H Mart Northern 144

I’m really disappointed with the customer service I experienced. I had a quality issue with a food product and when I called for assistance, the staff member on the phone was very rude, abruptly telling me to call back without addressing my concerns. Additionally, there seems to be a pattern of stressful interactions among staff, as I’ve previously witnessed a cashier visibly upset and shouting, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. It’s concerning to see such a lack of professionalism, and it definitely impacts the shopping experience negatively. I hope the management takes steps to improve customer service and the working environment.

They have everything very Flash. Good food

Please avoid this Hmart at all costs for fresh food. Packaged food just check the expiration dates. All the yogurt we tried to buy was expired, the cashier laughed when I told her it's expired and she told me it's still good, no thanks I said. I purchased mangosteen and lychee from here as well, both were rotten on the insides. I wouldn't bother spending time reviewing a grocery store unless I truly felt it was necessary. There is an Hmart 10 minutes from union turnpike with a great Paris Baguette inside. Try that one, if you live neat here, avoid anything fresh because most likely it's rotten.

Sometimes, I really feel like Hmart is going to take over the world someday. They are one of the largest Asian supermarket chains in America. In Flushing alone there are 5 locations, three of which are along Northern Boulevard. The newest location is called Hmart Northern 144 and it's within blocks from Hmart 141 and Hmart 156. Luckily for us, the stores are numbered to differentiate from one another! I don't quite get why they would open another Hmart so close to the others but I guess there's a demand for it. The store grand opening was last week. This location does not have its own parking lot that I could find, so it was a bit of a hassle trying to find parking along busy Northern Boulevard. As soon as you go in they take your temperature. My first impression of the store was that it was small but very smartly laid out. They position the first three or four aisle in such a way that traffic only flows in one direction. And then, after the fourth aisle, you will see the seafood section, the frozen sections, pre made food, etc. The layout is not conducive for a quick grocery run as it makes you walk through several aisle first but very smart of the store since most people end up buying more items, in my opinion. The prices are comparable with other Hmart locations. Since it just opened up, the store is very clean and organized. If I'm in the neighborhood, and can find parking, I would definitely come back.

Have to drop my rating here. They up’ed their prices of cheap ridiculous stuffs by a lot just so they can have “sales”. I got a frozen spicy squid on sale that would normally sell for $12 (See picture) It’s worth probably $3 tops. I have had no bad experience at all here. The line could get quite long sometimes. Some things are overpriced but they often have discounts on other things. Service is always good. No free parking. Paid meter outside.

This Korean H Mart has been located in here for more than 30 years. We come to buy their poultry and meat very often as the quality are better than the Chinese market in the nearby. Couple times we had the argument with the store's advertisements sending to our emails, and they are NOT admitted the over-charged by one dollar a pound of Chicken boneless thighs. Where y itou can see the ad. And buying labels. They are ruining their reputation for such a small amount. Is it worth????

10/10 they had everything I need u like the hmart on Roosevelt Ave which is a little smaller and doesn't have an many things. The frozen selection here was great but I wish the fish guy had more knowledge on stuff
