The description of the sauce says it's sweet and spicy, but I tasted no spice at all, just sweet. Unfortunately, to add extra spice, there's a charge. Next time, I'll pay it. White Rice ($2.20)-- standard and good. The texture of the rice was perfect (soft with a little chewiness but not mushy). The price was good! This wasn't my very first Gu's experience, but it was my first in a couple years. Over all, I really enjoyed my dinner and look forward to trying more dishes!

Yelp
What a disappointment. We ordered UE and the restaurant only sent partial order. when I called back, Jane accepted responsibility and said she would get another driver to bring our food. Shockingly, the food never arrived and I never received a call back. I know it was 8:!5 on Sunday 12/31; but I asked 3x if they could make this happen. I was promised that it would arrived; I had 15 guests over. Again... nothing showed. VERY disappointed!!!!!

Letarius H.

Yelp
Waited 30 minutes for an order just for her to laugh and say she gave it to someone else. Told me to figure it out. Please check your orders, they don't care who they giving the food to.

Yelp
The dumpling was FILLED with pork and it was delicious. I wish the chili oil was a little spicier though. Service was quick and the guy at the counter was very friendly. I love the ambiance at krog too!

Yelp
Honestly best dumplings in Atlanta area. I order 12 dumplings for $15 and decide to order another 12 for later because of the taste. Service was fast. The restaurant is in like a food court tourist spot with many other restaurants to choose from. It can be very pack to find seating since all the restaurants use the space.
google avatar

Polly B.

Yelp
Meh. Was expecting so much more flavor, pizzaz based on all the hype. Dumplings were mediocre at best and their "signature" chicken dish was just awful, as it was all heat and ZERO flavor. I came all the way into the city for this? Don't bother.

Yelp
Chose this spot to eat late one evening last week. I thought it would be a good spot since I didn't have too much of an appetite and they seemed to have some smaller bites to eat. I thought the fries description looked fantastic and I'm big on fries so I got them. They were $10 so I asked if it was a larger portion and was told they were. It was given in a takeout box so it was a plentiful portion, but I still feel it was a bit pricy for French fries. I also did not taste all the flavors I was expecting. The only exception was when I ate the actual cilantro with the bite, which was good. I was also told by the guy at the register that they're known for their dumplings so I ordered them. They too were just okay to me, not great not bad. My husband got the Dan Dan noodles. They were definitely spicy, and they were good. Service for my husband was super quick, maybe 2minutes for his dumplings and noodles. Service for me for dumplings and fries was much longer, maybe 12-15min. All in all , this place was okay but if i could go back, I would try some of the other options.

Yelp
Husband dropped me off to go in & order as he was parking the truck. Ordered $42.26 worth of food plus $7.11 tip. Asked for diet coke & a water. Got my drink & then went to sit down thinking they will get the water with food. I get the food & go back to get a refill on my diet coke & ask for water again. At that time, I was told, "we are not allowed to give out water" I told him I just spent over $50.00 here. I could understand if I just walked in & ordered nothing. This is a horrible business practice & we won't be going back.

Yelp
This used to be my favorite place for years and years. I don't know what happened. They don't have 80% of my favorite items anymore -- been out for months now. Secondly, nothing tastes the same. How can you mess up your old recipes so badly?!? I've tried ordering a few times to be sure it was not a fluke, but this last time is my last time ever. This recent order of $100+ -- food was spoiled, made us sick. Threw it away! RIP Gu's. I miss you.

Yelp
I walked to Krog Market in search of a quick bite to eat. Gu's dumplings was the first stall I spotted when I walked in and want dumplings really appealed to me on a chilly day. I ordered 6 pork dumplings (less spicy) with no extra peppercorns. They were really yummy and the sauce was a perfect balance of sweet with a little kick. My dumplings didn't quite stay together and fell apart as I ate them. Some bites were all pork and others all wrapper and sauce. The result was still tasty!

Yelp
During a visit to Krog Street Market, we stopped at Gu's Dumplings! We noticed that they were voted the best dumplings in Atlanta by Food Network, and they honestly exceeded our expectations! We've had some pretty great dumplings, but these might take the cake. The dumpling-to-chicken ratio with the perfect amount of chili oil made these by far some of the tastiest dumplings we've had. I'm just from CT visiting the area, so I'm sad I won't be able to have these again, but glad I got to experience them at least once! The staff member working was also very nice and threw in an extra bottle of water for us, which we really appreciated.

Yelp
Solid Sichuan specialties w very fast service although it is rather pricey for the amount of food that is served. However this seems to be the theme @ The Krog Street Market.

Yelp
We love getting delivery from Gu's dumplings on busy days. The food travels well and is super yummy. I love all of their noodles but especially the sweet and spicy thick noodles. The dumplings are of course wonderful. Always a delight!

Yelp
I will say that the eggplant is a five out of five. It was even better the next day, putting it in the air fryer and taking the sauce and pour it on top. It is amazing and I really enjoyed the flavors. I just wish it was a little bit firmer, but that is my taste, I didn't give five stars at the springs had a bit of an aftertaste. I don't know what to associate with, but I did not finish them.

Yelp
A true GEM for a foodie! Gu's Dumplings(Kroger street market) & Gu's Kitchen (doraville) have AMAZING dumplings. I'd give 10/5 stars if I could for their zhong style dumplings (I typically order pork). Also on the menu is the always incredible chengdu cold noodles. The sweet and spicy thick noodles are homemade and such a delight; very chewy thick noodles in a divine sauce. There really is not an item I don't recommend! Truly an amazing place to eat. I'd hug Gu if I could!! Gu's is a place I HIGHLY recommend. In fact, it's the first place I recommend to anyone wanting to have a foodie experience in Atlanta.

Yelp
Gu's you snide Krog Market is a great place for dumplings. The visit started with an enjoyable interaction with the employees. They answered our questions and directed us to some tasty items. Namely, the vegetable dumplings and the pork dumplings. Both are quite good. They claim the Food Network says theirs are the best dumplings in ATL. I would definitely put these up against any others I've had in the area. When you're at Krog, grab a half dozen. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Ordered carry-out on a busy weekend evening and food was prepared and delivered in less than 30min (we are 5-10min away). The pork dumplings were delicious as always! We ordered the dumplings a little spicy, which was perfect and not overwhelmingly spicy. The cold noodles were excellently prepared and just enough spice. Gu's is consistently yummy!!

Yelp
Have to give it a zero out of 10 simply rude and unpleasant . It was over cooked and unflavored I really wish I could not only get back the money I spent but demand cooking lessons for them. I'm so sad I let fomo trick me into throwing my money in the garbage.
