Super fresh ingredients! Got the falafel wrap, Greek fries, gyro schwarma plate, and choclava. Hefty portions for the price and everything tasted pretty good. Place was clean and casual vibes. Would definitely come back if I was in the area and wanted a quick Mediterranean fix.

I ordered Chicken Saj Shawarma, Classic Chicken Gyro and Greek Fries. As the ingredients were displayed, they were so fresh. Also, the portions were very generous. However, the foods were just about average. Few tips I would like to add, 1) you can choose either white or wheat pita bread for non-shawarma sandwiches, 2) sandwiches with Shawarma comes only with tortilla, not pita bread. This place is right next to the Swedish hospital building. It’s quite small, but clean and the accessibility was great. Also, I was very impressed by the staffs how they were willing to help me understand the difference between the menus and nice. Overall, it was a pleasant visit, but I’d love to check out other gyro places.

I wanted to see how this place has a 5 star review so I wanted to try their food. The place was so clean and the service was bad. I tried their falafel which I felt was undercooked and bitter than usual. Their hummus looked very appetizing. It's really hard to find parking in that location. For vegetarians this place offers a few options like Falafel rollup or Hummus roll up with a bunch of toppings and French fries.

Seriously how do you mess up Gyro Shawarma? Ordered a plate with pita, the meat itself was cold. Asked the guys to heat it up on the flattop, they couldn’t understand English. Rice was also cold and didn’t taste great. Salad was good, hummus was meh. Coming to the main dish, gyro shawarma, did I say the meat was cold. It did not taste like meat, tasted very doughy. White sauce (garlic sauce) was ok, hot sauce was kinda like Asian hot sauce not something for gyro. Being from NYC and having eaten halal guys, Mamouns shawarma 💯 times, I know my gyro/shawarma, and this was absolutely horrendous. I was craving for some grilled meat and this was very disappointing. For $21, this was a robbery. Asked for Baklava, it looked tired and sad. Asked how old it was, the guy said its from yesterday. Not sure what else can I say. Cheers!!!

Excellent food with plenty to eat. The fries were great, and I loved my gyro. They also have a great lychee drink that I recommend!

Amazing Mediterranean food!! Such a perfect choice for a quick, healthy meal. We had the veggie plate and the gyro plate, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Portions sizes were perfect and the prices were fair. Super friendly staff as well, we’ll definitely be back :)

got the Gyro Saj Shawarma & Greek Fries this contained two main things - the sandwich and the greek fries first, i thought the sandwich was pretty good while not using pita bread, which is typical for a gyro and usually what i prefer, this place used more of a tortilla for the breading instead i did think this bread was toasted very well and the overall outside of the wrap was good as far as the inside, i very much liked the way the ingredients were packed into the wrap while it may not look super big, each half of the sandwich was packed really tightly with a lot of different ingredients - which made it really filling this also let the flavors really combine since they were mixed up in close proximity inside the sandwich the sandwich also scores high in portion size - it really had a lot of meat and overall ingredients the meat inside the sandwich was good - not great where this disappointed me a bit was in the greek fries - there wasn't enough white sauce the cheese was decent - but the lack of sauce made the fries not really stick to the cheese that much a lot of fries were just dry so these were still decent, but i've certainly had a lot better i did like the crisp on these Sandwich: 8.5/10 Greek Fries: 7/10 Overall: 8.15/10

Chicken was overcooked and dry/crumbly, rice didn’t have much flavor, gave a takeout container when I dined in, the portions of toppings didn’t make sense for how much of the main was in the entrée but they were well seasoned. At least the serving size was good for the cost, so I’ll give it that.

Great spot for a quick lunch. Lots of folks ordered online and picked up to go while we were there. There is a full vegan section with a variety of options. Some of the items on the menu are huge!!! Ask ahead of time if you're only looking for a small bite to get some direction. All the toppings are right in front so you can see what you're getting before you order. Food was really good and a great value for the quantity.

Quick and delicious food!! Would def recommend coming here. The greek fries were sooo good, not overly salty and the tzatziki was distributed nicely-- even the bottom of the fries were covered too.

Had the gyro plate + garlic sauce delivered via UberEats. Given the great reviews for this place, I found it a little underwhelming and the sauce a little too watery, though the meat did have decent flavor. Maybe it would've been better dine-in? Wasn't the best Mediterranean takeout I've had in Seattle but would be willing to give it another shot.

Ambiance Casual, usually quiet Food I normally do takeout here because it's quick and easy. I've come here on a couple of occassions where I did not feel like cooking wanted something delicious! Upon arriving at the counter, the young chefs greeted me with earnest, helpful smiles and recommended the chicken shawarma and Greek fries as some of their top menu items. When I requested hot sauce and a bag, they exclaimed "Definitely!" and assisted me as much as possible. The food was just as impressive as the service. The chicken was flavorful and aromatic, the fries were fresh and warm, and the garlic sauce was irresistible. The platter was well-rounded, featuring a refreshing salad, creamy hummus, and warm pita bread. The portions were generous, and I had enough leftovers for an entire extra meal. On my next visit, I definitely want to try the lamb gyro, cut fresh off the spit. With fresh, delicious lunch served in large portions at a great price, accompanied by friendly service and kind smiles, I can't help but sing Gyro Saj's praises. I hope many more people give it a try and leave similarly satisfied.

A solid 4 star with potential for an increase in the future. This place is located right next to Swedish hospital in first hill so it's convenient for those working nearby. It's clean and spacious. I do like that they have all the ingredients visible so you can see what you're getting. I got the gyro shawarma plate which came with meat, rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. For $15, it's a pretty good size portion. The pita bread was warm and soft. The hummus was a little salty for my taste but it's not too bad. The meat was tender and the seasoning was just right. The rice was a little unexpected for me. It had a lot of spices in it that it was competing with the flavors of the meat. I wasn't expecting the rice to be so strong so I'm not sure if I like it or not. The salad was good. Definitely would need to come back to try their other food as they do have some items that I typically don't see at other Mediterranean places. The people here is really nice and service is pretty fast. I do wish they get more business in the future

We stopped by for a quick bite when we were in the neighborhood. It's next to Swedish Cancer institute in First Hill so you can find street parking or park in adjacent parking garage for $2 in 30 minutes. The ambiance was fast causal yet warm and inviting. Many seatings were available and the staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered chicken shawarma wraps, a Gyro plate, French fries, baklava and 2 bottles of drinks. After we ordered at the cashier, the staff brought it to our table. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Gyro plate was one of the popular dishes and the meat was tender and lightly seasoned. The pita was soft and warm. I really loved the crinkle cut fries and saffrons rice with spices. We really enjoyed every bite. After finishing, we put away the trays by the door. Great experience and we will be back!

Ordered chicken shawarma and baba ghanoush wrap. Good value for the portions. Saj bread is average quality, chicken spice blend was too heavy on pepper. Baba ganoush was more watery than I expected. The gyro bread is very good, and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. Clean restaurant. Service was fast, 5 minutes from order to finish at lunch time. If price and speed are your main concern, this place is good. But the shawarma is not quite right.

I had Gyro Saj bookmarked because of an earlier compelling post from fellow Elite friend, Elizabeth. I set my gps from work in Woodinville for the best route to try Gyro Saj on Seattle's First Hill (12/14/22) via 522W to I-405S to 520W to I-5S and took the Denny/Stewart exit via Boren to Madison, easy peasy. However with the ongoing road construction, finding street parking was not. So I opted to park in an adjacent parking garage and luckily Gyro Saj was right at the corner of Madison and Summit. It was bustling because of lunch rush and broadcasting the second half of a World Cup match on the flat screen. Convenient location to major hospitals and for students from Seattle University and O'Dea High School. I placed an order for a Classic Gyro and baklava. Nice that water or hot tea was also available while dining onsite. My order was prepped with such efficiency, I was able to savor a delicious lunch prior to an eye appointment at the Nordstrom Tower. Very fortuitous and convenient! Their Classic Gyro was prepared with such care - succulent portions of gyro meat, fresh crisp lettuce and tomatoes. I had to pick out the red onions though to prevent onion breath. Deft addition of yogurt sauce was the perfect touch. All of this was wrapped nicely in a soft warmed pita. It was so generously packed that using a fork was useful. The baklava was also a large triangle with tender layers of honey, nuts, and phyllo. It was spot on, fresh and not cloyingly sweet. Terrific find! Definitely recommended!

I went here today to try out the Gyro Saj Schwarma and some Greek fries. I also got a mango lassi drink since it's quite a heavy meal and I needed something to wash it down with. The mouthwatering schwarma was quite delicious and you really cannot go wrong with the price point it's at! Great value and fantastic doner. You'll easily get your Mediterranean fix here! There was some nice crunch provided with the vegetables and wrap, which adds to the entire experience. Now I've never had greek fries before, but the Greek fries here were amazing! Generous heapings of garlic sauce and feta cheese topped with some herbs and some spicy powder atop some seasoned fries equals a good time! It's simply a taste of heaven itself! At the end of it all, I was left struggling to finish it as it's quite a lot of food. I was in a food coma for a long time today after the meal but it was definitely worth it! There's street parking too, so come by and try a taste of the Mediterranean! I'm still shrugging off my food coma as I type this haha.

My company loves to order from here and I understand why. I had the gyro plate. The gyro meat was perfectly cooked and had a nice char on the outside, making it crispy and flavorful. The accompanying vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the rice was fluffy and fragrant. The portion size was generous, making it a great value for the price. The service was also excellent, with friendly staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our needs. Overall, I highly recommend Gyro Saj for anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine. Their gyro plate was delicious, and I also love their hummus, pita, baklava, and dolmas!

The servers/chefs were friendly and the restaurant itself was fairly clean. I got a Schwarma plate, Choclava and Balava. The portions were sizable. In terms of flavor, the hummus, Greek salad, and rice were nice and flavorful. I wished the flavoring of the meat had more Mediterranean spices. The meat tasted and had a consistency similar to a herbed flavor sausage. Overall a solid experience. I would recommend getting a schwarma wrap as opposed to a plate as it's cheaper and you'd get all the flavors in one bite.

*Take out* Ordered Gyro Shawarma and Chicken Saj Wrap. The shawarma was just fine. Average, nothing special. It was more fusion than authentic. Dip didn't feel fresh either.

He apologized to us for the wait as he was the only one working that night. Also gave us a complimentary snack. He's an absolute gem. Found our new shawarma fix! Ps. The restaurant is super clean with comfortable seating. The server wore gloves. There was more chicken on my plate and sandwich than a Thanksgiving meal! Just go now and thank me later :)

Convenient spot to grab lunch if you're in the first hill area! They're really quick and had my food within 10 minutes of me ordering. Prices are super reasonable too. Came here as a treat-myself Friday lunch and tried out the chicken schwarma plate and some Greek fries. Everything felt very authentic, which was not a surprise after I learned that the manager came here from Jordan in the last few years. Even though I ordered my food to go, I was surprised by how nicely presented everything was packed, from the schwarma itself to the side salad, hummus, and pita. I also grabbed a mango lassi from their drinks section and grabbed a baklava a friend, who said it was the best they've had.

The food was good. Service was good. Seemed a little expensive for environment. Definitely no parking.

A hidden gem in the area! One of the best veggie focused Mediterranean sandwiches I've had so far: I tried out the Veggie Saj and it came out so well and tasted amazing - the cauliflower and falafel is full of flavor. The business is looking for more support so if you're in the area and looking for a quick hearty bite, stop by this place! The staff is very welcoming

The food and ambiance are three-star for me. I wouldn't go here again, unless i am passing by and hungry. But the reason for upping one star is that i saw how warm-hearted the staff was. When the homeless person came in, they gave him a takeout and water. Such small act of kindness is what sustains our world.

Got the gyro plate and choclava for lunch and enjoyed it. Service was very friendly, the place is extremely clean, and the food is good. The rice was cooked perfectly, not too soft and had a nice chew to it. It also had a spice mixture that was truly unique, earthy, and warming. You'll need to try it for yourself. The garlic sauce is great and went well on everything, and the hummus tastes freshly made. Even the side salad was good and helped cut the richness of the meal. They also warm the pita perfectly to accompany your meal. The choclava is rolled baklava with some chocolate drizzled on top. It's a good idea and is filled with nuts, but I would like it more if it was sweetened with a little honey. I'll be back to try the chicken. Recommend checking it out.

Service was okay. Not something memorable but they did gifted me with a side of hot sauce when I didn't order it with my order. The food was okay. The chicken was tender and flavorful but the tomato in my salad was soggy. All other veggies (lettuce and onion were very fresh). A great portion of food for the price. Very casual ambiance kind of like a fast food restaurant aka subway or chipotle. I've had amazingly good halal / Mediterranean food before. This place did not meet my expectations personally.

Average gyros. If you live within a short walk or work around here definitely a good place to go for lunch. Otherwise wouldn't go out of my way for it. One time on a Sunday I ordered online and then walked over at the time my order was supposed to be ready. It wasn't ready and the guy working was just on his phone. He made it within a minute of me saying I had an online order though so wasn't a big deal Overall good food but nothing extraordinary.

Delicious and very fast service gyros and shawarma. The beef and lamb shawarma is particularly tasty. So are the dolmas. These guys are just as fast, if not faster than, Jimmy John's, and are just about the same price depending on what you get over there. And way tastier. It's right outside the Swedish Cancer Institute, making it super convenient for those of us there for treatment. Chill shop. Not too busy usually, and if it is, you can get it to go and head just a little bit past the Institute's front to eat outside. There's plenty of retaining walls around the landscaping to plop down at.

This place was some of the best food I've had in Seattle. The food was fast and fresh. I can't recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a delicious meal.

I had two sides, falafel and the hummus. They were excellent on taste, but You need to stick to the menu, I wanted 8 falafels, just the falafel but had to order the 2 sides and the two salads that comes with it were just a waste. The hummus side came with only 1 flat bread, it needs at least 3 or 4 pieces of flat bread to be able to finish the hummus... wasted most of it as I didn't want to just eat it by itself by the spoon full... that said 7.50$ for a single flat bread is wasteful and $$$

Best Gyro in Seattle, I have eaten here multiple times and they never disappoint. Don't think twice about going here. Food is amazing, Staff is amazing, and service is quick.

Came by for lunch today and got treated to the Gyro Saj Shawarma wrap (lamb + beef) and Greek fries -- both were phenomenal! The wrap was my absolute favorite as the meat was bountiful and juicy with a nice crunch to the wrap & some fresh and pickled veggies to balance the hot, savory wrap. The Greek fries were so fresh and topped with a delicious garlic sauce and feta -- I was worried the sauce would be too much but they have perfected their garlic sauce as it has depth of flavor without making you feel like you'll have garlic breath all day. What's even better is their attention to detail: the style of fry they chose was crinkle cut to carefully hold the delicious sauce. The cooks were also super friendly and meticulous in the food preparation (which is open, btw!). All in all, I'm thrilled to add this place to my go tos. Not only that, it's probably my favorite shawarma spot in Seattle now! I'm so excited for this business to continue thriving. If you're thinking about going in or ordering delivery, just do it already!

This place has customer service and excellent food. We got two orders of the class chicken Gyros, both of them had a good amount of meat in them and were very fresh. love that its also open late

This place has incredible vegan and vegetarian options. The baba ganoush is very creamy and well-seasoned. I also like how the falafel isn't dry or dense but it's crispy and fluffy on inside.

I love this place, it's one of the best hidden gems in Seattle for middle eastern food. The gyro, Greek fries, and lassi drinks are all you need and it's super affordable. It's also owned by middle eastern people, which adds to the authenticity. Great place, good people, authentic food, and affordable prices...it doesn't get any better than that people.

Quick service. For Seattle criteria it's relatively good. They don't have Saj bread as they name may suggest.

ordered the chicken gyro. Well, I could have used the chicken to patch tires; it was sooooo tough. The fries were terribly uncooked and limp. Viagra wouldn't have helped those poor excuses for fries. They, also, messed up the order and I didn't realize it until I got home. Pleasant enough service; but, I will not be coming back. The crows in Capitol Hill are going to get the fries-hey, they eat road kill.

Quick, quality, and friendly service! We love all the food here too! My fav is the gyro fries and the kabab platter! In a great location near all the hospitals perfect for employees, caretakers, and patients in the area! Plus they are the delivery apps for everyone else in the Seattle area!

We were on Madison an hour ago and we decided to stop at your place and take home a couple of gyros for dinner. We were excited and we expected to give you a great review. What a mistake! We will NEVER be back and we are telling everyone what happened. First off, you cheated us. Only one other person was in the restaurant and she received all the attention from you. We ordered TWO chicken gyros with one order of fries and, although we were taking the food home, we added a substantial tip. When we got home you only put ONE gyro in the bag. We paid twice the price we should have paid and it was not worth it. The chicken was dry and tough, the fries were very poor, and the taste of the gyro was not even good enough to be average. Very, very disappointing. This was an experience we will not repeat. Learn to respect all your customers and learn to give the customers what they order and what they pay for. We feel insulted.

WOW! Mouthwatering chicken saj shawarma - best chicken shawarma I've had in awhile!! If you're a fan of Mamnoon shawarma, definitely check out Gyro Saj - flavorful, juicy, with fresh ingredients. Was in the area for doctor appointments and SO glad I checked out Gyro Saj. Delicious gyro wraps - highly recommend the saj shawarma wraps, which are heat-pressed (think panini press) for a slightly crunchy exterior on a delicious wrap. Service is fast and friendly, perfect for to go lunches. Pricing is reasonable. Highly recommend!

Let me start off by saying the food is scrumptious... I was skeptical of going to a shwarma spot in cap hill because i've had some of the best shwarma in the world thankfully to traveling the Eastern part of this world. However Gyro saj did not disappoint!! food was perfect! Not to mention the Customer Service being out of this world! The man who works behind the counter is a one man army! He handles orders with ease and swiftly. Each order getting tender love and care. The ambience of the store is beautiful as he is playing music sang by Arabian artists from all over the world... Not only that but all the tables are always clean and ready to dig in on. He is truly great.
