I’ve been here twice now and both times have been amazing and food is always fresh and delicious. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend.

Aaron was amazing! He had the best vibe — super friendly, helpful, and honestly made the night feel special. He explained everything so well (this was my first time at Korean BBQ), and he just made it easy and fun. He even remembered a couple little things we mentioned and followed up on them. That kind of attention really stood out. Highly recommend asking for him!

Google
Always a fan of Gyu-Kaku, it’s my first time to dine in at the west loop location. Our server was friendly and attentive. However, I found a short hair at my bottom of the rice bowl. I have super long hair. It was so disgusting because I almost finished all the rice. I couldn’t eat anymore. Our server helped change a bowl of rice but my stomach wasn’t feel good anymore so I stopped eating. The manager was at the front being host, but she didn’t show up at table or offer any help. Very disappointed.

Google
My first appointment of the day was delayed by almost an hour. I was starting to hear my stomach grumble. So, why not, look up restaurant week menus to see if there was a lunch spot near my next appointment. Gyu-Kaku seemed like the best menu for my $30. I’ve never had Japanese BBQ (only Korean). I was welcomed in and was seated immediately. The music was some fun 80s-90s rock. Service was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Miso soup, salad with a ponzu dressing, steamed pork dumplings with a garlic chili oil, followed by spicy beef and pork that you grill at the table. A big bowl of rice accompanied my proteins. And then green tea ice cream. I only had one bite of dessert because I was so stuffed. It was a great experience. Delicious. Friendly service. I’m already planning to go back.

Google
Man this place was great. Everything was phenomenal. And it's reasonably priced too. And I mean every single thing was good, the salad, the miso soup, the quality of the meat, the rice, the kimchi, the beer. I think I have found my new go to spot for Japanese BBQ. 🔥 The manager Jaime is super cool, and really hooked me up.

Google
This place was great! We left the Kaiser Tiger due to a bad experience with the wait staff. This place was down the street and looked good. We all loved it. The wait staff was top notch especially our server Aaron. Everything we ate was delicious and came out very fast. It was a perfect example of how a restaurant experience in downtown Chicago should be. Thank You!

Google
Great little spot with a good vibe and a diverse menu. It's clean, staff are friendly and there's something on the menu for all tastes. The Ramen and the Bibembap are awesome.

Google
I had an amazing experience thanks to our server, Luis! From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. He had great recommendations, kept everything running smoothly without hovering, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. It's rare to find someone so professional and personable at the same time. What really stood out was how Javier, the manager, came by to check on us personally, making sure everything was perfect. That extra touch showed a real commitment to hospitality and made our visit even more memorable. DEFINITELY COMING BACK!

Yelp
FOOD - Meat lovers - All the meats are definitely good quality! Most of them are unflavored, which I personally enjoy, but some of the seasoning have light seasoning and still really good flavor. - Salad - the salad has a good dressing on top that makes the veggies taste flavorful. Veggies are crispy and delicious. - Sukiyaki Fried Rice - The rice is really crispy and it comes in a hot stone, which keeps it nice and warm. There's nice flavor to it and the beef is seasoned well too! - Spicy Tuna Volcano - I actually really like this one. The rice is crispy and the flavor of the spicy tuna is great. It's not like typical spicy. You know there's a little bit more of a sweeter flavor to it which makes it taste good. - Lychee Berry Fizz - The drink isn't as strong in alcohol as I expected, so that was good! Very fruity flavor and tasted very fresh. - Chicken Karaage - the chicken was super crunchy, which made it really good. The sauce also has a bit of spice and good flavor which made it all taste really well together. VIBES I've been to the Plano, TX location which gives a lot more of skilled vibes. This Japanese barbecue place gives a lot more casual vibes. On the second floor, they have a bar area where you can sit and wait and order appetizers which I think is a great concept. SERVICE Service is great overall! They're good at giving recommendations and explaining the menu thoroughly. They also had a deal where you are if you downloaded the app, you could get free ice cream or beef toro belly!

Yelp
Overall positive experience. We opted for the premium AYCE option ($68 pp) which offers a wide variety of meat options. I liked that you could switch up the marinades or request no marinade at all. Our favorites were the umakara yaki beef and toro beef which are thinner cuts. And the cucumber salad paired well with them! The rest of the beef options were too chewy for my taste. Service was prompt and atmosphere was pleasant. I also liked that the grills have built-in vents, so my hair and clothes didn't smell like grease afterwards! My only complaint is that I would have preferred a table with at least two grills instead of just one to better accommodate my party of six.

Yelp
Came here last night.. was not my favorite experience. I usually love the Asian bbq places but this one was a bit different. Good things: our waiter Luiz, was great. (Not sure if I'm spelling his name right) The spring rolls & gyozas were delicious. The garlic spinach was also really really good. Not so Good things: Surprisingly I did not like the meats. There was one meat that was fine but that's crazy bc there were a lot of meats. I also assumed that I would season my own meat or make my sauces or something but the meat is apparently seasoned for you. It didn't really seem like it. &The sauces were just ok. If you come with a group, you all have to order the same type of all you can eat tier. This can present challenges but my friend group is very agreeable so we worked with that. Also, apparently they usually only give you 1 grill for a group of 6 but 2 of our friends asked the waiter & we were able to use the other grill on the side of us which was good. This place is also the first restaurant where I did not like their green tea ice cream. Idk. I just expected more for the price we paid for sure.

Yelp
The food was good which is reflective of my stars. Grilling myself and figuring the menu out not so bad. I got two prime meats and the slithers were decent sizes. The garlic rice was good but it continued to cook in the stone bowl since I couldn't consume it fast. So the bottom layer burned. I had some leftovers as I couldn't finish it all alone. The initial customer service was not grea. People watched me waiting at the door area and never acknowledged me. The ambiance is ok as you are pretty close to other parties present. Overall I stopped in for lunch if nothing else went right I'm at least grateful that the food was good. I would probably go back for lunch again but it wouldn't be a regular spot for me.

Yelp
We came here for dinner after my sister's graduation and they were able to take our reservation of 8 early. We were super grateful that we didn't have to wait another hour to eat. Upon being seated, they broke us up into 2 separate table as opposed to the 1 long table that was connected. It felt odd only for them to tell us later we can switch if we wanted after we got settled. For both sides of the table we decided to do the prepackaged meal for 4 ppl for $170 each since we had a party of 8 and are at 2 separate tables. The courses kept coming with all the appetizers coming out quickly, and the meats taking longer to come out. We had ordered extra veggies to help break it up but we had to ask for it a few times before we got it. The menu ended up being most beef, 1 pork, 1 chicken, and 1 shrimp. It was fine but a lot of it was really small fine pieces while the others were really big. It felt like the consistency wasn't quite there and made it hard to manage cooking times. Our server was getting busy and we started to have to wait longer and longer for things to come out. After 2 hours we decided just to forgo cooking our dessert and head home because we were full. Our waiter quickly brought our check, and we noticed there was no gratuity on it. Which was surprise but we tipped on top of it. Overall we had an okay experience. I have been to the one on Ohio and think their meats are marinated better are more flavorful.

Yelp
Apparently my daughter doesn't mind when I cook, as long as I do the cooking while at Gyu-Kaku! We typically order one of the all-you-can eat tiers. There are three tiers, ranging in price and options. Order as much as you want, as often as you want, from your selected tier. We ordered a variety of steak, shrimp, beef and pork, along with noodles, broccoli, and white rice. When we were seated, the hostess turned on the cooking station and gave a safety precaution. She let us know how to operate the heat levels, which came in handy by the time I cooked our last entree and the fire started coming to life! It's especially cute in the late spring/summer when the doors and windows are completely open. Great time; chill vibes.

Yelp
Things are not what they used to be so I'll try another location hence forth. Not enough staff. More patrons that can't be managed with staff count. Higher prices that I'll manage but not when service suffers.

Yelp
Nice Japanese BBQ spot in Fulton Market that will hit the spot when you have that meat craving. ATMOSPHERE/ARCHITECTURE: 8/10 Overall chill vibe, making for a good spot to hangout with your friends. Seating is decent, probably accommodating 50-60 people. A lot of the seats are old and torn up though and probably should be replaced. SERVICE: 10/10 Every time we come here, we run into Daniel on staff and he is awesome. Friendly, helpful and overall great personality. We feel well served and taken care of here. FOOD: 9/10 There are 3 tiers of all you can eat on the menu with each tier adding on more meat and seafood options. Most of the times I go for the 1st or 2nd tier option and overall the 2nd tier is the best bang for your buck in my opinion. Meat is well marinated and of good quality. No real complaints from me here. Side options are great as well. Corn cheese is a crowd favorite. Cannot go wrong with edamame either. VALUE: 7/10 The all you can eat value is pretty good. They also have an app that gets you coupons and points for discounts that are quite good. PROBABILITY OF RETURN: 10/10 Already been here countless times. TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT: Eat! Eat all that you can! OVERALL: 9/10

Yelp
My cousin and I had a great dining experience here. Our waiter was Luis and he was fantastic, we had more food than we knew what do with. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I really enjoyed this restaurant. They have seats by the doors that open up to the outside which makes it a great spot to seat and people watch. I highly recommend this place for any type of date, lunch or dinner. I went during lunch and they have a lunch special for 2 or 3 proteins, which is more than enough food. The lunch comes with salad, white rice, and soup. Our waitress was Cassidy and she was very nice and attentive. I definitely give her 5 stars. The food was good. You definitely have to learn where to place the meat on the grate. Next time I will do better at not burning some of my meat....

Yelp
This place was so good! The service was great as they put us on the next available table and kept us updated throughout. The food was so filling and tasty as each dish melted in our mouth. We got the two person course meal and got many delicious dishes. We also got a strawberry parfait as a dessert! The ambiance is nice as there's decent seating with nice wood interior.

Yelp
How can you not enjoy yourself with Japanese BBQ? I have been to the Streeterville location, as well as the Randolph location but this is my first review. We stopped in early Friday evening without a reservation and were seated with the caveat that we could dine for 90 minutes. There is a comprehensive menu with many options but to make it simple we chose the Value course which includes salad, soup, edamame, rice, vegs and an assortment of six plates of meat to grill. In all honesty this was more food than we needed. The grill is in the center of the table and most meats grilled fairly quickly. We left the chicken and pork on til it was very well cooked but it was not dry. They advised the vegs could be cooked 1-2 minutes each side and that was a major underestimate as the pieces were thick. I would have liked more vegs, maybe include onions and some thin sliced eggplant (would be nice) and more shishito peppers. One of the meats (not sure which) was fatty (which is intentional) so occasionally flames flared up. I enjoyed that I like the smoky smell and staff did come by to replace the grills as they start to build up from charred meat. The combination of meats was nice (beef, pork, chicken), although if I'm honest I'm not sure exactly which I was eating with the exception of chicken. Next time I would order just what I wanted instead of a set menu. There was a nice breeze as the windows were all open to the street and we were fairly well spaced from other tables. I imagine in winter it can get pretty warm and smoky with all grills going. We received food fairly quickly after ordering and many of the courses all at once. We easily grilled and ate everything in less than 90 minutes. I saw a table whose grill did not seem to be really hot and the staff kept saying if it's not working we can move you rather than just immediately reseating them (they had only just got started and to do this would have been easy). The women's bathroom could have been cleaner - the floors were very sticky, Overall we had a very enjoyable time. Everything was cooked perfectly ( how could it not be--We did the cooking), tasty, and a fun experience. The Hokkaido special course sounded really tempting but it would have been far too much for us to eat. If you have a group, make a reservation.

Yelp
This place was AMAZING! My boyfriend surprised a foodie like me with a visit here and I was so excited! Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! I love "experience" restaurants like this where you grill your own food and I love how they have their menu structured so it is easy to read and you know exactly what is included. Our server was outstanding, and she did a great job with her table touches and making sure our needs were met in a timely manner. I was STUFFED from all the food that is included! It was expensive, but well worth it! It had a great intimate experience and even though we were sitting close to others, you still felt like you had your privacy when having dinner conversation. I can't wait to go back!

Kevin T.

Yelp
We arrived at 7:45pm with a party of three and were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. No one asked for our name, just told us to sit down. After watching at least four parties who arrived after us get seated, I finally went up to check--only to be told we weren't even on the list. At that point, we'd been waiting nearly 50 minutes. Only then did they say we'd be seated "immediately," but the damage was done. The lack of organization and basic courtesy made the whole experience feel dismissive and disrespectful.
google avatar

Tuan T.

Yelp
Wow! That was mediocre as heck. Got 2x orders beef rice bowl and 2x karage chicken and paid $40 for a disappointing meal.

Yelp
I really liked this place. I had been to other locations, but never this location. I think the only let down was that they didn't have the jelly sake that I had at the Lake View and Streeterville locations. However, I got a mango Bacardi mojito that was also good. I still wish they had the jelly sake, though. One thing I liked about this place was the ambiance. It had greenery on the walls and it was more intimate than the other locations. The other locations had you sitting very close to other parties, where it was more spread out here. We got the Meat Lover's course for 2. It may not look like a lot of food, but it's spread out so you get pretty full. We also upgraded the white rice for the Beef Sukiyaki Bibimbap and it was really good! The Japanese Chicken Karaage tastes similar to Chik-fil-a chicken but a little better. The Gyu-sushi was really good. It tasted like teriyaki steak on rice. I personally didn't like the salad dressing. It tasted very mustardy to me, and I don't like mustard. For service, the food came out really quickly as soon as you order, which is nice. The meats may not all come out at the same time. Some of the people dropping off the plates would tell you the times and some wouldn't. So I did have to ask how long some of them had to be cooked. Overall, I was pleased with this experience and we will be probably go back!

Yelp
We have been to all of the Gyu Kaku locations in Chicago and we loved them. This one has terrible service. We had a reservation for 630pm booked for over a month. I even put a note in saying 5 adults and a child with a high chair. We get there 5 min before and the restaurant isn't packed but there are a few big parties. They took 40 mins! yes FORTY minutes to sit us!!!. They kept say 15 mins and the line formed out the door with parties coming for reservations. Then once seated we're told you have the table for 2h only. Once seated we ordered immediately just their holiday menu for 6. Keep it simple. another 20 min before food comes out. No drinks either! No server to tell us how to cook the food or what it comes with. We added on another dish because we were unaware it didn't come with something's and they never came. Finally got our drinks and food. Of course the food and drinks are delicious. Everything is good and it's so fun to cook on the table grill. Once the bill came no one came to get my card. I had to flag down other servers to cash us out. We won't come back to this restaurant. Food good but service poor and nothing special about it. The lake view on broadway and the river north ones are better venue, cuter and more romantic ambiance, amazing service (just check my other reviews), with the same great food.

Yelp
Visited for Chicago restaurant week, but ended up doing the bottom tier all you can eat. It was very, very good. You can order a few items at a time, it comes out quite quick. When your grill gets dirty, they swap it out. S'mores are a childhood favorite so I was VERY excited to see them on the dessert menu. We've walked by so many times, and this was my first time visiting but we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I loooooove this place, especially this location! The service is always pretty good! They move pretty quickly too and they rarely make mistakes! The food is soooo good, especially a lot of the beefs, the fried rice, the salad, and the chicken. My friend and I did the meat lovers and added a few things, overall the bill came out to like $75/pp including drinks and taxes! I absolutely love the atmosphere as well, it's always pretty chill with a nice consistent flow of business. I've been back a few times since this visit, which was back in March. Absolutely love this place!

Yelp
Daisy was awesome. All you can eat is a good deal for the variety of food. And the draft beers come in a frosty mug.

Yelp
This was my first time to eat here or anywhere like this. First, it's delicious. Next, it's fun to cook your stuff exactly like you want it. Excellent service and great food. I highly recommend.

Yelp
5-stars as always. This location is by far my favorite. Amazing staff, amazing food, extremely clean and well taken care of. Gyu Kaku is my favorite restaurant to visit in Chicago and Denver!
google avatar

Jocelyn H.

Yelp
My new favorite spot to celebrate with friends! Make sure to make a reservation because they're always busy. I first came here for Restaurant Week and got their lunch special for $25 (half Gyu-Kaku salad, dumplings, Yaki-Shabu beef and spicy pork, asparagus, plus the s'mores!). I think this restaurant gives you a bang for your buck! I would stick with their combos rather than the all-you-can-eat but if you have a big appetite, you always have the option to go all the way. With the AYCE, I don't think you have many appetizers to choose from and I actually think the apps are one of the best dishes. I would recommend the salad, chicken karaage, dumplings, and spicy tuna volcano for appetizers. For the meat, I would recommend the toro beef and the sirloin. I didn't get to try many of the other fancier meats but I'm sure they would taste great. The staff is very friendly and there's almost always some rewards program going on so make sure to sign up for those.

Yelp
Great lil go to. Pricy if you don't go for happy hour. GREAT FAMILY RESTAURANT. Fun for kids, the elders as well.

Yelp
Came here as a party of 4 on a Friday 9pm. We had made reservations beforehand because it gets busy. We opted for the Yakiniku course which is $150 and serves 4 people and some mango sangrias. It was actually pretty filling for me and three guys. The kalbi, hanger steak, and beef were my favorite. Something that was annoying though was that the fire was super strong on one portion of the grill and weak everywhere else, so it was tough cooking our meat. The sangrias were also delicious. Not too strong, which is good with me! Another thing to mention is that our waitress dropped the hot grill when changing it out which knocked over our drinks and ruined some meats. Thank goodness the grill didn't touch any of us. The manager gave us a 10% discount and one free meat, which I'm not sure if it was enough compensation, but we took it. Lastly, everything is pretty pricy (over 50 per person). The fact they charge 3.50 for a small bowl of rice is a little too much. Overall, good experience except for all that.

Abigail C.

Yelp
shoutout to our server Daisy, it was our first time here and she was great at explaining the variety of options on the menu. she was very attentive as she kept checking up on us. would definitely come back!
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
This spot is very aesthetically pleasing and decorated well! My friend and I ordered the "Happy Hour" meal and we were full. Though the food presentation and the appetizers were fantastic, I was not very satisfied with the quality of the meats. Our favorite among what we ordered is the angus beef rib. If I return, I will order other meats from their menu.
google avatar

Elle L.

Yelp
This place is so yummy and has so many options. Customer service was great and the ambiance is soooo pretty. I for sure would go here. Very much a little more upscale than your regular kbbq
google avatar

Kevin Z.

Yelp
This location is better than the one in River North. Service is still slow, but the quality of the meat is higher here. And circulation is better so there's not so much smoke lingering. More parking available here, too. Nothing to complain about except slow service.

Benjamin B.

Yelp
Irena my server was great throughout the dinner, she always made sure that we had what we needed. The ambience in the restaurant was energetic and was a very enjoyable experience overall
google avatar

Palisha R.

Yelp
This place aesthetically looked amazing, feels like you're outside when you're actually inside. We did get sat by the kitchen and I'm not sure what happened in there but they let out some sort of spice or what that we all started coughing and our eyes were burning which wasn't the experiencing I was hoping for after five minutes it went away. But it was really confusing and no one came up to us and warned us about it but oh well, it was a busy night! We got the 6 person dinner it was technically 35 per person but we ordered a few more items and cost about 110 per person. We got the waygu separately and it was okay, the marble was nice but it tasted pretty bland unfortunately. The star of the show was the stir fried rice that was delicious. We got a lot of food and could barely finish but we pulled through, the shrimp was very good too it was sweeter than I expected but still good if you want white rice you have to order separately and the tofu soup so good wish it was a little spicer and for dessert we got s'mores. Overall not too bad, pretty pricy for not all you can eat but they did have a lot of food in the package.

Yelp
IRENA is so great and nice! The food is always delicious. And lunch meal is a good deal.

Yelp
I have eaten at the River North Gyu-Kaku restaurant and really enjoyed it. This experience was nothing like it, and extremely horrible. We had a reservation at 8 pm but they made us wait a while and then gave us a spot in the most crowded area of the room. We requested a vacant spot on the less crowded side by the window they said it would take about half an hour, even though there were 8 tables vacant on that side. However, after 10 minutes, they offered us a spot on that side, deliberately not seating us at the one we requested. Then they told us it was too late to order the set menu (the restaurant closes at 10 pm) and we had to order a-la-carte which was over-salted. The server didn't even serve water nor check on us. The food and service were exceptionally bad. However, the creme-de-la-creme was that we had parked right in front of the restaurant and when we walked back to our car we noticed that the left passenger glass was broken and someone stole my backpack with some really important documents. The restaurant didn't bother to help. Worst dining experience ever.

Yelp
This place has been my favorite Japanese bbq place for year. Great selection of meat and the dipping sauce is amazing. My favorite one is the sweet and spicy sauce, a great balance of flavor. Staff is very friendly.

Yelp
First-timer eating Japanese bbq - I LOVED it! My group of 4 ordered the Yakiniku package from the a la carte menu and we ordered an extra 2 orders of garlic noodles and 2 dishes of rice bowls and it was the perfect amount of food. Lychee martini: I ordered a drink because we were celebrating me and my friend for starting our new jobs. This drink is STRONG. I had to water it down. Still delicious though if you like lychee. It comes with 1 lychee at the bottom of the drink. Garlic noodles: These noodles were delicious! Loved the garlic flavor. We ordered 2 because one serving isn't enough for 4 people. They were honestly skimpy with both the noodles and the rice we ordered which is why we got 2 of each. Beef fried rice/garlic fried rice: Both these rice dishes were delicious and went perfectly with all the meats. They were skimpy with the rice. The bowls it came in were barely filled with rice. Meats: The quality and flavor of the meats were all so good. They provide you with a grilling guide for specific meats and how long to cook them. The ribeye and the beef meats were our favs. The chicken was probs our least favorite but still good. Dessert: Smores were a part of the package we ordered. Everyone got 1 each. They remove the top layer of the grill so you can roast the marshmallows over the fire directly.

Yelp
Super fun experience and HIGHLY recommend coming for happy hour as the prices can't be beat. The menu is extensive and there is something for everyone. I didn't love the quality of the meat we ordered though. Most of our dishes were super fatty or cut so thinly and small it made it very difficult to grill. The sauces were tasty and the service was friendly/quick. For the happy hour prices it's a great spot.
google avatar

Holly S.

Yelp
Great food and I LOVED the mango sangria! It was slushee style and it was so delicious and refreshing! I had the restaurant week lunch and overall it was really great! Even the salad starter was more exciting than your average house salad. I also loved the wontons and all the meats! The only thing I tried that I didn't love was the tuna volcano (deep fried rice balls with tuna on top). The flavors were alright but the texture was odd. It was really chewy and almost crunchy. The only other downsides were that they were out of a few things and messed up a couple super small things. The server was really friendly tho!

Yelp
Gyu Kaku is pretty good. Beef tongue and pork belly are my favorites, you can tell it's good quality meat and they are just tender. For appetizers, got the bacon chips and chicken karage and both are Shishito peppers have good flavor especially when it's fully grilled, it's not really spicy. Best part for me is the dessert, matcha cake and s'mores are I was a little disappointed on the tofu soup, to be honest, I've had better ones. Place is clean and staff is nice.

Yelp
I'm late to my review but this Gyu-Kaku is now a staple in my dining out. It's something I crave every 2-3 months. It's mostly consistent with quality, flavors, and service but I've had a miss experience before. I recommend the middle tier meat package if you're not doing AYCE if you have at least 2 people in your party.

Yelp
I'm not sure why the service is so bad here. Went when it was not busy. Waited forever for service, drinks, and chewy steak that was inedible. This establishment is also really dirty. There was old food in the booths and dust standing everywhere. I was highly disappointed and grossed out. Also stopped by the Santa Monica Ca location the week before and it looked just as gross. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are so many other good food spots!

Yelp
I had a 6:45pm reservation granted we were extremely early but I was told that I may have to wait until closer to my reservation time. He can see what he can do because he has other parties with Reservations. Great No problem but then in walks a family of three with no reservation he asked they stated no they didn't have a reservation. And he sits them immediately while we still have to wait...I'm really trying to understand the logic of sense that made! When I asked he had made even less sense stating I sat them because I had a cancellation he had to have realized how much sense that actual statement made so he got us seated about 15 minutes after that. Cassidy was amazing she was attentive will not knock her service she was great!

Yelp
Always had Korean BBQ so when I heard if this place I had to give it a shot! Loved the food, I usually get ayce but this time I went with take out cuz of covid. The ayce is fantastic I recommend the middle proceed in so you get the bacon chips and beef tongue. Personally I think the bed tongue is my favorite but everything else is delicious I prefer the thinner sliced beef and pork belly. As for the take out, it was pretty decent. Wings were still credit but I with it was heavier in flavor. The fried rice was average, nothing special about it. Their umami scallion rice from the ayce menu was better. Over I feel like their string point is their grilled meats and I suggest that also they have smores for dessert, how awesome is that!?

Yelp
A great date spot or place to bring folks from out of town. A unique-ish experience for sure. They had a more limited menu than usual due to COVID, but seemed pretty busy. Masks were required except when you were sitting down. We did have to wait like 15 mins to be seated which was nerve-wracking since they are pretty strict on their grace period on weekends. Had a few diff types of steak, spicy shrimp, and ramen. Liked it all. Would def come back!

Yelp
So much food for the price, we did not leave hungry. So fun! Could have used bigger plates and another plate for the cooked items. We'll be back next time we're in town.

Yelp
Cute ambience when you walk in.. food was mediocre.. had Ala carte, but could've done the all you can eat option.. the meats were decent, and the service was okay. Wish our server explained the meats more or gave us better suggestions. The beef tongue was great and the tofu soup was bland.. the matcha dessert was a good ending to dinner.

Yelp
My friends and I had a great experience here. We called and were able to get a reservation the same day. We arrived late and were told we had a 2 hour limit at the table, which was enough time for us. We got the Meat Lovers set for 2 and an additional order of the corn cheese butter and garlic noodles. Everything really impressed me and even though it was a set for 2 people, our party of 3 was full by the end. The meat tasted high quality and they have 3 different sauces at the table to dip in. Everything came out relatively fast. Definitely recommend coming with a group for a fun experience!

Yelp
Our server was so sweet! She made good recommendations as the menu had so many options. The sauces were yummy, dipped everything in the spicy one and the sweet soy. The toro beef was delicious!! Definitely my favorite cut. The restaurant has a cute indoor outdoor set up so it didn't get too smokey like some bbq places do

Yelp
I was so excited to try the all you can eat Japanese BBQ! My friends and I came here on a Sunday night with some nursing friends to try out the all you can eat. On a Sunday night parking was easy to find. They have three options. The premium is $39 per person and includes 35 items to choose from. The ultimate is $49 and has 52 items, and the supreme is $59 and has 67 items. We opted for the ultimate, $49 options. The one setback to this is that if one person at your table orders the all you can eat option, then everyone at your table must order the same option. The service was on point and courteous, and they kept our table uncluttered, as well as our grill fresh. I really am excited to bring my husband here, for a special occasion though because $49 is a lot for me to drop on a meal. My Favorites: - The garlic noodles are SO tasty!!! - The Harami Skirt steak miso = nicely seasoned, and tender - The Shrimp Garlic - Japanese Fried Chicken - Fried bacon - Tropical Sorbet - Zuchini Things I'd pass on next time: - Filet mignon = not very seasoned, and my friend overcooked it! - Bibimbap = not too flavorful. Not worth valuable stomach real estate during this all you can eat. - Vegetable spring rolls = I've had better.... too much breading - Mushroom = not seasoned at all, and meant to be steamed - Cocktails.... I got the Geisha, and I was not very impressed. $10 and mostly juice, and again... taking up valuable stomach real estate!
