Very disappointing. The decor was nice. However, the menu is limited. I've never been to an Italian restaurant where practically all the pasta dishes were spicy. When I asked if I could get any of them without the chili or other hot spice additions, the waiter said "no." The sauces were pre-made and already had the "hot" elements in them. There were literally only 2 kinds of non-spicy pasta. One was Rock Shrimp Gnocchi in a "lemon" sauce. I ordered it. There was hardly any rock shrimp in the dish, and the creme sauce was bland with no lemon taste at all. My friend got the Oxtail Tagliatelle which was okay, but not great. Both were quite small portions. When we asked for bread, the waiter gave us each a very small piece of bread -- as if they were rationing it! We ordered a "piece of cheese" as an appetizer (a piece is $7 or you can get 5 pieces for $25), that came with balsamic black cherries and 3 teeny, thinly-sliced pieces of crusty bread. Not enough to even put the small spread of cheese on. Although it was meager, the cheese and cherries were the only good part of the meal. It's not an inexpensive place - and the portions were small. Add to that, the waiter had a bit of an attitude. I've been to numerous other Italian restaurants in the 3rd Street area, and they were all better. We were unimpressed - and left hungry, to boot.
