"The Japanese sando restaurant, Gyu Plus, has come a long way since its days tucked away inside the kitchen of Molly’s Tavern at 9821 S. Eastern Avenue near Silverado Ranch Boulevard. In September, it opened a standalone location in Chinatown at 3516 Wynn Road with limited hours. And now, the restaurant that loads thick and fluffy shokupan slices with beef filet and onion jam or with Jidori egg salad has not only expanded its hours to include Sunday, it has opened a new late-night bar called the Social Lounge. A MUST try. A new place in Chinatown Las Vegas. GYU + is a hidden gem. It looks like a sandwich place in the front but has a hidden Fine Dining in the back. We had 4 course meal for Valentine’s Day ( appetizer, 2nd course-Red Snapper Crudo, 3rd course- Prime Tomahawk Steak with potato pave, house made salad, Desert) The ambiance is so beautiful and romantic with live Jazzy Blues music. Their main singer- Sage has awesome Sade vibe. Definitely try dining on Friday & Saturday night.!

We recently stopped by this gem after seeing it on social media. I'm a frequent traveler to Japan and if you love sandwiches there then you have to try this place. When we first arrived the owner Lewis greeted us and made some recommendations based on our tastes. We decided to get The Lulu Sando Box so we could try a variety of their sandwiches. It really wasn't long after where we were able to dive into the food. The Spicy Chicken was cooked to perfection. It was juicy and the slaw was made perfectly to compliment the chicken. The Egg Sando was very nicely done with large chunks of egg in the sandwich that I really enjoyed. The Steak Sando was prepared very well. The Steak is of higher quality so that when you bite into it the meat is not tough where you have to really get into it. The meat is soft enough where you can actually get a bite of bread and meat with every bite. The restaurant has more things to come as there is also a back area that they are building out to expand their offerings. Not to mention the bathrooms are tastefully done and gives me Japan vibes. I hope this place stays open for years to come. The staff and the food is truly amazing. I will not hesitate to come back.

I'm obsessed with this hidden gem! Hands down, the best Japanese sandos in Vegas. The top-quality ingredients transported me straight to Japan. But what truly made our experience exceptional was the warm hospitality. The manager's passion for Japan shone through in our conversation, and his genuine interest in our love for the culture truly warmed my heart. The customer service here is Michelin-star worthy! The shop's aesthetic is also noteworthy – the artwork and decor are stunning, and the bonsai tree in the corner adds a lovely touch. It's clear the owner takes pride in every detail. If you're a Japan enthusiast or just a foodie, this place is an absolute must-visit!

My first time there last week and OMG! every dish was delicious. We went there for dinner. The decoration and the atmosphere are super cute! Food presentation is beautiful like we were at a fancy restaurant on the strip but the prices are much cheaper. Definitely be back again for their special menu.

This was probably the best sandwich I've ever had. Beef with onion jam on the softest bread ever. Reasonably priced for what you get. Staff was fantastic. They have an awesome private dining experience opportunity if you're looking to host an event.

This place is a Las Vegas gem! Seriously, if you are in the area, make sure you eat at GYU! Wonderful service, delicious food, and the atmosphere is a vibe unto itself! We went for a friend's birthday and everyone was impressed!

Ok. The food is the bomb! We had the beef steak sando and the chicken sando. The only regret would be not getting the sando sample which is 3 sandwiches. I wanted the egg sando too but was too full. The place inside was small so not really for a dine in area. No free drink. I would also eat it as soon as you buy it as it can get soggy. We didnt try the chips but it seems good when I was looking at the other orders. We also came around 2pm so there was no wait time. It was also weird that they were only open until 0430pm and they are close I believe on Mondays.

Food was unique and great. Heard about it on tiktok and other reviews and was a great experience. I got the sampler which was a great deal and fried rice. The staff was very friendly and just great. I really enjoyed it The steak was great, medium rare, not tough avg the onions and sauce with it were great. The chicken was my favorite, very flavorful. The egg i was looking forward to with the soft boiled egg but honestly it was disappointing and a bit flavorless. Needed salt and pepper I believe Bathrooms never get mentioned, but these were so clean and nice. Pretty cool toilet too lol
